1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 15, 2022, 07:41:14 PM
Nunez is going to be a good player for Liverpool. I don't think that they have made any type of mistake. There will be a lot of expectations from him and that is true but I don't think he's going to let anyone down. It is actually really good to say that Liverpool is approaching the next season with the best power that they can. They are obviously targeting the English Premier League title and also the Champions League title. But it is not going to be easy for Liverpool. I hope they will not drop easy points in the next season.

A transfer of a player that is only 22 years old and that has only played two years in a first division of a european football league, which is also not one of the strongest league is always a bit risky, especially when the player was so expensive like Darwin Nunez. 75 Million € of base transfer fee that can go up to even 100 Million € is really a big number for such a player.
I also think though that Nunez is one of the best young and promising strikers in the world at the moment and that he will also be able to show good performances for Liverpool if he feels welcome and comfortable there, which should be a safe thing as Jürgen Klopp is probably the best coach to make players feel good and welcome.
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for Traditional Banks to cooperate with Crypto on: June 15, 2022, 07:26:56 PM
DeFi or decentralized finance can threaten the world of traditional banking, because of the shift in lending, even DeFi itself is known to be able to provide loans like other traditional banks.
This can affect existing traditional banks, because there will be competition between traditional banks and crypto in general, regardless of the various problems that will occur, crypto and traditional banks must be able to adapt to each other.
Crypto development is progressing so rapidly, this can be seen from the many users who join here, if Traditional Banks close themselves it is not impossible to be abandoned in the next few years.

I think it is very much possible that traditional banks are also adding crypto in whatever form to their portfolio of products. The thing is though if those banks really want to do that because in the end crypto was invented to create a financial system that gives the power back to the people and that can not be controlled or even stopped by banks or the governments. I also can imagine that traditional banks are afraid to become irrelevant if they are offering crypto services, because i would guess that a lot of new customers that would use those crypto services would find out sooner or later that they could do all that Defi stuff by themselves without paying an extra fee to the bank.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High odds or low odds, which do you prefer? on: June 15, 2022, 12:38:01 PM
Let us assume that high odds start from 1.5 and above while low odds starts from 1.2 and below.
I specifically like football gambling. When I started to gamble, I go for high odds, but I was not that experienced and I lost a lot.

Well that you lose a lot of times when you are going for high odds is just the nature of the game because in the end a high odd means that the outcome that you picked is pretty unlikely to become reality, at least for the bookies. I also are not betting that regularly anymore but when i do then i am going for very basic bets for football matches, like winner, draw, loser and i also go for pretty safe bets which have low odds then obviously. When i have a few games where i am pretty sure that my predictions come true then i also combine 2 or 3 single bet to one bigger combo bet which obviously has a pretty good odds then.
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Very important to do our research: Avalanche [AVAX] is a capped asset on: June 15, 2022, 12:26:52 PM
People have been confused and some people did a very bad research about Avalanche because some people claimed Avalanche is not a capped asset. But it is not true, because Avalanche is a capped asset.
It can be seen in Avalanche’s whitepaper:
Avalanche is capped at 720M Coins.

Avalanche is definitely an interesting project and i am thinking about investing a small amount into that project now that all coins have lost so much value in the last few weeks. I had a relatively small amount of Waves that i sold a few weeks ago when they were at around 50 USD so i now have a bunch of USDN lying around in my WavesDex that are waiting to be reinvested. The big problem is that USDN is also not really a stable coin it seems, because at the moment it's value is at around 0,94 USD and i just don't wanna lose 6% by just converting USDN to USDT or USDC. Once i can swap my USDN to a reasonable price then i will buy some Avalanche i think.
1325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2022, 01:32:48 PM
It's amazing, it seems that you are really very careful in looking at the position that Jurgen Klopp has arranged at Liverpool, and if what you say can be very true, then Liverpool will still be very strong even though there is no Mane inside as strong as Liverpool because from what I know understand what you're saying, Mane doesn't have much influence inside Liverpool, is that true?

