1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: What about the little increase? on: March 31, 2023, 07:50:58 PM
Do you see the recent increase bitcoin has come up with. I believe this is good sign that bitcoin will pump this year, we are still in the third month, looking at the middle of the year, something will surely bulls up. When I open my wallet I was surprise of the price from $23000 to $26000 that's cool for those who buys recently.

What did you think about the price? Will it pump soon
Well it's the end of the month now, and we have seen the price crossing $28k multiple times already. So you might be still in joy seeing the current price and hopefully you are not going to sell any and just continue to HODL as long as you can because the real game will begin next year as we will have the catalyst for a real and massive bull run which is the block halving.

So yeah, we might be bullish throughout this year, and maybe at the end, we might see the price around $40k-$50k.
Everything looks good in our end, at least the first three months of the year.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 31, 2023, 07:32:58 PM
John Riel Casimero promoter Masayuki Ito looks like he loves doing the fights in the Philippines.
Quote
Speaking with reporters this past weekend alongside the Filipino, Treasure Boxing Promotion chief and former boxer Masayuki Ito noted that all of their future plans regarding holding events in the Philippines are based on how much love Filipino fans will show to Casimero once he fights this May.
https://www.ibtimes.com/john-riel-casimeros-promoter-hopeful-more-philippines-based-events-moving-forward-3680954
This is good news for Filipino fans as we can literally watch him live if we want to. About the support that was being asked by his promoter, I don't doubt the Filipinos who do love the sport. I mean, our government should've been funding this industry more because we are really good at it instead of wasting money on sports that don't fit our heights.

Casimero will surely give out all his best attacks here and will try a knockout as fast as possible giving the fans something to cheer on again before the title fight of Nonito Donaire this Summer of 2023 against Alexandro Santiago. Maybe we will have another title holder before this year ends.

It is indeed a good news for us Filipino boxing fans because they are giving us a favor to support our fellow countryman live in his fight against Nghitumbwa, Casimero definitely need our utmost support because he is campaigning to make a close climb to the champions of this new division that he's into. It's just unfortunate that our government isn't funding to any kind of sports, even our athletes who are participating in the recent Olympics doesn't get any financial nor even moral support from the government, what more if it's about funding this industry.

Anyway, talking about Casimero, it's a good news that the fight will happen here in the Philippines, and he doesn't have to go to any foreign country to set a camp to adjust from their climate because here, he's already used by the weather and will not have any major challenges in his preparations towards this upcoming fight.
Of course, it will be good if his Filipino fans can watch him fight live in the Philippines. But I think it's better for him to be really stateside if he wants that big fight against Inoue or anyone in that division.

So all advantage is on Casimero as you have said, it will just take some training to really show his power against Nghitumbwa and make the money's worth watching their Filipino idol in the ring. It could be some pressure on his shoulder because everyone is expecting him to knockout his opponent though.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 31, 2023, 07:17:17 PM
Boston Celtics won by a blowout game but I didn't see any energy from the Bucks' usual defensive dedication. No bearing game, and as I watched it, the game almost look like a practice game or something like an All-Star. It's not enough to say it's the Celtics who have the upper hand when the playoff or finals come.
Tatum went nuts 8 of 10 in the 3-point line. Well, that says it all, lack of defense, and the Bucks are not really playing as tough as their past games, just protecting themselves to avoid injuries.
Yes, the shooting of Tatum is very high that night and no one can stop him in the Bucks side, and even if there is a hand on his face, or a step back, Tatum is very hot. And when teams like this are shooting very high percentage, it's hard for the other team to guard everyone.

