2241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 01, 2022, 09:08:20 AM
Looking at the current odds:

ML
Alvarez - 1.21
GGG - 3.95

So that is a huge disparity as far as the odds goes and they seems to really favoring Alvarez here. Maybe the age factor is what this bookies are looking at, GGG just won his last fight, while Canelo lost to Bivol. I think it's a great odds for GGG supporters this early as it is very attractive.

I'm glad that the odds are out already. The odds of GGG is indeed very attractive, I mean, I know he has not won a fight in the last 2 fight against Canelo but that 3.95 is just too much as GGG was not fully dominated in the last 2 fights, so I believe he has a very good chance of winning here by upset.
Yes, it was a good odds for us, it's hard to see crypto bookies putting a odd like that for a great boxer like GGG. But he is facing Canelo, so what can we say.

But as you have said, there is chance for GGG by an upset here. Specially if he found his second win at his age. Great fighters has one good fight in them, and hopefully this will be the one for GGG.
2242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 01, 2022, 08:36:20 AM
A little better day at Wimbledon for me today, at least judging by markets. I have my eyes set on surprise in Alcaraz match. Otte has been very good on grass this season and I expect him to even win the match but for added security I placed bets on +5.5 handicap and to take at least one set. I coupled that with Van Rijtoven ML.

It is abot time to get a winning ticket so fingers crossed.
Will tail you the Otte vs Alcaraz match, but I will go with +4.5 handicap on Otte. We will know if Alcaraz is a well rounded player if he keeps on winning on grass. But we all know that his specially is clay so this is going to be a big test for him to go against Otte who is a very good grass player.

Just a single bet for me, I don't what to be destroyed in a parlay just like the last time when Hurkacz lost his match.

Best of luck.
2243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 08:06:50 AM
anyone talk about this trade?  Spurs trade Dejounte Murray to Hawks for Danilo Gallinari, 3 first-rounders.

Quote
Hawks receive:

• Dejounte Murray
• Jock Landale

Spurs receive:

• Danilo Gallinari
• 2023 first-round pick (via Charlotte from New York, protected)
• 2025 first-round pick
• 2026 pick swap
• 2027 first-round pick

Who won in this trade?
Hawks won on this trade, no doubt about that. But that is for this season run and I think the Spurs will start rebuilding. I just don't understand why they would sacrifice Murray who is a rising star. Perhaps there is nothing better to offer, that's why.
Spurs may be pushing to do the same as Houston Rocket did. Lean on the drafts and maybe they will find gems to polish and have a new trio that will take them back to the championship.
I think the only reason is that they can't offer Murray a max if his contract expires, so it's better for them to trade it at this point and yes, sacrifice help to rebuild the team with those future first-round picks. It's a huge gamble, but if you look at it, might be a good decision after all. They might find a gem as you have said, and I think Danilo might be another trade bait too in the future.
2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just my one cent advice on: June 30, 2022, 10:46:29 PM
Anyone noticing new projects still raising millions of dollars? Mohash and Dynamic for example, I think new projects will replace lots of top altcoins in coming years and my advice to young investors is to find new projects to mix with their portfolio, remember that Matic, Polkadot, Avalnache are once all new projects in 2018/2019..
Remains to be seen, a lot of projects have raised millions of dollars as well but they all failed.

And what makes you think that they will replace such altcoins that have been established already? What unique use case they can offer?

I'm sorry but we should be careful, specially some random guy giving newbie investment advise about certain projects.
2245  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back at 20K. Imagine who sold at 17.7K. on: June 30, 2022, 07:45:59 PM
Anyone seen the market goes below $19k again?

So the whales continue to sold specially those who bought at $20k+ or will the market continue to decline and hit $17k again?

Really hard to see the market progresses though, on the other hand we wanted to see some growth to at least $25k. Or maybe this news affected the market in the last 24 hours:  CFTC brings $1.7B fraud case involving Bitcoin against South African national.
2246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 30, 2022, 09:30:40 AM
Norrie had some really unexpected difficulties with Munar today - I expected that one to end really fast and in straight sets.
Ultimately he wasn't in any real danger because he won the last 2 sets quite easily - but I'm sure he expected it to be a quicker match.