It is already clear now that Darwin Nunez will go from Benfica Lissabon to FC Liverpool. Nunez is one of the most promising young strikers in the world at the moment in my opinion and he has already proven that he can also score in a european league, even though the english premier league is at least one tier above the portuguese league but still. Liverpool paid a hefty price for him though with a base transfer fee of 75 Million € which can go up to even 100 M€ with bonuses.
Now that the Nunez deal is done i think the move from Mane to Bayern will also be announced within the next few days.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stake most of my USDT, it is better to leave it as USDT or change it to USDC ? on: June 14, 2022, 12:55:36 PM
I stake most of my USDT,
it is better to leave it as USDT or change it to USDC ?
For me USDT is the second safest stablecoin in the whole crypto market out there. So if there should really be a massive depeg of USDT, like the price falling below 0,90 USD or something then i think this would have a massive impact on the whole crypto market and we would see a bear market like we have never seen before probably.
That being said, i still think that USDC is safer than USDT. The reason for that is pretty simple. The company behind USDT says that they have enough reserves to back every USDT minted with a real USDT but we don't know what kind of reserves those are or if they even exist. USDC is more transparent here.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minor Protection From Gambling on: June 14, 2022, 05:30:39 AM
This had been the main issue in online gambling.  Minors had been flocking to the online Casino site without any restrictions.  They can blatantly access gambling sites with their parents' cards, fake their identities and so on.  Germany does tackle this issue seriously and recently German Commission for the Protection of Minor in the Media (KJM). had a deal with Incode Technologies, a US-based specialist in biometric identity for the age verification solution.[1]
The German government is very inclined that it will help greatly in protecting minors because of its advanced technology.

Well first of all i definitely agree, that minors should not be able to gamble online. The reason for that is pretty simple: Minors are just not fully developed yet, physically but also mentally. Therefore i think it is safe to say that in general minors are way more prone to becoming addicted to online gambling than adults. Of course there are always exceptions too. I have not read to much about the system that Incode Technologies is using so i am not really sure what kind of method they are using in order to verify the age of users, but i am pretty sure that this kind of method could also be cheated again because i think there is no 100% bullet proof method to do online verification.
In the end the parents need to look after their child and what they are doing.
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna 2.0 keeps falling on: June 14, 2022, 05:14:55 AM
Can you see Luna 2.0, the price was above $19 when the coin was forked from Lunc, it decreased to around $3.4 when bitcoin was below $30000, bitcoin increased to around $32400 and Luna increased to $12. Bitcoin at $31000 now but Luna at $3.9. if bitcoin decreased to like $27000, this will significantly affect Luna price. This coin is not worth holding during this time until if bear market has ended. If you buy this coin, know that you are gambling.

At the moment we are at 2,46 USD per Luna which really is a very hefty price decline since the relaunch of Luna. I think the recent negative price performance of Luna (or Luna 2.0) has several reasons. First of all obviously the events that happened around Luna a few weeks ago, when UST was not able to hold it's peg and then the panic sell pressure kicked in and completely destroyed UST and therefore also Terra (Luna). This also was the reason for the first big dump of the market a few weeks ago.
Secondly, the whole market is going down at the moment obviously and basically every coin is suffering heavy losses at the moment. Ethereum is at around 1100 USD per coin at the moment which i did not think would happen that soon.
1329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 13, 2022, 01:12:26 PM
The transfer window is becoming more interesting as new players have been transferred to new Leagues. But I'm still waiting for the major transfer of Bayern Munich which is Sadio Mane. It's very unfair to see this top player been paid below his standard and he's one of Liverpool best player currently at the moment. Liverpool board needs to increase his salary or better still allowed him work out of the team as a free player. Instead of complicating matters for Mane, which I'm fully aware that if he moves to team like United, he would be earning a high amount of money.

As far as i know a move from Sadio Mane to Manchester United will not happen because Sane only wants to go to Bayern Munich, at least that is reported by the media. So the only thing that still needs to be done is to negotiate the transfer fee between Bayern Munich and Liverpool and i really don't think that this will be a major hurdle as both clubs are not to far away from each other at the moment. I just hope Bayern is not paying to much money for Sane because even though he is a absolutely world class player, he is already 30 years old too, so i don't think it would be good to pay 50 Million € or even more transfer fee for him.
I am pretty sure the deal will be done and officially announced within the next two weeks.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC market capitalisation going up, what this means for ALTS on: June 13, 2022, 01:06:49 PM
BTC market capitalisation is currently at ~45%
What does this means for ALTS?
Relative to BTC altcoins will be loosing value, the market capitalisation of BTC has only increased 5%, imagine another 15%?
Please note that market capitalisation of BTC always increases in a bear market after drastic moves - it's now clear we are in a bearish trend and capitalisation has broken out (check trading view charts) so stay diligent.

As you already said, it is absolutely normal that Bitcoin itself is losing not as much as almost all other coins during a bear market. I am following the crypto market since around 2017 and so far the behavior and the movement of the crypto market has pretty much always be pretty similar during bear and bull markets. In a bear market the altcoins are suffering the most, especially the ones that are pretty new and small. My portfolio mainly consists of small and new projects so don't even ask me about my portfolio value  Undecided.
During a bull market, bitcoin is usually the first coin to rise and it takes some time until the other coins are rising too. Then it is possible though that those coins are rising even more than BTC itself.

Another terrible result for Ferrari. I do not know if they had double DNF this year, I think they did not, but they had this mishap missing from everything else, so its fitting to have it now.

