2302  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This is what is happening, without a US 1st Amendment, across the world... on: May 08, 2015, 03:48:08 PM
The war is almost over serf.. Trillions are at work to model BTC into the perfect tool of control.

I bet with in 20 years many people will start going to prison for sending money to people their govs disagree with.  It will all be on a UN controlled block chain.  The future is grim at best.

Look at this forum!! People Bitching and arguing over price and bullshit.. No one mines to secure the network.. Satoshi disappeared because bitcoiners failed.
2303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Awesome idea on: May 08, 2015, 03:43:04 PM
If the device is capable of hasing at like 400-500F.. the idea would be to use the heat to cook your food.  It would be a zero power change except you would be mining btc as well as cooking.. It is a pretty damn good idea.

If the idea is just to attach a miner to a toster it is the stupidest idea I have ever heard.

Putting a miner on an AC unit is a big no, that legit makes zero sense.
2304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Awesome idea on: May 08, 2015, 03:39:19 PM
21 inc. Is going to give away free or cheap appliances that will mine bitcoin for you and them.  75% of bitcoins to 21 inc. And 25% to the consumer.  This will put bitcoin into ordinary people's pockets.  Can't wait to see that program roll out!

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/05/06/bubblicious_bitcoin_bonkers_business_bods/

It'll backfire on 21inc. It'll only be a matter of time before someone hacks/patches the one line of code that sends them their 75% and releases it 8n the wild.

Disclaimer: I didn't read the link since I'm on the road, so I may be talking out of my ass Tongue

They could just write it via a ROM.. then good luck "patching" it.  Once soldering is involved 99.9% of people won't mod it.
2305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never again be priced over $300. on: May 07, 2015, 03:14:48 PM
Mine are $1500 each. Discussion over?

Man yours are really cheap.  I'll take $2000 for 1 of mine the rest will cost much more.

This.
2306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things to think about NOW, before the next bitcoin bubble. on: May 07, 2015, 02:52:57 PM
TL;DR version?

You should really read it all it is a good read.

The no part will be BIG imo.. I forsee difficult times ahead.. those you have pleaded with to buy real wealth will come BEGGING for you to bail them out after they spent all their money on booze and bitches when you saved it to secure your future.

You must learn to become an *ass* don't let fools ride your coat tails after partying while you worked.

My plan is to own a golf course with my other BTC buddy.  Although he might just buy like 10 with the stash he has lol.
2307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone who's going to hear about bitcoin has heard about it on: May 07, 2015, 01:59:31 PM
You're not going to find a middle class guy who is remotely tuned in to CNBC or Yahoo/Google Finance who hasn't heard of bitcoin by now.

In the past, bitcoin expanded into new demographics. It started with the Slashdot crowd in 2009. Then the Wired/Silk Road article crowd in 2011. Then expanding more towards the VICE/Reddit/CNBC crowd in early 2013. By late 2013, it was on major network television in places like China, Russia, India, etc. You can't be a Wall Street Journal reader or a Google Finance reader without having read about bitcoin. It's been on the front page multiple times.

The next push won't be expanding into a new demographic. It will have to be on the strength of the technology itself.

So like.. 1% of the population has heard of BTC... such large %  ...........
2308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm fucking out. bitcoin will be over soon..confirmed. on: May 07, 2015, 01:55:00 PM
Soon like Blizzards soon? So like potentially.. never?

Like the game Ghost right?
2309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yay or Nay to Increasing Block Size to 20mb? on: May 06, 2015, 08:27:28 PM
Yes ... but only if pruning is activate at the same time (or before to check the result like in the begin of 2016).

This, we very desperately need to do something about the size of the blockchain.

The size of the blockchain is increasing faster than the size of a harddrive this is a big problem which will only be made worse with increasing the block size.  However 7 transactions per second is also a large problem.
2310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yay or Nay to Increasing Block Size to 20mb? on: May 06, 2015, 08:23:50 PM
Once the Blockchain reaches around 200 gigs I have a feeling bitcoin will die.
Clearly.  And we know this because hard drive space could never grow exponentially. Never.

To break it down nice and simple for you Wink

2312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIG question that affects all of us on: May 05, 2015, 05:59:38 PM
There will always be backwards compatibility for accounting your units and importing your keys. Even if you don't pay attention for 10 years the most you will have to decide on is which forked chain to import your keys towards.

This, ACTUALLY not moving BTC after hard forks might make them worth more..
2313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bold statement: Next target is low ~$700s (Awaiting scream of laughter) on: May 05, 2015, 03:27:33 PM
A truly limitied supply will throw manipulators right off.  For 100's .. 1000's of years they have been able to endlessly print new money or promises of gold..

Many of you understand BTC is something new, many understand it allows you to do a lot of things a lowly peseant has never been able to do throught all of history, very very very few understand what potential this has good and bad as probably even less can see how easily it could be used to control the entire population.

I for see a massive bubble than a hard fork to a UN/BRICs controlled bitcoin.
2314  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the minimum price of Bitcoin? on: May 05, 2015, 03:22:19 PM
I read an interesting article about how low Bitcoin's price can get.
When everybody talks about how HIGH can it go, it is interesting to analyze how LOW it can go.

The price of bitcoin is not something that can be predicted easily because it is very vollatile. I will say and imagine that bitcoin would be at zero value but it is not likely and the lowest it could be will be at 1 bitcoin pegged at 1 USD since in the future it might be use as a currency, so it needs to have a stable value

LMAO, 2015.. BTC can't be zero but it could be $1..

LOL you're serious too arn't you.. dear god.
2315  Economy / Speculation / Unsure on: May 05, 2015, 03:21:21 PM
If manipulators are failing to drive the price down or keeping it steady on purpose..

I am leaning towards they are failing due to BTC an not be printed to infinity.
2316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Do It! on: May 04, 2015, 05:37:19 PM
Cash is the best way to do anything Illegal it is almost impossible to trace.

Odds are most people won't be able to cover their tracks using BTC.
2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bigger blocks coming in release 0.11 on: May 04, 2015, 05:17:32 PM
About time! Anyone whining about this need to get their marbles examined.

The blockchain size is already turning into a serious problem...  Don't speak with such a vicious tone when you don't know what you are talking about.
