^  Haaland has to perform right?  I mean City had like chances left and right per match last season.  Haaland has to get like a couple of those at least and convert them into goals.  But I gotta say, West Ham has a good squad themselves tho.

Anyway I have like a parlay with draw no bet Leicester, draw no bet Man United and draw no bet Man City at 2.05.  It should win rrignt guys?  Lol.  Cheesy  I'm down for the day in the UFC.
2342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 06, 2022, 02:01:07 PM
Lezzz gooo!  Let's go for max value and bet 100 bucks each sent directly to our wallets, whoever wins.  If you win I give you 100, if I win your give me 100.  And here's the thing...  How long do we have to wait?  I'm pretty sure it won't happen this year but it could happen next year.  So bet is on until early 2024 or do you really want to wait?  Wink  I'm ok with whatever you want.
All good, Bitcoin sent to wallet of the winner.
I am OK with $100 with all the rules we agreed, but let's limit time period for the end of year 2022, so if fight happens until then our bet stands.
Next year 2023 is not so far away but in next year we should revise out rules and confirm if we agree or not, so anyone can choose to accept or refuse.

Lol then I'm pretty sure the bet isn't happening cos no way the UFC is matching those two again right away.  Nunes' next match would be at 145 to defend her belt there.  Pena on the other hand will prolly fight somebody else to make her way up into title contention again.

Here are the weigh in results.  One fighter missed weight.  And I think Quinlan vs Witt was rescheduled.

Thiago Santos (206) vs Jamahal Hill (205)
Vicente Luque (170.5) vs Geoff Neal (171)
Zac Pauga (239) vs. Mohammed Usman (236.5)
Juliana Miller (125) vs Brogan Walker (125.5)
Augusto Sakai (260) vs Serghei Spivac (249.5)
Priscila Cachoeira (125.5) vs Ariane Lipski (128.5)*
Sam Alvey (186) vs Michal Oleksiejczuk (185.5)
Erick Gonzalez (155) vs Terrance McKinney (155.5)
Bryan Battle (171) vs Takashi Sato (170.5)
Josh Quinlan (169) vs Jason Witt (170)
Miranda Granger (115.5) vs Cory McKenna (115.5)
Stephanie Egger (134.5) vs Mayra Bueno Silva (135.5)

Enjoy the event guys.

^  It was knee to knee.  I think it was a soft penalty.  But dunno..  I'm pretty sure one can also argue that it was the right call.

And this is why I hate betting on football.  You just don't know how these teams are gonna show up.  I couldn't tell if Fulham was as or more intense in most parts of the match or if Liverpool was having an off day.  It's really not like Liverpool to not be dominant esp against a newly promoted club.

Edit:  0 - 1 for Southampton...  I'm out!
2344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 06, 2022, 12:26:56 PM
Wow...  Is anybody watching the match?  I didn't expect Fullham to be well drilled enough to press Liverpool and not give Klopp's men to settle.  And I didn't know Marco Silva is managing Fullham...  First 10 mins, all Fullham then Liverpool started to have their moments.  But first blood drawn by Fullham via Mitrovic goal.

But let's see what Fullham does at the second half when some fatigue sets in...

Make your betting competition as an NFT. We are all crypto fans, so lets use modern technologies  Grin this will be even better. Because someone might join your challenge.

Frankly, I dont know how to do it technically, but creating an NFT for your challenge is a must. Sending 100 bucks to each other wallets is a past century. Perhaps, make an nft, make an action 1 year long, make its value 100$, place bets. Something like that.

Please, dont make it boring with sending 100$ to a wallet, and who ever wins, gets a privatekey.

P.s. You will definitely gonna need an escrow for that  Grin

Huh?  You want to make another bet vs him yourself?    You go on ahead with that...  You could do that with your NFT bet idea.  I'm happy with receiving a win in the 'past century' way in cold hard BTC, thanks very much.  And I couldn't use the NFT to make a bet on something else.  With BTC it's as easy as sending it to my favorite book and start making my bets.

Weigh ins will start in 45 mins or so guys.  Let's see how these fighters look on the scale.

Mercedes really started to seem that they were really recovering. Ferrari are making too many mistakes now and this is quite likely to cost them very much. I'm not even saying that Leclerc would lose his chance to become the champion of this season. Because he is already in a really bad situation as he is 80 points away from Verstappen. Ferrari should at least focus on not losing in the constructor standings. Even though they have been bad they can still catch up with Red Bull.

At this point , Ferrari should totally rethink their strategy , maybe even hire a new one as back up or as principle because it's clearly that the current group of Ferrari is not working and it will not work for the rest of the season. Meanwhile , summer break is here and Binotto is hiding from the news and press , thinking that if he let some days passes by , media and the fans will forget about it. Well ...I think this time , Binotto might be out until summer break is over. Who can replace him ? Hmm...hard to tell yet.

You're right , at this point , Mercedes will catch Ferrari and will overtake them in constructor championship and I think they will.

