1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big crash tomorrow! on: June 03, 2015, 07:28:39 PM
where can i buy popcorn with btc??

there isnt any popcorn, but you can enjoy the free show called "rally".

prices always go up and down, just do things that provide services around bitcoin so you can hedge somewhat.
1362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: June 03, 2015, 07:27:15 PM
Gavin's strength is his maturity and calm demeanor, imo.  he'll win if it comes down to a battle.

Nope.  Szatoshi will back Back and Maxwell.  The cypherpunks will stick together (or hang separately).

You should change your handle to 'FrappuccinoDoc.'   Grin

Bitcoin XT is a poison pill for all the newbs and unwary, certain bug fix commits that went into Core have already been omitted. Both Hearn and Andresen have been covertly anti-privacy from day zero, paying it only lip service when pressed. Don't trust it or them. Not to mention it is poorly maintained and totally untested. I can't believe I'm reading such a mad approach being championed on these pages ... it's like a twilight zone episode wtf are you people thinking !!! following Pied Pipers now?

I asked you once to support these serious allegations. Because you're calling Mike and Gavin liars otherwise.

You need to prove this now so that we can confirm or more likely dispense with you as a liar.

marcus, we're still waiting.

How do we get involved to improve the bitcoin xt?

Or is it like a invite only for now, for the core dev team?
1363  Economy / Economics / Re: Smoking gun of the world system? on: June 03, 2015, 07:23:15 PM
Well, I don't like all such conspiracy theories. There is no world coalition who rules the world. I would not say, that there isn't a group who tries to reach it, but the world is so complex and it needs so many actors that it is not possible.

Im no theory conspiration guy myself, but as someone pointed out, 12 families own most of the wealth in this world which is insane. Sure, Bitcoin is distributed in a similar fashion, couple guys im sure that own shittons of BTC, but the edge on fiat is, the BTC system cannot be modified, while they can create money out of thin air. The Bitcoin whales will never be able to modify the supply at their expense.

If anything, they could easily buy the entire bitcoin supply.

And they still would be okay, if the bitcoin failed on them. they own like more then 1 monopolies. They even named roads after them..
1364  Economy / Economics / Re: What to buy.. what to buy.. on: June 03, 2015, 07:20:20 PM
I`d buy those reits, everyone person needs to pay their mortgage right.

So just go based on whats more sensible to invest.
1365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Block Halving in 2016 - Boon or Bane for BTC price ?? on: June 03, 2015, 07:18:28 PM
It will jump for sure! But in which direction it's unsure...

For all you know it can be down to $100 and then jump back to $20 increase or something.

The best is to just buy it when its falling in small amounts.
1366  Economy / Economics / Re: Best website to give out loans? Btcjam or ? on: June 03, 2015, 07:10:59 PM
i signed up on BTCjam not long ago but was disappointed when i found out they didn't have too many people asking for a loan (only 100). So options are limited, especially if you'd like to diversify. I'm going to check out Bitlendingclub next.

Its better to just build rep here, or request a feasbile amount and paying back the loans.

Most of those sites have no punishments for scams. Like wanting 100 btc for a "xyz" project.
1367  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: June 03, 2015, 07:08:02 PM
suppose you sign in many faucet websites, stay online for approximately 15 hours a day for a week. raping the faucet cashout and captcha solving MANUALLY. no bots involved.

how much will you earn at the end of the week?

i have been trying to understand faucets. how much you can make out of faucets a week. every person will have a different answer since there over a dozen if not more faucet websites that you can earn.

taking into consideration that we are spending 15hours on btc and ltc faucets altogether for 7 days in a row.
The best thing for you to do is probably to go throu lists of faucets and check how ofthen they can be visited and test to see how much they pay on avg, those capcha solving sites that some people in poorer countrys work on probably pay something like 1$ per 1000 solved capcha so you should probably only do faucet sites where the avg return is better than that if you still have time over you can probably work for some capcha solving site for the rest of the time, if people for example on avg would solve a captcha in 10 sek then 15h a day should have a bottom income of 5.4$ a day or 37.8$ a week for the time spent on such work.

Or you can just go to your local clinic as sign up for clinical trials.

Pass, do some tests, and be a human guinee pig and get paid $1k then buy bitcoin lol.
1368  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Did Quickseller or marcotheminer frame ndnhc? If not, who did? on: June 03, 2015, 07:02:49 PM
Wow, when did this forum start doing conspiracy theories?

Op, what made you start all this in the first place, boredom? it makes no sense to attack someone based no facts..
1369  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: cloudminr.io no payout on: June 02, 2015, 10:21:31 PM
No idea what's going on. We've been paying out as usual.

Last payout was on April 26th for over 127 BTC. Everyone with a valid payout address, a balance of over 0.001 BTC and no automatic re-investments enabled was paid out.

Most of the complaints are because the users re-invest soon before the payout and then complain of no payouts. Which is logical as their account balance is below the minimum of 0.001 BTC.

