1301  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: June 16, 2015, 06:45:55 PM
since Bitcoin has a golden future (I hope maybe in 5 or 10 years, hopefully sooner) you will be paid very well.

and what if did doesnt in the 10 years lol.

bitcoin is still trying to get a new userbase from somewhere, anywhere pretty much at this point.
1302  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best point in time to cash out the Bitcoins? on: June 16, 2015, 06:43:24 PM
Since the twins recently launched their exchange, and its a matter of days now officially.

Id like to see how most would respond to that 1st, and then cash out? I dont know, but usually something new happens in the btc community it goes bad usually..
1303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gemini going live next week on: June 16, 2015, 06:38:50 PM
I have been waiting for ages, I can wait another week. Gemini is a major player, it will enable all the clueless people with money to get on Bitcoin safely and a regulated non sketchy way. The days of the Mt Gox era are starting to look more and more like a nightmare of the past that will not happen again.

so are itbit, coinbase, circle, and other people providing "regulated" ways to get in. it's not gonna make much of a difference. It's just an excuse for people to hope it will bring up the price, but in reality, it's gonna be the same result.

What I am hoping for is major use cases of btc, utility vs exchanges.

coinbase has a nasty customer support staff, some days are good most days are off.

I feel like them launching the right way will help support our btc price. As for utility, its already being a form of money laundering for gambling sites, so I dont know what else its used for as utility.
1304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there any possibility to hit the BTC price @ $16666.66 ? on: June 16, 2015, 06:34:40 PM
Yeah, I`ll probably get hit by a bus or something during the time duration.

Or probably get into some natural causes for me to enjoy this coin..
1305  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 16, 2015, 06:32:27 PM
0.01 BTC Tongue

Yeah, that can barely afford you to buy a decent meal.

I dont think anyone can obviously live off of 0.01 you troll.
1306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in deep trouble. Litecoin to take its place soon. on: June 16, 2015, 06:28:41 PM
Your money, your risk, you have to do your own due diligence.
You can also look around for some so called 2.0 coins, though I do not have much faith in them.

Regardless of the due diligence, your money is always at risk.

Its just a matter of reducing that risk factors that you invest specifically.
1307  Economy / Speculation / Re: A humongous crash imminent! on: June 16, 2015, 06:25:37 PM
Just sold all my coins because I saw this.

Youre so right, who wants to me bagholder for this coin, when its going to be used a money transmitter, and also hedges fiat money.

I mean lets love paper more.
1308  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get free bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 12:50:28 AM
you can try with faucet or signature campaign

Or you can go work for someone and post your services section.

I`m always looking to hire extra posters who qualify and follow the rules and the agreement. If youre doing the faucet route, I hope you use the referral system more then you do on the captcha.
1309  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to Forum on: June 16, 2015, 12:47:49 AM
Welcome back to the forum.

The best sources you can do mentioned was coindesk.

But for immediate updated stuff thats going on, you can always check to see what people have to say on reddit. Usually theres information about recent news, or what most are concerned about.
1310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stocks fall globally as Greek talks collapse on: June 16, 2015, 12:45:07 AM
If greek really does collapse, the whole euro will shrug it off and learn to never lend a black hole.

They never grown import and exports wise, besides being a tourist destination. Its like cutting allowance to your kid who always didnt have enough for bubble gum thats .25 cent short every single day. Sooner or later you say no.
1311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: June 16, 2015, 12:42:38 AM
I bilieve i will earn 1 BTC in a year by using my account.
My rank will grow and i will joiin signature campaigns.
and im sure it''s less than 1 year you have collected 1 BTC

Not really a sig campaign pays 0.04/week , multiplied by  52 = 2.08 BTC

But you need Full Member or above
8.5 months to become sr member and participate in sig with a great rate and payment

Surely you people would be better off getting a job in a supermarket than wasting your time on here with signature campaigns?

Then buying btc with your wages if you wanted to.

Well it depends on the persons situation.

The signature campaign though, should be more of a temp work, while searching for a permanent solution while job hunting or networking for that specific job.

