1621  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: April 07, 2015, 04:13:38 PM
For the first time, when I look at the offers on LocalBitcoins.com, there are a half-dozen currencies ahead of the US dollar, offering a higher price for Bitcoin than US dollar users.

Euros, South African Rands, New Zealand Dollars, Hong Kong Dollars, Polish Zloty, Malaysian Ringgits.

It is no longer just the US, EU or even China driving adoption.  There is a market for Bitcoins in major countries all over the world.
These mean that BTC currency is prefer than other currency . This mean that BTC is the greatest of all currencies and also the price of btc will become higher because of the offering of the users.

Btc price will be higher because its the greatest currency?  Huh

I think you are looking at it wrong, the price of btc goes up and down everyday. Its all based on if more real money is put into play with bigger amounts, it just means that more people globally are willing to hold btc thats all that means.

1622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many wallets do I need? on: April 07, 2015, 04:07:24 PM
I only use 2 forms of wallet, but thats just me.

I suggest just creating a new btc wallet address though, from those wallets and provide it to him?

1 web wallet - blockchain
1 desktop wallet - btcqt

Then use whatever I need to restore with uploading it on google drive for dat files. I still have the paranoid thinking if I did get a cold wallet, I would probably lose it which is why I havent have one.

Plus I dont have a enormous amount of bitcoin like 25 btc.
1623  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Has mining (vs. simply buying) ever been profitable? on: April 07, 2015, 04:01:50 PM
Buying is still the best way to go, esp you dont want to have the hardware risk.

But, what needs to happen is building a service around mining would be better and still have a form of btc coming your way.
Which is what most people want in general.
1624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: April 07, 2015, 03:56:27 PM
Since the op is asking for specific providers, I figure theres already thread for this.

But, you should go with a asic provider, since they can also produce the asic machines if they choose to provide more out you know they can fulfill the order. Then just becoming a unknown operator or being a ponzi.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0

Go with spoondlies partner genesis mining, they accept credit cards. So you can actually chargeback if worse case scenario.
1625  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining Possibility on: April 07, 2015, 03:48:06 PM
Hopefully that site provided above me, has a successful beta testing cause I need that site as well.

Most users I think 90% are in need of that, esp since all this cloud mining crap been ruining the whole mining scene since more asic providers are wanting you to opt in on cloud mining services.

My only concern would be, what would be the difference between the cloud mining and that. Hopefully that site allows to sell back your shares of hash and get paid back immediately.
1626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: easy way that get me bitcoin on: April 07, 2015, 03:42:33 PM
A better way instead of going to a ponzi and risking it, would be checking the services section.

There are people who actually need help, from designs, writing posts, etc. Or doing signature designs for a campaign, which also is sometimes in the gambling section depending on the giveaway as more exposure.

But, you can always seem to find more work being asked in the services section.
1627  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My payments are stuck !!! on: April 07, 2015, 03:39:17 PM
Payments arent usually stuck, it just takes a really long time.

It also depends on the amount you are sent or being recieved. Just a tip anything higher then .1 btc you`ll see your btc no more then an hr. Its very rare for something to happen where its just sitting there.
1628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stocks with bitcoin on: April 07, 2015, 03:35:57 PM
Stocks with bitcoin will become a form of a ETF, unless companies like coinbase will go public and do a IPO which I doubt.

If a company stays private, they have more chances of getting more private money.

eg: VC funding $1.3 mill between 1 or 2 investors
1629  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Any Money to be Made in Hosting??? on: April 07, 2015, 03:33:33 PM
I think its worth it as long you do the comparison of cost, but you can usually offset the cost based on your service fee.

The question is, how are you supposed to migrate most users from their cloudmining accounts unless its just for everyone who only has hardware.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Did I just find a block?? on: April 07, 2015, 03:27:57 PM
I dont think any indiviual will get a miners block, its more likely the pool that you joined have found the block to get work done.

Also, just know that theres also accepted work and rejected work depending on your hash performance.

If I remember correct 1 block has 25 btc , forget also how the halving works.
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 06, 2015, 07:21:33 PM
So if you really want to save money, this is what you`ll be doing to add on op`s $8hr.

Renting currently? Forget that, why waste $500 depending on where you live? (move back into your parents place) then just focus on minimizing on bills over the phone or downgrading a plan.

1. Phone plan
2. Internet service

I lowered my internet service from $50 month > $14.99 a month (time warner) plans that that they dont promote you call in to ask for the lowest possible.

