its PPC but not a neobux system oder any other kiddie-like site.

the Provider is not that public.

i dont know what to say, you all waiting for the secret. before i share my secret, i stop the service.

Nobody is asking you to reveal your secret. But the model does need to make sense. If, for instance, you can earn money on clicks, what do you need the Bitcoin investment for?
1762  Economy / Securities / Re: mBTC Investment chance - Weekly Cashout on: May 12, 2014, 08:31:33 PM
Based on what I can tell from your posts, this is based on a PPC system (pay-per-click)? If so, how is the money earned and what do you need investments for? You said no BTC is spent, so why do you need it to begin with?

1763  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Openrigs.com STAY AWAY! on: May 12, 2014, 04:12:32 PM
I actually received mine 3 days before the 6 month day.  Hey fluffy, how come we didnt get the connect-it crimping tool?  Mines loose and is falling apart.  Its come so late, im going to reuse it for something more useful.

It should hold its form once it's put together - there isn't a crimping tool as the aluminium wall is too thick to work with.

Did you order with the nut-and-bolt kit? Because then you can also use that to secure it, or the other option is to use some epoxy if you want a permanent-ish hold without the "ugly" nuts and bolts:)
1764  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Openrigs.com STAY AWAY! on: May 12, 2014, 02:57:54 PM
Same here, order #1700 nothing received and many vague answers from support by a Thandiwe and some other people before her. One even proposing to pay more for a faster shipping claiming they would have collected the item at the custom and re-shipped it (that thanks god I didn't). Or scam to use customer money to build their mining farm (the CEO also runs a mining farm) or blatantly unprofessional. Stay away.

Your order has shipped and is on its way to Kyrgyzstan, I'm not sure I understand the problem. If Thandiwe offered that as a choice it could have been been because your order was at the docks waiting for a vessel bound for that destination. Either way, your order only handed to customs ~6 weeks ago and has only been in transit for a few weeks. As I'm certain you're aware, the shipping method you chose had the transit timeline listed on the shipping method, so going back and checking the email received with your order will clarify that.
1765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Private IPO] VertPay - Vertcoin Payment Gateway on: May 12, 2014, 02:14:13 PM
To get back to this. For those that missed it, over the past ~48 hours (from Saturday night our time) there's been a systemic attack of VertPay by smearing me and alluding that VertPay is a scam-by-association. While this is blatantly untrue, it would appear that the Vertcoin community as a whole either do not want this IPO to continue or are unsure and swing this way and that. Thus we have decided to shutter the IPO and switch VertPay back to the original focus on launching with several currencies.

You can read more about the decision here.

Those that are still interested in investing in their private capacity under similar terms to the IPO, please contact me via PM or using the details / form on the site. We will continue unabated and unstopped:)
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Private IPO] VertPay - Vertcoin Payment Gateway on: May 12, 2014, 02:04:54 PM
Lol another IPO ? Well, good luck finding investors.

This is the securities sub-forum...where securities post details about things like, you know, IPOs...Smiley

Shush my child. Some people cannot read.

Ironically it got moved to the Altcoin Marketplace sub after saying that...c'est la vie:)
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MRO Monero trading thread and OTC xchg (bid 100 ask 110 last 100) on: May 12, 2014, 06:28:45 AM
Simple question, why make a site that a thread handles better?

There now stop trying to sound like its all sound and logical to run such exchange.

It wont last long if it continues at this rate when its only one person running and handling withdrawals manually.

its useless and only for the bounty which should not be considered for it as its just a site to LIST not exchange as it should.

Oh don't get me wrong - OTC has its place, I've done a ton of trades on #bitcoin-otc on Freenode over the last year or so. But for significant volume you need a proper exchange where you can setup buy and sell positions.

The point of an exchange is not to support rapid withdrawals, but to support rapid trades and shifting market positions. It's also important for the trade book to show cumulative positions at a rate, not individual positions (as the thread does), and for all those positions to remain anonymous (since the funds are already guaranteed by bing deposited).

