1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 16, 2023, 04:28:29 AM
The market always has two sides, the bears and the bulls. The bears will always want bitcoin to fall back and fall as deeply as possible, while the bulls will always want bitcoin to bounce back and hit new ATHs. So, there is no one accurate prediction of the bitcoin price or market movements. There are no experts in the market, we are all the same, and our predictions may or may not be correct. You should do your own analysis, don't invest according to someone's predictions.

~~

While the government also did not try to develop technology that would reduce the circulation of paper money, on the contrary the CBDC introduced by the Bank was a government product whose function was only to restrain the rate of growth of crypto and these efforts were not successful

I don't think creating a bank's CBDC is to limit or slow down the growth of cryptocurrencies, even if a successful CBDC would have no impact on cryptocurrencies. The cryptocurrency market is a financial market used for investment, while CBDC represents fiat in the digital version, which is only seen as an evolution of technology. Fiat is a currency, not an investment market, so the two can't hurt each other. Alternatively, a CBDC could also be the idea that gives the government more control over us.

Honestly, I think that is going to be the case in the end. It is likely that they will not be able to finish in a favorable position on the table in the long run. There is no doubt that they will face a lot of difficulties and a lot of people are going to point fingers at them for it. In line with what was expected, Chelsea fans are also not happy with the decisions that are being made by the club. I just hope that this does not turn out to be another deal like the Romelu Lukaku deal.
Actually their reversal could still happen even though it is difficult because regardless of anything the league is still quite long but the problem is when they make spending that is difficult to control now which makes it a little complicated.
Todd is really controversial in my opinion because what he did was actually a brave act. regardless of whatever their condition is actually not possible but continue to be forced.

Actually, Chelsea might perform better if they keep finding the coach. But that is not going to be the optimal decision. The optimal decision is going to be to change the coach. But as we heard they are not doing that. They would rather find the coach and get more players on the team. That is obviously an experiment that might go wrong.

The bottom line is every decision they take right now is going to be very controversial. And I actually respect Chelsea they are trying to take their own decisions without being under any influence from the outside world.
1364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 16, 2023, 02:23:35 AM
The gap between the third and fourth teams (Real Sociedad and Atlético de Madrid) is getting bigger and bigger. After the victory from the basque team and the draw between the latter and Almería, the difference between both teams is now of seven points.

The Gap is certainly getting bigger. Right now there is a 7-point difference between Real Sociedad and Atletico de Madrid. I do not think that this difference is going to be closing anytime soon. Because Atletico Madrid is not being able to improve. On the other hand, Real Sociedad is performing better at this moment. So, I don't think that this gap is going to decrease at this moment. At least not until Atletico Madrid starts performing better.
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 15, 2023, 08:40:11 PM
Today I can't say that Lazio were very impressive. They had big difficulties especially in the first half. Sassuolo were so comfortable with creating many opportunities to score a goal. But they were just very incapable at finishing. Especially Lauriente wasted many goal opportunities. Lazio were really lucky about the first goal as they won a penalty right before the end of the first half. Pegolo was nearly saving it but the ball went just below his arms. The second goal was due to a defensive mistake. Tressoldi's mistake cost Sassuolo really a lot.

This was still an important win for Lazio considering that they didn't get any for three weeks before this match. But they had better work on their defense more if they don't want to have serious problems during the rest of the season.

I absolutely agree and I also cannot say that this was a very good performance from Lazio. Because both times they have scored, was because the opponent made mistake. I understand that without one team making mistake the another cannot capitalize on it. But both of them were very silly mistakes. The first one was actually relatively understandable because that can happen while trying to defend a corner. But the second goal which was conceded at the absolute end of the match was because of a horrible mistake by the defender of Sassuolo.
1366  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 15, 2023, 01:29:31 PM
In the current market I would be more interested in investing my money without depositing it in the bank. Bank gives us fixed amount of interest but if I invest it will be seen that there is no mention of limited interest If this market can be recruited then I think it is definitely possible to earn good profit in future which is not possible by depositing in bank. the So considering the current context, I will definitely invest my money. But all of us who invest know that there is some risk involved in investing. But if the objective is to earn profit then we must accept risk.
Even if you invest in the crypto market but must determine the allocation of funds to be invested, it is not recommended that you use all funds for crypto investment and the ideal fund for investment may be 30-40% of all the funds you have, you must have savings in the bank , funds for basic needs, including funds for emergency needs. The crypto market is very risky if you involve all funds because when you need emergency funds then you will not be able to sell assets when you experience high losses and other options are applying for loans to anyone. Investment is a matter of funds that will be used for the long term so investment funds are not tied to other funds unless you are bankrupt and have no other funds at all.