I hired a few people in the past that were needing extra cash on the side. Theres plenty who are always in this type of situation.
1312  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 16, 2015, 12:38:18 AM
Price will go up, media will go nuts, people will fomo then it will crash.

I think thats pretty much everyday of bitcoin.

not just halving, most people read reddit and go nuts - and fear is what usually drives the price.
1313  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 16, 2015, 12:34:41 AM
in my eyes, I dont think it acts like gold.

Yes, its value is rare and all that and hedged against fiat. But to me it acts more of a money transmitter then anything else.

Similar to moneygram etc.
1314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in deep trouble. Litecoin to take its place soon. on: June 16, 2015, 12:28:11 AM
Bitcoin fails, what makes litecoin wont?

I still dont understand the rationality between another alt coin, if a main coin that was promoted originally fails. As for blocksize, we already know its going to be updated more then 1mb to continue on.
1315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best point in time to cash out the Bitcoins? on: June 16, 2015, 12:24:29 AM
honestly, I dont think theres a right best point in time to cash out.

Unless you got something similar to that mt.gox event thats pretty obvious you can tell to cash out on.
1316  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 16, 2015, 12:22:44 AM
Thats if you survive the next 20 years.

And who knows you and I are writing this thread for awesome stuff, then one day I get hit by a car. Everyday events can happen during the next 20 years for me to not able to enjoy it, and every other form of cancer available.
1317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why are we rising? (speculation) on: June 16, 2015, 12:20:27 AM
Its been rising in my view.

But thats just seeing from the value of zero to where it is now, and staying mid $200 is even better. Intially I dont think we`ll hit value of back to zero.
1318  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT pay off your student loans!! Sub-prime student loan bail-out is here! on: June 16, 2015, 12:18:54 AM
Now imagine to pay $40,000 of your wasted years.. at a starbucks job just cause someone doesnt want you..

its at that point that you leave usa if you are smart and dont enjoy legalized slavery

Oh yeah, totally forgot something important.

You cant also discharge or claim bankruptcy college debt, to anyone who wants to fraud the system and try not to pay it off.

actually yeah you can, just leave usa and dont come back, loleasy. you can even come back just dont do anything retarded like buy a house.

Legalized slavery is everywhere though, and it depends on the situation if youre willing to say fuck it lol.

As for leaving, id probably leave if the job is almost 90% yes, if its worth it like some people who are hiring in dubai being a cheff.

eg: take a culinary arts, then dubai job offer

This very brilliant guy Tellinger is advocating the society based on small communities that voluntarily send a part of their produce to the neighbors. Yet there is no money, no barter, no trade nor value involved.

It will become possible via higher consciousness, he says.

Evil is evil Tongue
Communism idealism, dreams are dangerous when you act without thought.    Money is nothing but a marker, it allows us to count more precisely thats all really.   Pure barter or voluntary sharing as this is framed is a step backwards very simply because its less precise and harder to describe or plan for in a business cycle.    Sounds like just somebody who should be respecting or at least examining with a level head ideas in wealth of nations or similar, comparative advantage is a massive thing especially now with global trading.  Pure barter across such gaps does not work, or even a plain montary fixed ratio does not work as well as the free flow of money and varied contracts every day.  It disables some trade, discourages speculative ventures that might take place; in a small town setting, agrarian cooperative shared resource planning and ideas such as that could be a positive.

In short, sharing scales to Communism because it isn't economic.

(really if we all shared everything, nothing would get invested and if we don't account accurately, investment can't scale ... well at least this was true in the high fixed capital Industrial Age ... the Knowledge Age should enable the Gift economy ... my point is the system we have now was economically unavoidable because we didn't have the technology to move the real capital to the ends of the network but now we do...).

In discussions like this, it always end up pointing towards the same conclusion: In the future money will just be useless. I still think a resource based economy is the big next step in evolution, but it will take ages to reach there, and cryptocurrencies will be an intermediate step.
Comparing RBE with 20th century communisms is pointless because advanced automation is a new paradigm. Capitalism cannot deal with this constant automation of all sectors forever.

This goes back to history though.

Its why bartering doesnt work, and why fiat money was created to avoid bartering, incase someone doesnt like what they like for trade and still wanted something.
