2281  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Suspicious ICO "INDIGEN" fake team photo. on: January 07, 2019, 08:23:58 PM
~snip~
Lol, you click post button before me  Grin. So its proven that they have used fake photo. So I will change my thread title now. DT can handle now.
Grin It is ok man. I didn't even know where to start looking if you didn't provide the picture of Mathew Foster. I visited their ANN thread and they have mentioned that they have visited the Philippines and guess what I have found? They are being offered illegally their since August last year through a company called "Paysbook"
In the case of Paysbook, the SEC said that individuals or group of persons representing this entity through its founder Arjay Gallenero were offering online investments as well as its own cryptocurrency called “Indigen coins” to the public.
The company behind it is saying that they will earn this Indigen coins just by registering an account, as wells as posting, and commenting on their social media account. So I think Indigen was really in the Philippines but they came their not to help the indigenous people but to offer a company to promote their token in the country.

Posting Reward – INDIGEN COINS are earned for every post, comment, share or like to the investor’s PAYSBOOK social media account. An investor shall earn 0.025 INDIGEN COIN for every like, share or comment made and 0.050 INDIGEN COIN for every post made in social media;
2282  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Suspicious ICO "INDIGEN" fake team photo. on: January 07, 2019, 07:46:54 PM
Got the picture they have grabbed it from. And it seems like they just flipped the image and made it black and white to make it look different.

It was taken from the end credits of Mathew Foster's short film(You can skip the film and go ahead with the end credits but the cinematography was just awesome Tongue) which is linked from his IMDB page. So surely the ICO team is really faking the identity of this Pavel Bobek, they even named him after a Czech singer which I just knew after searching in Google.
2283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible sending BTC without a transaction fee? on: January 07, 2019, 06:27:22 PM
I'll just quote my previous post here :
If you really want to save on transaction costs you can try to use hybrid wallets that have an off-chain transfer within their system such as Coinbase, there is no transaction cost or any network fees involve and the BTC transfer are always instant. The only catch is your recipient must also have the same wallet as yours which in this case should also be a Coinbase wallet address. These off-chain transfers come in handy especially when you don't want any network fees involve.
It seems like a lot of people here still doesn't know what off-chain transactions are but it usually works between two wallets of the same kind usually 3rd party wallets like Coinbase and Xapo have off-chain transactions. The transfer is also done in-app or their website just like any normal transfer just make sure the address you are sending at is an address from the same wallet you have. Also if you have some local wallet providers existing in your country then for sure they are offering off-chain transactions as well.
2284  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Storing data in bitcoin blockchain on: January 07, 2019, 04:38:45 PM
If you are talking about companies not related to cryptocurrencies then you are mostly talking about their own version of Blockchain technology, which means that they don't completely use the one that Bitcoin is in. That is why you are seeing news like Walmart securing a patent on their own version of Blockchain specialized for medical records. Other companies like IBM, Bank of America, and Alibaba have their own patented versions of Blockchain some of them even have more than one patented version of it.
2285  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 📊 Chainsage.com | A Tough Competitor to Coinmarketcap | Superior Filtering on: January 07, 2019, 03:50:22 PM
Coinmarketcap looks like a plain website compared to your site's U.I. which is pretty good if you want to be head to head with it. One thing I notice though is that their is a huge price discrepancy between you and coinmarketcap the biggest price difference I saw was BCH which coinmarketcap have at 168$ while yours is showing 175$ while most exchanges right now like Bitstamp, Coinbase, CEX.IO and Gemini have it at around 160$ which even though Coinmarketcap didn't hit it it is much more closer than 175$, so I got curious where are you basing your prices at?