The Nuggets on the other hand without Jokic are giving a lot of trouble for the Pelicans who badly need a win. They may be in the lead but Murray keeps on coming back and cutting the lead. 4th quarter is next.
Too bad for the backers of the Nuggets because they are a good favorite in this game. Suddenly in the last minute, Jokic was declared to be injured or something (hamstring?), and Murray or even Porter Jr can't carry the team to victory at home, just disappointing lost for the Nuggets and for their fans.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone here tried Gambling Arbitrage? on: March 31, 2023, 07:01:13 PM
As per my understanding, it is a strategy in which you can bet on all possible outcomes of an event and make your money no matter the outcome. I also understand that it requires careful research and analysis to identify suitable opportunities and place bets at the right time.

Right, that is the mechanics for a arbitrage, however, I haven't check how you can make money out of it.

Because for me, it's better to just bet one which you think you will likely to win.

I have also read that it is a low-risk betting strategy because a gambler can place bets on all possible outcomes with a guarantee to win regardless of the outcome of the event. Whereas, the profit margins are usually small, and it does take a significant amount of time and effort to identify suitable opportunities.

Might be but the thing is that most casinos will ban your account if they see that you are doing some form of arbitrage. We have read lots of scam accusations, in the past and if you see it, some of it are due to this arbitrage that casino's doesn't want to see it their platform as this is some kind of exploit to their system that they don't like.
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expectations for March?! on: March 31, 2023, 02:07:33 AM
are we always indoctrinated about the things that are reported, when they say recession it turns out the economy is recovering, and people sometimes feel annoyed because they feel lied to, regardless of whether it's true or not, I think we ourselves have to pay attention to that.
so i think price for btc in march will rise until june.
Well in our end though, regardless of where we live in or what country we are, recessions will always be  there specially right after the pandemic, we don't know if our government can recovered, so not sure how you feel that you are being lied to by your government.

It's about to close this month and most likely $28k is the price.

Let's not look for March though, let's look at the first 3 months of it, from our lowest low of around $15k, it seems that we have grown so much maybe 70% or more in 2023 so that is a huge gain already. So I also expect that we are going to be very bullish.
1246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is improving I guess? on: March 30, 2023, 02:23:14 PM
We are more likely to experience better end of the year, as of last two weeks Bitcoin was $23,000 but I can see some impressive changes hopefully the ends or mid of the year will make significant changes in price. Though am not excited much because  even if it pumps I might not enjoy the fat price, I bought when the price is high but now you will pity my wallet. Anyway we're sure of better 2023.
Currently, the price is $28,375, so if you saw the price at $23,000 in the last two weeks then you have to revisit it again. And for sure you are going to be impressed more with the sudden price spike in the last 2 days.

If you have bought it higher that the current price, (assuming its' $30k or more), then the best thing for you to do is just HODL. And if you are looking for a long  term investment in BTC then you can still can accumulate at this price, and again don't sell and look for the bull run next year.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 30, 2023, 01:17:36 PM
And with that, if the Mayweather-McGregor fight was big that time, maybe this fight could be comparable at least in terms of PPV numbers. Even Oscar was hype about this and he said that it could break PPV records. But we all know that it's coming from him as he promotes Ryan Garcia.

I don't think the PPV revenue of the upcoming fight between these two boxers will come anywhere close to that of Mayweather vs McGregor. Mayweather was widely considered the best fighter of his era and had many detractors, which actually helped attract more fans.

However, neither of these two fighters have that level of popularity. There are other popular boxers in higher divisions that have more widespread appeal. While I believe they will sell a significant amount of PPV, we cannot compare it to the enormous revenue generated by Mayweather's mega-fights.
And it could be different right now as there are a lot who shared free PPV and boxing fans are looking for it so they won't buy because that's is going to be very expensive. Yeah, why not, we can say or estimates that it might be around 500,000 to as high as 1 million, I reckon. So it's going to be way below the Mayweather records, like the McGregor and Manny Pacquiao fight. Don't believed Oscar, he is delusional if he thinks that this fight can break PPV numbers. It might not even be in the top 10.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 30, 2023, 12:52:15 PM
Last night was the first time I saw Westbrook have an MVP-worthy performance. With Leonard and Paul George absent, he took charge of the game and led the Clippers to a big win against Memphis with a full roster. Westbrook scored 36 points on 13-18 shooting and added 10 assists, effectively turning back the clock with his play.