The question is, if ever Ferrari does decide to replace the pit wall at the end of the season, does the replacement for team principal have to be Italian?  I know, I know...  It's Ferrari.  I mean no offense but it hasn't really been working out for them since the days of Jean Todt who I think brought his Benneton team with him at Ferrari.

And I think Binotto is an asset as a chief technical officer.  They should keep him around to build good cars and leave the role of team principal to somebody else.

One more point. I did gamble on the first match day last season on brentford to win their first game, incidentally against Arsenal who also opens the season. If I were not a Liverpool supporter I would take Fulham any day. Value odds!

West Ham over 8/1 and Brighton over 5/1 also feel value to me wink nudge.

Wtf?  Take Fulham to win against Liverpool?  You're not just saying that to get the pool noobs to pick Fulham to win, are you?  Lolol.

It's a long shot but I get how maybe West Ham could win at home.  And this is the genius Moyes..  A guy who could out fox even the great Guardiola.  But United to lose at home in the first league match of the season?  And against Brighton?  I mean maybe but Brighton would have to be more than what they were last season.

Tell you what..  Let's have a friendly bet.  If ever a third match between Nunes and Pena is organized by the UFC this year and if I'm still in a sig campaign, I'll pay you 20 bucks if Pena wins and if Nunes wins you put 'tokeweed is a UFC betting GOD' in your personal text.  Cheesy
Thanks for fair offer, but win or lose I won't write on my profile that you or anyone else in forum is a God  Smiley
My counter offer if third fight is set to happen this year, we can talk in private and set exact terms and public bet for winner.
We can set exact amount of money, maybe 50 or 100 USD worth of Bitcoin directly sent to your wallet or Sportsbet account.
Do you agree?

I mean I really hope the fight happens before Nunes retires.  She was lightning up Pena and knocking her down 3 - 4 times in the rematch.

Anyway...  Here's the Multi Master guys.

2349  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 04, 2022, 08:37:42 AM
I don't think $25k was very strong support when we were falling (especially compared with $27-$30k). I'd've expected more resistance already getting up to $24k than we've already seen and I think we'll see quite a lot after $27k but perhaps not much until then (unless we fall back to another support).

Yeah..  It's looking like it a couple of hours after making this thread.  Lmao.  And here I was thinking it's green candles from here on out.  It almost feels like somebody out there doesn't want BTC to trend up just yet.  Lol.  But dunno..  It can't stay down under 25k forever.  It's just a matter of time before we see some greens shooting straight up and make us a little something to lose to the books.  Cheesy

And just 10 votes?  C'mon guys it's just for fun.  Get in here and vote or chime in.

What you listed changes the score in the game (in most cases) and therefore completely changes the whole game. I would not want this to be left to the subjective opinion of the referee. It will be unpleasant for me to watch the game knowing that, for example, the erroneous decision of the referee completely changed its result.
We were doing fine without VAR.  And here's the thing, there were instances when the red called for VAR and watched the replay, they still got the call wrong.  I mean isn't that what's riling everybody up?  What's the use of VAR even if the interpretation of the data is still subjective to the guy making the calls?

Anyway, I'm gonna log in my account now and go have a look around Superbru.  Grin  Has anybody made their predictions yet?

To be honest, I do not understand what cases you are talking about. Are these cases where non-obvious offside rules are applied, as in the game France - Spain in the League of Nations when Mbappe scored from a "logical" offside position?

I can't point one out on top of my head right now...  But ok let's wait for the season to start and I'm pretty sure there will be a few that'll pop up.  And it usually happens like the ref still makes the wrong call even after VAR.  It's almost like they've already set their minds on the call even if the evidence in front of him says otherwise or at least argues against the call.  League matches not so much happens.  It's in the UCL I've noticed some shenanigans.

Anyway, excited for the new season with these new interesting transfers.
2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 04, 2022, 08:20:16 AM
^  Again, I said from a betting perspective.  And in case you missed the point, read this...  Leclerc has been lined the favorite to win in some tracks and if he's the slight underdog, it's very close to Verstappen.  If you bet on Leclerc every GP because 'he has a fast car', I'm pretty sure you've lost most of the time because the team sucks.  Cheesy

Now I'm guessing Mercedes might have figured something out and we'll see improved performance from their car.  It could end up Merc snatching the second spot in the constructor's championship if Ferrari isn't careful.
2352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 04, 2022, 07:20:55 AM
Alonso to Aston Martin, what do you think about it?. I'm happy that we will see probably last remaining old school driver in F1 for at least 2 seasons. Move to Aston Martin looks like step back, Alpine seems to have better perspective. But such decision is understandable, Alpine offered him just one year contract.

It's not Binotto imho.  He's the brilliant guy in the team who made them a good, competitive car that can win races.  He was a chief technical officer before he was the team pricipal after all.  And I think he was part of the engineering team of Schumacher's days at Ferrari...  Not sure.