To say a thread can handle it "better" misses the point - entirely - of an exchange.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MRO Monero trading thread and OTC xchg (bid 100 ask 110 last 100) on: May 12, 2014, 05:59:34 AM
I regeret trading on https://cryptonote.exchange.to it takes long for withdrawals and the trades are surely bullshit members.

@David dont message me again saying Im fudding MRO, its just the truth.

Worse attempts to control a coin ever. kthxbai

Wecome back

Too bad I put the coins on there for now never again until they get staff or automate withdrawals

I have a large number of open positions on the exchange, and I was literally the first deposit to clear (there were only two very small open positions on the exchange at the time). The trades are valid. Deposits are automated.

Withdrawals don't concern me if they are manual at this stage. TheKoziTwo is a known entity, and it is his exchange. Additionally, I spent a great deal of time trying to get a quick script I wrote to flush my mining wallet to my main wallet in chunks (to consolidate inputs), and I can tell you that the Bytecoin simplewallet RPC API is very borky. Documentation specifies a trailing slash on the RPC URL (incorrect), and hitting the "transfer" method comes back with a dsts.empty error from wallet2.h (when the destinations are not empty). So if the exchange is struggling with MRO automation I'm neither surprised nor worried.

If you've solved the simplewallet RPC API issues please do tell us so we can all benefit from your wisdom.
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin | Scrypt N | Beat ASICs on: May 11, 2014, 06:30:07 PM
Well then it was my bad, but why was the original plan to dump the coins?

We didn't have a working multi-sig wallet for Vertcoin, and I'm not going to risk one person (including myself) having access to all the coins. Multi-sig (3 of 5 in this case) means that three out of five of us designated have to sign each transaction with our private keys. So to steal money from the company we'd need to collude with 2 other people. I don't underestimate the honesty of the people involved, but it's a protection mechanism so there's no temptation.

I just can't see how asking 200,000 VTC ($200k USD) for 20% of the company and then dumping those 200k coins for BTC would be benefical for Vertcoin.

Hi Ymer.

Is really that the case?
I've been reading and didn't read about the dumping for BTC.
Could you share that info?

Thanks,
mega

fluffypony said that in his IPO thead in the marketplace forum, he then later edited the OP to change that. here's the original quote: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=595754.msg6548987#msg6548987

The IPO is going to raise a total of 200 000 VTC. To do this, VertPay will authorise 1 million shares (1 000 000), and issue a block of 200 000 of them at a nominal value of 1 VTC each. On Monday, May 12th, 2014, a Vertcoin deposit address will be made available on the VertPay.com website, and investors will be able to send a round number of Vertcoin to that address. Vertcoin received will immediately be converted to Bitcoin in order to be stored in a multi-signature wallet in order to prevent the misuse of invested funds by any person within the company. In the event of an oversubscription of issued shares, VertPay's management team will decide whether to issue new shares to meet the oversubscription, or whether to refund those that have invested too late.

And in some point he backpedalled and edited it to this after the backslash and being called a scam:

The IPO is going to raise a total of 200 000 VTC. To do this, VertPay will authorise 1 million shares (1 000 000), and issue a block of 200 000 shares at a nominal value of 1 VTC per share. On Monday, May 12th, 2014, a Vertcoin deposit address will be made available on the VertPay.com website, and investors will be able to send a round number of Vertcoin to that address. A portion of the Vertcoin received will be converted to Bitcoin in order to be stored in a multi-signature wallet and thus prevent the misuse of invested funds by any person within the company. In the event of an oversubscription of issued shares, VertPay's management team will decide whether to issue new shares to meet the oversubscription, or whether to refund those that have invested too late.

You're mistaken. We changed it quite soon after the announcement and long before there was backlash (not backslash) or any accusations were thrown around.

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=595754.msg6561541#msg6561541 for instance.

We did clarify that we would not be dumping most of the coins. We have made progress on multi-sig in Electrum Vert, and so we will be using that to secure funds. A portion of the VTC will be shifted into a BTC multi-sig wallet just to minimise any multi-sig risk (although we will have the multi-sig privkeys in WIF format, so funds cannot be lost even if we struggle with the multi-sig stuff;) but we won't be dumping VTC.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin | Scrypt N | Beat ASICs on: May 11, 2014, 05:42:25 PM
I think we all can agree that VertPay IPO is a scam.

