yes they premined the equivalent you would get on other hard fork, which mean they premined the equal amount of number of supply of bitcoin in existence, but instead of hard forking, they created a whole new chain and premined the coin, so you don't have a big blockchain to download, very clever |

is that still a thing? i thought it was a big 25% airdrop and then the remaining was for the claiming 0.5 btx for every 1 bitcoin you hold on the snashot date? m i wrong? i'm still going to receive my 3% every week now? yes the airdrops will continue, and will go up by 1% every month till fully distributed. i had 480 coins and i got only 12, which is not 3%, should be near 15, why the error? Did you make sure all 480 coins were exactly in the registered address and not in some change addresses? Just usw the blockexplorer or the coin control feature to find out. sin't 3% for every address that hold more than 10 bitcore? should be 3% on the total anyway |

youc an try to mine verium or zoin, they are good for cpu coin, or also magi, but they don't have the marketcap of monero and some of them could probably be died in few months if not yet |

Kind of crazy idea but with enough versions of myself in other dimensions trying to solve problems 1 is bound to solve it much quicker(even on the 1st attempt) & then relay that solution to all the others..

propably with this kind of stuff you could ahve a miner that mine many altcoin at one without losing hashrate on any of them pretty much like clymore dual mining, but not only limited to two altcoin but to all of them lol would be crazy |

because bitcoin it's not commonly accpeted and regulated everywhere yet, you need first to wait for regulation and then the big guys will accept it as a payment, amazon also don't accept bitcoin for this reason, but some accept bitcoin like steam, you can make bitcoin using their services some game give you some coins |

IMO any hardfork is positive for the whole market. They are like quantitative easing at macroeconomics. i don't think so, they devalue the value of the altcoin scene, they are not god, because everyone will just dump them to have more bitcoin ASAP, i'll dump them at the first peak like with bitcoin cash lol, eventually people will realize that the next one will have less value than the previous one and stop making stupid hard fork |

bitcore and rain are very profitable they have good airdrop/pos value, with rain you can stake 10% every month which is a very big reward for a pos coin imho, it's very cheap now, they dumped the value because of bitcoin segwith2x coming |

This is the time when I wish I had a lot of fiat money right now so I can buy more altcoins. I'm new to crypto and first time experiencing the effect of forks. For those experts, Is it possible that some altcoins will not be able to recover after the fork?
yeah every time a new fork happen people go nuts about dumping everything and buying that fork, but what go up will go down, when bitcoin will go down again altcoin will go up another time, i think we still need to wait for the bottom on the altcoin now |

Depends if u get a decent miner that actually mines this algorithm. Fark on an AMD its a piece of junk, i have tried and tried and i cant get the bloody thing to mine properly. I have tried NSGMiner and even Gatelessgate , i mean heck what a bloody stupid algorithm or miner. Some GPUs of my 3 act weird like not mining at all and also i have noticed some mining pools are shit to begin win because they have cause a different reaction on the mining process. REally, i dont understand how anybody mines this on an AMD card. i would love to know. sib is very good miner for nvidia, it can mine at 1200 KH per 1070, how much with a speed of 14MH? can i make at least 5 coins per day? |