Also one improvement I like to see is active prices on the main webpage, I think this way people would like use it as a ticker for them where they don't need to refresh it every time just to see the price movement. This will be helpful for a lot of traders if they want to see the price action and identify who is the fastest mover.
2286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 07, 2019, 11:48:46 AM
Now that Thibs is gone chances are D Rose will leave Minnesota next season but I hope his here to stay and he have developed some kind of relationship with the other players. The owner, Glen Taylor, had made it clear that he is not satisfied with his decision making both on and outside of the court. He even fired him the most harshest way possible right after winning big against the LA Lakers and even replacing him with a inexperienced coach, Ryan Saunders, as the interim coach for the rest of the season. It seems like all playoffs hopes are gone by now and tanking for Zion is the next option  Tongue
2287  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: about exchanges kyc withdraw! on: January 06, 2019, 06:47:28 PM
I cannot say that they are the ones to blame here, I mean you do have time to research on your own on how their KYC works in their website. Other than that I know most of us are fully aware that KYC is now a standard requirement to all exchanges that even ShapeShift is requiring now so it comes to no surprise. People who are unaware thinks that this is a KYC trap but I think it is just their business strategy and showing up a KYC requirement early on might discourage a lot of potential customers signing up.
2288  Economy / Economics / Re: Tokenization of real-world assets on: January 06, 2019, 02:40:24 PM
Aren't stocks right now existing digitally? That is why if you are buying and selling you just execute your order in your online trading platform. If you are still thinking that we are still keeping stock certificates then you are wrong most of the investors here keep their stocks in their online portfolio. So I really don't get what you are saying here because stocks even commodities like gold exist digitally now. Also I don't think we need the Blockchain integration you are talking about because as of now the NYSE is heavily monitored by SEC which you know is always active on filing white collar crimes.
2289  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-05]What is Facebook’s Vision for Blockchain Technology? on: January 06, 2019, 12:27:29 PM
Their usage of Blockchain Technology might not be completely related to cryptocurrencies/payments at all. First off their payment system (VISA debit/credit cards, Paypal) works in all parts the world already. Secondly I doubt that a company like Facebook who already is a stock company in the NYSE can raise their own ICO, they might be flagged by the SEC by that. I have a feeling that their version of Blockchain will be about FB's security against people posting scams, fake news, and other shady things and also it will be their own way to gather evidence/proof that they themselves are not doing some shady shit when the US Government comes knocking at their doors again.
2290  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is ICO actually? on: January 03, 2019, 07:53:34 PM
It is highly dependent on what the function does the ICO have It can either be a project or currency or it can be both even if you broke down what kind of ICOs are we talking about it still depends on what the description and function the token is. Even if we are talking about Security or Utility tokens it still can function as either a currency or project but sometimes it can be both. This is still highly debatable until now as even our governments haven't come up a proper description for what ICOs are mainly because ICO developers are often trying to make their token as unique as possible to the market.
2291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 03, 2019, 07:02:45 PM
I think they need to start rebuilding the team from top to bottom, big changes need to be made starting from the chairman, board of directors, to the head coach, it's pretty clear that it's not just about spending tons of money and buying players all the time.
It seems like you have very little knowledge about the team that is why you have posted this. Ever since they have sacked Massimiliano Allegri in 2014 they never had a manager who lasted for two straight since until now, a total of 7 managers in a span of 4 years have managed A.C. Milan. Aside from that they have a new sporting director under Leonardo which is also a former player of A.C. Milan his plans and reputation in Brazil is great the only thing missing is money. Milan is not afraid of replacing who is needed to be replaced now that they are owned by Elliot Advisors everything can change, hopefully the ownership of Milan does not change for a while.
2292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: January 03, 2019, 05:22:03 PM
His fight in Japan was rather stroll through the park. Floyd Mayweather  is great boxer and even at his age he still dominated 20 years younger Japanese fighter. He probably made deal with organisation when exactly to knock Nasukawa *kick-boxer my ass*. However world recognized farce.
Can you even be realistic just for a second? This fight was not even about Tenshin having a age advantage over Mayweather, Tenshin was outmatch even before the fight started he was undersized against Mayweather by 3 inches, oh and did anyone notice there was no weight class? Yes that's right Mayweather entered the fight weighted at 149.5 lbs while Tenshin only weighted at 125 lb. You see all the differences from a physical point of view as well as experience there is no doubt Tenshin has lost this fight.
2293  Other / Meta / Re: Happy 10th birthday, Bitcoin! on: January 03, 2019, 02:41:35 PM
~snip~

