AFAIK paper wallet is vulnerable only to a couple of things - wrench attack, and physical theft with no wrench involved.

I don't think it will or should be deleted. Scams are not moderated. Locking and re-creating a thread as self-mod is allowed. There is no option to make an existing thread self-mod, and there's a good reason for that too but I digress. AFAIK there is no rule that has been broken here.
I never said a word scam, and creating new duplicate topic with purpose to hide feedback and flags is not allowed, especially with some fake designer notice. Obviusly tried to play around the rules to avoid getting same feedback for fake manager. I understand your concern, but I agree that the thread is unlikely to be deleted. Report it if you disagree, and the mods will take a look. Feedback isn't moderated either.
All we can do is Tag and Flag it. I haven't had a chance to look into it, but I will. Flag will help burn another of their bought accounts, then if it's an actual copy/paste can maybe report it for plagiarism, then you could likely take out the whole army with Ban evasion tactics
Agreed, a tag and flag for the OP of the thread is all that can be done. If @notblox1 feels that strongly he should create a flag and those who agree will support it. |

I have been a while in the forum seeing a lot of people talking about trust setting, negative trust, and DT members.
I don't know how you saw and noticed them. You registered this account yesterday only. You don't have to register an account to lurk, and he didn't say anything about when he joined the forum. I lurked for a couple of weeks before deciding to join, I imagine I'm not alone. Of course, the OP could be an alt account of a recent recipient of a red-tag, plotting his revenge!  |

Here's something interesting that I found: On August 15, 2018 SmokerFace requested a loan which was apparently filled by Parodium, who held the SmokerFace account as collateral. Well, someone did tag the account; user Loan Shark did, using this post (in the loan request thread) as reference: Just want inform anyone interested in loaning this guy. He had a loan with me before, and he actually never paid (sorta).
He had a collateral loan with me, but it fell below required levels. I asked if he was willing to deposit more collateral to keep the collateral level to minimum, he said he can't but he promises to pay the loan no matter what. In the end I ended up losing on his loan and he never did pay up.
Just something you guys should consider.
I don't have the proofs anymore as I lost my original telegram (since I've been super inactive the past couple of months). So it is up to the lender if you want to lend this guy.
Note: He also offered to give his account as payment but when the time came, he said he "sold" the account then after a few weeks he retracted that statement and said he didn't. Overall, I should have filed a case against this guy but was too lazy at the time. But seeing him here again, just makes me want to come out and tell the story.

Prior to the loan SmokerFace used to post in the Filipino board regularly, but has not since his return. It's also worth noting that Parodium doesn't, and never has posted in Filipino board, as far as I can tell. This all brings up some questions: Is the account still in Parodium's possession? Did the account get returned to the original owner? Was the account sold by Parodium? |

~ That's not how I see it working, and no I don't want to escrow anything. I don't know if I'll get a response from anyone, and if I do I will make every effort to confirm that the person who does respond is actually someone with the authority to handle Tec's funds. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that I will never get a response. I don't care to go into details about why I had excluded Tecshare, there's actually a bunch of discussions about it if anyone wants to research it. But, suffice it to say it wasn't because I don't (or didn't) like him. I was contacted by another member of the forum who also had a deal in the works with Techshare, so I volunteered to try to get into contact with his family. And really, why not me? Would someone else step up if I didn't? I just want to help. If you don't feel comfortable sending the funds to some random person who claims to be a relative of Tecshare, then I suggest donating the funds to the forum or some charity that Tec would have approved of. Or keep the funds, I'm not trying to shake anyone down. |

Many folks here have had political disagreements with Tecshare, and once again I would urge people to be respectful. This has turned into a eulogy thread, and in my opinion it's not place for "I told you so." Your thoughts have already been cataloged in countless threads about those subjects.
Tecshare has some unfinished business here, and I'd like to help settle his affairs. As much as I can, without being disrespectful of his privacy I will try to keep things transparent. If all goes according to plan one of more of his family members will likely be made aware of this forum, and possibly find this thread. So please keep in mind that you're not only setting the tone for your own account but the community as a whole. I would like to believe that we're better than that. This a perfect time to start practicing a little bit of unity.

Is the premier league re-launched for some places ? Arsenal is getting wins, Leicester is dropping points and Liverpool is back on track. All that remains is for Man City to make some bad steps and loose some points here and there and we could have some crazy games when the season is about to end. Arsenal has had a couple of good games, please don't jinx it!  It would be fun to see them win the Europa cup, or make it to the top 4. Or both. A guy can dream. The win over Benifica was huge, that was fun to watch. That first goal they gave up sure didn't look good, though. How could their defense break down like that? And then nearly the same thing against Leicester. It was nice to see them bounce back and take the wins. It would be fun to see ManU and LFC close the gap on City, I prefer drama at the end of the season. |

I should be clear that I believe that women in middle eastern countries should have more rights. With that being said, these countries have different cultural norms than the West. Just a slight correction; I wouldn't say that applies to all middle eastern countries. Jordan, for example allows women all the rights of men. Women not only get to drive, but they can vote, and hold office. Jordan isn't alone, but they are the most democratic of the middle eastern monarchies. That doesn't mean they've abandoned their family traditions, or religious culture.
I would point to the number of asylum claims from women who are from the UAE and Saudi Arabia as to how women in these countries view themselves. I take it you're implying there aren't many? That may be true, but for a variety of reasons there weren't many slaves that attempted to escape from cotton plantations either.
Yes, that's how it works. Some we sanction, some we regard as trusted friends, some we sell weapons to. And as shocking as their treatment of women is, that's not even the main issue in the UAE... 88% of the 'population' consists of migrant labourers who are effectively slaves. Look at this report from the International Campaign For Freedom in the UAE. One thing that's rarely brought up about the makeup UAE citizens; they are almost always family of the Emir, and they are almost always wealthy business men, land owners, oil barons, or the henchmen of the afore mentioned. So, no, you won't find them risking their lives in the oil fields. That's why Allah surrounded them with dirty Syrians, Iraqis, and Egyptians who've been displaced by wars they exasperated. |

