1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After Liberty Reserve Got Shutdown and Seized. CeN'S take actions against BTC on: May 29, 2013, 10:36:05 AM
I don't think that's a list of places that are about to be shut down...
We have been noticed recently against the Liberty reserve actions that take with his founders caught in Madrid yesterday in the Baraja's Airport.

After the Legal Press made in USA why they did this. Today We have noticed about this:

This is a site where u can see the "orders" from the National Cen Agency, which is in charge of Seize Domains, for "prevent" laundering money or cybercrimes acts.

As u can see, a lot of Exchangers of BTC are in process to be "seized" and investigated by the United States Department of Treasury.

Will be the end of the "Exchangers of BTC" ?

Why USA its acting against it? They Take down (Liberty Reserve) and now they are trying to kick BTC exchangers. Maybe they are mad, because a lot of money its getting off from banks, and going to this "Freedoms payment processors?

We'll see how this will end

This is just a list of exchanges registered with fincen isn't it? What makes you think they are about to be shut down?

Yeah, if don't find them in the FinCEN list then they're probably on the way of being shut down... The current list is just showing that they're fully compliant with FinCEN obligations.
1323  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Batch2 - Avalon Chips - Escrow by John K. (Europe / RO) + PCB on: May 29, 2013, 10:26:41 AM
Perhaps this was asked before, but I'll ask anyway. t13hydra, do you get regular status updates of the batch you ordered?
If so, could you share those with us? That could keep this thread entertaining till the end of July/early August.   Roll Eyes

You asked the wrong person here - I'm the one holding the account there. There's no regular status of the sort - the order simply turns from Pending ->processing -> Chips ordered. We're at processing now. Smiley
1324  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Batch2 - Avalon Chips - Escrow by John K. (Europe / RO) + PCB on: May 29, 2013, 09:53:36 AM
The second batch is not really filling up, I want to get another 16 chips but I am not sure what to do now.

Maybe someone from Batch 1 wants to sell me their 32 chips Smiley?

FFMG

It'll fill up quickly once it passes the 100~ mark, and accelerate till the end.  Wink

Who should I talk to about getting the spreadsheet changed/my name put on it?
I'd also like to get my name put on the chips i bought from atcsecure and dserrano5
I would also like my name added by replacing rallye's since I bought all them from him.

Not to be too impatient but no response on this yet. I sent a PM to both raging and John with no response and I'm not one to spam their inboxes.

Can I at least get a quick one line post in the thread confirming that I wont get lost in the paperwork even if the spreadsheet isn't updated? Something?

If btc is the issue I am happy to pay to get this all squared away...but I'm not just going to blindly start tipping when this is the only experience I've had with either of you and I can't get a response anywhere.

PS: As I said above, only ragingazn controls the updated spreadsheet now. I think I've replied to you regarding this, right?  Huh

1334  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer grnlightnet / MoneyPakForBitcoins.Com on: May 29, 2013, 05:33:37 AM
What the fuck is this bullshit?  This site blatantly stole money from anyone who tried to buy a MoneyPak.

The scammer who started it never even responded to defend himself.

Does anyone even actually get a fucking scammer tag from this stupid fucking forum, or are they just allowed to scam and scam again?

Why the fuck does this guy not have a fucking scammer tag?

Oh, and remember that the forum admins are not the nannies here. There's simply so much scams everywhere that the scammer tag usually comes late.

It's the same in the IRL - always caveat emptor.
1335  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer grnlightnet / MoneyPakForBitcoins.Com on: May 29, 2013, 05:32:26 AM
I gave him a negative rating, but as for the scammer tag that'll need to wait for theymos to see this.

Sigh... somehow or rather, the recent events are making it hard for Malaysians to obtain bitcoins. First, Liberty Reserve got shut down & it was one of the easiest way to fund Mt.Gox. Forget Dwolla since they're only available in the US.

Then today I just received an email from PayPal saying that they're removing the personal payment function for Malaysian accounts. This spells the end of the days where I can just simply hop onto bitcoin-otc & trade my PPUSD for BTC. Sad

@ninjaboon: You've heard this in our Whatsapp group where I ranted about it. Sad

P.S. And oh, Mt.Gox just released a press statement. Apparently OKPay will stop doing transactions to & from bitcoin exchanges. *facepalm*

Dang, and I was thinking of using PayPal for my monthly BTC purchase.  Undecided

personal payment function? how does it works?

hmm, time for LiqPay i guess.

and btw, can add me to the whatsapp group? Tongue

There's such a group?  Grin Any new openings? I might want to buy/sell bitcoins here in Malaysia, for local bank transfer if possible.

Me. I'm sick of those alts which pop up for a month or two, and gradually dies out. It's a waste of forum space.  Sad