This is the same done on phone plans as well, my t-mobile line used to be $50, but now its $40.
1632  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 6 sp20's & 4 s3+ Models. on: April 06, 2015, 07:11:54 PM
So one 1 unit price for sp20 will be $450?

just curious wheres your location? are you in california by any chance? I been trying to buy one, but if the prices are the same as ebay, I might as well go there.
1633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Beginning of a reversal? on: April 06, 2015, 07:04:56 PM
all the thiefs have sold all their stolen bitcoins already so supply is starting to dwindle.

where does your source come from? link please?

most of reasons why they scam, is because they want to be in the game for "free" and hold. Not, just cashing it out all the time, why wouldnt they just ride it out? you cant say the supply will dwinlde only cause of this, you can actually look up where most coins are spent.

If you have the list of all these known persons btc address or did it each one, and locate on the spent then thats a different story.

1634  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next 24 days are critical on: April 06, 2015, 06:59:08 PM
24 days? you mean like 24 hrs every day right?

bitcoin goes up and down, unless you are trading in 1 hr time frame which means you are a intra-daytrader all this trendline support is just a hopeful guide. Also, why set it to 1 day? so that means you are a swing trader?
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Rush on: April 06, 2015, 06:54:49 PM
Theres that saying about the california gold rush.

You can sell gold miners pick axes, or choose to find gold. Guess which one got rich? Its obviously the people who produced the gold miners pick axes, probably bought gold when left over money as well.

Its better to know this, then just go buy a miner and expecting the same concept happen to you. Build a faucet, build something thats for profit so you dont need to predict when bitcoin prices will be up or not.

But, just make sure you dont end up being: Butter Fly Labs
1636  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is 2015 The Year? on: April 06, 2015, 06:43:24 PM
Quote
At some point when the new ETF and exchanges start opening up for business and as wealthy onlookers and hedge funds start coming on board...
When the pros come in, it's to take money out, not put money in. Always remember, Bitcoin is zero-sum.

If you've been in the game for half an hour and don't know who the patsy is, you're the patsy.

This quote is probably what most fear. But, reject it in our minds only because we all love to dream.

It is a zero sum game, based on who can inject money at anytime if they wished. Esp, people like ex jp morgan people makes tons of money, and making a secret mining company thats listed as a cucumber mining?

Search those words in the thread, and see what you find. It links back to a auction won on the silkroad coins etc which is a bit off-topic. But, this is just to give you a insight on whats going on.

These organizations create private facilities alone for the stock exchange, so they already been doing it with bitcoin.
1637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello Is there any genuine Bitcoin Multiplier ? on: April 06, 2015, 06:17:35 PM
If you head over to the gambling area, thats where most mutpliers are at, if you are in most peoples situation they end pouring money into hardware/cloud mining - legit asic provider.

So it depends on where you go, but just be aware a simple rule to follow: invest in what you can afford to lose.

Prepare for the worse situations, despite on the site being up for 1-2 years as an example.

Threads like this though, give you better idea of which ones to go for though. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=967149.0

When you scroll down on that thread, the op has listed paying ones still.
1638  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who provide service bitcoin signals, price predictions? on: April 06, 2015, 06:06:31 PM
The person above me recommends what I use all the time, which is bitcoinwisdom.

You can see the graph of the last 3 years ago, do your own TA (technical analysis), to verify what others are saying like coindesk. But, keep in mind though that despite with all the same information provided to everyone, no one can see / read the future.

So you can estimate all you want, but dont be predicting it`ll go up just cause someone on this forum is all hyped out about it.
1639  Economy / Speculation / Re: The next bubble could well surprise even the early traders... on: April 06, 2015, 05:56:06 PM
My gut tells me to go eat a breakfast burrito and drink my premium water from my swarvoski cup.

But hey, whatever your gut feeling is, its 100% correct. Cheesy Look no matter how you look at things, time is not on your side, so what I focus on is what can I do to prepare if the price does go up.

Am I doing the following:

1. Building a non traditional business / btc
2. Being aware that no one can control the future, but better being prepared is the key by focusing on other areas to support the 1st part above.

http://blogs.wsj.com/cio/2015/04/05/bny-mellon-explores-bitcoins-potential/

Wall Street was clearly waiting for regulation and the outlook is becoming much clearer.  The etf is something they feel they can work with.

This is what we are looking for esp the ETF. New money coming in from traditional global investors, will def increase the price.

IF it passes, and someone does create the ETF (insert rich person who forms it) then we probably see it jump overnight like the mt.gox situation. Then you got billionaires like warren buffet who doesnt know a damn thing, will still invest some small portion to test since its a traditional form of investment.