Proper management and know how to work with the investment that to pick, there are many potential risk that you need to consider before jumping with crypto investment.

If you know how to work with this kind of market, the chance of making something good around this market
is possible, though if you are just being move by hype, the chance of losing probably will hit your investment.

Not only with cryptocurrencies, once invested, there is always a potential risk, if you do not know how to manage, sooner or later, nothing will be left in your hand. We often say that the rich invest to get richer but don't forget that they always have huge savings in the bank, they are not afraid to take risks, but they are also not stupid enough not to consider the risks that will be taken.

Investing is about taking risks, that's true, but we must remember that we should only invest with what we can lose, not all of our assets. Put all our eggs in one basket, it's like we're gambling.

I do not know, in China I do not think nowadays that is common to use cash, they actually perform electronic payments generally
Not only China, many developed countries have also restricted the use of paper money and switched to digital or card payment methods. But the complete elimination of paper money is unlikely to happen in the next decade because in many places it can be said that the internet is limited, and smartphones are not yet widely used, so getting rid of paper money is very difficult.
it is not only difficult but impossible to get rid of paper money, nowadays technology is very advanced and many people are carried away by that change but not all people can use the same things.
nowadays almost all corners of the world in big cities with big businesses can use electronic payments, that's a very natural thing in a very advanced world like today but with more and more growth and more and more things that won't erase or turn off paper money .
reduction in the circulation of paper money is of course very likely to occur but it will not be eliminated in any country.

I think the phasing out of paper money is still possible but it won't happen in the near future, and it may take longer than we think. As you say, if we can successfully reduce the circulation of paper money, then just more time to get rid of it completely is possible.

To be honest, paper money causes some problems such as printing and circulation costs, and is quite cumbersome if shipped in large quantities. But in some cases, paper money also gives us convenience such as paying small bills very quickly, and using paper money still gives us a little more privacy than an account bank or CBDC.
Phasing out of paper money is not at all possible. When paper money gets its usage stopped, automatically it takes another form. The paper money comes in the digital form. The usage comes to an end only if each and every country agree to stop using paper money. Everything runs on a cyclic process, same is with the financial structure. We've evolved from the barter method to the cryptocurrency and maybe once again we can move back to the barter method. So, usage of paper money will continue amidst all form of technology based development.

If the world continues to develop and there are no disasters like World War 3, the technologies will still be preserved and developed, I don't think there's any reason for us to go back to the barter method. We're moving towards convenience, eliminating bulky stuff, so there's no reason to return to the previous methods. I am not saying that paper money will be phased out any time soon but certainly in the future, CBDC will be the first experimental step to get rid of paper money.

Chelsea have hijacked the deal and have reached an agreement with his club for a €100million  deal. Arsenal were very close with €95million. He is more likely to be unveiled as a Chelsea player in a few hours.  Very unfortunate for Arsenal, we were really expecting that we would be able to get him to join us on time before we face Manchester United.
source
Chelsea on the other hand have really spent a lot of Money on transfer this season and are still spending.
They brought back a player like him even though this player was really wanted by Arsenal.
But hey how much money have they put in transfers this season I think Todd really wants to complicate things now because with so many players now when they fail to be in a decent position at the end of the season this is going to be quite the subject of criticism big for them.

