1581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Bad for the environment, taking the worlds energy - yes? on: June 24, 2016, 03:56:32 PM
Yeah bitcoin is taking lots of power energy of the world, somewhere it is very cheap and somewhere costs a lot, but we can say that because of bitcoin many people have been employed on maintaining those mining rigs in their mining farms. It is not bad for environment as fabrics.
1582  Other / Off-topic / Re: The bitcoin in daily life on: June 24, 2016, 03:46:10 PM
Have you guys ever used bitcoins like a payment method?
How hard it is to explain to someone what's bitcoin?
In your country there are many stores where you can use the bitcoins?
Do your friends related to bitcoin? Do they know what exactly is a bitcoin?

I have used bitcoin lots of time as payment method and hope to use it in the future. It was not much hard to explain bitcoin to my friends but was harder to my relatives as they didn't know anything about cryptocurrencies.
1583  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 2011 Bitcointalk Account on: June 24, 2016, 03:35:30 PM

1584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to convert to USD? on: June 23, 2016, 01:59:56 PM
Depending on the country that you are you can try and search for local people and trade the bitcoins for cash which is the best way and without any fees like the exchanges.
1585  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Can i place a S7 miner in a normal fridge or freezer to cool it down in silence on: June 23, 2016, 01:57:21 PM
No, you have not to do that, a friend of mine put the laptop on the fridge to cool down it after a long time of rendering and it was really hot. After a half an hour he wanted to turn on the laptop and it didn't worked, the monitor didnt turned up because of the condensation.
1586  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How to get 0.001BTC very fast? on: June 22, 2016, 12:11:39 PM
Is there some way to get 1mbtc in 1 or 2 days plz share

If you have time and nerves you can join faucets, not a best option but its not bad if you really in hurry, otherwise check the Service board and check for any twitter/facebook campaign maybe you will be lucky and earn faster 0.001BTC
1587  Economy / Economics / Re: Short term high target reached on: June 22, 2016, 12:10:17 PM
Short term high target for BTC reached. I'm expecting some selling pressure right now. Don't get me wrong. I'm forever bull on BTC. But now we've entered in a small selling wave in my count.

What comes fast goes fast, i think that bitcoin price was really pumped last weeks and it was really high (~190 USD) and now the price is getting back and maybe lower than $600. Maybe because of this selling pressure the price is getting lowered, actually now the price should be increased before the halving.
1588  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to sign and verify on: June 22, 2016, 12:02:21 PM
Anyone?

Thanks

First you should tell us which wallet are you using because not every wallet has the option to sign a bitcon message, some other do not provide private key but you are able to sign a message(like coinbase). Once you sign them you can check if it is valid by verifying here: https://tools.bitcoin.com/verifier.html

Here is a good tutorial how to sign a bitcoin message from different kind of wallets: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0
1589  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you know other big forums where can i sell digital goods ? on: June 22, 2016, 11:56:28 AM
Anyone know other big forums where can i sell digital goods ?

Please pm me to don`t make advertising to otheres ..

What digital goods do you have? If you are doing any social media service or any method then i would suggest to take a look at fiverr. For cryptocurrencies forum search in google "bitcoin forum" and you will get few results that are few forums.
1590  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: June 22, 2016, 11:54:38 AM
Well, if bitcoin fades into insignificance, it is as good as death.
Given the potential that Bitcoin has, I would say that any alt overtaking it in terms of market cap would spell the end.

No way an alt coin would take over BTC but it could just die in price when it isn't useful to the community anymore, that's the day when we really just get tired of btc and dont need the coin for any reason.

I dont think BTC will die out for a long period of time.

Bitcoin can never die till it holds a great value people will continue to use it, may be price can go down in future but it will always shows its presence.