A lot of people have accepted bitcoin so far. If we continue along the same trajectory I’d be happy with it taking until 2050 or something until we get bitcoin fully functional by everyone. There will obviously be more advancemends by then just like we have had the lightning network and segwit
Yes that is what I am hoping to happen. A lot of countries right now are finally realizing the opportunity that cryptocurrency can bring to their country that is why their governments are putting up their own regulation for it. With the governments of each country backing up cryptocurrencies pretty soon a lot of companies as well as establishments will follow the lead this will have a ripple effect on the mass adoption we are looking for. It may even be much earlier than the year 2050 you are expecting at.
2294  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: reporting and audits on: January 03, 2019, 12:17:08 PM
I am building an online shopping cart (in US) with a payment option to pay a electrum bitcoin wallet address.  I will later transfer the bitcoin to an exchange like coinbase, and periodically from there to my bank account.
Why do you need to go to this process on receiving payments to your Electrum wallet address? When Coinbase itself has a commerce service where you can accept BTC payments directly to your Coinbase wallet and even in your bank account. Coinbase also has a competitor named Bitpay which also offers the same service. Both of them can be good for your setup as website integration will be much easier if you choose either of the services I mentioned. Also you will be incurring additional cost just by transferring your earnings from Electrum to Coinbase because of network fees.
2295  Other / Meta / Re: Happy 10th birthday, Bitcoin! on: January 03, 2019, 11:14:29 AM
I am sure the next 10 years will be the same.
What do you exactly mean about this? If we mirrored the first 10 years Bitcoin have we won't have the progress and mass adoption we are looking for, even though BTC is 10 years old I still consider that BTC is still on its early stages of becoming accepted globally in the world. Let us not hope that Bitcoin will be the same in the next 10 years but let us look forward to progress for Bitcoin's next 10 years instead.
2296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 02, 2019, 08:36:39 PM
Juventus president, Andrea Agnelli has apparently instructed the clubs sports management to contact the entourage of Mbappe to check how feasible a transfer to Juventus is. Juve needs money to finance such a deal and Dybala would in that case be sacrificed. Would be sorry to see such a talent leave Juve and Serie A.
I don't see Juventus paying over €200m for Mbappe, they usually don't overspend. I think only a few clubs in Europe can afford to pay such a high fee, like Man City or Real Madrid.
Money isn't the only thing that Juventus can offer and right now there are a lot of players Juventus is willing to swap in order to get a good prospect. If the Old Lady is looking to invest to the club's future Kylian Mbappe is the right choice especially Cristiano Ronaldo can mentor him while he is still in contract. With CR7 being their transfer record I doubt they can offer that much money in a short time span so their only route is to add and sacrifice another player in exchange for Mbappe.
2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH and BTC bottom 2019 on: January 02, 2019, 07:33:30 PM
Hard to figure out where the exact bottom is especially if Bitcoin is always correcting itself to a new consolidation level from 10k to 8k to 6k and now to the 3,000$ level it only means Bitcoin is still finding its footing in and other cryptocurrencies are following it as well. If you are not entirely sold of buying Bitcoin or ETH right now the best thing you can do is to anticipate the reversal for it, you won't get the best price or margin of safety that position traders are looking for but at least you can ride out a profit from it.
2298  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-01] Breaking: Bakkt Raises $182 Million, What it Means for the State on: January 02, 2019, 06:06:56 PM
With this big money pouring in for the industry's future we all know that prices right now are irrelevant for these kinds of companies with regards to their decision making.

Just a feeling but I'm willing to bet that the future they see for BTC is totally different from what we wish.  Roll Eyes
I think we all know that by now even if they have other plans for this market I know it will affect the industry in a good way. With that big money pouring in solely for the purpose of increasing institutional investors in the market we know it will be good for the market. Not only that big money is inside the market but it can also increase the demand created by normal investors once they see that this big companies are participating in the market.
2299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Bitcoin Flippening on: January 02, 2019, 05:11:32 PM
Oh please!!!! XRP's market cap isn't even a quarter of Bitcoin's market cap and you are thinking of a possibility that it will overtake Bitcoin as the market leader. Even if you combined the market cap of both Ethereum and XRP you will still see that Bitcoin is still leading the race. But if you think that there will be a shift in the market leader with regards to the possibility of XRP overtaking Bitcoin what I only see is a short term struggle for Bitcoin's price as the market will really be a mess once the king is dethroned in the top spot.
2300  Economy / Economics / Re: When traditional markets fall, alternative markets fall harder on: January 02, 2019, 01:26:03 PM
I don't think that this inevitable death you are talking about will happen to Bitcoin just because we are somehow in a recession with other markets. Market cycles like this are bound to happen and the cryptocurrency market being a much weaker market compared to the stock market is just merely coincidental brought to us by the crazy price jump we had last December 2017 which causes us a massive sell-off waiting to happen. The cryptocurrency market is already a established market and I just don't see the whole market going down because the stock market is bearish right now.
