whoever said bitcoin will be worth $100k on one day is nothing more than a dreamer living in a fantasy world. predictions up to $5K are also high, but not that unreasonable. $100k is beyond insane.
Then you believe it is going to zero.. it is really that simple. Bitcoin becomes a store of wealth or it dies. You think BTC will be able to hold a hash rate in 12 years with the price the same and the miners all mining in the negatives... It's zero or hero that is it. no. i don't think it's going to zero. i prefer to have a realistic look at the future of bitcoin. don't you also think $100K per coin isn't way too high? my ultimate prediction for bitcoin is max $5000 per coin. $5K puts BTC a market cap of 105B.. That's not very big relative to silver and nothing compared to gold.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, LOOK AT THE 12VDC BUSSES(RAILS).
If each rail supports 20A you'll be fine BUT YOU MUST power one card with each rail. The CPU 8 pin connector is one rail and the rest are the other, you'll have to cut off 1 6 pin PCI cable from one rail, cut the two 4 PCI cables plugs off and wire them into the 6pin.
MOST CHEAPER POWERSUPPLIES USE RAILS AND YOU MUST SEPERATER THEM
SEPERATE THE RAILS.
Jump green wire to black wire to turn on Powersupply.
HAVE I MENTIONED THAT YOU HAVE TO SEPERATE THE RAILS?
Oh by the by SEPERATE THE DC RAILS.
It is REALLY EASY to seperate they but.. YOU MUST SEPERATE THE DC RAILS, ON RAIL PER CARD(SIDE)

Currently bitmain is the only company left selling ASICs to the hobby/home miner.
I will be grabbing the R1, I need a repeater.

Well it increases the hashrate of the network and makes it just a bit more secure
but I find it a funny idea and it helps securing the network...
No, this thing absolutely does NOT "increase the hashrate of the network" by any measurable amount, nor does it do anything to "secure" the network. Are you guy just repeating buzz words or what? This is like the agrument that "one vote doesn't count so why vote".. Sure 1 repeater is next to nothing, 100 000 repeaters though... HOWEVER, due to the fact it's tied to ant pool the extra security to the network depends on bitmain not wanting to launch a 51% attack... I cannot see why they would do that.

I figured any outlet adaptor would work, why wouldn't it?

IT only draws 24 watts...
I don't get it this thing SMASHES any repeater on the market as it costs the same.. draws the same BUT MINES for you..
1. consider shipping costs-negative or get from a group-better 2. it does NOT mine-it gives you a chance in a lottery, which with your miner being ~1/100000000 of the network, would work out for 1 block in ~200 years at the current difficulty. However, it also means that for every 2000 sold and being deployed 24/7, one will score a block within a ~year on average (with current difficulty), but the other 1999 will produce NOTHING. I did a rough estimate-numbers could be off, but it is what i got. #2.. that IS MINING........................... Mining with a CPU back in the day was like this... It 100% mines. It costs $16 to ship it with out the convertor. It does everything a repeater does but mines as well.. I need to repeate the wireless signal in my room.. haven't bought one yet, why would I buy anything but this..? Other device, repeats interenet signal, costs $40cad, draws 24ish watts.. THis device, repeates interenet signal, costs $40 cad, draws 24 watts, SOLO mines bitcoins. I don't even want it on a pool.. that is what my S3's are for lol.

Thank you all who have replied.
As I said previously, an average sale could be a day's pay for an average (Filipino) worker. Not an insignificant amount. The shop employee handling the transaction would have just a basic (Filipino) high school education. This would mean that he/she can do no more than follow basic instructions - if your lucky.
Neither the sales person or the customer are going to wait for even the first confirmation. The merchant (shop) cannot set or easily check the transaction fee. Let's assume that the customer makes the purchase with zero transaction fee. (I know, Bitcoin Wallet does not allow this.)
So, the customer walks in, buys a coffee and food (take-out) with bitcoin zero transaction fee, then leaves the shop. How does this customer "double spend" his/her bitcoin?
What is "another spend that uses the same inputs"?
It's not as simple as you're expecting. Do you understand what the blockchain is? That is the first question.