That was the kind of game the Lakers badly needed from him but it seems like he can't do that freely because of the pressure against him at the Clippers, he has some teammates to rely on and it's working because they are now getting more wins in this circus runs in the western conference and it is the most important thing he can contribute to the team because they need him to play on that level, especially in the NBA playoffs. Let's just hope they won't get choked this time.
It's too bad that in 2 seasons with the Lakers, we didn't see that kind of performance from him. On the other hand, it's worst, outside shooting, his turn overs and late game choke from him.

So maybe this is just a blip in his performance with the Clippers, it could be good if he can do that again with Leonard on the floor or even Paul George if he can come back in the playoffs. For now the haters of Westbrook can't say anything about this performance of his beating the number 2 seed with their winning streak on the line.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 30, 2023, 12:28:14 PM
This is an easy Casimero fight. Yes, he loves to train and he's not that careless anymore. He may have been like sort of boastful but that's just for the audience behind the camera, he knows what he's doing. It may look like that he's careless and belittling his opponents on the camera but that's not all about it. That's just to add value for the emotions of his fans for them to watch more of his fights but he's a titled champion, and not just one title so he knows really exactly what he's doing and he's got the upperhand winning against his opponent for this match since he's got more experience.

He will definitely trained hard and maybe look for a knockout, he needs to win impressively and send a message to the rest of the super bantamweight fighters. This is an opportunity for him to show that he still got it, can knock out his opponents. And yes, usually if you have new manager you want to show them that they are correct in picking you up. And I believed that he is still chasing that big money fight against Inoue and so he pick a Japanese manager because it's going to be an advantage for him to negotiate as both are Japanese. So good move for him to get out of MP or whoever his last manager is.
Yeah, that's giving the message to those that are just waiting for him to fight. He's preparing for this and doesn't want an inch of a mistake to be done.
I just don't know if he's still chasing Inoue but that might be seen in the future as of now, he needs to focus on his upcoming fight and that's just 2 months from now. It can be lesser time but it's an advantage for him since the match will be done on his upper hand.
I think he is still chasing Inoue, maybe he doesn't have the belt to chase him right now because he is just a rank boxer in this division and se he has to slowly build his reputation again at 122 lbs. And when the time comes that he is prime again in this division, he might call Inoue again.

And so with this fight, just another stepping stone for him, first is Akaho, which doesn't look good in his resume because it's controversial.

But if he can win with a big knockout here so maybe he will be notice again and given the chance to fight for the belt by WBO.
1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can do 30k$ this month? on: March 30, 2023, 12:12:18 PM

Do you still believe that bitcoin will reach a price of $30k before the end of March? Just a few days remain in March, and the price of bitcoin is still bouncing between $27k and $28k, not yet ready to rise to the anticipated price of $30k as we had anticipated.

Well, nothing is yet impossible in the crypto market, but does the market really need up to 48 hours to spike up if it's really going to? N.  I speculate $30,000 before the end of the month, which right now I don't know if that would be possible, but I know there still can be some leap with any little chance, like yesterday when the price dropped to $26k but it's now at $27k+.

it climbed back to 28k and above with more than 24 hours more so maybe it will or not> that does not matter anymore because no need to look for that as the next quarter will tell us what to expect again.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

just now the market is booming so lets see how it works for the next day or tomorrow.

Yes, but the resistance of $28,500 needs to be broken first before we can get to $30k at the end of month. So the bulls are still pushing for it, although we are maintaining that price level right now, it's going to be hard because the resistance is too big right now.

And we are just about 24 hours before the end of the month and we might not get to that $30k.