Bitcoin can die if people will not use it, if there will be hard fork which can destabilize the network and the price itself. Also the quantum computers can destroy bitcoin if are shown in a short period of time, by this bitcoin is only safe for at least one or two decades from now by these kind of computers.
1591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Does it have a POSITIVE IMPACT on your life? on: June 22, 2016, 11:49:39 AM
Bitcoin has impacted my life a bit by meeting different people that are interested in bitcoin and to those that i have sold bitcoin to them before. Also it affected my life by investing in something that before didn't existed. Through bitcoin i have bought many things which through paypal were not possible.
1592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: June 21, 2016, 09:54:27 PM
I consider them both as good, I use paypal more often to be honest but this is because its more accepted in a lot of online stores.
The bitcoin of course is better with all these advantages but its not used by a lot of stores... and that is the downside.

Paypal can be sometimes very bad for a person or for business because they often limit/block user's account and to unlock it they require lots of documents/ID to verify yourself. These situation do not happen in bitcoin unless you buy or trade in third parties like exchanges.
1593  Other / Off-topic / Re: The First Thing You Bought? on: June 21, 2016, 09:36:27 PM
What was the first thing you bought with your Bitcoin? Did you treat your loved ones to a classy restaurant? Or did you bought something for yourself? Bitcoin indeed is really helpful Smiley

Back on the time when i earned my first satoshis i didn't have any opportunity to spend them, so the only way that i benefit from bitcoin was to sell them and i sold them for cash, the price was really now comparing with the price nowdays.

1595  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: NEW : Paid to Like - 100 satoshi per like, instant to FaucetBox! on: June 21, 2016, 06:49:49 PM

1596  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 21, 2016, 06:07:13 PM
Identity theft/fraud is a big thing nowadays.

So just a question - Are you guys comfortable with going on sites and verifying your ID with you and legal proof? I'm personally not, because on the internet anything can happen.

I don't think that somebody is comfortable putting his ID online and sending to a company that anytime can be hacked or they will collapse and sell their users database to a third party. Where is the anonymity when you send the ID to a particularly exchange? I will try to not send any ID to them but when we have no other choice we can't do anything else.
1597  Economy / Services / Re: Need Highly trusted escrow on: June 21, 2016, 06:03:39 PM
Looking for a highly trusted escrow to escrow a bitcoin sale for me and another user.

Please post highly recommended escrowers

SebastianJu is pretty good trusted and has escrowed a great amount of bitcoin on the forum, here is his profile link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18640 and his official escrow thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102721
1598  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinsBank Blockchain Summit October 2016 on: June 21, 2016, 06:01:31 PM
The discount is only if you order also the accommodation and/or the flight. Aren't the price too expensive? The cheapest accommodation is 800 EUR. I tested one with simple information got "Thank you for you order! Your personal manager will contact you soon." I would ask you wouldn't it be good if you provide a promo code for bitcointalk members.

That is correct, the discount is applied if accommodation or a flight is coupled with a conference pass when making the purchase. The 799 EUR cost for accommodation includes an all-inclusive 3 nights at one of the best hotels in Turkey! There will be an incredible line-up of speakers relevant to the industry, the highest ranking representatives of companies and networking programs including concerts, DJ parties, quests, and a gala dinner among to name just a few events! We are confident that after spending the your time at the CoinsBank summit, the cost will seem insignificant for a series of events that will better your connections in the Crypto industry and stay with you for the rest of your life.
We will be posting a promotional code for all users of the forum today!

I understand it and know the benefits but for those that do not have time and money to enjoy all these benefits is a bit problem, I see that you have take in consideration my suggestion about promo code specially for bitcointalk members, wish good luck to participants.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: June 21, 2016, 05:51:23 PM
Gox
Cryptsy..

If you have most of your coins in Bitfinex.. there will be little mercy when they disappear.

You can also add bter exchange, they lost 7,100BTC+ last year on February, i think people have got enough lessons to not keep any coin in any exchange but the needs to profit, and a hope that tomorrow the exchange rate of a coin will be increased and to make a profit will never end.
1600  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: June 21, 2016, 05:48:51 PM
What do you guys think?
Since the price keeps going lower the whole day.

Also why is it going lower ?
If you have any emergency then the time to sell it always, but at the moment the price can decrease more so if you feel unsafe then sell but after a certain time I believe that the price will increase during the halving.
