1521  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stay away from bitcoin ! on: April 29, 2015, 11:30:08 PM
This thread is bullish for sure!   Cool

Thanks OP for the push I needed.

Just becasue there are a lot of bulls on here, doesn't make any of them right.  BTC seems to have very weak support, even at this level.  I for sure am holding off until $150 or even double digits hit.

The price is weak comparatively to the all time high in 2013, but if you're comparing to the beginnings when it was worth less than pennies, it's reasonably strong.

This train hasn't even left the station if you think about it.  We got a long journey ahead.

That picture sounds about right.

But, its a matter of holding on right? Most people are comparing back in 2013 prices, but very few factor things are a bit different now.

One of the elements is that the face the supply of bitcoin is growing smaller since halving and lost coins followed with diifficulty is just getting very dumb.
1522  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards (E-Code) @ 50% - FULL GUARANTEE!! on: April 29, 2015, 11:24:03 PM
do you think I can buy a small test amount like you mentioned earlier $2-$5 cards.

I really dont feel like buying a huge balance regardless, since I dont know where it comes from.

Well I used my vouch code this morning and it worked just fine. Going to purchase a $50 code...will reply back later.

I`m assuming your card was perfectly okay, since you didnt report back.
1523  Economy / Economics / Re: What would cause the failure of fiat money system? on: April 29, 2015, 11:21:12 PM
The fiat system has already failed with debts that will never be paid (no country will ever be able to face the debt). The system is being kept on a fake bubble by QE and never ending printing of fake money.

True true, but thats the beauty of the fiat system.

You dont need to pay anyone back, cause why? cause its the fiat system, and its all about printing more paper until it becomes useless till we go back to bartering things forcefully.
1524  Economy / Economics / Re: NASDAQ reached a new all-time high this week on: April 29, 2015, 11:19:30 PM
Its only a matter of time one of these private companies decide to go public.

And then the average american can invest tradtionally to like coinbase or whatever.

The Winklevoss brothers should bring the BTC equivalent of NASDAQ with Gemini, which would translate into all that big, clueless old money flowing into the BTC market (because they didn't knew how to buy BTC before).

Yeah, but its shame that the whole etf proposal was back in 2012?

And its 2015 now.. so like either they forgot about it, or they just said fuck it lets just make an exchange instead if the etf was failure. There no updates regarding to what I know they informed on with that whole route.
1525  Economy / Goods / Re: What smart people usually buy by Bitcoins?!! on: April 29, 2015, 10:47:14 PM
Some?

I saw most dont even consider buying anything unless its something they really desire it, cause like most they actually just hold. It can be like a rolex watch though, its different based on most people.

If I had a ton of coin, I`d buy a house like that one guy did.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: They want to buy 5000 BTC for 350$ each! on: April 29, 2015, 10:44:07 PM
AAAAANNNND it's gone !!

Whuda thunk it  Roll Eyes

Oh, and just to be super-safe Maxim lowered their new bid to $30 for 100 shares ...

/thread

EDIT : AAAAANNNND it's back !!   Cheesy

Haha, that just reminded me to go watch that south park moment again.

But, I think most of the whales been just testing with our heads though with prices. See what are willing to buy at, someone should ask these questions with a actual whale. I`m sure the whale would agree though that some of them are doing this.
1527  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 29, 2015, 10:41:29 PM
Saving is an good option..that will help you to invest in future.. atleast make a plan that you can save a part of your salary which gonna be helpful to you to invest.
If you dont save how you gonna invest?? And if you can directly invest ie if you are rich enough then why you need to save?? you can directly go for an investment.

Some people actually dont save. Theres situations like people who win a lottery, or take over their daddys company at the age of 21.

Of course these are all special situations, and not applied to the 90%, but to comment on the rich not needing to save is a bit naive as well. I know a fellow friend save just as well much with investing cause incase the investment does go bad or for future loss being covered.
1528  Economy / Economics / Re: Global economy has made a disappointing start to 2015 on: April 29, 2015, 10:37:09 PM
it seems that every years is getting worse, now with ISIS bitcoin will suffer too, because they are using it as a payment, which mean more dumping

euro is falling, while usd gained something, so not everything seems to decline

you shouldnt be too pessimistic here. its not as if silkroad was non-existent there will always be some form of illegal transactions used with bitcoin, thats pretty much given based on human history.

you see that not only in bitcoin, but in fiat money as well, so I dont get your point.
This is common that people are being pessimistic about economy everytime we don't see any rapid economic growth, there is nothing wrong with a little economic stagnation. And that news with ISIS using bitcoin as payment method is overhyped by the media and everybody are repeating this over and over again. And we don't know the scale of this. It is probably much less than we expect.

I feel like this whole labeling ISIS is more of a political play for the longest time, keep on labeling things as terrorists.

I just saw a documentary on Vice not long ago on how terrorists are recruited and its often their own farmers since they cant even make money from their land. Forced to join, but it showed how poor they really are.

Id assume the main bitcoin ISIS users would be the people who are at the top selling these guns to neighboring countries.
1529  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy now or wait ? $41,000 to invest in bitcoins and litecoins on: April 29, 2015, 10:28:45 PM
Hi guys, after more than 1 year, here I am again

I'm fu*ked, bought all the 41k $ in Litecoins @ $20 dollars each

Now It's $1,4

hahahahah I have nothing to do, just wait and hodl

I have been FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU !!!  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

hahahahhaha  Cool Grin

Crap! not a good feeling, i got in litecoin a little cheaper but still got raped with the drop, never thought it was possible to go back this low.