This race was a very sad one for Ferrari again. After every Ferrari fan was so happy after they have finally a car again that can fight for the championship this season it seems like now everyone is in a bad mood again. Today was even more weird and concerning than the other ones because not only both cars of the Ferrari team problems and had to stop the race. The cars of Zhou and Magnussen also had a critical engine failure and could not finish the race. Both of those cars are also using the engine from Ferrari.
It seems like Ferrari engineers were able to create a very powerful new engine but apparently the new power unit is not as reliable as it should be if you really want to fight for the championship.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT's are a bigger scam than LUNA/UST on: June 12, 2022, 09:05:36 PM
The actual content of the NFT, such as a piece of art, is rarely stored on the blockchain. The reason why the content (such as a JPG, MP3, or Gif) of the smart contract associated with the actual NFT is stored on the web and not the blockchain is because of the size and cost. So you don't really own a piece of art. You own a piece of metadata describing some art that is stored on a centralized server. Those servers will, inevitably, eventually go down, be hacked or bought out so the owners of an NFT will, in the long run, own nothing but some metadata pointing to a defunct site.

I am not that deep into the technical stuff how NFT are working but so far i have always thought that the blockchain makes sure, that you really are the owner and also the only owner of that NFT that you are having in your wallet and that the blockchain makes sure that this will always be the case until you move or sell that NFT to someone other.
I don't really know, if it really matters if the piece of art itself (in this case the software file) or only the data that identifies you as the owner of that piece ort art is stored on the blockchain, as long as we can always be sure, that there will never be two owners of the same NFT at once.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 12, 2022, 12:23:33 PM
PSG will be in the right hands if Zidane officially becomes coach, so far PSG has been inhabited by great players, but the lack of ingredients from the coach, PSG has difficulty competing in European competitions. Zidane quality as a coach is unquestionable, he is one of the legendary great coaches in the UCL competition. Zidane's arrival can also attract Pogba interest in joining PSG, Pogba can increase his level of play again with Zidane. Zidane's genius in applying tactics in every match made it easier for PSG to get the UCL trophy, especially before Zidane had won the trophy with Real Madrid.

I disagree that PSG did not have great coaches so far. I mean just look at the coaches that they have had in the recent years. Pochettino, Tuchel and Emery are all great coaches. I think especially Thomas Tuchel is one of the best coaches in the world and that was obvious when he left Paris and went to FC Chelsea. Back then Chelsea was not doing very well in the premier league but when Tuchel became their coach they performed strong in the Premier League and they even won the Champions League which really no one expected a few months before.
The problem of PSG is that they are just signing players with big names no matter if they fit to the team or not. Maybe if Zidane will also be responsible for that then this will change, but i doubt that Zidane is a better coach than Tuchel or Pochettino.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to XMR and other privacy coins on: June 12, 2022, 11:47:18 AM
The less performing top alt to me is Monero, what the hell happened to all privacy coins out there? They dont surge as good as any other altcoins, are people not interested in privacy coins anymore? Or it's the world that doesn't need the idea.

I think that privacy coins are here to stay as they definitely serve a purpose. They are targets for criticism because obviously privacy coins are also often used in order to do payments for illegal stuff that no one should find out about, but that is not really the fault of the privacy coin projects itself in my opinion. Just because they offer possibilities does not mean that people should use them for illegal stuff.
Regarding the price performance of privacy coins. I would not worry to much to be honest. The crypto market is still a lot about the current trend and hypes and at the moment privacy coins are just not really in the focus of the broad crypto audience, but coins like Monero will never really disappear or become completely irrelevant in my opinion.
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 11, 2022, 08:35:42 PM
Pogba, Lingard and Mata are being allowed to let go by Manchester United, i still believed that out of this list Lingard still has a lot to offer to Manchester United, they can build their team around him he's still young as compared to others, I believe that the team does not know how to use him, he did wonders when he was at Aston villa, I guess he will be blaming himself why he came back initially

Until a few years ago Juan Mata was definitely one of the best midfielders in my opinion and he also was one of the most important players for Manchester United in the last 8 years. He is now 34 years old already though and probably past his prime. I read that he still wants to play football for a few more years so i can imagine that he might join one of the second tier clubs of the spanish primera division.
Paul Pogba is a slightly different story because i think that he never really delivered what United officials and also the fans expected and hoped. Back in 2016 when he joined United he was the most expensive player so far, maybe that was to much pressure for him.
Regarding Lingard; i don't like his attitude. He always wants to look cool when he is playing or celebrating but it looks pretty cringey most of the times.
1336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the value of USDT less than one dollar? on: June 11, 2022, 08:24:28 PM
If we look at the chart of USDT/USD, we will find that the price has always been above one dollar (1.0002~1.0007) or equal to one dollar, but since what happened a month ago and we are still slightly less than one dollar, does anyone know the reason?
What has changed so that the price of USDT stablecoin is less than one dollar and continues to be for about a month?

