1501  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SELLING] Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards [Competitive Pricing] on: May 05, 2015, 08:07:25 PM
Someone mentioned about vouches.

Any chance you still giving away a vouch copys? I just wanted to know if how long does it go bad, if it does. So I`m aware of the risk I`m taking over all.
1502  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the Winklevoss twins actions be explained? on: May 05, 2015, 07:49:57 PM
they are just like you and me.  they don't have a magic crystal ball to see in to the future of bitcoin price.  they do have 20/20 hindsight vision though, just like you.

yeah, but the huge difference is that they have $200 mill to blow, and we aint got anything lol.

They can afford risk while we cant, and while they are doing this its more of a science project to them. Also, they might not see the future price, but they can be ahead of the price movement at all levels if they ever get the etf finished and accepted.
1503  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unsure on: May 05, 2015, 07:30:13 PM
Everyone that is on here for long term benefits from the current low price. We benefit by having the chance of getting entire amounts of BTC without it being extremely hard, the rich benefit from the weak hands as they get tons of cheap BTC.

Well yeah, thats only cause the size of existing capital they have from fiat form.

The rich are always ahead, since they have buying ability. As for long term benefits, it really falls upon what bitcoins direction as a commodity / day to day concept or something else entirely.
1504  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia / China Ban and strict US Regulations - Impact on: May 05, 2015, 07:26:12 PM
we can not dismiss the truth that this had implications for the development of Crypto currencies, but it is not going to make Crypto currencies die because its not in the major economies, there is still a small economy countries and communities around the world who use it and is active enough to make success in the future.

Also bitcoin is spread throughout internet and it would be very difficult to ban because there is no single authority to shut down. You could make btc illegal but there are ways to to surpass this.

If you ban it, no merchant within that countries borders would be allowed to accept it as a payment method. {That shuts the incentive to use it locally off to the general public}

If you accept it "online" and it gets traced back to you, it will lead to fines or imprisonment. {It's a illegal currency}

Most people would go underground, but it will still hurt the whole Bitcoin community.  Sad

Its not a option, so yeah going underground becomes a forced option.

As for the tracing back concept, its why people mix their coins to avoid that conflict depending the volume. Honestly, most of these coins are going for gambling maybe a small percent is held personal reasons to cold wallets.

The problem still though is if the country bans it, it deletes the entire community in that region being less global.
1505  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Am I too Late?! on: May 05, 2015, 05:14:33 AM
Work smarter, why bother into mining?

Just create something traditionally, and adapt it with bitpay and you should be having more bitcoin then the average user.

No ones really late, but whats worrying me is that after 6 years of introduction, no etf update or anything moving forward about other companies to adopt it.
1506  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What are 1THS miners yielding? on: May 05, 2015, 05:11:16 AM
if you go to bitcoinwisdom they have a calculator there.

but 1 th/s can yield a small amount, not how much you are expecting and the price you got your miners for? So, I just assume you invested some money expecting a quick turn around.

If the rise of bitcoin value goes up, then you wont have to worry as much. In the future though, you should consider cloud mining with legit providers like hashnest the same ones who produce antminers.
1507  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin isn't a volatile asset. It is something else entirely. on: May 05, 2015, 05:08:13 AM

"Re: Bitcoin isn't a volatile asset. It is something else entirely. "

Yep, it is money.

Its considered multiple directions at this moment.

Yes, you can sell money for bitcoin and also trade for real gold that accepts it with bitpay. But, the technology should be considered more important then anything with a public ledger on howe do finance.

1508  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: May 05, 2015, 05:03:30 AM
It will never crash.

It has a similar credit system like how we use our credit cards, but theirs is on a entire international level with other international centralized banks that work together. And you say the dollar is going down, youre correct its been going down since way back when.

But, it`ll never turn to zero, since of the international scale making it take way longer then any of us can guess.
1509  Economy / Economics / Re: Money is an imaginary concept, but humanity is enslaved by it on: May 05, 2015, 05:01:10 AM
It's interesting you compare money to a supply and demand situation. The demand for money and the supply for money is both infinite. Money is like a scalar quantity. It's always constant. It's used by us humans to put a value on a product or service. It's the root of any economy. For a supply and demand to exist, you need to have money to drive it. I agree that it's an imaginary concept, but it's something that we are so dependent on because it puts a crystallized value on something.

Well what else are we going to use? I mean, theoretically if the money wasnt there, I really see no replacement.

The dollar and the fiat system has been here for longer then anyone can think of. It actually roots back way 1000 AD. I know for fact though bitcoin wont replace the current system, but it`ll be used for something else.

1510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does great wealth equal great responsibility? on: May 05, 2015, 04:56:35 AM
If you are an early adopter, which most of us arent, you would be not question these guys on their wealth.

Its a similar thing where you get in a stock very early, and if you gained from it I`m sure eventually you`d want more of it. Its human nature to have greed, or go on creating more things which microsoft has, or expanding their options.