Honestly, I think that is going to be the case in the end. It is likely that they will not be able to finish in a favorable position on the table in the long run. There is no doubt that they will face a lot of difficulties and a lot of people are going to point fingers at them for it. 1369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 14, 2023, 07:22:10 PM
I expected to see the name Dortmund in the starting three and it is not which is really disappointing. Talking about in form teams in the Bundesliga and Dortmund is not mentioned doesn't look good in any way. I wonder what the priorities of the club management are, because for a big team like Dortmund this level of performance is not acceptable and should be looked into. I also hope they will be able to make top four at the end of the season.
Well i think the simple truth is that Dortmund is just not that strong anymore. Since 2013, when they have reached the Champions League final it slowly but surely went downwards for them in my opinion. They had a short high when Thomas Tuchel became their coach, but after that the downward trend continued. They were still good enough though in the last years to finish at least on the second place in the Bundesliga most of the times, but now it seems like other clubs just gained and advantage over them.
Dortmund is always buying those young and promising players, but the bad thing about that is, that those players will leave Dortmund if they are doing well like Haaland, Sancho, Hakimi and soon Bellingham.

The problem with Dortmund is that they are not actually interested in trophies. They are interested in making business with the players that they bring up from a young age. Dortmund is always selling young players who have good potential for quite a lot of money. And that is the business that they generally do.

Actually, I don't think we can blame them for this. They are after money, so they do this business. They are just simply not after trophies. We can just look at the point table of Bundesliga and understand that. If they were actually serious about earning trophies they would have not sold a lot of the players that they did. Especially Haaland.

Comilla Victorians faced Fortune Barisal in match number 11 of BPL In this match, Fortune Barisal came to bat first and managed to collect 177 runs for 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 over. Team captain Shakib Al Hasan played the highest run innings in the team. He managed to score 81 runs off just 45 balls where he hit eight fours and four sixes. Shakib Al Hasan's innings of 81 runs with the bat was really worth watching. When Comilla Victorians came down to bat against a target of 178 runs given by Fortune Barisal, they were able to collect 165 runs for seven wickets. But if Liton Kumar Das was not run out, the result of the match could have been different. Best wishes and congratulations to Shakib Al Hasan and Fortune Barisal
Barisal vs Comilla match was very interesting and Barisal won by 12 runs after both teams played full 20 overs.  Comilla were bowled out for 177 runs.  But Comilla narrowly failed to meet the target. Comilla played very well.  The match was fiercely fought.  Comilla thought they would win but lost by just 12 runs. Now Dhaka vs chattogram is playing.  Dhaka gave a target of 158 runs to chattogram.  chattogram need 40 runs in 4.1 overs.
This match was really very interesting. Shakib Al Hasan played really well in this match. His getting all those runs actually helped his team to win this match. Shakib Al Hasan was obviously and enable the best player in this match. He has scored 81 runs and he also picks up one wicket while being very economical.

The match between Dhaka vs Chattogram was interesting. But not enough interesting for me. I think in the end Chattogram won the match quite easily. The economy of the bowlers from Dhaka was not good enough in the end.

Chelsea are fully behind manager Graham Potter and are planning a mass clear-out of players if results do not improve. When clubs are in crisis and not achieving good results, club managements usually replace coaches, so this is somewhat surprising news. Will this approach pay off for Chelsea?
I hope that Chelsea does not make a mistake. Because I do not think that it is the fault of the players that they are not being able to perform well. I personally do not think that the tactics of Graham Potter are the best suited for Chelsea. I do not understand what they are thinking. First of all, they brought this coach when they had the option for Zidane. And now they are backing him up with the money. I certainly think that this is going to be a stupid decision.

Arsenal are confident of completing the £80m signing of Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, from Shakhtar Donetsk in time for the Ukraine winger to make his debut against Manchester United next weekend. The Ukrainians were obviously very demanding negotiators and it seems that they managed to raise the price of their player.
Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/64266988
It is actually going to be very good for Arsenal if they can get Mykhailo Mudryk. Arsenal is already performing really well this season and he can improve the quality of the squad more. And I am also hearing that the deal is very close to being done.
1372  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset : 6 key differences on: January 14, 2023, 08:44:14 AM
I think in this case they tend to be more careful because when poor people with all the limitations they have will obviously think several times about investing, especially they also don't only have to think about the future but tomorrow they have to think about it because it's not certain. they can earn more money in their current deprived condition so that when there is money they prefer to think about tomorrow rather than for the long term.
In contrast to people who have more funds they can think more for the long term and of course they can invest comfortably without having to think about how they live and eat tomorrow.
Yes Very realistic difference. The poor and middle class work for money, while the rich tell their money to work for them.
actually investing does not have to be rich and poor, the most important thing is that the financial mindset must be changed. Fear of making mistakes means you are not ready to know the truth.