Tomorrow we have Krajinović vs Kyrgios, that one should be interesting.
Was just checking markets for today and I am quite disappointed. Not one match that really interests me. This one you mentioned could be good, but I am afraid to bet on it. Both players had way too much problems in first match when you account for their opponents lack of quality.

Nothing interesting on women's side as well. Swiatek @1.01 is unplayable, maybe only some handicap on Kvitova.

True. There are not many interesting matches today. But there is one that I find interesting. Filip Krajinović - Nick Kyrgios. If Kyrgios does not complain as much as he did in his first round, he can go very far in this tournament. He plays very well on grass and he should win this match.
Yes, Nick is a good grass player no doubt about it, but then again, the attitude though, that what makes Nick affect his performance in what like 3-4 years already. He is good no doubt only if he can focus on the game.

I think it's gonna be a slow second round for the ladies, we will see how Nadal vs Berankis in the second round. Surprising 3 set win by Alcaraz over Griekspoor. Unfortunately, fan favorite Andy Murray has been booted out in 4 sets by Isner.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2022, 08:09:55 AM
But they will get nothing in return if they get a player as injured prone as John Wall, And it's pretty obvious that his prime years are gone already and even if he forced himself, (would be a mistake) he might get injured again. I think the best option for Clippers is just to wait for Leonard to be healthy and Paul George. The role players have adopted and I would say that they are just waiting for the team to be 100% healthy and that is their biggest chance to go to the playoff next season, not getting John Wall.
If it's the Clippers I don't think they need another star. Strengthening their bench might be their best choice if they want progress. That way even if Leonard or Paul George is injured someone could handle the holes left by them.
Yes, that's what I was trying to imply, a healthy Kawhi Leonard and Paul George and some bunch of role players that can play the 2 spot might be good for them instead of getting a star like John Wall.

We saw Norman Powell played at the last few games of the season, that's a good sign for them and Terance Mann is gaining more experience looking like a young Kawhi Leonard in the making. I would focus on making these players be at their best and creating a closer chemistry rather than creating chaos by messing up the roster. My 2 cents.
And that's a good example, Powell and Mann is already a good addition and part of the rotation, chemistry is also build. And insert both of their top players, they will be another team that is going to contend in the a pretty much stack up West conference.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 30, 2022, 07:14:18 AM
^^ I think the feeling is mutual for Canelo, he see Tank Davis winning against his former stable mate Ryan Garcia.

As for GGG, we can say that age is just a numbers, Manny defy it against Thurman, Donaire failed against Inoue. So we can't really say for certain until we see GGG's performance against Canelo in their fight. And maybe after that we might see a different GGG against X opponent. So for now, I will say age might not be a factor, it's the will to win and how they are going train.
2249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to control Gambling behaviors? on: June 29, 2022, 10:55:17 PM
According to many studies and the opinions of experts in behavioral psychology, gambling-related behaviors can be controlled, whether to reduce addictive behaviors or avoid addiction for beginners;

In brief, You can deal well with your gambling problems by learning about it, addressing it, controlling what might drive you to gambling, and then getting support.

Is this possible according to your opinion and what are the tips that can be followed?
I think it's definitely possible, but it's going to be very difficult. But if you have will power, and just like any addiction, you can stop it. But your mind should be the first one to really to understand and tell you that it's time to stop. Maybe just do something different, to get out out gambling in your system. Talk to your families often as they are your support in this time. Again, channel your mind and tell yourself that gambling is not good and it will just make you lose money.
2250  Economy / Speculation / Re: This interesting Bitcoin chart is not dissapointing. on: June 29, 2022, 10:28:28 PM
As someone said, it's already invalidated, but the hype surrounding it last year was so high that it really captures the imagination of experience and newbie investors alike. Who wouldn't want to see bitcoin hitting 6 digits at the end of 2021?

