I'm already looking forward to the next Formula 1 race and whether Alonso and Aston Martin can keep up the performance and fight for the podium with Ferrari. It looks like RedBull is very dominant and no other car is as strong.

I'm also looking forward to the start of MotoGP, but I expect Ducati to be very dominant this year, just like RedBull in Formula 1.

In the next race, I think Ferrari will do the pole position quite easily but in the race, RBR will dominate again.

The have so low degradation on the tires, there is no competition so far.

Kinda like how it was last year?  It could happen but dunno...  The new cars seem to have everything in order except for a couple of adjustments in the upper midtable, like Aston Martin getting replaced by Mercedes by the time the GP's go to Europe?

I feel like Mercedes' engineering team are too good to be beaten by the likes of Aston Martin.  But it's a good start and it's good to see imho.  The team I want to see rise on the grid is Williams.

After my wooden spoon 🥄 moment from the Bahrain Grand Prix, clearly this was a sign I had quite a lot going on at the moment and didnt have my head in the game , &  unfortunately will be sitting this one out, thanks for the opportunity team motorsport. All the best to all.

Frankly I'm disappointed after this decision you have made. Because the reason why we indicated the last payment date as March 17 was not for you to test out the pool. It was for making it easy for you to make the payment. I wonder what the pool participants are thinking about this.
That is a pool captain lesson for you CLS, there some good people in betting section but most are here to make the campaign posts and/or game as much contests as possible.  That is why I try to avoid late entries as much as possible.

If somebody can't pay I tell them to PM me and then I loan the entry fee. That way the person always pays since they feel obliged and if they don't I can always red tag them.

Here you didn't specifically wrote that whoever joins must pay so I feel red tagging is a bit too much. It was implied of course. It is a dick move but nothing you can really do about it. Kick woodie out of the pool and that is it. Put him on your private black list and demand money upfront from him if similar situation presents itself.

And he left after getting a wooden spoon too.  I mean wtf.  Lol.  The question is would he have left if he got the yellow cap?  Cheesy Cheesy

Anyway, it's ok.  I think next time CLS should give a firm warning that here in the gambling section, our word is our bond.  It's prolly the last real section of the forum left where people know what they're talking about.  The rest mostly has a lot of people blabbering with stuff that we just don't know if they really say what they believe.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 14, 2023, 12:16:52 PM
The match between Gaethje and Fiziev excites me more than the main event.  Fiziev has been one of my favorite fighters in the roster since his win vs Marc Diakiese...  I bet for Diakiese in that one.  Cheesy  But I was pretty impressed with Fiziev.
Yeah, I'm not sure why Justin is getting overlooked so much. He's currently sitting around 2.90 for a straight out win, which in my opinion is way too wide. I think the fights far more competitive than the bookies are putting out.

For Vettori vs Dolidze, I feel like Dolidze is a live dog.  Would I bet it or put in my lottery ticket?  I don't know...  :/
Vettori grinds out a win for me. I'll probably be going for a decision win by him, as I think he hasn't got enough to finish the fight, but he's a dog, and definitely knows how to grind fights out. Depending, highly on the value the bookies give on the decision win.

As for Mokaev, remember that Malcom Gordon gave him a hard time on the ground during Mokaev's last time in the cage.  If it went the distance, it could've been a split decision that would've gone either way.  I'll watch it again at MMACore.
Yeah, as far as I remember Mokeav did get the takedown quite a bit, but he couldn't keep him down. Mokeav is obviously very talented, but he's just not a finisher, at least when he starts fighting against better competitors than he has done previously.

I think Usman is going to try and finish it early via ground and pound or just like what he did Masvidal via KO and give one back to Edwards.
I think he'll be playing a risky game if he does that. Obviously, he's good enough, but Leon will be hoping Usman comes in reckless, and could very well get caught again. Leon's kicks are elite, and incredibly quick. If Usman goes in there, and plays safe he probably gets the win 9 times out of 10. He was dominating that fight up until that head kick, I don't want to take anything from Leon because it was executed perfectly, but it was likely just the stars aligning for him. Usman, clearly had him beat, and to be honest I don't see anything different happening from the first fight, except Usman managing to stay safe up until the end.