Hmm, hedging your bets is not what bookies are afraid of or the reason, why they don't allow multi-accounting. (Maybe you meant arbitrage ? Even though that is no problem with multi-accounting as well or would just be a small one). The reasons multi-accounting is not allowed are:
a) Bonus/Promotion abuse
Most bookies offer a bonus for your first deposit. This bonus has some rollover requirement, but is free money in the end. If multi-accounting was allowed, I could just take this bonus gazillion times and meeting the rollover requirement easily by doing the same in another bookie and play opposing bets in markets with low vig all the time, like US sports for example. Bet over in bookie A, bet under in bookie B and I will lose only a few % per bet, while getting my money withdrawable again.
The same goes for some promotions, where the more entries you can make, the higher your chances to win these promotions.
b) Getting rid of unprofitable players
Winning users/accounts get a personal limit and can only stake very low then. These users only cost the bookie money and thus their accounts are made basically unusable. If multi-accounting would be allowed, these users could just make new accounts over and over, which is of course not wanted.
This is not fair (I think), but it is what it is and as said above a good risk management has its pros as well. The asian bookies have a better approach, since they don't limit these players but just follow their bets, maybe even with better odds and/or higher stakes and thus they are making money even with a generally unprofitable customer. And you can also use (or should I say abuse ?) these winning players to sharpen your odds, i.e. check what they are doing and adjust your odds accordingly. Thanks for the correction. ~ Multiple accounts hurt sportsbooks' bottom line, and help gamblers hedge their bets. This will never change, it's the nature of gambling. By adding the multi-account restrictions into their ToS sportsbooks are just trying to protect their business interests. If you're a gambler that wants to hedge-bet why not use two or more different sportsbooks? There are definitely opportunities for sportsbooks to use KYC to selectively void successful bets, and I'm sure that does happen. I believe that asking for KYC right off the bat, however is a non-starter. Most clients won't oblige a sportsbook that requests documents before deposits, and unfortunately it's most likely because they're in violation of one of the sportsbook's terms from the begging. I'll use myself as an example: I live in a state where online gambling isn't allowed, and my favorite sportsbook doesn't offer it's services in my country. So to use my favorite sportsbook I have to travel to a neighboring nation. If they were to ever ask me for my KYC dox, I would have no choice but to disclose that I live in a country where their service isn't offered, and hope that my explanation would suffice. Of course, if they were to suspect that I used their service while in my home country (through the use of VPN, for example) they would not only be in the right to lock my account, it might be their legal obligation. There's also the stigma on the industry itself: The gambling industry is probably the second oldest profession in human history, and only slightly less stigmatized than the oldest. It's understandable, many people find it addicting, and it can be damaging. So here comes the government, once again claiming to protect us from ourselves. Being somewhat conservative (small case libertarian) in my political views, I find government intervention more damaging. I live in a state where they allow a certain ethnic group to build casinos (it really sounds preposterous when I type it out like that,) and there's no lack of them popping up in old cow pastures and on desolate hillsides. I'm perfectly allowed to throw my paycheck into a slot machine, on a craps game, or a roulette wheel, but I can't (legally) make a much less risky bet by gambling on a football game from my desk. Sportsbooks aren't run by dumb people, so they must know this. Which is one of the reasons they often find themselves in disputes with their clients. It's such a slippery slope; on one hand sportsbooks want to attract as many clients as possible, and on the other hand they want to abide by local laws and protect their interests. Which brings me to the point of my post: THIS IS CRYPTO! I've never considered myself an outlaw, but there have been at least a couple of nanny-state laws at which I've scoffed. This is the freedom that crypto currency allows us; to do the things that the nanny-state prohibits with their hypocritical efforts to protect us from ourselves. I hope you're right about some form of blockchain or smart contract technology that help resolve these issues. But until then, I think we're destined to see online casinos attempt to protect themselves with restrictive Terms of Service, and gamblers will continue to violate them. |

AdkinsBET's trolls only care to advocate justice when other sportsbooks are implicated. They only want to besmirch the names of legitimate sportsbooks so that theirs doesn't stand out as an obvious scam. Not only is it not helping, it's actually causing further harm to the AdkinsBET brand. If the troll behind all those accounts had a single functioning braincell he would have recognized that already. |

What do you propose to happen to these countries? These countries are not democracies, so public pressure will not have much effect, as there are no elections that might result in changes. Sanctions are an act of War, and could result in net harm if they decline to sell their oil to the rest of the world.
I haven't proposed anything, I was just asking questions. But since you bring it up, sanctions are used against countries that violate the rights of their citizens all the time, so why not the oil-rich countries of the middle east? Do we selectively sanction abusive regimes based on whether they have commodities we want? |

As I understand it I cant re-setup the wallet in Ledger Live with the 24 word seed without a nanoS or nanoX device neither of which I have Correct. If the information is that critical you can buy a Ledger Nano S, restore it with the same seed phrase, and connect it to Ledger Live. I didnt realise that Electrum would only show BTC I thought it did all the BIP standards of (BIP32/BIP39/BIP44)?
If you remember all the coins you traded you can use other tools to restore your transactions. For ETH and any ERC20 tokens you can use MyEtherWallet. You can restore your ETH/ERC20 transactions by using the same seed phrase and passphrase. But don't enter your seed on the online version. Instead, you should download the latest release from their github repository, and run it off the hard drive of a clean computer.
