1241  Economy / Economics / Re: If Greece defaults on: June 30, 2015, 01:18:45 AM
Actually ours in the point of view Greece has technically defaulted by applying for an extension. Greece's economic reforms aren't very effective but I believe Greece will not default. They will repay however much they had and apply for another extension or issue new loans for the remaining debt. Eurozone will be lenient on them to avoid calamity. Bitcoin is not going to be a safe heaven for the Greeks. They already hold Euros and it is still a stable currency compared to Bitcoin. Greece peoples barely surviving and day by day them economy falling down too  so they definitely default...

Okay, what makes you think greece wont default? lol.

They been defaulting for quite some time, and they been in the hold forever so whats the sudden change that will make them different?
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 30, 2015, 01:15:55 AM
Don't save money, you think you're making money off of interest but you're really not. Invest in stocks right now, it's pretty hot. Cryptocurrencies would be my second choice, but btc no. Btc is a little too unpredictable right now, I've seen currencies which have higher potential and value.

Of course this depends on the stock youre investing right.. cause what if someone invests, but they did it in pennystocks.

Still a stock right? but most of them go pump and dump, so not all stocks and this also includes blue chips as well.

also to add on, due to many daytraders still out there and growing, its not really recommended to hold a certain stock for a long time.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 30, 2015, 01:12:44 AM
Actually its true someone told this is completely depending on won personality how you are and what is your dreams for in future this absolutely your personal asbhow you want but I want to spend my retired days with luxury thats why i am investing my present time to earn good bitcoins and 2 bitcoins is not enough for me ! i think i need  more than 1k  bitcoin in my account then my all dreams become true and its should be too and I am waiting for be enjoying...

Obviously 2 bitcoins isnt enough for anyone. But, 1k bitcoin is actually more then the average joe, and it depends on the value at that point.

if the value was 1,000 thats minimum 200k.

The rates going at current value of today. 200k is what most will never save up in their life time.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens to Bitcoin when free energy is available? on: June 30, 2015, 01:05:53 AM
Free energy ? what the fuck ? get that crazy talk out of your head...

that's not going to happen (probably never ever), and if it did i don't think that will be in my lifetime or the next.

Energy is a resource, and someone somewhere will try to monetize it for profit, whether the cost of production is high, low, or even free (nothing is free regardless). So it is impossible.

I think if anything he means like a discounted rate of energy use then free.

Nothing is free like you mentioned, so Imma assume he meant like energy savers that still allows mining like possible with solar maybe.
1245  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in - is it even worth it? on: June 30, 2015, 01:03:29 AM
I wouldnt really recommend it unless you take advantage of the referral system they have.

but that means you need like 1,000 to make like 1 btc if everyone active. Its super hard to have active users.
1246  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM WEBSITE - BitMedia.io on: June 30, 2015, 01:01:54 AM
It sucks you got scammed, and I wont follow to read all your links and threads.

But I would say isnt this karma? I checked your own rep, and it mentions that you scammed someone too..  Huh

Are you talking to me, then please quote me. And show me where i did that!! I`m tired of people taking out claims out of their asses backing it up with no evidence whatsoever.

bitmedia.io will always act in the best interest of their advertisers, NOT their publishers – this is bitmedia's key income source.  What this means is, if they have any doubt that you’re not good for their advertisers, they won’t hesitate to get rid of you – even if it doesn’t make sense.  You can’t blame them for trying to protect their business.

I was your advertiser not your publisher, because i got banned from publishing for nothing. Where does that fit in "best interest"... i got the worst interest possible

I think hes referring to the op of this thread not you lol.

From the looks of what hes mentioning is the reputation on the thread starter being a negative.
1247  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Paypal chargeback, for the third time on: June 30, 2015, 12:58:59 AM
Paypal indeed sucks.

But just want to point out that candystripes buy a shit ton of alt accounts when he can, to do more of this crap. It sucks cause most people know hes a scammer and begged on primedice I see all the time.
1248  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin eBay auctions on: June 30, 2015, 12:55:09 AM
I wouldnt recommend any ebay purchases.

theres some incidents where most people buy specific miners, and they end up getting a usb stick instead w. a delivery confirmation.