I'm not saying Usman goes out there with guns blazing.  He'll still be playing his game but he'll be looking to get the KO if the opportunity presents itself.  And remember, he had the last match in the bag if not for the head kick.  R2 to R5 would've been all Usman and he was on his way to a win.  I wasn't even watching anymore as it was already so clear that Edwards was mentally broken til the MMA gods gave him a miracle.  I don't think he'll get another chance imho.

My lottery ticket...  Hope I get a better result after last event's disaster.  Lol.

Oh and again with all the jpegs in BTC, they'll stop thinking XMR is at odds with BTC.  XMR is going to be their go to in case something breaks.

Here's the thing about Majestic 7 tho, it's freerolling a chance to win 10k which really should be or is +EV.  No matter how the odds are stacked against you, as long as the outlay is 0, you have nothing to lose and everything to win.  So it's an auto join for as long as they keep it up every match day of every season.

I've been pushing for something like this but for MMA...  I think with how the UFC is becoming more popular, some books could make their own Majestic 7 type freeroll to get everybody's attention.

It's +EV, no question! Anyone who needs explaining for that... the explanation's wasted on them.

You do know there is something similar for MMA on another book at this forum, though, right? I play it every time there's an event. Even managed to knock down some freebets there too. Picking the winner, though, rather than a scorer.

For you, how would a MajSev look like for MMA though? It'd have to be a count on something rare like a goal.

The Multi Master, yeah...  I meant a real facility in a sports betting site's website where we can make our picks just like FJ's Majestic 7.

As for how it would look like, I'd make it a full event prediction contest that picks not just the winner but the method of victory too...  If it's via KO/TKO, via submission or via decision.  It's not as easy as it looks to get more than 50% of winners and the method of victory right every week.

UFC 286: Edwards vs. Usman 3

MAIN EVENT

Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman

CO-MAIN EVENT

Justin Gaethje vs. Rafael Fiziev

MAIN CARD

Marvin Vettori vs. Roman Dolidze

PRELIMINARY CARD

Muhammad Mokaev vs. Jafel Filho

WOW! I never thought that the next event will be this one in this event I think the main event is surely a juicy one for me I will breakdown the cards for this event and then I would like to add up the next event after this because for me all event after this one will be juicier, starting with

Leon Edwards VS Kamaru Usman

We all know that the following rounds 2 - 4 were all for Kamaru Usman the 1st round was for Leon Edwards in their 2nd bout while that nasty kick was from the 5th round that shocked everyone even Kamaru Usman has seen stunned and can not play his words that he lost now in this 3rd fight we could see if Leon Edwards could win another great KO/TKO of Kamaru Usman will retain his title with some shocking comeback,

Justin Gaethje VS Rafael Fiziev

I would see another Justin Gaethje technical performance for sure this is going to be exciting while Rafael Fiziev might get the power in his punch while Gaethje will surely rely on his fight IQ the most, I really want to watch Justin Gaethje in this epic performance and what he can do against Fiziev,

Marvin Vettori VS Roman Dolidze

Now this is really interesting I don't really see some technical aspect between these two fighters but I am surely interested in this aswell if Marvin Vettori defeated Paolo Costa that is much huge and have a weight advantage over him then I think he can surely pummel Dolidze, but I will check the previous fights of Roman Dolidze, I might have missed something,

Muhammad Mokaev VS Jafel Filho

The Kid Khabib is what I am looking forward to seeing here, that incredible suplex that he is doing is what I am expected to see but Filho is not a push that is why I would really like to see him in a hard fight and this one is a great one to try what Kid Khabib can do,

The match between Gaethje and Fiziev excites me more than the main event.  Fiziev has been one of my favorite fighters in the roster since his win vs Marc Diakiese...  I bet for Diakiese in that one.  Cheesy  But I was pretty impressed with Fiziev.

For Vettori vs Dolidze, I feel like Dolidze is a live dog.  Would I bet it or put in my lottery ticket?  I don't know...  :/

As for Mokaev, remember that Malcom Gordon gave him a hard time on the ground during Mokaev's last time in the cage.  If it went the distance, it could've been a split decision that would've gone either way.  I'll watch it again at MMACore.