I agree with you its a great gamble coin though, im holding.

Did you invest to hedge off bitcoins prices?

I figure most would consider just investing 1 coin which is bitcoin, but thats just me I guess. I dont know how comfortable with other coins since bitcoin alone has too many price differences in a week span.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be less than 100$ by the end of the year on: April 29, 2015, 10:26:41 PM
The price could also be over 500$ by the end of the year, there is no true way of knowing what will happen..

I dont know, it been on a downward trend, and keeps to seem going down in the overall view.

But yeah, price spikes can happen at any given moment which I will never know why. Half the time I`m thinking its a whale who just recently got extra money to blow and decided to buy like 5000 btc.
1531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: April 29, 2015, 10:24:31 PM
I am suspecting a long stabilization periode as a next move unsatisfying bears as well as bulls.

Indeed. The herd is right until they aren't.

Stabilization for another few months/ maybe even years lets people know that this is the floor and the psychology around bitcoin being "expensive" will gradually change. When that does... we go up again.

There's too much manipulation in Bitcoin. Those people we saw on BTC-E 2 days back won't let it stabilize, unless by that you mean constant trading in the 200-300 range.

When you talk about manipulation.

Where do you get your stats or insights instead of reddit. Cause sometimes its too late to take advantage. Is there a better source you guys use outside from reddit, cause coindesk is always debatable.
1532  Economy / Digital goods / Re: >>> [PORN CAM SITE] CHATURBATE ACCOUNT WITH TOKENS CHEAP ** <<< on: April 29, 2015, 10:19:33 PM
Some legit questions, do any of these tokens go bad or something?

I`m kinda sitting on the sidelines for some to report back on this thread, since paypal wont cover digital goods even if its disputed.
1533  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Devastation on: April 28, 2015, 06:07:31 PM
And that one I know why. You do not know social value in your own life and fail to acknowledge social capital. You should be doing some serious charity to take the chance of learning it.

You obviously haven't read my posts in my former usernames. I doing $100s of charity every month in the Philippines...

Am I the only one who can see it for what it is? The man is asked about social value and he says he pays it! HE PAYS!

You are quite a judgmental, presumptive snot (and you are going to lead us to more sane reputational based outcomes  Huh).

I am personally involved in the circumstances and helping to organize better outcomes. I am involved in the social capital.

That society is trading fungible monetary units and not some non-fungible reputation hogwash you are advocating is another deep topic and my subsequent post to CoinCube applies in spades.

You are an annoyingly noisy drag on my time.

You need to factor most people are judgmental.

Even asking genuine advice on this forum people attack you for no reason. Or your views, so I think its best to keep every insight you have to others who appreciate your time.

Just ignore that user.
1534  Economy / Goods / Re: What do you think buying Rolex by Bitcoin on: April 28, 2015, 05:38:28 PM
Can you provide more then 3 pictures with a imgur link. I saw one picture w. the ID but people pointed something about being possible photoshop.

I got a buddy who buys and sells rolexs so this can maybe work out, if he likes it or not. I`d have to confirm back on here though.

Is this a custom model submariner or which one.
1535  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 5 x Antminer S3 hosted at Centerus on: April 28, 2015, 05:21:12 PM
So they charge how much again for them to be removed?

If the charge isnt much then I think I`ll tell a friend that I have in washington to host them for me.
1536  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS] 50$ Steam Card on: April 28, 2015, 05:17:55 PM
How do I know if its not been used with a carded card?

Or is there some sort of measurements that I can take to pay you after a certain amount of days after for the escrow to release?
1537  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Turning off miners on: April 28, 2015, 05:16:01 PM
Why not go with people who are legit in the cloud mining services?

Spoondoolies has partners like genesis mining that accepts all payment providers.

And you can still be in the mining game, and catch a break to get back in slow amounts at a time?
1538  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: April 28, 2015, 05:07:55 PM
Why not just pivot and get into the legit cloud mining scene with those asic providers.

Yeah, cloudmining has a bad name of its own, but theres ones that been around for awhile one of them being hashnest. The very antminers that you buy from?

Or better options like genesis-mining which allows credit card transaction, and supported with spoondoolies which also most trust as well.
1539  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: April 28, 2015, 05:03:48 PM
What I dont get is, you dont take a cut from genesis mining you guys support with?

Or is the cash flow not enough or not getting any attraction for cloud mining since that itself has a bad rep.

I`d assume youd make a decent cut to make new gen chips based on the partnership you have with them, giving them business.
1540  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Do you think mining will be profitable again ? on: April 28, 2015, 05:01:33 PM
only if the price skyrockets for some odd reason.

And it can offset the cost for facility and on day to day costs then yes it can profitable.

But, if you look at prices its not been that way for quite some time. The value would rise though once the block keeps getting halved.

No body can really say what will happen  at next halving.   We can guess sure, and hope it goes up.

But it is still a pretty long way away in crypto time.  With that amount of time we just don't know.

Yeah I know  Cheesy

Just hopeful you know, based on a supply of demand concept of limiting supply thats all lol.

But, I really hope the bitcoin will increase based on the rareness like gold.