Which forces more stress to call in ebay rep for dispute, and if you dont have enough proof you lose or the case closes.

eg: You were promised 2 units, instead you only got 1
1249  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $215 Starbucks card for $100 on: June 30, 2015, 12:52:46 AM
any chance to use escrow, plus also more proof.

proof like where you got it from a legit source? or break it off in smaller amounts at a time?
1250  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 30, 2015, 12:50:18 AM
How to get rich from bitcoin:
Announce development of a new ASIChip. Accept pre-orders with payment. Cheesy just joke

buy 100 Btc or more and Hold for 10 years or more Wink
Just buying 100 btc and holding for 10 years won't make him rich. What makes you think that the price of bitcoin is going to be soo high that just 100 btc will make him rich?
Instead of making him rich it might make him $25000 more poorer.

Events are always debatable, cause like what we see in greece right now their banks are closed off and western union also closed.

which limits people and more demand to go buy out bitcoin to move money around. But, yeah intially youre right theres not many events to keep price at a constant upward trend unless something happens.
1251  Economy / Economics / Re: A currency or investment? on: June 30, 2015, 12:46:03 AM
Well actually bitcion means to be money and is the meida of exchanging goods or services. Because bitcoin has much potential so ppl may hoard it for the future. But most of the coins shouldn't be hoarded there. There is no or little transaction fees collected by the miners. Miners might not be satisfied with that situation, specially after the mining reward halving, and leave the mining industry,  which is hurting the bitcoin's network. The price cannot be increasing infinitely. Hopefully the bitcoin's price will be stable and the ecosystem has some balance, as the adoption rate increases and the halving aproaches as well as...

I`m actually opposite of what youre writing about here.

You mention lots of people are hoarding it, I`m more of selling it at a certain price point, once it gets to $300 minimum solid then buy back in when it falls.

I only see bitcoin as a blackmarket at this present time and money laundering.. I can be wrong but whatevers.
1252  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: June 24, 2015, 12:39:23 AM
anyone can rate  a bull shit rate. and justify their reason.

i would probably win 90% of the argument alone based on if the quality campaigns available, and primedice used to be a good enough reason to not pay premium.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Mining mogul FriedCat has stolen more than a million in AM hash SCAM on: June 24, 2015, 12:37:15 AM
well he has to surface to another bitcoin mining company right?

i mean look at the other people who fled, they hoped on to some other services in the bitcoin network.
1254  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My account on Payza got restricted, could I be scammed ? Need your help please. on: June 24, 2015, 12:31:31 AM
what I dont get is didnt payze allowed to have bitcoin transactions.

payza is a retarded service in general though, cause I been seeing similar complaints with bs holdings of funds.
1255  Economy / Speculation / Re: What does it take for Bitcoin to go 100X? on: June 24, 2015, 12:28:57 AM
People have to treat bitcoin as a store of value. So they don't have to buy overpriced houses/art to diversify their wealth away from bonds and wallstreet.

Well said. The nonexistence of good money is why people buy houses they don't really need.

Its natural to have what most others cant have.

Its why a normal watch can sell for $300-5,000 right? Its basically lifestyle thing.. and being that person to say Im better then you in a short statement. Also its a cycle, since most cant get it opposite sex are more lingered to what they cant have as well.
1256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: June 24, 2015, 12:27:06 AM
Yes,definitly yes only i dont know what dollar will be worth that time
i ve been reading article today, one btc developer want increase btc supply beyond 21 mln
What do you think about it

you mean the 21 mill supply produced?

if we re-raise it and thats if someone did mess with the hard wired coin to be produced, wouldnt that lower the value.
1257  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you expect from the halving in 2016? on: June 24, 2015, 12:25:26 AM
What I expect from halving: $250 / 2 = $125

Isnt the price been holding $250 steady for entire month.

I dont it`ll split to $125.. though. I know its been on a decline but still..
1258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will banks using bloackchain affect Bitcoin price? on: June 24, 2015, 12:23:56 AM
yeah, the day this happens its because most people are already using bitcoin.

so i say dont worry if the bank affect price, worry about if theres any new users we can introduce the coin.
1259  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to turn 2BTC into 4BTC on: June 24, 2015, 12:19:58 AM
Another way is buying low selling high, here is risky too but to double your bitcoin this is a way.

its harder to know when bitcoin has a low price at a certain point.

most buy and sell are harder the most people anticipate to do. I dont recommend it, id just stick to holding 2 btc cause thats a gamble as it is to know where future value goes.
1260  Economy / Economics / Re: 62% of New Millionaires come from Asia on: June 24, 2015, 12:17:53 AM
Well 62% sounds about right.

I have a friend here in california whos parents keep on buying houses in the alhambra area where most chinese are at, and I asked him what they do?

Parents own multiple factories and dealerships in asia.