Vertcoin on the other hand is legit and full of potential.

That's really not the consensus at all. You sound like the guys that said Moolah was a scam...and yet here we are with Moolah being held up as an example of legitimacy against VertPay. Everyone needs to make their own mind up.

You can't honestly point to articles on a site you own and expect us to take it seriously?

we welcome all Companies from there without a listing setup fee of 1 BTC " just show us your cryptostocks listing "

your shares on BitcoinBourse.eu now! - the Wallstreet for Bitcoins!

I don't think you know what Wall Street is. I think you may be trying to claim that you're the NASDAQ for Bitcoins, which is beyond laughable.
1774  Economy / Securities / Re: mBTC Investment chance - Weekly Cashout on: May 10, 2014, 09:10:25 PM
Total lost was meaned by the invest. the security for the wallets will be great. everything is safe!

That's utter nonsense. It is a known risk if you have a hot wallet in play, and trying to hide the risk shows that you are not ready for an investment of any kind.
1775  Economy / Securities / Re: mBTC Investment chance - Weekly Cashout on: May 10, 2014, 08:51:52 PM
A TOTAL LOST OF COINS IS IMPOSSIBLE.

What if you lose the private key or you get hacked when the coins are in your wallet? It's naive to promise this, and if you're not smart enough to present realistic risks to investors you're not smart enough to seek funding.
1776  Economy / Securities / Re: mBTC Investment chance - Weekly Cashout on: May 10, 2014, 07:44:21 PM

@fluffypony read please: ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344219.0 ) that is the only reason why we close topics!

@twentyseventy topics are open now!

Announcements for new listings of any Company Shares is not spam!

Thank you for your attention !

The future is still here ! Welcome to BitcoinBourse.eu

That thread is hilarious, but your reasoning is still nonsensical. I've disagreed with pankkake before (on the subject of altcoins) and he's called me an idiot and I've told him he's wrong. So what? I'm not in school where everyone has to be lovely to each other. I'm an adult, he's an adult, any conversation with two thinking adults that don't agree on a topic may get heated. If you can't adequately defend yourself in public you don't deserve to run a business - any business - much less one seeking outside investment.
1778  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitcoinBourse: the biggest scam in Bitcoin securities today on: May 10, 2014, 02:47:57 PM
We're getting paid by a French competitor? I've checked my PayPal, various crypto wallets, as well as my bank accounts, and I can't find any payments from a Frenchman or that are unrelated to my businesses. Can you point me in the direction of this payment so I can cash out and live the high life?

Have you considered that maybe - possibly - nobody's getting paid to say anything negative, and all the negativity is because you're simply full of nonsense? Just a thought. Use it, don't use it.
1779  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitcoinBourse: the biggest scam in Bitcoin securities today on: May 09, 2014, 09:56:06 PM
Firstly, Peter, excellent response above. Really made me take a step back and rethink.

Until now..

They charge a 30 BTC fee?

Their largest stock by a mile is their own stock. This just makes them a huge Ponzi scheme no?

All this talk of failing stocks on havelock, when was the last time mpex listed a successful stock?

You don't have to pay the fee unless you have a specific reason to (institutional investor, etc.)

Just use a brokerage like CoinBr (which is cheap as chips), here's my referral link: https://coinbr.com/ref?c=M1rswGFFjv
1780  Economy / Securities / Re: [Cryptostocks] Coinpal - Cryptocurrency Exchange & Profit Switching Mining Pool on: May 09, 2014, 09:20:31 PM
You know you're cheap when you can't even afford a logo.

You know you're destined to fail when you compensate by stealing someone else's copyrighted work for your logo.

But hey, everything that has happened before will happen again.

Yeah I laughed at that but apparently Ryan G was completely unaware Fallout Boy was even a thing so he had the logo revoked but remains to see what he wants to do that.

I didn't know it was "a thing" either. It looked vaguely familiar and I did a reverse image search. Trying to explain it thusly just makes the operator look incompetent rather than scammy, which I'm not sure is a step up.