Kamaru Usman is likely going to be much safer this time, he'll likely look to chain wrestle, while Leon has good take down defense, he still isn't the best at wrestling. Obviously, it was a bit of a shock moment last time when Leon manged to knock him out, but I can't see that happening again. The good thing is, Usman was at 1.40 which is decent odds considering he pretty much dominated that fight up until he was knocked out. We'll have to get closer to the event to see what the odds are on him winning a decision, which is what I think will be the value bet here.

I think Usman is going to try and finish it early via ground and pound or just like what he did Masvidal via KO and give one back to Edwards.
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DAI and USDC depegged! on: March 12, 2023, 12:47:55 PM
That's very bad news for crypto. If USDC goes down, lots of banks and other institutes will go down with it. Hell it even might affect USDT and other stable coins too. This has the potential to create a total meltdown on crypto and if crypto gets affected that widely then it would affect the stock market. That would create a very big hole in the markets.

But why is that happening now? Is it because Powell's hawkish speech or was this planned long time ago?

I feel like something very big and very bad is coming towards us.

Probably this is the aftershock of FTX collapse once again since the fund involves is just circulating on all the project that get bankrupt.

I saw this image that explains graphically on these companies connected to each other through USDC funds.

I’m expecting more company will follow since USDC has a lot of exposure. What puzzles me is the DAI. I still don’t see their involvement to USDC while it’s token is depegged on same level with USDC. Let’s wait for the full report.

I smell that this move is related to CBDC preparation.

I don't you haven't been reading about crypto much.  I mean I haven't been reading about it as much as I used to but I think I still have a grasp on things.  The thing is, Circle is holding some USD backing the USDC in some bank that went down so a lot of people who hold USDC have been dumping them for other stables, hence losing the peg.

And with DAI, most of DAI is backed by USDC.  Lol.

I suck.  Lol.  Note to self:  Never ever put low level WMMA matches at the top ticket.

And I had a really bad read on Yan.  All the high level guys are beating up on him.  I hope the books tag him as an underdog next time vs a young up and coming prospect.  That should be a good spot for him.

Anyway, I want to forget this event now.  On to 286...  Cheesy Cheesy

Watch this match.  The main event is gonna be their third match this weekend.

Felt good with this round of Majestic 7 until I saw Bournemouth scoring a goal in against Liverpool first before HT.  I'm like 'ah it's one of those days.'.  Now I feel like my pick for the match, Salah, isn't getting one in.  Lol.

The best result I had this season is 4 right picks just last week.  Lol.  When was the last time somebody won 10k?  I think it was at the first month of last season.

Yeah, and Salah missing the penalty, which doesn't happen often. Not that it matters, I had Nunez on. Saw you had Felix, too bad his goal got chalked off.

Last winner? First game of the season actually... and IIRC might even be the season before last! Time is a blur for me, and MajSev is not my thang anymore (if it ever was, I do recall many freebets before).

^  I know right?  I don't know what's going on for most of the whole thing these days.  And it seems like a lot of people around these parts do...  Do they?  Lol.

And it seems that we are moving further away from that $25k. I mean with the recent development in US, still in the proposition stage though, but it has created a lot of negative news already with regards to the 30% tax on bitcoin miners.

That $20k support though is holding up, it's fluctuating to $19,700-$20,000 right now.

But I guess March will not be good after all.

Yeah..  It's def looking like it.  But one good thing to take from all the shenanigans is BTC has been very resilient even tho there was a huge sell down that went on this past week.  If something like the thing that's going on now happened last year it would for sure be a -10k move.  And that's just for the first couple of days.  There aren't that much sellers left anymore.  I know it sucks but we're all still lucky because it could be worse.  Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
1414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 11, 2023, 01:47:22 PM
Said Nurmagomedov is massive favorite for me but odds are not great unless you play some special bet on him.
My pick in Multi Master Challenge is on Ariane Lipski to win and she is heavy underdog and it will be huge surprise, but I just like it.
I probably wont watch this event live but it is worth checking main card later.

