2281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a right time to buy some ethereum?. on: October 15, 2021, 10:52:20 AM
Ethereum looks very Bullish now and likely to hit 4K in few days if Bitcoin remains Bullish. Once Ethereum's major upgrade occurs sometime in late 2021 or early 2022, one simulation estimates that the circulating supply of Ethereum could shrink by around 1.4% each year at current rates of fee burning. Is this the right time to collect eth and wait till upgrade happen?.

I still see a lot of potential for Ethereum if they can deliver with their upcoming upgrades and the full transition to PoS by next year. If this really works out as the Ethereum Dev-Team has imagined and promised and the ETH-fees will go down again to a value that is affordable and acceptable for everyday users and small traders that are doing transactions with values of below 100$, then i think Ethereum can really do another rally to 5k $ and even more, but if they fail to deliver i would guess that the price will also go down drastically. I personally would not invest into ETH anymore as i was not one of the early investors and i personally just don't want to invest into a project where others already made a x5000 with.
2282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 14, 2021, 01:00:04 PM
Does anyone think there will be a 4th match for these two fighters? the last match was great but I don't think that Wilder accepted his defeat I think there are some allegations that Wilder ask to open up the gloves of Fury which I think is ridiculous.

I don't think that we will see a 4th fight between them if i remember correctly then Wilder already had to use his laywers to make that third fight happen because Fury was planning to fight against Joshua as far as i know. I also think that boxing fans would also not be to thrilled to see the same fight for the 4th time in a row, at least that is true for me. It became obvious in all three fights that Fury is the far superior boxer in terms of technical skills and that Wilder has the hardest punch of all active boxers but that is pretty much it.
I also think that the allegations of Wilder are pretty ridiculous and that he will regret that he makes those allegations and also his ridiculous excuse about his to heavy costume in the second fight.
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is best and safest STABLE coin? on: October 14, 2021, 12:45:44 PM
Hi Friends,

as you are aware there are several stable coins such as USDT, USDC, BUSD, DAI  and so on.   Among them, I know that Tether-USDT can be frozen. Source: https://www.dcforecasts.com/tether-news/tether-is-now-able-to-freeze-and-destroy-your-usdt-coins-report/

In my opinion there is really no difference between bank and USDT if they can freeze coins. So, I am just wondering, if you have any preferred stable coins which is safe and can't be frozen etc.

I wish to convert some of the coins to stable coins for next bull run.  So, your suggestions will be very much appreciated  Smiley

What also needs to be considered regarding USDT is the fact that we can not be safe anymore if every USDT that is minted by them is still backed by a real US Dollar because back in 2019 they changed the wording regarding that from "Every USDT is backed by a real USD" to "We have enough reserves to back every USDT minted with a real USD". So we don't have any possibility to verify this reserves and if they exist we don't know in what form those reserves exist.
Personally i have switched to USDC a few months ago. USDC belongs to coinbase and they are, as a US company, audited pretty regularly so the reserves for USDC should be safe.

As of typing this, they're on the draft phase and it's making me excited and at the same time worried whoever lose this best of 3 and goes home with $800,400 as 9th-12th placer still not bad, what a prize.

Yeah the price pool of the TI is really huge and 800k for a 12th place is a lot of money. No wonder that the preparation of the teams is basically only focused on the TI because the other tournaments even the majors have a way lower price pool. To the match of T1 vs. Alliance i think that T1 is the favorite here. They showed a great performance so far and even managed to take away a game from PSG. LGD which is the big favorite to win the TI this year, while Alliance's performance have been pretty disappointing so far and they went directly into the lower bracket. The first 15 minutes of game 1 look still pretty even at the moment though.
2285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market activity on: October 14, 2021, 08:34:06 AM
I love this sub. But I feel it lacks information when a certain crypto is booming or plunging. Why is it no one comments their thought real time.

Well i think a forum is not the perfect place for real time information and thought exchange, it is more for general advice and to have a chat about general stuff that is valid for more than just a few minutes. For real time conversations and updates and stuff like that you need to join telegram or other messagers. Also even though i think that it would be possible and pretty easy for bitcointalk to implement a chatbox (they exist as premade modules) i don't think this would add much value to this forum in the end all those chatboxes are just full of people that are shilling their own coin even if it is a total sh*t-project. You just need to look at the chatboxes of exchanges to see that.
2286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: October 13, 2021, 04:58:37 PM
Joshua has been known for come back after a devastating defeat and that makes this JOSHUA vs USYK II exciting as when he fought against Ruiz for the second time. Their strategy works to beat Ruiz and if they can execute the same working strategy then he can easily regain back and might have the chance to fight Fury in his next match.