Well the price of USDT is at 0,9991 at the moment so even if it is not exactly at 1 Dollar at the moment it is still very much usable in my opinion. That being said, it definitely is not creating a lot of trust and confidences towards USDT when a bear market like the one that we are experiencing in the last few weeks is enough to make the price go below 1 USD for a few weeks already now. Like others in this thread already mentioned i also think that the problem is that the company behind USDT has not enough money anymore to directly back every USDT with a real USD. They just have reserves and those reserves are not so easy to reach and so fast to cash out in order to keep the price at 1$.
1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 11, 2022, 05:47:12 PM
Do you think so? Benzema is really cool but he gets frustrated when his teammates are not doing well on the pitch, this reminds me of when he said other defenders should not pass  ball to Vinicius some years ago and later apologized for the comment, other players like Messi and Ronaldo also has that angry altitude, maybe most stars in football do too because people always expect much from them, Ronaldo smashed a kid phone when they lost their match against Everton.
I don't think Benzema will leave Real Madrid anytime soon, the way things are going, he'll be on a long-term deal.

I also remember the times when Benzema was looking like a really selfish and arrogant player. In his last season at Olympique Lyon and also in his first years at Real Madrid he acted a lot like a really spoiled kid. He knew that he had incredible talent and he made sure that everyone else also noticed that. He also acted like a diva back then sometimes.
It seems though that this time is over now. Benzema is now 34 years old and definitely in the last years of his career and it seems like he has matured a lot. He has now the perfect combination of talent, passion and dedication and in addition to that he also seems to be a great team player now.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Help for investment in new projects on: June 11, 2022, 05:39:42 PM
need help guys i am new in the world of crypto and have a small portfolio as you guys know the market is completely dumped but i noticed people making good profits from the newly launched projects so i found a project named dragon Space you can visit their website here : dragonspace.io
and i found this project interesting because they have a lot of features such as rebase in every 3 seconds , P2E, marketplace, and much more and also most of the features are live and they have a fair launch on 12th of June 14:00UTC on pinksale and i am going to take part in it but i am afraid of losing money so need help should i invest in this project or not may be you guys know better than me thanks. I also share you website and gitbook link
Website: https://dragonspace.io/
gitbook: https://dragon-space.gitbook.io/dragonspace-gitbook-3/

I have to say i always find it pretty shady if you disguise your little shill thread for you own project or the project that you have invested in as a thread of a newbie that is really looking for help or advice. So i would not invest in the project that you are advertising just because of that. I took a quick look on the website that you have linked and even though it does not look like a total scam i also think that this project is really nothing special at all. Just another NFT based minigame.
Also i have to say that i feel sorry for the team if this is a really genuine project where they ave put their work and time into because i am pretty sure that it will not do very well in this current market.
1339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 10, 2022, 07:20:15 PM
Chelsea have confirmed that  Andreas Christensen will leave the club at the end of this month amid Barcelona links.

Chelsea already without the services of Antonio Rudiga with the German joining Real Madrid will have to go all out in the transfer market to get possible replacements  to partner Thiago silver.

Both of those defenders were linked to a transfer to Bayern Munich a few weeks or even months ago as Bayern needs a replacement for Süle because he is leaving Bayern to join Borussia Dortmund next season. I think Bayern needs another central back now because last year they already lost Boateng. It is already clear now that Rüdiger will not go to Bayern as he already joined Real Madrid and i also did not hear any rumors or news anymore that Christensen might join Bayern. It seems like Bayern will not sign an additional central back after all, which seems pretty weird to me.
Yes Bayern has a great central defender with Hernandez but one is not enough obviously. Bayern will probably play with Pavard or Nianzou as the second central back.
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power to the people on: June 10, 2022, 07:15:16 PM
When regulation comes many will feel safer with regulated crypto projects but BTC for example cant be regulated because the founder cant be found, he (Nakamoto) saw this coming all along so what's going to happen? I believe the power to choose which project to invest in will be given to the people. The warning from the government will be ' do not invest in unregulated projects '.

Well as far as i know the main reason why Satoshi Nakamoto invented Bitcoin was to create a way of payment that is not controlled by countries or by federal banks. The promise and the goal of bitcoin was that everyone should be able to send payments anywhere or to receive payments from anywhere and that this can not be blocked or controlled by the authorities first before the payment goes through.
There are always rumors coming up about impending regulations for crypto currencies and what this might mean for the crypto market as a whole. Most of the time the news of such regulations have caused a drop in the prices of crypto currencies because people are stillt htinking that regulations would be a bad thing. I think we will see some form of regulation sooner or later.
