2281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: March 28, 2018, 11:50:08 AM
I see already the sig bounty is turning into a cluster fuck with legitimate and known BB supporters getting annoyed and seemingly random and unfair treatment by the bounty manager there.

There are many more examples that what I post here ... enough that there is no smoke without fire so i tested it out myself and I find this is not something they are making up. I have never been left out of a sig campaign ever that I applied for.

What's going on with the selection process here?
I'm seeing genuine Byteball fans with a posting history to back this up being left out in favour of bounty hunters who probably couldn't give two shits about Byteball and will dump their Bytes for a few satoshis.
this is a very good point. i also do not find myself on the spreadsheet. hell i even own the byteball web domain in my country and i have been left out with no reason. this is probably an issue that we should take directly with the team because there seems to not be a logical explanation for some of the people left out. hehehe..and i am the first one signing in for the campaign Smiley)))

Seems weird to me too, not that I care much but I have been left out too and I used byteball signature for almost a year (for no reward at all) and I'm invested in byteball since it started. Also the campaign manager's price for doing this is pretty insane - at least back in august it was - when I wanted to do a signature campaign for BB and thought outsourcing is the way to go.. but then I reached out to him and got shocked at the price. For that price he should be able to verify everyone's post, every day and instantly accept those who are BB advocates since its inception. The 25 post / week to me seems excessive but if you think spamming the forum is the best way to spread BB, well kudos then but I really doubt people will have meaningful posts with such absurd minimum requirements.

this is very concerning ... there needs to be legitimate reason to leave out known posters and supporters of byteball.

I notice some strange choices here that I am hoping is down more to taking on too many sig bounty campaigns and not investigating thoroughly enough rather than something more worrying.

I as a byteball holder would rather see these known and trusted people on the sig campaign over those that are not interested and will dump the byteball straight away.

I would like to see well considered reply to these queries here else this will need further investigation on a more wide spread level.

I have heard allegations of bounty managers only listing those who agree to kick backs and other such devious means.

If a person is over looked or left out when they are a known poster and supporter of a project there should be in depth and complete disclosure of why that was. The selection process can not be random nor can in demonstrate any obvious unfairness.

Bounties are a large part now of the minting in some cases so absolute transparency and fairness there is essential not to taint the entire project.

This is a serious matter.

I can only hope that this does not spread into futher tainting of the already shambles  like distribution process.

I hope Tony can investigate personally before this tumbles out on to the main board. I was told about this and tested it myself and was also left out.

Do you not find it curious that legitimate know legend posters are held out whilst shit post spamming obvious noob accounts are permitted.

This does not look like the signature campaign we want by pissing off current BB holders and giving it to noob trash to dump as soon as they get it.

What will be done about this.

At the least a full explanation of why these people were not allowed to take part. Else looks like a scam to me.

No way would a bounty manager hold out legends and known posters over noob trash posting shit over and over unless there was some connection between the bounty manger and these noob accounts.

It looks bad and it is only a matter of time before the main board sees a thread labelled more questionable distribution tactics attached to this project.

There is no room for opinion here there is simply observable events suggesting there is an unfair or yet unexplained strange selection for who can get rewarded for promoting byteball and who can not. This needs further investigation at this early stage before more damage is done here.

I would like to see all those that are know BB community members that have a good post history to be allowed into this campaign if they are not then there needs to be a good reason given. Not the explanation the bounty manger gave which was

To all the bums crying they didn't get in, or accusing me of dumb shit. You can stop anytime. Users were not accepted due to their accounts. If you want in campaigns you need to be an active poster, with fairly constructive posts, and not be a fucking alt account or bought account. Don't come in here crying cause you weren't accepted, fix the damn problem

this is not the professionalism of a serious projects bounty manager and I would expect to see this person either fired at once or start acting more like someone you  want officially associated with this project. These are for sure unfounded allegations and I would expect to see these explained and full apology especially to those who are known members of BB community long term.