I think you can not really compare the fights and also the rematches of Joshua vs Ruiz and now Usyk. Back then it was a huge surprise that ruiz managed to win against Joshua and even managed to knock him down 3 times. Then in the second fight Joshua dominated Ruiz and won his title back in a relatively convincing way. If you look at Joshuas fight vs Usyk then the experts and also the fans were by far not so convinced that Joshua was the big favorite again here. This was mainly because Joshua lost his nimbus of being undefeated against Ruiz and of course also because Usyk is a much better boxer in comparison to Ruiz.
So i don't see Joshua as the big favorite against Usyk in their rematch.
2287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginning of massive breakout? on: October 13, 2021, 04:50:37 PM
Litecoin Cash is pumping hard for 2 weeks, do you think that's the breakout point?
It's really irrational, cause Litecoin is falling atm. Opportunity?

If you want to sell your sh*t-coin then at least try to do it in a more subtle way or be honest about it and tell everyone that you own this coin yourself and that is a pure shill post. As others in this thread already mentioned, litecoin cash is a simple fork coin that has no real added value in comparison to the real litecoin. Also i don't see a hard pump of your coin. If you compare it to other project that really pumped hard in the last few weeks than the performance of litecoin cash is average at best. Also the daily trading volume is way to low with only 10k $ to attract a lot of investors because the liquidity is just to low.
2288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 13, 2021, 10:36:23 AM

Murray pulled out a good fight but in the end it was Zverev who won in 2 sets with 6-4 and 7-6. Even though the odds were nice, I wouldn't have placed a bet on him. Wasn't able to see the match, but if someone has seen it, how did Murray look ?

I also only managed to watch the first two games of the first set before i fell asleep, because it was already 1am here in europe, but until then Murray started quite well as he was able to win his service game and even managed to break Zverev for a 2-0 lead, but it also looked like that this was more caused by a very unfocused and sloppy start of Zverev. In his second service game Murray already had big problems to win it and it was deuce a couple of times if i remember correctly and i would guess that from this point on Zverev started to play more focused and aggressively and dominated the game. Still a good effort from Murray though.
2289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm sure altcoins will pump if we hold long on: October 13, 2021, 10:22:23 AM
Each holder will definitely have their own interests, but the true holder will definitely be stronger to plant crypto in a long time. So if we want to cuan, have to save coins for a long time. If you agree or disagree, please give me good feedback. thanks

I agree with you. Of course you can always be more efficient and make bigger profits if you are an active trader that actively sells at highs and rebuys at dips in order to increase your holding but of course that way of investing also brings a lot of risks with it as every time you do a trade you are also in danger of making a mistake. If you just buy a project that you are convinced of and hodl it for a certain amount of time then of course the potential mistakes that you can make are very limited and therefore it is safer. The only big mistake that you can make is to invest into a altcoin that will not be around in a few years anymore, like 99% of all those meme-coins that are appearing at the moment.
2290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is what it is on: October 12, 2021, 01:12:07 PM
Lessons I've learnt from bear market

1. No one wants bear market 😂
2. The unwanted market will eventually comes and caught many unprepared
3. Many projects of 2020 and 2021 will die a slow painful death
4. More ban on crypto will come
5. Some countries will start saying nonsense about crypto again and the market will go down even more
6. Every whales next move will target next BTC halving again, it's all cycle
7. Long term holders will become the next new whales again

I agree with most of your points and especially with point 3 and i want to add to this point that 95% of those project that will die in the near or midterm future will be all those meme-projects that started to appear a few months ago (and still appear every single day) and i have to say i wil be very happy once those projects are dead and this hype is gone. In the end i think it was and still is pretty harmful for the crypto-space.

To your 5th point i would say that news regarding crypto don't have that big of an impact anymore that they had a few years ago. This is true for positive news but also for negative news. I mean that news a few weeks ago that china deems cryptos illegal (again) did have some impact, but not that much.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: October 12, 2021, 01:06:59 PM
-snip-

I can understand if you say Turkey played badly against Latvia, even though we know Turkey won the match in the end. But Turkey wasted too
many chances, did not look solid teamwork, even the victory could be obtained in the last minute of the match. Turkey must improve their game,
so that Turkey can win their next remaining match against Gibraltar and Montenegro. It should be with the quality of players that Turkey has,
they can easily win against these two teams.
The Turkish national team defeats Latvia 2-1 to keep their World Cup dreams alive. Turkey did waste too many chances, but injury time and VAR checks also wasted too much time. Let's face it, the Latvian players are rolling on the floor almost all the time. They still have two matches left. Interesting fact: for the first time in 35,527 days, Turkey beat Latvia. The last time they won against Latvia was in 1924! Turkey can now be proud.

