how long usually:
Processing and pre-fabrication
takes?

Thank you.

That depends on how quickly our supplier sends the aluminium extrusions to us - typically just a few days:) You can our delivery and returns policy on the link at the bottom of the page to give you an idea of worst-case-scenarios:)

I wanted to order a few of them but you don't ship to switzerland?

We definitely do - did it not give you any shipping options during checkout?

Do you have a case for ASICMINER blade + backplane + PSU + fan mounts?

We're in the process of finalising a design for this - the tough thing is making sure the fabricated prototype works without buying a whole setup. We're getting there!

Can i get one for a 10 Blade block erupter setup?

We're looking at it right now to see what needs to be done to support that and the backplane:)

Just browsed on my phone.  Those look clean!  I like the standalone unit.

I take it if I get the 4 GPU version that it is not as large as the 8 GPU version?  The picture just makes it seem so big and I only currently have 3 GPUs but am looking to get a 4th one very soon.

Yes - the 8 GPU is pictured, the 4 GPU unit is not as wide, just over half of the 8 GPU unit. Should've made that clear somewhere, sorry about that:)

Any plans for a 10 blade + backplane frame?

We'd love to - can you link me to tech specs of the blades and backplane so we can take a look at the fabrication requirements?

I will have to check this out when I get home since my stupid work computer is running IE8 and doesn't like your website lol

Definitely looking for a new case though, since the milk-crate is just not very attractive and kind of a pain in the ass to work with!

Ah sorry - IE8 is one of the browsers I haven't tested against:) It is 100% mobile and tablet ready, though, so feel free to browse on any device!

2252  Other / Meta / Re: Is the Government Done Hacking the Forums? on: October 07, 2013, 05:16:27 PM
But what if the intent of the hack was to disrupt the bitcoin community rather than to gather information?

Utterly absurd - they didn't touch Reddit or take down the IRC channel on Freenode (both of which they could've done quite easily). Bitcointalk is FAR from the only gathering place. There is no logical reason to conclude that the government was behind this, not least of which is the sloppy post-hack defacement.
2253  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: Advanced Mining Technology (AMT) on: September 30, 2013, 07:09:50 AM
Who is their Design House, Who is their FAB, Where are the miners assemble, where is their factory, Who are there? their background and linkedln profile?

Several of those questions go deep into "secret sauce" territory. I honestly don't think they're under any obligation to detail that - largely because it's irrelevant, but also because it is incredibly dangerous to dish that information out. A company background can be fabricated nonsense, and a LinkedIn profile is certainly no measure of legitimacy.

That having been said...as has been pointed out, there are several forum members in the vicinity that can go through and look at the units (I'm in South Africa, otherwise I'd volunteer;) and these guys don't seem to be as cagy about visits as BFL. I second the request for more pics and videos for those that are too far away to visit. Their openness with regards to their physical address and phone contacts also open them up for a legal pounding if this is a blatant scam. Right now I don't think we're in "if it quacks like a duck" territory.

Why has the MEMEcoin Github disappeared?

I'm not entirely sure how that would work? It may launch with a CUDA-only miner, but that can be reverse-engineered to work with OpenCL.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: worst looking cripto currency exchange ever on: August 31, 2013, 06:45:27 PM

As bad as I despise Coinhunter, he hired a good designer to create mcxNOW.

~BCX~

Dude, as much as I think mcxNOW is a great exchange with a solid backend, the look-and-feel is awful. How does NOT have a responsive layout (and preferably a flat UI) in 2013?

i saw this picture a year ago

Do your research. This system was featured about a year ago (http://arstechnica.com/security/2012/12/25-gpu-cluster-cracks-every-standard-windows-password-in-6-hours/), but Bitweasil is well-known as being part of Stricture, so he's not kidding.

That's my fourth favourite novel. Great storyline. Not enough pictures, though.
