1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #bitcoin Twitter party on: July 10, 2016, 11:24:28 AM
Media didn't pay much attention to halving like it did to Craig Wright episode. This maybe the reason for halving not having any considerable positive affect on price
I don't think halving should be a big news on the portals and online newspapers, if the bitcoin price would change dramatically then it would be a big news but craig wright was really a big news, even though he is not confirmed as bitcoin founder yet. I thought #bitcoin would be on the trending list of twitter but didn't happened.
1522  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is Max amount of btc once you own? on: July 10, 2016, 11:07:29 AM
The highest amount I ever owned was just over 170BTC in very early 2013. My average buying price at that time was around $20-$25 per coin. I sold the majority of my coins when the price started to come close to $100 back in the days.
Interesting story, at least you made a ROI of x4 - x5, i like your courage buying lots of bitcoin at that time. My maximum amount of bitcoin i had at once was 1BTC but it didn't last long.
1523  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: July 10, 2016, 10:53:25 AM
After see this topic paypal or bitcoin?, i'm curious who have paypal account these days.
Do you still have paypal account even though you have bitcoin?

I use both of them not because I really pro paypal but I'm "forced" to have a paypal account because not every online shop accept bitcoin as a payment option, sometimes it is cheaper with paypal but rare, the bad thing about paypal is that they are pretty strictly about limits and require some verification which takes a lot of time.
i use both too, i have a paypal account for a really long time right now and it is easy to buy stuff with it from eshops such as ebay or amazon and i really like to use it to be honest
It is fast yeah, faster than bitcoin because the payment does not need to be confirmed because it is charged directly from the balance or from the bank account but sometimes bitcoin is more secure (for sellers) as it does not have any option to chargeback from buyers.
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block Halving? on: July 10, 2016, 10:43:53 AM
So what do you think of bitcoin block halving? My Antminer U3 used to make $25 USD a year now it only makes $12 USD. And EoBot fee have when up to %75+ so now 72 GH/s now only makes $5 USD a year. I never got to hit ROI, I need to mine $75 USD to hit ROI, so far I only mined $26 USD. I was hoping to at least to hit ROI and now I won't Cry

If you are making 5 USD a year then after 4 years you will earn $2.5 a year, so the ROI will not be reached if the price does not change. If i were you i would stop mining with that U3, buy another mining rig or quit mining completely.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your money aim? At which point you would go in "retire"? on: July 10, 2016, 10:41:11 AM
How many bitcoins you would must have that you can go to retire?

What would be your point, that you would say i go and quite my real life job and i dont trade anymore?

Can't predict exactly how many bitcoins but the value of them should be one or two million dollars, life is long and we don't know how much will be lived but few million dollar should normally work, even though we should invest again these to be up to date, bitcoin can be worthless.
1526  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: July 10, 2016, 10:26:01 AM
Do you think that Bitcointalk is a good way to get knowledge and information about Bitcoins?? because Bitcointalk is very useful for me to get information about Bitcoin.

You can find here everything starting from bitcoin price news, then there are lots of discussion about what happened what is happening and what users thing will happen with bitcoin, bitcoin companies and many more. I mostly find everything here, just the real time bitcoin price not.
1527  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: July 07, 2016, 08:57:28 PM
Mining is not the thing I would do right now because its just not very smart in my eyes, why would you even do it.
Mining is not profitable anymore it even cost more power than it will provide..

Mining bitcoin can not be profitable if you are mining with the old mining rigs, the new one like S7 and S9 are profitable to mine, of course they spend lots of power but at the end of the month there is a profit. Miners usually don't sell those coins as they think that the price increases but if they need to pay the electricity then they have to sell them.
1528  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: do you accept bitcoins in your business on: July 07, 2016, 08:50:40 PM
i am a carpenter/ handyman and furniture repairer and i accept it as payment , acually prefer it. are there any other places other than gambleing and tech stuff  that accepts it there is a beekeeper in north carolina that does also

I have an app on Google Play Store and on Appstore and as far as a I know there are not any other payment method accepted except their own (google wallet and apple pay) for in app purchases, If I could I would integrate bitcoin immediately.
1529  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Virtual card on: July 07, 2016, 08:44:23 PM
Hello
Which is the best virtual card that can I load easily and buy bitcoin easily
Thanks

Are you going to send them your ID for verification! This depends from the amount you want to load and spend them, the same is applied also for the plastic bitcoin debit card. Some of the top that offer this service are bit-x, e-coin, spectrocoin etc.