I don't really think that turkey can be proud because they barely managed to beat Latvia, a team that is rank 135 on the FiFa ranking list, while Turkey is ranked 41. So i would say they barely manage to avoid a total embarrassment of being out of the world cup next year after 5 games already. They totally deserved to win this game though because they were the dominating team but in the end it was also extremely lucky that they won it just because of the way it happened with the penalty that was given to them while we were already 7 minutes into the extra time which is a long extra time that happens not to often.
2292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and additional gas fees on: October 12, 2021, 10:29:40 AM
Over the last few days, I have faced many problems while transacting a few tokens. Even after I repeatedly deposited in a few wallets, at one point the transaction was going to stop. That is what is in Uniswap. I have deposited 20$ due to additional fee. But the fee needs to be above 50$. So has been interrupted to swap a few times. Currently I think the Ethereum platform is the most expensive. What do you think?

It's nothing new that the Ethereum network was almost unusable for "normal" users that are trading or sending amounts of below 100$ or so because if you have to pay 30$ or more for a simple swap on uniswap. That is also the main reason why the binance smart chain has become so popular in the last few months and a lot of projects that were ETH-only a few months ago have also a token on the bsc-chain now. I am not a big fan of BNB and the binance smart chain because for me binance is one of the most centralized projects in the cryptoworld and i don't want it to become a monopolist but i feel kinda forced to use the BSC chain at the moment, because i just can not afford the ETH fees.

Matches are just starting. Enjoy guys! Let's make some money.

Stream: https://www.twitch.tv/dota2ti

The first match of today is already a banger. It's 2-2 at the moment between Invictus and Team Spirit and now in game 5 it looks like Invictus gaming is gaining a nice lead now slowly but surely, but even if Team Spirit looses this round now they still have a good chance to advance pretty far in the lower bracket in my opinion if they can show a good performance like the one right now again.
I'm watching right now and they're just playing the first game with the best of 3 match. Maybe you are anticipating that this is a best of 5 game and thinking that they're playing for game 5 but no. What currently is happening, IG is leading in death score but Team Spirit is turning it around and Yatoro's morphling got a rampage and they went to the throne directly and just won the first match.

Yeah true. That little golden frame in the middle of the screen right next to the area where the won rounds are shown has confused me there as i thought both have already 2 rounds won.. but this could not be true anyway because we are still in a best of  3 mode.  So yeah 2 errors at the same time from my side  Lips sealed. I just tuned in again and was surprised that they are still playing.
Team Spirit somehow managed to come back in round 1 after they where already behind quite a bit, but now it looks like IG will really win  Smiley.

Right after this match there is the next banger coming with Team Secret versus OG in the upper bracket and then afterwards the lower bracket matches will start where really everything is on the line and therefore i would guess that the teams act more careful in those 4 matches.
2295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the internet is down in the future on: October 12, 2021, 08:43:51 AM
Is there any crypto project that can transacts without the internet? I heard there was one two years ago I couldn't remember the name again but why isn't such project doing so well today? If the internet goes down in future this type of project will be useful don't you think?

As far as i know there is no existing blockchain at the moment, that can validate it's blocks without being connected to the internet, i also don't know how this should work as you always need a network where every participant can communicate with each other or otherwise it just can not work and everyone has it's own state of the blockchain if they are not connected to each other. I was trying to mine a very early project two years ago and at the beginning there were also problems with the connectivity of the miner and therefore it happened a lot of times that i was mining my own fork and was not part of the consensus chain.
2296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 11, 2021, 12:16:49 PM
I could not watch the match but from the highlight I think it was almost like watch Hollyfield and Lennox lewis when the fought there rematch, I think tyson fury is a machine, Mike tyson in his prime will not be able to knock him out, no one can know tyson fury out, deontey on the other hand is second best, a hard trader of punches, but he is not ever going to win tyson fury, my anti climax of the trilogy was when deontey refused an act of sportsmanship shown to him by tyson fury.

