1323  Economy / Economics / Re: The Switzerland of Bitcoin on: June 10, 2015, 09:40:37 PM
The most countries that need it are the ones are people with most financial restrictions or developing countries.

I`d choose india, and has a mass population that hasnt even touched enough yet.
1324  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 10, 2015, 09:35:43 PM
Depending how much you spend right in your retired years.

Id probably want 50 btc if not more lol. Cause more never hurts, if anything it just makes you able to do more things.

But, I`d probably retire and get so bored after the 1st year that id launch projects or something.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Will a bank being hacked boost adoption of bitcoin? on: June 10, 2015, 09:34:03 PM
When banks are hacked and depositors looses money, banks pay them back with the profits they make. It has no effect on bitcoin. If banks go bankrupt, then it will raise Bitcoin awareness, but it's doesn't happen too often. Bitcoin doesn't need these financial crisis to succeed. In a few more years, more people will use Bitcoin simply because it is the easiest and faster way to transfer money across the world.

We need something like back in 2008 crisis to happen all over again.

To re-awake people with their financial options are pretty much.
1326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin stability on: June 10, 2015, 09:32:55 PM
1 bitcoin week ~= 1 dollar year

Bitcoin's June bubble matches pretty well with NASDAQ '99-'04 at roughly 1:75 scaling.

Since June, bitcoins have depreciated about 10% each week, while dollar prices (including food and energy) inflate about that much annually.

IF that value is correct, then 1 dollar a year, wouldnt everyone just dump it then.

It makes no sense to hold 1 bitcoin a weeek that equals to a $1 a year.. even a person on food stamps is making more.
1327  Economy / Speculation / Re: KncMiner XBT: 615 BTC traded at 230$ ! on: June 10, 2015, 09:30:00 PM
I really dont understand why KNC held so many coins.

Then all of a sudden launch their own exchange, and have a selling spree..
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let the dumping begin... on: June 10, 2015, 09:27:41 PM
The price has been $200ish firm, I dont think people will.

And if they do its their own personal reasons, like if they needed the money bad or something, but not the overall holders.
1329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Is Mass Bitcoin Adoption Still Not Happening? on: June 10, 2015, 09:26:24 PM
its more like a sprinkler on a lawn.

eventually the lawn will get flooded, but during that time it took 2 hrs for us it feels the same way.
1330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Block Halving in 2016 - Boon or Bane for BTC price ?? on: June 10, 2015, 09:24:14 PM
just like anything, theres always going to be a supply and demand.

but when the supply becomes limited, the demand will pay for whatever is worth. Its why people buy $800 iphones when they 1st come out, when it only costed them $200.
1331  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the Chinese Yuan supersede the US Dollar in the future? on: June 10, 2015, 09:16:50 PM
In the future as a world reserve currency, maybe.

But, the dollar has been marketed to other nations for a long time, so its a bit harder for them to even look it as a reserve currency. But intially china does want to make that move.
1332  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: how much can you make weekly? on: June 10, 2015, 09:15:06 PM
Speaking from experience u can make roughly 1 to 1.5 mil satoshi. I did a week exexperiment. Doing all the best faucets roughly 8 to 12 hours a day. It was fun for a week thats about all i can say lol

yeah, but who wants to spend 8 to 12 hrs a day clicking captchas or filling them in.

Unless you are consistently doing this, and eventually have people to replace you its pointless.
1333  Economy / Speculation / Re: [prediction] Next spike $560,000 14 months from now on: June 10, 2015, 09:10:08 PM
I find it encouraging that the number of transactions has continued to grow exponentially, despite the price decline since the ATH.

As long as there is underlying network growth bitcoin's utility will increase, and so, ultimately, will its value.

Yeah, but its a matter of when right.

So I think most people who are selling their coins are jus too impatient in general cause they feel it`ll come in another 6 years or something for a price change.
1334  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Samsung Galaxy Note 2, White, FACTORY UNLOCKED! on: June 10, 2015, 09:02:56 PM
wait how much are you asking?

I need a unlocked phone, cause my iphone 4 starting to crash for no reason.
he wrote in the first post that he wants to get 210 if you live outside usa, also cant you just do factory recovery for your iphone?

oh, it seems i skipped over it. yeah, I plan on doing that, but I just want a upgrade, but I might actually reconsider cause I saw an iphone5 go for $240 and just get that.
1335  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ Cloudmining 101 (ponzi risk assessment) ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁ on: June 10, 2015, 08:59:11 PM
that one site cloudminr.io  has been going for awhile now.

how would one assume it`ll collapse soon, cause all the customers been getting paid always, and its been 6 months minimum.
1336  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: www.BitcoinCloudServices.com Scammed me! on: June 10, 2015, 08:57:27 PM
It happens to the best of us.

Some are obvious, some are not. Just learn from your mistake, and hope the best next time right?

But, some legit services are in the service section.
1337  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Cloud Mining Really a Ponzi Scheme? on: June 10, 2015, 08:44:30 PM
Why would a cloud mining service not just mine themselves and keep bitcoins?  Answer:  they make more contracting to suckers.

I agree, waiting for 6months ROI is just a bother.. you don't know whats the price of BTC in that time

Well thats why its a risk right lol.

Anything you invest has some levels of risk, just have to know how to off-set it. I wouldnt really bother cause 6 months is really a long time.
1338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the blockchain become Too Big to Fail? on: June 10, 2015, 08:42:47 PM
The US government do not care about bitcoin. Bitcoin can fail tomorrow and no governement will lift a finger to help. They will just say "I have warned you about Bitcoin and you didn't listen!"

There may be large investors involved, the Bitcoin community is still small and has no political power in any government. Governments are not threatened by a loss of votes or support if Bitcoin fails.

Well some governor was using bitcoin to raise his campaign, I forget his name.

But I actually saw it on reddits page, so people are considering it in some political sense, but thats about it.
1339  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin solo mining with cpu on: June 10, 2015, 08:39:30 PM
At this point in any persons bitcoin mining operation is going to cost some good amounts of money.

And thats if youre okay with also if the price does fall or not. I`d just buy more into the legit cloud mining services out there that accept credit cards so you can also protect if something does go bad.