Our payout address: https://blockchain.info/address/1CMR18ds3W4tz3MceN7wkm4NsaFW9jxvk9

Note: We have disabled the automatic auto-reinvesting for unattended accounts.

Why not in the FAQ , the minimum payout ?

Maybe they have bigger problems, although it only takes like 5 mins to update their site.

The other guy also mentioned about support, yet they reply on here on this thread..
1370  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT]: MICHAEL MORIARTY/moriartybitcoin/BitLaunder.com Stole $80K From Me on: June 02, 2015, 10:18:35 PM
thats really unfortunate events.

but i think the person isnt going to give the btc regardless if its the right thing to do, by now they made another account etc.
1371  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I no longer work for Butterfly Labs (BFL) on: June 02, 2015, 10:14:15 PM
But, what the hell happened with BFL, whats their judgment last time I check it was raided and SEC and all this commotion which was good for us, since most of us got screwed on pre-orders.

This is the thread to go to for that information (that Xian01 kindly supplies): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1022931.0

I am a huge fan of nibbknot. h/t to that fuckin' geniuss!

i just went to that thread, its intresting how they have the mining pool still up?

Like wtf? And they also launched a charity at the same time laying off people?
1372  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BFL fucked us over again (redux) on: June 02, 2015, 10:10:11 PM
im pretty sure the EMC pool is still in their ownership right?

I mean he made it seperate from the whole BFL crap, unless they owe so much money they need to do it.
1373  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling $100 Amazon GC on: June 02, 2015, 10:05:42 PM
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY!

I USED CRYTOTHRIFT AS ESCROW AND THIS IDIOT WANTED ME TO RELEASE ESCROW BEFORE SENDING THE CODE.  NOW I AM STUCK PAYING AN ESCROW FEE!

MOST LIKELY A SCAMMER!

Thats really unfortunate.

As for your remark on cryptothrift, op you should respond to his comment. Is there a reason why you expected him to release the btc 1st? cause thats scammerish behavior. Plus he needs to verify your balance anyways too.
1374  Economy / Speculation / Re: KNC moved all of their 9000+ BTC Today on: June 02, 2015, 10:02:48 PM
That 9000 btc though is harsh if they decide to sell.

And its something thats out of our control, I`d just be observe what they do in the next couple days cause its also a sign for price decline.
1375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who purchased at $1000 on: June 02, 2015, 09:54:25 PM
If they didnt sell when it was dropping, I think they dont see it for short term.

What they see is probably something else, and prob more into where it can go rather then price.
1376  Economy / Speculation / Re: What would be the BTC price next 48 hours? on: June 02, 2015, 09:49:51 PM
48 hrs is still a short time frame.

And when we been holding for $200ish for like 2 weeks now, not sure if its going down anytime soon.
1377  Economy / Economics / Re: BitFuturist: what are 10 things true in 10 years pertaining to BTC? on: June 02, 2015, 09:46:50 PM
I know the most recent would, eventually once we fix our 1 mb transaction issue to 20 mb.

I`m pretty sure we`ll have to increase the 20 mb, if more users come out of anywhere within that time.
1378  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CloudThink.IO removed management pictures after being caught with stealing on: June 02, 2015, 09:44:34 PM
soo our clouthink friends loves social network and fiverr jobs. here we go:

twitter joined April 2015 (4332 "followers")

youtube joined 20 April 2015 (49 "subs")

their first video from 20/4

second one from 20/4

4.7k views
505 likes

seems legit.)))

Nothing but a quick fix right lol.

$5 gigs to pay and expect thousands of social manipulation, only to find it stops there. Like 4 views, like really?

And real followers would be commenting the video like crazy.
1379  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Bitcoin actually just a Pump and Dump? on: June 02, 2015, 09:41:01 PM
so in the end we will just have a standard altcoin like the one in the altcoin section, but made instead from banks, which are worse than a malicious dev

i could see all the shit in the altsection re-made from banks authority(pos, ico, iipo ecc...)

Goldman sachs coin or JP Morgan coin?  Grin That would be funny really.

I can just put my head around how interesting that one would be.

There is nothing new under the moon. You can turn your head to history, that is, to what is called Free Banking Era, the period from 1837 to 1864 in the US when banks were not subject to special regulations and issued their own paper currency ("JP Morgan coin"). It is noteworthy that an average lifespan of a bank back then was about five years...

You pretend to be an economist, and I am utterly curious what university you graduated from

Why would they even to start to do that.

Makes no sense, fiat is whats been making them rich as hell, and the fastest dead currency coming soon near you, but they own almost everything.
1380  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 02, 2015, 09:34:26 PM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

Well the way bitcoin price index is moving I don't think you would want to retire with BTC in 20 years. But hope the mrket price pulls up and 100 BTC is enough for your comfortable living.

Its more like find a job asap or you should of have had one while investing in bitcoin, until it goes crazy valuations.

Until then, its barely enough to buy groceries.