That's a pretty bold statement right there and i am pretty sure that it is wrong. If you look at those highlight clips of the 80's from Mike Tyson in his prime then i am pretty sure that Mike Tyson would also knock Tyson Fury out if he hits him. That being said it would probably be a really tough fight for mike tyson as Fury is just way taller and has way more reach, but of course that is all hypothetical.

It is true though, that Fury can take some serious hits without being affected by it for to long. The punches he took from Wilder in the first match and also in the third match now where clean hits, but Fury still managed to get up. Anthony Joshua for example is way easier to hurt than fury, that was pretty obvious in his fights against Ruiz and also against Usyk.
2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Shiba Inu Coin a better investment than Dogecoin? on: October 11, 2021, 12:10:14 PM
Neither of these projects have a valid use-case. They are meme-coins. Speculative gambling at best.
I’d be lying if I said I never owned any. But just a few dollars here or there. These aren’t serious projects for real investors. And they probably won’t be around in the next 10 years.

I basically agree with you on all the points that you are saying except for one. I am pretty sure that Dogecoin will still be here in 10 years and also in 20 years. I mean if you take a look then you will realise that dogecoin is already around for almost 8 years now and if you look at the price devlopment then you will see that it was never more successful than in the last 6 months, so i don't see a reason why Dogecoin should not still be there in a few years. That being said i totally agree with you, that those projects offer zero use case and i also think that they are harming the whole crypto market overall. I mean which investor can take cryptos serious if there are still launching dozens of new meme-coins every day for the last few months now and 99% of them are completely dead within a few weeks.
2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 10, 2021, 04:46:51 PM
^  Did you really watch it?  The race was obv far from ‘amazing’.  Lol.  It was really boring except for the Leclerc vs Perez race battle.  But other than that, it was all so so..

I only watched the start of the race and the first 10 rounds or so and then i had to leave and it seems like i have not missed very much by doing that. I thought that today could be an interesting race again because of the rain but in the end the rain was pretty consistent over the whole course of the race and therefore there was not much going on in that regards too. Vettel was the only one that risked it and changed to slick tyres but he had to pay for it and finished only at position 18. I also feel sad for Mick Schumacher, that Alonso made him spin and that he felt back to his usual position because of that.
2299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: caught between dilemma and pleasure on: October 10, 2021, 04:43:49 PM
The interesting thing about participating in the bounty is knowing the price of the coins that are already on the market and it's tempting like the bounty thing Hhampuz, I hope when they are distributed they will still be there.

But if the participants are many what do you think?
I'm still trying there "RPG"

Altcoin bounties where the project is already listed are almost as safe to join as the BTC-paying bounties that are offered here in this forum (and that i am also part of). As far as i understand the total bounty allocation is "only" 20.000 $. This may sound like that this is not much but i think in the end it is good for everyone that is involved in the bounty. If they would have promised 200k $ or more then i would be already suspicious if the team is even paying out the rewards and if they do payout, how the price reacts to that. You shold not expect to high payouts though. The total amount for the bounty is 20.000 $ and 25% of them are for the signature bounty so 6250 Dollars and there are already 200+ accepted participants which would be around 30 bucks per participant for 4 weeks of bounty.
2300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 10, 2021, 09:16:06 AM
It was the most exciting bout I have seen this year the momentum keep shifting I thought Wilder had Fury out, that were Wilder's best punches other boxers will not get out of that knockdowns, Fury proves himself to be different from the fighters Wilder faced in the past, Wilder was groggy and he doesn't know where he is.
Wilder cannot complain anymore the better guy wins the match, but total respect for Wilder for giving us his best, he still can get up but now he must recuperate from those beatings.

Absolutely agree with your opinion. Wilder deserves respect. Though according to the statistics of the fight he dealt less blows than Irishman, but his two knockdowns of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury will be memorable for a long time. I enjoyed watching this fight and I plan to re-watch it again as this fight is truly considered the best fight of the year.

The fight was starting at 6 AM here where i live and i really tried to stay awake with coffee and stuff but i did not make it lul and fell asleep. Now after i have woken up i read that this was one of the best heavyweight fights of all times and now i am very disappointed that i could not experience this fight live, at least on tv. From all what i have read in articles and also in this thread it seems that Wilder really showed a good performance today and Tyson Fury was just a little bit better. Wilder already showed that he is a real fighter in their second fight where he did not want to stop and was pretty angry at his corner for throwing the towel.
