You can have as many accounts as you want, even as a single person. The only time IP address might matter is if one of the accounts gets banned (pretty hard to do) or scams someone (would have to be done on purpose). Even then, if we can tell that they are different people, they will not be effected.
If you want, we can also whitelist your brother's account with a vouch from you. Just PM one of the staff members that are online (if the request is high priority) or post in the whitelist request thread (if the request is low priority).
+1. Tell him he's welcome here.

It consists of 11 FPGA's at around 840 MH/s each, connected to the pool via a single stratum proxy. Hmm... I changed the diff to 4, and the numbers seem correct again. My 24 H speed and 24 H earned seems way off though... Wait for 24 hours to see how the change impacts performance long-term. In the meantime, the 60-minute shares should give a fair indication if the change helped. EDIT: I would treat each board as a separate miner, follow this table Worker's speed Difficulty <500 Mhash/s 1 500- 1000Mhash/s 2 1000-2000Mhash/s 4 2000-4000Mhash/s 8 4000-10000Mhash/s 16 10000-40000Mhash/s 32 >40000Mhash/s 64 and would keep the difficulty at 2, even though they are all behind the same proxy. Work shares get distributed between the boards, and it might be so that they do not manage to process higher-difficulty shares in time, turning up a large number of invalids... It is my guess, though. It would be nice if a pool admin elaborated on share difficulty in multi-card/multi-board scenarios. I ran them nicely now at 4. Wasn't sure if that's the solution here, but it's working anyway. Thanks!

I know, I know. I get my mails pushed to my phone directly so PM'ing me is a better bet. It's just that I'm making fun of the use of 'rep threads' where each tx must be posted publicly so that the OP gets some sort of rep. I've had people asking me about the location of my 'rep thread'. Yeah, I generally disregard "rep threads". As far as I'm concerned, there's a lot more to a reputation than a list of transactions one maintains for themselves that they can point to and say "see, I didn't scam this list of people". Agreed.

bump
Thanks. Well, That's a really tough question. I'm still thinking on that issue. *places rep thread here* Oh noes I don't have a rep thread. Best offer so far is 6 BTC, if there's more around this point please PM me especially if you're buying more. I have 10 in total.

Probably blockchain.info for trivial amounts, and Armory for everything else.

Sigh... somehow or rather, the recent events are making it hard for Malaysians to obtain bitcoins. First, Liberty Reserve got shut down & it was one of the easiest way to fund Mt.Gox. Forget Dwolla since they're only available in the US. Then today I just received an email from PayPal saying that they're removing the personal payment function for Malaysian accounts. This spells the end of the days where I can just simply hop onto bitcoin-otc & trade my PPUSD for BTC. @ninjaboon: You've heard this in our Whatsapp group where I ranted about it. P.S. And oh, Mt.Gox just released a press statement. Apparently OKPay will stop doing transactions to & from bitcoin exchanges. *facepalm* Dang, and I was thinking of using PayPal for my monthly BTC purchase.

Keep the offers coming. Isn't there like a bump rule or something =p Oops, forgot about that. Thanks again for reminding me. I can escrow for John, pretty sure he is a scammer mermaid.
|
|
|
Edit: I still accept offers for them, especially if you're taking multiple boards. Offer away - I won't bite.

Hmm... there's one guy here sporting a dog pic who does escrow at 1.5% AFAIK. I'll tell him to issue escrow contracts here, but note that the escrow fee is up to the buyer!

Uh, I have a few more than 4. *John searches for the 'Report to moderator button* That said, I bought the spacers that was specifically made for stacking cards at a local electronics shop.

G. Loss caused by or resulting from use of the Covered Property in a manner for which it was not designed or intended by the manufacturer. Loss caused by or resulting from failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation, operation or maintenance instructions. I get this quoted a lot when I make claims for my electronics. It basically means anything under the sun that destroys the electronics.

下个月可以发货吗?如果可以,我也买一些。
那要问Avalon了.

I'm possibly interested in selling a few ZTEX 1.15y-like boards (100% Ztex 1.15y hardware and software compatible) as I'm probably relocating in the coming months. It's a shame having to sell them as I just got them not long ago. They mine stably at around 820-880MH/s depending on the cooling - I've been getting them mine nicely at about 840 each stacked together in the hot tropical weather here with a good fan pointed at them. I'm looking around 7 6 - last few boards BTC per board with everything (new fans, heatsink, USB cable that's confirmed working with it, the electrical connector and the hex spacers required to stack them) included to start your own mining. Please PM me if you're interested, and confirm your location so that I can calculate the shipping. I'm open to haggling though, so just PM me to ask. PS: I will GPG sign my payment addresses like what I do for my escrows. Thanks, John Edit: I still accept offers for them, especially if you're taking multiple boards. Offer away - I won't bite.

I ran my 9~ GH/s farm at 8 diff. I'll try modifying it to 4 and see later then. Does your farm consist of 1 unit á 9GH/s or 18 units (cards) á 500MH/s? One of my machines has 2x7970 churning out 1.3GH/s, yet I still treat it as 2 units, producing ~600MH/s + ~700MH/s, assigned to two different workers on the pool, each set to diff. 1 shares. I now restarted cgminer, associated with that card which started to spike with invalids (cgminer also reported an increasing number of R's), and it is back to normal - the increase stopped. I guess I will slightly reduce the restartEvery setting in my Bitcoin Miners in Tray front-end so that restarts and therefore refreshes of the miners' states would occur more often. Can you please share your settings you are using? Are you using a backup pool or anything of thiers? Also what port just 3333?
I use cgminer with a front-end of my own writing. The settings are (this machine has 6670 + 7970, and this setting is for device 0): -T -l 2 -I d,9 -d 0 --gpu-engine 920,1150 --gpu-memclock 925,1375 --gpu-fan 50,84 -o http://pool.50btc.com:3333 -u username_machine6670 -p password -o http://pool80.50btc.com -u username_machine6670 -p password -o http://eu.ozco.in:3333 -u username.machine6670 -p password It consists of 11 FPGA's at around 840 MH/s each, connected to the pool via a single stratum proxy. Hmm... I changed the diff to 4, and the numbers seem correct again. My 24 H speed and 24 H earned seems way off though...
