Hi. I am looking to buy 1 BTC using paypal. Would like to trade with people who have reputation on the forum as I do not want to be scammed. Thank You.
You'll need reputation for that, not your counterparty.

John I don't think this has made it into the spreadsheet yet, my total should now be 26 chips. Thanks! It's already in since posted that update - I've even highlighted it in red for you now. PS: Turned off highlighting to prevent confusion by others.

Market it like those coupons where you get as rebates for your purchases. Maybe ' Get Approximately $13 back for your purchase with this Bitcoin coupon redeemable for cash!' to get them interested?

I'm sure te info is hidden here somewhere - how does shipping to me work and from where is it done?
You'll get an update from OP when this is done, asking for your address and stuff. Of course shipping costs from OP to you is calculated differently and needs to be paid later.

I will put a link of this URL to my web ASIC site now ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Do you have any logo, banner or what? Updated: check now! Alright, we need a bigger push to get these chips in.
I want to ask two things:
(1) OP - can you put your personal stake in? I know you are waiting on partners but everyone will rest easier when your money is up.
(2) Ataxx seems like a nice guy, but he's very new on this forum. We need to start closing out the remaining 200 BTC of stake.
That said, I propose we work to close out the outstanding 198 BTC through any purchaser available.
I will have an agreement for everyone to vote for or against for a deadline for the escrow tonight, so make sure to sign in later!
Remember, the deadline is to protect your bitcoins so that you can put your money down now with a guarantee that you will get it back should these 200 BTC not materialize at least 24 hours before the ship date for Avalon's large order in Germany. This is to create options for people who bought in in good faith that this would materialize quickly, and as such the deadline will create safety for those still wishing to contribute.
Sent my original pledge (without my friends) https://blockchain.info/tx/958472b565b5d19236383dd60bc499eda04351e8212532b4d04d5d8b306a47ddPlease confirm JohnK. P.S I did not include any fees yet. I will do that when more BTC comes in from MTGOX! Sent raw 17BTC for now! I hope this will alleviate some stress / pressure / anxiety for some people UPDATE!
Alright guys. I think I can move towards the next step in my little business plan as far as working with the local engineers in my state. I decided to purchase domains for my small start up group! Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FBJrY3Vf.png&t=663&c=A9QA6D9YqlKw9Q) (30 second paint job) http://neo-asics.com/ will currently point to the updated spreadsheet I will keep you guys updated on what we plan on doing as far as assembling these machines. After talking to my team we are confident that we can put together a machine using Avalon ASICs chips. But only time can tell until we can put together concrete evidence. We are just doing a lot of research right now but the enthusiasm is really high! If you are interested in having machines made using your chips send me a PM! This will be a first come first serve basis. As for pricing we will be asking for parts + labor. Pricing at this point is unknown but you can base it some what on: https://www.dropbox.com/s/45698vk7bpvbdkp/BOM.xls - from the DIY thread. Obviously you can opt out anytime you want this is just so I can see who is interested in something like this! P.S I need a photoshop guru to design my logo hehe Thanks again! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

No update yesterday?
The hashrates are climbing quickly as we speak here - it's 7,705.90 GH/s currently. Friedcat is indeed adding in new hashrates fast! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I'll take that over an update any day. Yeah - official update page: https://www.btcguild.com//index.php?page=rankings ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) We're seeing an 200~GH/s increase PER DAY since a couple days ago. correct me if my math is wrong here. that's what, 20 blades onlining daily? Yep. He's probably trying to get a bigger place to deploy all his blades though, thus the delay in deploying.

Looks like Ataxx's pledge will kick us over the limit. Ataxx? Wanna weigh in?
He'll be mopping up anything left. He is doing a cash in person transaction for around 200BTC AFAIK - he'll be left with less than 100BTC now for the pledges. So what's all this talk of returning btc? If Ataxx is mopping up what's left, then we're already at the goal, and just letting stragglers get in, right? Or are the return discussions assuming Ataxx doesn't come through? Some participants want to set a deadline for the order to be sent in or a return of funds. Ataxx has stated that the latest for him is Wed, but most probably earlier as he's doing a P2P buy. (possibly today or tomorrow)

As it's apparent ASICs are coming/here, I also want to get in, but unlike most rich people, and I mean rich about people whose standards are that 10k is cheap, normal and can be gotten within 2-3 months of work or whatever.
With all due respect, you have no idea who is rich and who is not. Nor do you know what priorities/sacrifices people will make to buy the higher priced hardware. Haven't we all heard enough childish whining about "only rich people can mine now"? Your choices are very simple. Buy an ASIC or don't buy an ASIC. How much you or can or are willing spend is completely independent of how rich you are. I've been eating stale bread for months to get my shiny ASIC. PS: Just joking, but you get the idea of what people sacrifice for something you think they took for granted.

Also, please post/PM your claims ASAP after sending in your funds. I'm going to charge a PITA fee to the next guy who sends funds without declaring it as I don't want to go through the thread and blockchain for another hour again. ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif)

Ragin.... Can you tell us if there will be any issue in terms of taxes / customs on your end to receive the chips?
Forwarded that to him. PS: We have an unclaimed 5.16BTC tx (found after a ton of PITA going through all tx's and confirmations here) - anyone who wants to claim that will have to sign a message with the input address now. I'm still thinking of what to do with it if anyone does not claim though. Hmmm just hold it for now I guess keep broadcasting till someone responds. Tough one that... might have to just go into the pot and raffle off the chips? No idea though. I am excluding the funds as chips for the moment as I don't know what to do with this. If a refund is needed (if the pot is not filled by the deadline), it might go towards the fees I guess. Trust your judgement... It is your call as the Escrow Agent. I think separate and hold till refund for now good call. If Ataxx gets in he can bump that BTC out and I guess you will be left with it... I suspect the rule might be 30 days to claim it? Yes, the claim period might be around 30 days or else - but this is all speculation talk atm as the owner might wake and claim his funds later anyway.

PS: The shipping from Avalon to OP is calculated at 0.035BTC per person regardless of how many chips you order for simplicity. He'll be footing the rest if needed according to him.
The transaction is under way, for your information, the transaction ID is: 033026900d3fd30672e8b270b76c1aacde62a04d09d2e8b0e8969a350daf66d3 Trigger pulled. Thanks JohnK. Updated.