Anyhow, we will see what's going to happen in the next bull run, as the model is being updated with new numbers so obviously there will be new target in 2024-2025.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 29, 2022, 11:11:41 AM
^^ Canelo though looks very angry at his every opponent, but against Bivol though, there seems to be no trash talk but look at what happen to him.

But we can' compare the two, I know it, and Canelo and GGG really hate each other that even at the start of the press conference, you can see dislike. And the feeling is mutual, although GGG seems to be subdue but for sure we want to get his win against Canelo.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 29, 2022, 09:17:52 AM
^^ If bookies can't agree on the odds as to who is the favorite or not, then it's going to be a close fight. But for sure as there are more Filipinos watching boxing from this community, of course they wanted Magsayo to be the underdog so that they will get their money's worth of Magsayo will win. For now, it seems that only the ML is listed, but yeah, why not take advantage of Mark as 2.x odds. Regardless of the venue though, I think this will be a good fight.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2022, 07:47:55 AM
It looks like Clippers will be pretty aggressive this 2022 free agency. Apart from Wall, they are targeting to add a few more:

Sources: John Wall, Rockets agree to contract buyout; Clippers likely to sign 5-time All-Star in free agency

^ Probably not a bad move if they could get them for cheap. Question now is who are they going to let go to free up the roster for the new guys? I hope the management don't break the core of this team. I think they only need one or two additions before they could challenge for the championship again.
I don't understand why the Clippers should do this if ever it happens.
They did great considering there's no Kawhi, no PG13 at most of their games and still made it to the play-in tournament. 2 big stars, that was what was lost during their fight. Like cutting off the head of a Hydra. No leader and yet they are giving every team a difficult time to win against them.
The Clippers have great role players but they just lack the firepower (well because they are injured) and I don't think John Wall is the answer to that. He is also one player that is prone to injuries. Imagine signing him and then 3 of them are all on the bench being paid.  Lips sealed
Clippers fans will be devastated.

I agree, but it seems that the Clippers are desperate right now, owner are willing to spent more just to get that championship next season and maybe they are hoping the Kawhi will be healthy and so is Paul George. So it could work for them short term, maybe 2-3 years of experimenting, and after that Clippers will have to rebuild again. And this could also be John Wall's last chance, so who knows, maybe he will try his best to protect his body.

Hi everyone hope you guys are doing great i just want to ask a quick question in last days Elon musk tweeted about the meme token doge and after that the meme tokens are trending so i found one good project named Hippoinu.io the first web 3.0 aggregator where user can earn rewards in all meme tokens and i think investing in this project is legit and they have a presale on pinksale on 26th june 14:00 UTC i am thinking to take part in the presale but i am scared of losing money so i need suggestions from you guys should i invest in it or not . I also share you website and website link
website: https://hippoinu.io/
whitepaper: https://hippoinu.io/whitepaper-en.pdf
Just another pump and dump here, sorry to burst the bubble for you. And we are in a bear market so everyone is going to pump the hell out of any coins that they are going to see from those social influencers including Elon Musk.

Of course they are legit, but the question is what it makes unique? Again, I'm not into this kind of investments, I would rather have solid coins in my porfolio, so just be careful, and might be better off specially if you are scared of losing your hard earn money.
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best time of the day to buy Bitcoin on: June 28, 2022, 12:44:52 PM
Nah, I don't think there is a best time since the market is open 24x7x365. So somewhere around the globe, it might be afternoon for traders, but on the other part, it might be midnight.

But I remember this report 2 years ago: New Analysis Finds That Mondays Are the Best Days to Buy Bitcoin.

There is some data presented in it, but then again, it's really up to us to believed on this report or not.
2256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2022, 11:12:42 AM

Westbrick should be cheap but he is actually $10 million more expensive than Kyrie. I don't know how the Lakers will do this. Or are they really serious to include AD in their trade deals?

