1461  Economy / Economics / Re: money laundering on: May 20, 2015, 02:17:49 AM
As long their are forms of gambling the casinos are a perfect for people to launder their drug money.

Its pretty shady as hell too, cause I actually noticed some of these gambling sites outside from the bitcoin scene they require youre last 4 ssn.

Like what the hell? talk about identity theft included lol.
1462  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: May 20, 2015, 02:14:06 AM
I wouldnt stress on it too much, but eventually it can be used officially as a financial tool for something.

It could be a potential universal GDP kinda thing for all countries, and each represents a significant value on their debt to ratio. Whenever they do decide to lend to one another with their international money.  Hopefully it can be a reserve currency to them?
1463  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Monbux's Quick and Painless BTC EXCHANGE! (Paypal, Gift Cards, Interac e-transf) on: May 20, 2015, 02:05:39 AM
I forgot to update my recent transaction, couple days ago with Monbux.

Hehe... Candy ... U just have sooo bad karma at pd Cheesy .

LOL, that karma is from scamming people and buying alt accounts.

Ripping people off, all comes around. I have no sympathy esp scammers.
1466  Economy / Economics / Re: Best exchange? on: May 13, 2015, 11:04:42 PM
best exchange is probably localbitcoins, esp when you get it on the spot.

not waiting for some bull crap wire transfer confirmation, or other misc problems that you have to deal with.

you may pay a premium, but theres no serious wait.
1467  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTB Ebay Account on: May 13, 2015, 11:01:02 PM
whats the benefit for you buy a verified account?

endless potential shell bidding? if thats the case, you can always just have your friend bid on your stuff then to buy an account?
1468  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 13, 2015, 10:56:15 PM
Someone made a thread recently they are on a bidding ward to buy spoondoolies?

Is this true?

or am I just reading more troll stuff, and if its true, then why would spoondoolies sell their company?
1469  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What about our old miners? on: May 13, 2015, 10:52:49 PM
You can probablly still sell the chips on the boards?

That might be worth something, if people are into modding for that specific model. But, this varies of course not a huge market of demand only just possible option.

Or just try to accept a better deal on ebay, and at least get like $20 minimum for it, also depends on the model etc.
1470  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of the Bear Trend on: May 13, 2015, 10:49:44 PM
Damn its been 6 years with this coin.

And we still going strong, yeah minor set backs of no choice like mt.gox making the coin back down, but overall view from what I see its on the incline.

If you see that graph it goes all the way back when it was like $1.00 value lol.
1471  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins investing risks on: May 13, 2015, 10:46:32 PM
I think that's a good list OP. I might add a "black swan" sort of risk. That is to say that an unknown flaw or exploit in the protocol could emerge. Or some other, as yet unconsidered, event. Perhaps a dramatic change in the free and open use of the internet? It's not risk free.

didnt that happen back in 2013 ish or something way back when.

When double spending happened, and we had to wait like forever for transactions to find our block.
1472  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Start Mining with 2500$ Budget. on: May 13, 2015, 10:39:57 PM
I thought mining in general is dead, so which is why most people just flip hardware these days.

And after profit, they just go buy bitcoin instead and hold.

Its what I would be doing with that $2,500.
1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: 21 splash! on: May 13, 2015, 12:43:41 AM
so I read a bit on what 21 wants to do.

and I read the whole social approach with it, that hulu example is pretty horrible. Pay bitcoin to skip commercial? really? I`m going to give my hard earned, hard to get coin in general based on mining to pay a 1 min commericial, okay thats makes so much sense.

I`d throw my dogecoin before bitcoin.
Depending how long the show you're watching is, there could be commercials 5 or 6 times throughout of varying lengths. If you got a female laying her head on your lap, you might just want to keep the show rolling and have the commercials prepaid. Just a thought.

Okay, outside from the female part.

But, this is why I also switched from hulu to netflix instead of the commercial crap. 5 or 6 times is a bit much, by end of the month I`d be broke and be seeing my balance from 1 btc to .1 btc in 1 months time.
1474  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 10PHs in 1 day vs 1PHs in 10 days on: May 13, 2015, 12:39:00 AM
Id ask more of what can I afford to risk, since its based on what you can afford really.

Say you go with the huge performance 10 PHs, question is that can you still continue even if the value drops? lol. As oppose to the other smaller hash performance you can since, its less intial risk and can be made for the loss.

Leverage is just accelerated risk, if its not done right which is the 10 PHs.
1475  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Terraminers sold cheap, need someone to confirm delivery first on: May 13, 2015, 12:31:43 AM
You should really do the following, if you do really have those miners.

But, even then why here why not just sell it on ebay, I seen so many people pay premium even for BFL 60 ghs.

In the future though, escrow with no photo id of your bitcointalk tag is really inexcusable, if you didnt know this then now you know.
1476  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards (E-Code) @ 40% - FULL GUARANTEE!! on: May 13, 2015, 12:23:42 AM
No, people been getting the 50% discount rate, which is what im pointing out.

And thats why I`m asking when will you change it back.

eg: a $50 card value @ 50% rate = $25
1477  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards (E-Code) @ 40% - FULL GUARANTEE!! on: May 13, 2015, 12:18:02 AM
do yo know when you`ll do the 50% instead of the 40%.

or is it more like that was a one time thing, and since its harder to get the cards its now 40%?
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: More huge news on: May 13, 2015, 12:15:31 AM
this news shouldnt be anything really from the past news, similar to how bitcoin was announced a ban in china.

it should be taken very lightley since, wall st itself is a game for hackers and using the public on being a sucker at someone game.

also 21`s strategy for social is retarded. Whos going to pay a hard earned bitcoin thats hard to mine as is all to pay a commercial to skip, gtfo here.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: Just found a person selling about 44,000 Bitcoins in localbitcoins on: May 12, 2015, 11:59:21 PM
If this guy sells, we`d see another drop in bitcoins price.

Because thats pretty huge sum, and most I seen last 2 weeks ago was a 5,000 coin sell off that did a $50 price damage to the value.

But, thats if this guy was legit and if we knew he have coins or not. If the persons legit, he just tired of the up and down scenario imo.
1480  Economy / Economics / Re: money laundering on: May 12, 2015, 11:55:43 PM
is bitcoin open way forward money launderer to get safe money,i asked that because its appear that bitcoins is verry hard to control or track

Bitcoin is not very hard to track. Why do you ask? If someone is after you and have enough power and incentive (say, some governmental agency), you will get caught sooner or later...

This has been discussed already

I asked because my study is about that, and i know its hard to track dirty money in reality how gouvernmental agency will deal with digital.

most people who do launder money actually mix their coins, or actually re-gamble it to a gambling site to get fresh new coins.

but they do cover their steps if they were smart enough to launder the money in general.