1532  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: July 07, 2016, 08:21:36 PM

Faucets are good for the new comers, they can start claiming it and meanwhile search for different options from where they can start earning descent amount of bitcoins.

Faucets are not good, except if you are using a rotator and then you only earn peanuts.

Faucets are good only if you need a very small amount of bitcoin and you don't have any other way to earn bitcoins, but people here are mostly interested in programmers, designers, content writers and sometimes marketing. You can also earn bitcoin by selling stuffs.
1533  Other / Meta / Re: Help with account access Please on: July 07, 2016, 08:10:52 PM
Hello,
For some reason my account is banned and I cannot log in. I have emailed the help desk with no luck many times over the last couple months.
The account is dbasql.
I suppose I can use this new/alias account but I prefer my initial account if possible.
Thanks in advance.

From the seclog page i see that you just reset the password, "password reset via secret question" so this is the reason your account is currently locked. What you should do is contacting the moderator or directly theymos.
1534  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: July 05, 2016, 02:51:39 PM
Spending bitcoins ia always a good option you know because there are allot of people who are just holding coins and that is not the best thing
for the price of the bitcoin the price is going up if we are all spending coins keep them rolling.

Everything has a limit even spending bitcoin I consider that we should spend until a limit that we decide for ourselves. Personally I try as much as I can to not spend the bitcoins because I consider them as an asset to get a profit in the near future, spending at this time is not preferred as the price can be increased anytime.
1535  Economy / Services / Re: looking for a trusted member to hold escrow! on: July 05, 2016, 02:45:37 PM
Thanks a lot! I am amazed by the speed of your answer Smiley!

I'm glad that I helped you, even though not all members here prefer fast answers because 'some' of them consider it as a spam like a signature manger that I was part of it in the past. If you ever finish the deal with any escrow or if you have found it already you can lock this thread.
1536  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2016, 02:43:23 PM
I started using bitcoin more than 3 years and why i started is because it was a good opportunity earning online from faucets and other really small task like watching videos and pay per click sites, so these websites didn't required any verification but just an address and start.
1537  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: July 05, 2016, 01:31:40 PM
It was my little dream to own 21 BTC and today i achieved it after hard work of so long time. Now i want to make my hard work pay me.I mean,i want that these bitcoins work for me someway and grow.Is there bitcoin bank that pays interest? What will you do with 21 BTC? How will you spend it? How will you grow it? Share anything you want that may help me to decide what should i do. Smiley

I would call myself as one in a million holding at least 21BTC, I'll not think how to spend them unless I 'must' to spend for emergencies situation, i will invest or trade them to increase the volume. When you have bigger volume its riskier to trade but the profit is bigger than 'playing' with low amounts.
1538  Economy / Services / Re: looking for a trusted member to hold escrow! on: July 05, 2016, 01:23:25 PM
Title, details will be discussed privately Smiley!

The forum has a list of available escrow members, here is a thread that shows the BIG 3 escrows: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 also "Others" are trusted as well, just be sure to check their announcement escrow thread to see if they still offer this service.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had suddenly 500 BTC on: July 04, 2016, 01:12:42 AM
How would you transfer the btc to your bank account without making the banks / OCED ask questions?

Hiring 250 people and then send they the money to you but it will still be noticeable if this happens at the same time with the same amount of withdrawal to the banks. Maybe buying something else withdrawing time by time not all in once etc.

This is not smart at all. too many people work with you, easy to track you down.

Well I don't know what is the source of these bitcoins but if it is legal then i wouldn't worry to much. Maybe up to 3k per person should not make your bank ask what you are doing or anything else. You can sell them for cash locally in your city or country and not being noticed. Also you can buy hardware things and then resell them.

of course it is. isnt it weired that to many people transfer you money and your not business ? what you give them in turn ?
in case of investigation the first thing to do is to investigate those people.

Nothing is free, and when you are dealing with lots of people then you should award them at least for their job what are they doing for you. Cashing out 500BTC is a not a small deal, I think you simply you cant without being noticed, you can try by going on bitcoin ATMs in different countries but still you have to pay for some fees that these ATMs have, you can't probably get exactly 500BTC but less because of the fees/award etc.
1540  Economy / Services / Re: I can Make an Adsense Account for You [WordWide] on: July 04, 2016, 12:50:19 AM
The information that you gave us are missing something, do you provide accounts that are PIN-verified for that specific country? If no is the answer of this question then the price of $200 is really expensive. I have sent already a PM to you.