Most of those guys are have done a great impact by creating jobs in the private sector.
1511  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the Winklevoss twins actions be explained? on: May 05, 2015, 04:52:46 AM
If they sold off most of their coins over set period within those rally, I think the market could of actually collapsed going back to low $50 range or less.

When people see the reaction of a huge sell off, people are going to do the same (majority) and few will buy.

Its more of a emotional state for investors to see.
1512  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: May 05, 2015, 04:45:46 AM
60% save on bank account.
25% low risk, low return.
15% high risk , high gain.

Its important to be financially stable, all the other "hopes and dreams"  should not blind you to risk majority of your net worth.
High risks and amounts rarely lead to long term gains, be smart.

cheers

and what the bank goes bust? 60% of your money is gone or trapped just like that? FDIC only covers $250k, but they also have details on how its covered in certain terms and conditions.

I`m aware you cant store all your money, but I rather just get a expensive vault and use that instead. Keeping everything in cash, then using it for better purposes when its needed esp, and to access your money is a pain as well by banks - hence transfer days.

The rest of the percent should be at a low 1%, but ultimately a low risk and instead make up for having a higher principal.
1513  Economy / Economics / Re: "Deflation" in Europe is actually Inflation in disguise on: May 05, 2015, 04:41:13 AM
In europe, price are stable ... but weight of package decrease by 1/3.
so, we have 30% of inflation since 2 years ...  Roll Eyes

and no, it's not only on the ravioli steel box ...  Grin

Thats also a nice way to hide inflation, shrink-flation.

I remember buying a pack of cereal when i was 8 years old, it was full, now they pack only a quarter of it, the rest of it is the package and the air.

Also i was eating chocolate a few days ago and it tasted horribly bad, i remember eating chocolate in my teens, and it tasted so good.

They change the ingredients to crappy and cheaper ingredients.

A nice brilliant way to hide inflation.

And then you blame the capitalists for giving you shitty products, when its the corporatist-fascist banksters fault (damn you fucking banksters!)  Cheesy

That reminds me of almost every bag of chips these days is the same as well.

They want to make the same profit or a bit more, with half the product. Companies who do this are still rich as hell, which I can never understand the level of greed but then again comparing to banks they seem a smaller player.

As for hiding inflation, I think its just all around. You see more outsourced things that costed companies without totally ruining the product still.
1514  Economy / Speculation / Re: This Bitfinex Credit Bubble cannot end well on: May 05, 2015, 04:33:51 AM
I think regardless of which way it goes, it should also be something to ask yourself about the technology behind it.

Which often people forget about, and that its a huge change in the financial game. Its going to be used for something, the direction of bitcoin is been deciding from day to day use, commodity, or other acceptable ventures.
1515  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SELLING] Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards [Competitive Pricing] on: May 05, 2015, 04:30:32 AM
The other guy is selling for 50-40%, how is yours any better?

This is more of a price thing, so you should be willing to match your percent.
1516  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Dunkin' Donuts Gift Cards (E-Code) @ 40% - FULL GUARANTEE!! on: May 05, 2015, 04:29:16 AM
wait so, if we download the app, and get the balance it cant merge to other balances?

its a dumb question to ask, but I assume it would be same as starbucks. how many more cards do you have, I rather prefer 50%.
1517  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm selling GOLD below bullion prices, but holding BITCOIN! $400 this month! on: May 05, 2015, 04:24:33 AM
Expecting the support and uptrend of $400 is a bit optimistic delusional thinking, it will.

It should be based on what events that occurs that makes it possible the hopeful thinking with price change. I can see it go up, but it would have to be something serious where bitcoin is being more accepted with being a etf or something else positive.
1518  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: May 05, 2015, 04:22:05 AM
Gamble it away using the doubling method.

Thats a fast way to being broke, and should be consider as a last option.

Yeah you can martingale it, but that only lasts only so long with bankroll. The only viable way for someone to make 2 btc to 4 btc, is if they sell on a downward trend and profit more to buy more coins while its cheap to buy back in 2 extra coins.
1519  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Senior member acct with neg trust 400+ activity on: April 29, 2015, 11:35:25 PM
The question is can you pretty much remove that trust?

Is it a loan that wasnt repaid or whats the actual cause, or by an admin. If its by an admin, that would really suck.

If its a loan, how much needs to get paid back?
1520  Economy / Speculation / Re: And it begins on: April 29, 2015, 11:32:56 PM
Oh Lord... this ship will sink even faster than expected now. With this exchange all the hacked and scammed coins can be dumped much faster. Prepare for free fall..

The desperation is strong with this one.

yada yada. People have lost interest in magic money a long time ago. Just try to talk to friends and family about it and you'll get laughed at.
As we calculated there are roughly 1.2 million btc waiting to be dumped by hackers and scam artists. This pressure is beyond anything even a big group of bitcoin fanatics can negate.

What about those who are already spent more then a million in VC money?

What about them? You think they`ll just say fuck it, lets just let it crash we can cover the loss anyways.