Still a few open slots, I have updated the sheet with new entries

can you check if  there is a reason that i have not been added to sheet2?

i notice some people made their first request after my own and have been added to the sheet.

I would like to hear an explanation regarding this situation.

Can someone tell me which is the most current wallet. I'm using the "franko-qt-v1.0.0" version.
Google translator.

The one in the OP is the most recent and that is still dreadful. Last block was like 20 hrs ago.

Unusable crap that has not been updated from years. Dev is unable to update it but is able to mess around and try to adapt eth code base. Sounds likely doesnt it.

2289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price falls 7 percent after Twitter's announcement of crypto ban on: March 27, 2018, 10:08:23 AM
Only fools regard this as bad news.

crypto is full of scams and crap that needs weeding out before the legit projects can start to get further recognition and adoption.

we know jack is a big big supporter of BTC  so this is also evidence that facebook and google are probably not crypto haters either.

Simply they cant allow scams to advertise there any longer and it is impossible for them to weed out the good from the bad so ban them all is the only way.

2290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter banned advertising crypto currency on: March 27, 2018, 10:03:21 AM
this is good

bye bye shitty scam icos

the twitter ceo is huge supporter of REAL crypto though and is quite a large btc investor.
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized and decenterlized what is best for Crypto market....??? on: March 26, 2018, 08:49:07 PM
don't get why adoption or not by certain governments has anything to do with the title of the thread.

btc is decentralised at least compared to most other crypto projects.
2292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / FACT Most 2017 icos will die within 1 year - start waking up -2018 ico's avoid on: March 26, 2018, 05:17:19 PM
Dilution is going to kill 90% or greater alt projects within one year.

Consolidate to proven time test teams with REAL results and Real use cases. Even better if they are well distributed initially too else your fate is in the hands of a few even though they may obfuscate that fact.

I would strongly suggest consolidating to btc or one of the alts that has proven they can create something of worth with a strong use case. Forget the dreams and talk white papers and strong teams on paper that never create anything and anything they do create they move to another project later with another ico before completing the last project. That means quite a few of the top 20 that will soon be vanishing out of the top 100.

Most projects have nothing except a white paper that will run dry of dev funding before it is even nearly half finished and thats the real teams icos. Most are just marketeers with no talent or skill.

You can still do well here but it is survival of the least moronic.

Most persons joining since last nov will be leaving with nothing in another few months.. the dreams of ico lambos are fading fast and will be gone entirely soon. I would say honestly 80-90% of icos will fail because there was never any hope for them hence why they could not secure funding anywhere except the crypto fomo fools that flocked in.

BTC will take another big jump up but only the real projects here will survive with it.

New projects with bullshit whitepapers and no evidence of implementation = new ways to lose money.

Start finding the real teams that are nearing completion of their projects and that have a real use case that can not easily be filled/bettered  with BTC once lightning and other improvements are implemented or you will be wiped out.

Never hand over BTC for a bag of promises and dreams. Find the REAL projects that have been time tested and were smart enough to be here early not the EXPERTS that didnt "realise" crypto was a thing until last year. Eth sadly enabled a lot of talentless imbeciles to promise a lot of even dumber folks the world for a few small coins.

Lot's of the BIGGEST BESTEST projects are long gone and failed and many of the top 20 now will be going the same way.

White paper = toilet paper in the vast majority of cases here.

2296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to invest $10K in 1 alt coin or in 10 alt coins? on: March 26, 2018, 07:52:21 AM
What do you recommend and why? Is it better to invest $10K in 1 potentially profitable alt coin or in 10 potentially profitable alt coins? I'm not talking about already established alts like ETH, XRP or DASH. I'm talking about investing in relatively new, undervalued alts with great potential.

In 1 if you get it right.

However better to spread over 10 really. I would choose 5 personally because I have 5 already picked out from lots of research.

there are some great projects going for bargain prices right now

look for older established projects with sensible whitepapers and roadmaps that are almost complete with a real use case.