Yeah, he has the potential to be a clean sweep, get the finish early on. However, I honestly think people put too much emphasis on the name, and just expect them to steam roll. Said, isn't Khabib, and definitely has shown several weaknesses. Now, I don't know if Jonathan Martinez is the man to put him to the sword, but he's got a decent record, and it should be at least a challenge. Also, I find Said a lot more risky than some of the others with an association of Khabib.

Ariane Lipski has the chance, but if I was to bet on her, I'd have to with the decision, hoping that she puts out enough volume. I don't she'll be finishing the fight, but there's a lot more value in the decision.

Jonathan Martinez is a decent fighter and is a live underdog in this spot.  My pick is still Nurmagomedov due to his durability and Martinez chin is kinda suspect but I'm not really sure why the books lined it this wide.  It should be closer imho.

Here's my lottery ticket after weigh ins.

Yan - Aldrich - Bautista
Add:  Dumas - Nurmagomedov - Harris
Add:  Spann - Williams

Nice promo, ampera. Been a while since I flexed on casino wager, but I'm too busy with sports betting these days (and even that's a pale shadow of the activity I used to have).

Anyone feel good about this week's MajSev? Most of the prolific teams are in on the list, and teams like Liverpool are on the rise. Salah? Nunez? Gakpo? Damn =D

That's mean alternatively, if btc falls flat altcoin will dies off. What their deep relationship? Why btc important to altcoin, what's the connection in between? Will altcoins really survive without btc?

You're wrong.  Maybe you could be right at the time when Ethereum was just starting out.  But now?  Ethereum def doesn't need BTC to exist to survive.  Do you know how much in fees Ethereum generates on a daily basis?  I'd imagine it's more than double than what BTC generates.  And it's the most used blockchain in crypto right now, BTC not so much.  I don't think I have to check onchain activity to confirm it.

ETH is where it's gonna be all at bud, even with the technical inferiorities.

I fully doubt that Mbappe would stay at PSG when Messi and Neymar were both the leave the club unless PSG can bring in at least one, or even better, two huge names from the soccer world into the team. If that is not the case, Mbappe won't be wasting his time playing with unknown names in Paris. They will try to keep Messi I think. For Messi it is also not the time yet to go to America. I think he wants to play the Champions League at least one or two times more and perhaps add one more title or beat Ronaldo's record for total goals scored.

Regarding Ancelotti, I would love if he remains the coach of Real Madrid. He is a real asset to the whole world of soccer. A true gentleman, a great coach who always finds respectful words both in times of awful defeats and in times of glorious victories. I like the attitude a lot and players and fans and everyone likes him.
He did say that Real Madrid will be hist last club, so it comes down to Real Madrid's plans and whether they want to fire him or not when he doesn't win anything. I must say that not winning anything this year doesn't mean he was a bad coach. Every team has these years where they fall a bit behind in the domestic league, perhaps get kicked out of the national cup (Copa del Rey in this case) due to rather unlucky circumstances and what not. Hopefully he is given another year to compete for more titles.

He was always destined to leave PSG sooner or later.  He has the profile for it.  Imagine...  Young player under 25, a profilic goal scorer, has the makings to win Ballon d'Or and all of the other high honors in European football, surely hungry to win something outside of Ligue 1 and a young guy like that prolly wants to make more money.  I mean what am I saying, he def wants to make more money.

I don't know where he'll end up but a player like him seems like Real Madrid is the best fit.

you didn't get my response right. If you are OK with providing you documents, why do you disagree to make a video call! Your identity have been already disclosed the moment you've uploaded your gov. I'd.

I'd hate to go through a video call too.  I mean who wouldn't?  It's a hassle.  But I have never in my life experienced it in all my days of dealing with exchanges, poker sites and sports betting sites both fiat and crypto.  Maybe in my case it never really needed to go up to that point cos if an exchange or a gambling site is asking for a video call after you uploaded your passport or driver's license...  Something is up.  So you better make sure your face matches the the pic in the ID or you say good bye to your money.  :/