People prefer consumption over investment, because to show off their lifestyle on social media, people like this never think long term.

There is no difference between rich and poor, the ultimate goal is still to make money, only the method of making money is different. Poor people have to earn money by labor because they don't have much money and rich people because they already have money so they will use the money to make money.

Investment does not discriminate between rich and poor, while some poor people are lazy and do not strive to change their lives. Besides, there are also many poor people who try every day but the situation is too difficult so thinking about investing is a big problem. We often advise each other, only invest with the amount that we are willing to accept to lose, not invest with all our assets. So the poor have reason to be afraid to invest.

1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra LUNA Classic Price Prediction 2023-2025 on: January 13, 2023, 04:24:18 AM
The biggest loss is from the terra Luna/Lunc project.  I had invested a lot of money here.  There were many luna buys at $110 where I suffered huge losses and learned from this.  I don't want to make this mistake a second time so I never want to invest in this doomed project Lunc.  I doubt very much that this project will ever go higher.

Yes, lunc is our obsession. I was surprised when I saw the topic about Lunc in 2023, I don't understand why OP still wants to invest in this damn coin, given what it did to the market and investors in 2022. If we don't want to invest in bitcoin, then when it comes to the altcoin market, we have a lot of coins worth investing in thousands of times more than Lunc. It's hard to understand why so many people continue to put their money in risky and unpromising coins like Lunc.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 13, 2023, 04:07:01 AM
Hi, I'm new to here. So just want to ask your help or guide.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.

When it comes to safety, I will tell you that bitcoin is safer than BNB, but when it comes to profit, I believe that bitcoin is unlikely to be a more profitable investment than BNB. It can be said that BNB is the most valuable altcoin to invest in, its future is very bright, unlike what your friends are worried about. Your friend seems to have been too worried seeing the recent FTX and Fuds crash faced by Binance, don't blame him, he wants the best for you too. But if you sell BNB to Bitcoin, I will also support because bitcoin is still the perfect choice.

I thought Sri Lanka would score at least 300 runs but they lost all their wickets for just 216 runs.  But on the other hand, India has not been able to play very well.  Their run rate per over is almost the same as Sri Lanka's.  But India is playing to save their wickets.  So they can be expected to beat Sri Lanka. But I expected a better game from India but I don't see their performance accordingly
Sri Lanka might've scored atleast 280+ runs. Fortunately Sri Lanka kept losing wickets. Sri Lanka ended its innings at 40th over losing every wickets. Sri Lanka gave Good pressure,  but the performance from KL Rahul at the right time helped India win the match. If not this could've been a losing match for India. The bowling from India is really good and I expect this to continue with the upcoming matches against New Zealand.

The problem is Sri Lanka was not even able to play the whole 50 overs. Sri Lanka finished their innings with 62 balls left. That is certainly not good. And the score was never going to be enough for Sri Lanka to beat India.

As expected India reached the target quite easily. But India also lost 6 wickets in that process. I believe that if Sri Lanka was able to play the whole 50 overs they could get enough score on the board to actually win because this was not a batting track. India reached the target with 40 balls left and made sure that they have already won the series.

The German newspaper Bild reports that Manuel Neuer's current injury may be more serious than currently reported. For this reason, FC Bayern may be looking for a long-term solution for the goalkeeper position beyond the current season. Nobody knows how long Neuer will be out and whether he will return to his previous form.
Although the official diagnosis communicated by Bayern was 'fracture of the right lower leg', there's a rumour circulating that Neuer suffered an open fracture of the tibia and fibula, which takes longer to recover. Neuer's camp didn't deny this diagnosis when asked.
Nobody at Bayern can really say when and in what condition Neuer will return. There are doubts if he can ever reach his former level of performance again. That's why the club is considering bringing a goalkeeper who can replace Neuer in the long term, not just this season [@BILD]
Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1612773377282043905
All in all, a very difficult situation for the club but also for Manuel Neuer. I had actually hoped that Neuer would still be in goal for the German national team at EURO2024 in Germany. But after the current developments, you have to expect that his time is slowly running out. However, I really hope he manages it to come back somehow.