The guy who should be given the sack is their head of race strategy, whoever he is.  He's been making lots of bad calls for their team.  Maybe he's really working for Red Bull.  Lol.
Inaki Rueda - Red Bull fans should know names of their heroe's. He is responsible for all that bad calls Ferrari made. But Binotto is responsible too - he is team principal after all and he is responsible for everything what happens in his team.

That's the guy!  Yeah sure Binotto should be responsible but if somebody is to be given the sack, it's Inaki Rueda.  He's been making too many bad calls.  Think about it, if Leclerc had Hamilton's experience he'd be all over their pit wall and calling them out for their strategic blunders.  He could even change the strategy on the fly during the race and decide whether it's good to pit or not to pit and which call for which tires to slap on the car.

Seriously, that's how bad the Ferrari pit wall is...  And from a betting perspective, we put money in spots behind good teams.  In F1 there are just a couple rn, Red Bull and Mercedes.
2353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 04, 2022, 07:13:13 AM
Nunes is just better everywhere and she made it very clear that the loss was a fluke.  I'd bet my left nut that another match up with Nunes would be the same as what we just saw last weekend.  I mean what was everybody expecting?
Are you open to make a public bet with me about this, if fight is announced for end of this year?
I think you didn't watch this and previous fight very carefully when you can say something like this, and I am confident Nunes won't win the third fight.
This fight was won only because of good tactics made from Nunes teams, but it's going to be much more on Pena side and she is now more experienced.
Time to forget about this tow for some time, next event is starting in few days and I need to check the updates Smiley

I think that's a fair enough bet between two regs of the UFC info and prediction thread.

But really, I don't think a third match will be made by the UFC.  I heard that Pena has been campaigning for a third match in Rogan.  And she's been saying Nunes is a 'coward' if she doesn't take it.  Cheesy  I dunno man..  Pena drank her own kool aid after the first fight, now she's all just crazy talk.

Please check...  Thanks.  I 'feel' like I'm gonna win me one of these this season.  Cheesy

Anyway, glad it's back!  Thanks FJ!  Smiley  It has become one of my staples of what to do before watching the matches every weekend.

2356  Economy / Speculation / BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 03, 2022, 01:33:56 PM
Hey guys...

With BTC finishing up in the green for the month of July, I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys are somewhat bullish now.  And rightly so.  I kinda am too.  But here's the thing..  Do you guys think the momentum will continue enough for August and for BTC to form higher lows?

Question in the poll...  I think 25k is a solid psychological resistance.

2357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 03, 2022, 01:12:35 PM
^  I think the UFC was setting it up during the first match up between Nunes and Pena...  Harrison was at the audience and I think carrying her belt.  Lol.  Typical..  Maybe there was a dog and pony show for the fans if Nunes had won the first match.  Grin

Anyway, here's my lottery ticket for the event.  I'm not really that confident about this one.  The top ticket should win tho.

Luque - Hill at 2.02
Add:  Oleksiejczuk - McKinney - Quinlan at 3.68
Add:  Battle - Lipski - Sakai at 23.63
Add:  Granger - Egger at 117.78
Add:  Miller - Usman at 607.96

Most of the votes are with Man City, including mine.  Lol.  But as I keep thinking more about it, I think Bayern has a great chance to win it, maybe even a tad more than City.  And there's also Klopp's Liverpool and the gritty Real Madrid.  I'm also thinking Xavi's Barca could have a lucky run too because that's mostly what tourney football comes down to.  Some skill and a whole lot of luck.
2359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: August 03, 2022, 08:08:39 AM
Yeah it is half way thru the season and they are break for the rest of the summer that is left until end of August.
Three week hiatus seems like a very long time to wait until the next race. But Red bull are going into comfortably infront of the rest of the pack.
Ferrari as Leclerc has said have been making questionable calls when it comes to his car.
Tyre changes cost him this race and everybody can see that.

Due to the start of the football season, this break will pass very quickly (at least for me). I even missed the last race completely because I was distracted by football. As for the results, I can say that they are very sad, since the intrigue dies very quickly and it is no longer clear what should happen to revive it. Ferrari surprises - sometimes technical problems, sometimes miscalculations of the team, sometimes just a unluck, but something negative happens to them all the time. I wonder if there is a chance that this black bar will end?

But really...  If we ask ourselves, is it really still a surprise?  :/  The guy calling the shots for their strategy sucks and has been sucking for most of the season.  Binotto should give him the sack amd hire another guy.  And despite Ferrari's technical issues, they still have a fast, decent car that could win races.  It's just the team seems like it's not really supporting the drivers.  We've seen this before with Vettel.  But most everyone just chalked it off as 'Vettel ain't good enough.'...  Now we're seeing what's really up.
2360  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 03, 2022, 07:57:28 AM
I think there should be a rule that VAR should only be used if there's an offense made that's a red card.  This is very important especially in critical matches that could impact a club's season.  Hand balls, off sides, penalties..  We could do without VAR.  This is just me but I accept the human factor of the gsme by leaving such decisions to the officials.

Anyway, when do we get the pool invite link?  I want to take a peek and look around.  Smiley  Superbru website can be confusing.
