2226  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] altcoins market data - order book and ticker snapshots on: January 30, 2016, 08:07:53 PM
Hi,

I have huge amount of data such as tickers, order books snapshots from three main altcoin exchanges.

If anyone interested to buy it please let me know here or by PM.
What is the use of the order book of some altcoin exchanges, it's like a ledger history but what is the use of it, I'm curious!

You may analyse it and make some predictions based on moves in orderbook. With those data you can analyse orderbook's "behaviour".
When i trade i don't check in detail the orderbook, i just look at the chart of the coin and read in forum what is happening with that coin, is there any issue with the exchanges about releasing the coins etc, but your order book snapshots maybe for 'specialist' will be very useful.
2227  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: OVERVIEW: BITCOIN HARDWARE WALLETS █████████████████ Secure your Coins on: January 30, 2016, 08:01:10 PM

Just read the whole Interview and i think that i knew most of the things before, I'm collecting to buy one as i think it is the most secured hardware wallet at the moment, but the cons is the high price.

2229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 30, 2016, 07:38:00 PM
There's a consistent theme that I see popping up on here that I find rather fascinating, and that is the way that many posters perceive BTC.

What do I mean? People doing things with BTC that they'd never, ever dream of doing with their dollars - gambling as an 'investment', or gambling at all, pouring coins into bullshit investment schemes run by totally anonymous showers of shit, lending on here to shambolic morons, asking the question 'where do I get free coins?'

Considering how much of a pain up the arse it can be to obtain coins and keep them safe and their future potential, I find it bizarre that there's such an extreme disconnect. I would've thought it should be at the opposite end of the scale but that's clearly not the case for many.

Why do you think this attitude has developed and where do you stand yourself?
Yeah i consider bitcoin as a real money because it has changed many people's life and you can buy mostly anything with bitcoin, and i consider it as a 'real asset'.
2230  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex deposit not credited to account on: January 30, 2016, 07:32:33 PM
I have a ticket open with poloniex about this.  Their first response was, the deposit went through.
OK, it shows up in deposit history.
It has not been credited to my balance, however.
I asked again, on the same ticket, what happened?
No response.
Poloniex, get it together.  This is not good.
Ask in the troll box if there is any moderator available which could help you, btw what have you deposited there?
2231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Art of Trading BTC to ALT Coins-Share your Experience for Noob on: January 30, 2016, 07:20:30 PM
Hi

As All we know that trading is the best way to make and earn extra income of BTC , But many of noob enter this world without experience !!
So i will start by my self .
i don't have much experience to share but here is mine :

- i use bittrex for trading bitcoin to alt coin -(Better to use only trusted exchange with a huge no of sellers\buyers )
- I always look at the thread of the coin that i am going to buy .
- i am not greedy so small profit is good for me per day.

waiting for your experiences and advises .

Thanks
If you check in the coinmarketcap you can see that most of the altercoins have been increased too much, ETH has been increased too. Bittrex and Yobit and Poloniex all of them are good.
2232  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: A few questions before I buy a Bitcoin ASIC device on: January 30, 2016, 07:18:39 PM
Hi there,
I have been looking around, and found a few different devices which all have different numbers (e.g. 336MH/s or 2GH/s - just the first 2 I saw) on Amazon. And I have a few questions, which I hope you guys will be able to help me with.

1) What do these numbers mean?
- I assume it is the speed. But is there any way to use these numbers to approximate how many Bitcoins per day/week/month you would average. E.g. a 100MH/s would be 0.000001BTC or something?

2) If I got a USB stick ASIC device (I'm sorry, I don't know the proper term for these), does it run as long as the PC is powered? I.e. if the PC is in sleep mode, or running.

3) What would be an estimated bandwidth usage for one of these? It's not an issue, but I would like to know whether upgrading to a slightly better internet package would be a smart move to account for more bandwidth usage.

4) Do they need 24/7 internet access? I.e. if your internet drops for an hour, would it resume as normal, or would it need to be reconfigured/start from scratch losing an progress it had made.

5) If you were to recommend a cheap starting device, just to see how it works and if it is something that would work for me, what would you recommend? (Not really necessary, as hopefully the previous 4 questions should help me choose, but just in case there is a specific model which is better)

Thanks,
Jordan

1) These numbers mean that the mining rig how much hash can solve, here is to check earnings for bitcoin calculator: https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator
2233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: January 30, 2016, 07:12:59 PM
Of course I don't mean BTC Casinos or similar things. I know you can earn but can lose there as well.
With the recent pumps and dumps of bitcoin but also from other coins in the exchanges it was (still is) a good chance to make at least $1
2234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading places on: January 30, 2016, 07:00:25 PM
Poloniex man. Great UI and service
I trade in poloniex too, and for a long time but i rare trade, their UI is great they have two different colors for day and night and the exchange rate isn't expensive, only 0.2%.
2235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is going sideways again on: January 30, 2016, 06:55:26 PM
We all know how it's going to end up, after a period of flatlining. A drop to 360 is INCOMING!!!

For the last three days bitcoin is dropping a bit but not to much to worry about, maybe $350 will be reached through the weekend but from Monday i expect a slightly increase.

creativeeditors's signature design will not fit, it have many rows, even it he made with only 1pt it still will not fit, OP is hero so he can check himself if it fits or not. I liked the SwingFirst's design.
2237  Economy / Goods / Re: 2006 Mustang on: January 26, 2016, 09:08:02 PM
It's a 2006. It is very fun to drive. I have no idea how much shipping to belgium would cost. I'm actually surprised you are even asking. Most people would not be comfortable buying a car without being able to test drive. I would consider shipping. But there is no way i would do escrow. It would have to be paid in full before i let go of it. I do accept BTC though so if you got a stash of coins burning a hole in you pocket it is a nice way to buy yourself a new toy without pulling any money out of the bank.
The cheapest one here are from $11-$12k and that's why i asked how much would be the shipping, about the quality i would hire at last someone to check the quality and the performance, anyway good luck with sales, i will research about the shipping if i find anything useful i will contact you.
2238  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Android Wallet recommendations on: January 26, 2016, 08:52:49 PM

Can you guys recommend me a wallet that I can install on an android phone?
I do have a wallet installed which is from coins.ph of course the coins technically is on their server and not mine. if the bitcoin core is available i must have installed it months ago.
I have have this coins, i can then save my coins till i gather enough.
Look yourself at this link https://www.bitcoin.com/choose-your-wallet?category=mobile there are many good mobile wallets, i use blocktrail, good interface both on web and on mobile.
2239  Economy / Goods / Re: 2006 Mustang on: January 26, 2016, 08:48:31 PM
The car looks agressive Tongue, someone would ask where is the piece of paper lol, anyway i am wondering how much would it cost to be shipped in Belgium exactly? A small search in google shows me that this is a 2007 model
2240  Other / Meta / Re: Suggesting a warning on the digital goods section. on: January 26, 2016, 08:37:54 PM
so.... since a lot of the threads there probably won't get deleted, why not put up a warning similar the one on the investor-based games there (on digital goods)?
I originally thought that pinning OGnasty's topic here will do, but I figured that half of the internet tend to skip stickies. ofc doing both would be better.

I'm not 100% sure that this will reduce the amount of people getting scammed there though. mainly because I don't know how many users there know what kind of risk they're taking.
what do you guys think?

I don't think OGnasty's topic should be pinned, a warning is enough telling that mostly Gift Cards are not safe and Microsoft products(keys)