Manuel Neuer is obviously going to take more time to recover now. And this is going to put additional pressure on Bayern Munich to find a long-term replacement for him. They have not found a good replacement for him. And I do not think that Bayern Munich will be able to perform as a very competitive team in the Champions League without a good goalkeeper.

Now I do not know who will be the next long-term goalkeeper for Bayern Munich.  I have been saying for a long time ago that Bayern Munich should be looking into Emiliano Martinez. I am not going to be surprised if that is the case right now.

Onion is one of the cheapest vegetables. I wonder where do you live. I'm glad that I can grow onion in my own garden, so I don't have to buy it, but it's relatively cheap in the vegetable markets in my town.
The basic foods inflation in my country is 52% and the costs for heating had increased by 40%. The overall statistics show that the average inflation in my country is around 18%, but I just don't trust any statistics anymore. It sucks to live in times of high inflation, but the older generations in my country had lived in times of hyperinflation, so there's no point of bitching and complaining.
Real inflation is always higher than it seems for statistics, prices are rising for everything, for food, for utilities, for essential goods. But even though times are difficult now, it is still much easier for us than it was for our grandparents during the crisis. We will be able to survive this, the world has become more civilized, if necessary, there are social services that can help the poorest segments of the population.

Also, inflation will not grow constantly, this is a temporary phenomenon during the crisis, after which the level of people's income will also increase, according to indexation. Everything repeats itself, people have already gone through similar cycles many times, but still have not found a way out of how this can be avoided.

Inflation is a part of the world economy, for many, it is a nightmare because it will wreak havoc on their wallets, but not all. While many companies go bankrupt, and many people are unemployed, there are still a few people who get rich from inflation or have a good income in times of crisis, so high inflation does not matter to them.

Inflation is like the winter cycle of the cryptocurrency market, many people will lose and go bankrupt, but also many investors like this winter, for them, it is an opportunity.

In most cases i do end up spending over beyond budget whenever am gambling because the more you're gambling the nore it requires fund for you to use in doing so, sometimes one got off beyond control of himself and enjoy gambling having fun even when much money is involved before realizing that alot had gone through the process, I've done this to the very last of my penny at hand before i then came into realization.

Sorry to hear that happen to you, I also had some experience with this but it wasn't me doing the gambling. It was my friend although today he has gotten over it and it wasn't that complicated to achieved. I just want to share it with you so you could try it yourself and it could be of help to you. Gambling is very addictive and if you don't attack it with smartness you mightn't get over it

Firstly do you gamble just for fun or as a means or income. If it's as a means of income then you have to get something doing that can pay the bills for you so you don't totally depend on gambling for income. You can also assign specific account that will only be used for gambling if you're doing it for fun then gradually you decrease the amount you put in that account and finally you might get over the addiction.

It would be a fatal mistake if someone is addicted to gambling, for me, gambling is just a pastime to relax in stressful times, don't focus too much on it or maybe think it can bring profit or income for us.

Even if you are a person with a stable income, you should not be too passionate about gambling because when we lose, our reason will lose control. We just want revenge, but in the end, we will never win it until we lose everything. I have never met anyone who became rich through gambling addiction.

Arsenal fans have the right to dream but they are a bit overconfidence, premier league is a hard competition and it's very hard to predict the winner even if the gap is large, the next matches will be very important for both teams and if arsenal will manage to at least keep the gap at 5 points i think they will have easier path
Arsenal managed to get a 3-0 score in the match against Oxford Utd and managed to get the win, but in the next game, Arsenal faced several big clubs who had good defensive strength, so it was very difficult to penetrate their defense. Arsenal had to prepare a different strategy than now against Tottenham.

I would say Arsenal are in very good form. They can't win against Newcastle. But Arsenal players managed to score four goals against Brighton. Arsenal team also got a nice 3-0 win against Oxford United. Arsenal players dominated the match. But the upcoming matches are very important for Arsenal if they want to win the Premier League title.