With that above $28k would be the best price and then $30k would be open for us in April.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance establishes another regional hub in Europe amid US spat on: March 29, 2023, 09:08:46 PM

I think Binance and CZ is slowly steering away from the big USA market and it is all because of the many problems it is encountering in trying to fulfill the demands of the governmental regulators. One of the big main area of concern is the lack of clear regulatory framework to work with in USA...and I think this is also the big complaint of many in this industry against SEC and related agencies. No matter how hard a platform is trying its best, when things are not yet stably established then it can be so difficult to wriggle in. I am then glad that Binance is now setting its eyes on new market and making sure that relationships are forged which can be helping it in many ways into the future. Welcome to Georgia!
Yeah, obviously this is the case right now for CZ, I mean they have their Binance.US but not sure if this is enough for the regulators to allow him to trade in their soil. And with the recent litigation by CFTC, CZ will have to find a way to get back and then steer away from US.

He already have his presence in Asia already. And so Europe will be the obvious target for him.

It's big and at least regulators are very open there, so good move for CZ and his Binance to conquer another continent.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: March 29, 2023, 08:46:09 PM
@LUCKMCFLY, I hope this news is not fake. It would be a huge disappointment if the fight does not happen after all the anticipation and hype surrounding it. Let's hope they ensure that the fight takes place this time. Otherwise, it would be a waste of effort and time, and many fans might lose interest in boxing altogether.
I agree, I wouldn't put too much emphasized on that news, because it's just another clickbait article from that news site although it just pertain to boxing. And I have check other boxing sites and there are no reports about the Spence vs Crawford fight, so I would refrain from posting that kind of news until either of the announced it publicly that they are going to fight. The first negotiation is messy and we are all expecting that it will happen, but it didn't as it broke down because of the financials of the fight. So it's better to wait first before we all get excited.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 29, 2023, 08:26:58 PM
If someone would have asked me where do I see Heat before the season starts , I would have answer most likely with achieving NBA finals without any doubts. Now , I'm not even sure they will have a deep playoff tournament because lately this team is super shaky and barely makes important victories and the victories that are coming , are with teams from bottom of standings.. . I really hope Heat are aware of this and they are trying to change what is not working for them. Smiley
I have to disagree though, I mean yeah sure they went to the finals in the bubble against the Lakers and probably that is the best version of the Heat since their last championship with DWade and Lebron.

But after that, they went downhill, although nothing much has chance in the lineup, they didn't have the success that they had after that final run. It seems that Butler and Bam and others have grown up apart and the team need a change next season if they want to be more competitive and reach the finals again. Coach Spo has done his best with the current lineup and it's not working.
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going To See $30,000 Price Before the End of This week on: March 29, 2023, 08:06:14 PM
Good rebound in the last 24hr and its now back above weekly average, appearing quite positive.  However price stays within the same range it had prior, the reason for hesitancy will be the resistance that proved support both in 2022 and 2021.   We have been sideways since Mid March and prior for many weeks at this price, it can easily take that long to beat this ceiling on the way back up.
A recovery above 30k wont be overdue until yearly average is trending higher, thats still some time yet; 200 day is gaining so some might think this is enough for a push higher right now.
Yes, surprisingly, we have a good bounce after a minor correction, haven't check the news but I have a feeling that bulls is trying not just to defend $28k, but most likely pushing it $30k at the end of the month.

The highest price I see is $28,500 and then it goes down, but still though, it ranges from $28,3xx-$28,4xx, so even if we are in the sideways movement in the second half of March, the price is still look solid, it's just normal to see resistance right now.
1255  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to use crypto to miximize profits through sport betting. on: March 28, 2023, 07:40:22 PM
Do you want to maximize your profits while betting on sports but don't know where or how to start? Crypto is rapidly going traction as an investment opportunity, and now you can use digital currency while playing all type of sport betting
What do you mean? we already have a lot of crypto based casinos in the last couple of years, specially during and after the pandemic. So for sure gamblers knows how to used crypto for sports betting.

If you are going to give us some tips for sports betting then good for us, if not then obviously, majority here have the experience already with their crypto and most likely we won't go back to fiat based online games.
1256  Other / Meta / Re: Forum observation and polite suggestions on: March 28, 2023, 07:15:57 PM
This is not like a service or something, this is a community, so obviously there will be no live support or anything for that nature.