Not sure if Lakers will be willing to do this, but if they are really aiming for another caliber roster, Kyrie + LeBron might be a good

1-2 go foundation, though it's still depends on how the future will dictate between these two teams, the offer may come back once the

league starts, changes can be done. After some negotiations, we never know how money will work with these possible deals.
I don't think that they are going to include AD, maybe some of their role players, Lebron and AD will likely to stay for at least one more run next season. We've already seen that Vogel's head was gone, so probably it will be Westbrook next then the veterans and then their role players.

The foundation will remain with Lebron and AD and how they are going to rebuild next season with a new coach. That's what they needed, a fresh start after that disaster last season.
2257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 28, 2022, 10:07:20 AM
The elimination of Hurkacz is certainly a big surprise but this year Fokina is playing at a high level.
Another fact that may come as a surprise but does not surprise me that much is the victory of a set by Kwon against Djokovic.
The Korean also managed to win a set from Alcaraz this year in the Barcelona tournament.
It seems to be a peculiarity of him to win at least one set against tournament favorites Grin
What is certain is that such a result makes me think that it is always VERY RISKY to bet on the exact number of set in a match... Wink
So much for the Hurkacz hype in this Wimbledon, Lol, I will admit that I fall for it and my multi bet was destroyed because of it. If I'm not mistaken, Fokina play very good in clay so it's surprising to see him win against Hurkacz.

Tough match for Raducanu against Van Uytvanck. I'm not totally sold on her performance so I thinking to bet against her on the next match. Don't think he can go as far as the quarter finals.
2258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To build your Professionalism on casino on: June 28, 2022, 09:22:56 AM
I think it will be more complicated for gamblers if they will have to follow this sort principles.

In the beginning, you can just play and have fun and that's it. And perhaps if you gained that experience maybe that's the time when you started to have your own strategy. You could have this plan in the beginning, but if you don't have the control then everything will go out of the window. So for me it's better to just play and entertain yourself at the start and then see how it goes.
2259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 25, 2022, 09:02:03 AM
I believe this year's draft will not bring in any superstars at all. I watched the "highlights" of the top 10, maybe someone out of top 10 could shock the world, but I watched top 10 only, and I can tell you that nothing really stood out for me.

These are highlights, so it supposed to be the videos that shows the best moves by those players, show their strengths, you do not see them missing 5 times in a row there, you see their dunks, their great shots, their blocks etc etc. And even with that, I didn't see any player that looked like it would be great. There is a tiny chance that rockets may have found a guy with jabari smith, but that is not because he looked special, it's because he fits their current core, nothing more.
Let's give them a chance. They are young, they are athletic and if they keep that up they will build more skills in NBA. Coaching here is different, training is way above since all of the trainers are being paid well unlike when they are in college. That is mostly raw skills that is not polished yet.
We cannot rely on just mere highlights yet because they will be doing more before the season starts and they will gain experience as time flies by.
Look at Ja Morant, all eyes were on Zion back then but now he is near the prime of his career at just a short span of time.
Yes, too early to judge as we haven't even see them playing their first NBA games. Of course the hype will be their, specially the top tier drafts and there could be pressures for them to perform in relation to their draft pick. They don't want to be a bust as what we have seen in every batch.. Let's wait for this young players, Scottie Barnes named was not even in the top of the list early, and yet he won the Rookie of the Year in very closed votes. So there could be surprises.
2260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today is the day on: June 25, 2022, 08:36:12 AM
It's either a generational buying opportunity with bitcoin being the most oversold it's ever been, or it's the end of bitcoin and it's finally dead LOL

It's more of an opportunity for me rather than thinking that this is the end for bitcoin. Every bear market, people says bitcoin is dead and they won't buy it anymore. They don't see it as an opportunity to buy at a very cheap price but once market starts going up again and bitcoin is pumping like crazy, people become euphoric when buying it. This is the time where whales are accumulating so you should do the same too not fomo when it's already almost at its peak.
It's always been an opportunity to all of us buying at the lowest of $17,500 no doubt about that. As for bitcoin being dead? it has been declared many times already but we always managed to get up and then goes on another all time high. This will be the case again in 2024. Maybe the perma-bears will have a good time trolling us, but once bitcoin goes up again, they will go hide under the rock and remain and hibernate.