And just like in real life, if you are new to a community, then it's better to ask people around about the law or rules. And then search this forum for more information. We don't like spoon feeding newbies here, you really need to grow and become mature. Again, I will suggest that you go around and play for sure  there are a lot of threads already and you might find the answers to your questions, just saying.
1257  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your take on the price? on: March 28, 2023, 06:51:09 PM
I have really undermine the price of bitcoin this time considering when I buy at a high price I can't even look at my capital twice because if sometimes I should just stop checking anythiny relating to bitcoin especially internet. What's your take on the price?
For me, it is still a good price to buy, we are still in bear market, so consider it cheap. Of course the best time to buy is last year when we go down to $15,500 and that is the lowest low that we have in this bear market.

However, we can't go back to that price anymore, just like when we did see $3k'ish during March 2020 when we heard news about the whole pandemic. So you really have to think at the price right now, could be good entry point still and then wait till the next bull run 2024-2025. As per my experience, you should go with long term investment here.
1258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 28, 2023, 06:36:23 PM
Canelo had his hand operation in October and had Improved a lot from the Surgery. His coach also discussed about this, the Canelo will back to form before the Mexico matches. In Mexico matches,he will face the Ryder for the second time.Bivol had won the Canelo and Canelo had a wish to win the Bivol on the Mexico league too. When the match of Canelo with Ryder,he can easily able to win the good amount of money from that match. He should use the match very well to gain good money for his future settlement. The money earning options against Bivol will not work for him in this Mexico match.
We don't know how his hands will be unless we see him fight John Ryder. Of course, they chose him because it's going to be an easy fight for Canelo and to really test and feel that hand first in this fight. And maybe after that he will have to decide if they will go or at least Bivol is wiling for a rematch with Canelo.

Speaking of David Benavidez, his team specially his father wanted a clash with Canelo.

David said Canelo need to test himself against fighter of his caliber. And for him, with a win against Plant, he deserves to be the next in line for Canelo after his John Ryder fight.
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 28, 2023, 12:31:54 PM

As per checking this unpopular boxer, at least in my own boxing vocabulary, Filipus Nghitumbwa is currently ranked number 10 by the WBO.

He's not ranked by other major boxing-sanctioning organizations, WBC, WBA, and IBF.

Don't know how Casimero ended up negotiating a deal with Nghitumbwa but regardless, it's good that he didn't remain idle for long waiting for his next fights. Again, just as Casimero did against Akaho on his debut fight at 122, he just needs to again to impress the boxing community with an impressive win as that might result again in improving his rank which will give him more opportunity to settle a deal with top-ranked boxers.
I think that's the most important thing for Casimero, just last December he had a fight with Akaho which didn't turn out good for him. And so with a new manager promoter, it's just time for Casimero to look for a fight and so he won't have that ring rust and he will be active even if it is against a fighter that his lower rank and we never heard before.

He is not getting any younger, although he is still in the peak of his career. But he needs to be active if he still wants to become a world champion in this new division because he still can do it.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a casino ever run without the government's awareness? on: March 28, 2023, 11:38:05 AM
Is it possible to run a decentralized gambling platform? I know that all popular gambling platforms have no choice but to be transparent to the law to have a steady business running, but with the introduction of CBDC and yes a registered gambling platform has no choice but to accept CBDC too, and I don't trust this centralized currency, I believe CBDC will have the capability to monitor incoming and outgoing funds, so that is what makes me think if it's possible to run a decentralized gambling platform at all.
By this time it's going to be difficult to run a platform that is not transparent to government or to any crypto regulators. We are now in a point wherein they are hot on our tails because maybe they want to tax or simply doesn't want to give their control.

And as you have said, with CBDC just around the corner.

It's just a matter of time that they will take control of us, through monitoring, including our gambling habits.
