@Timelord2067, lol.  Don't hold your breath about getting that loan.

This:
Only 18+

Should tell you all you need to know about this request.  It's obviously a phishing expedition.

Also, the scammer is too lazy to scam anyone here, he want's to do it conveniently on Telescam.

Details by mail or telegram @CrybtoBTC_adm

But, I figure you're doing a little bit of fishing yourself, of course.  Wink

Then the  following  day I went to the office and the director told me to fill a form and pay $3 which I did.

Definitely a scam, sorry for your loss.
1543  Economy / Reputation / Re: For the reputation of this forum: you HAVE to rule on this flag! Share 10mBTC on: May 23, 2022, 08:30:17 PM
For choosing the Escrow there are no rules, except that the limit date is 25th of may. Or I might do the giveaway myself. I am unable to do all of this for getting people to rule on this flag and the Escrow does not. I simply need any trusted member to come out and say "I made up my mind" and he'll get the money. Only afterwards he'll rule. And believe me I won't be disappointed for whatever he does. On the other hand I won't be neither trying to interfere in his work whatsoever nor trying to argue with him on why he opposed the flag or....  I'll just leave him alone.

That's a silly stipulation, and to be honest it makes me think that you're not really committed to honoring the lottery.  In your position, I would want someone who's not participating in the giveaway to manage the money, if for no other reason than to ensure impartiality from the escrow.

I will be checking Switzerland thks.

Lol, Switzerland already gave you his answer.

And last, if you want to state clear ToS to be in line with what they actually did, it would be (in italicized what they DON'T put in their terms)
-We reserve the right, to cancel any identical bets and consider only the first bet as valid.

That sounds pretty clear to me; i.e. they can cancel the bets.  It doesn't say that they can cancel the bet only before the event.  It's obvious they don't want people making duplicate bets on their site, probably because they want to limit the prize to something they can afford to pay.  So, either find another site without a limit or without a duplicate-bet stipulation, or don't duplicate your bets on FortuneJack.

Maybe their terms aren't as clear as they can be, but what is clear and obvious; you were engaging in funny business, and they're protecting themselves from your shenanigans.
1544  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Interface disconnecting due to RPCError on: May 23, 2022, 07:57:00 PM
Sorry, I have no experience with the coin in question, but this looks funny to me.

worldcoin.conf:
Code:
listen=1
server=1
txindex=1
rpcuser=worldcoin
rpcpassword=worldcoin
rpcallowip=0.0.0.0/0
rpcbind=0.0.0.0

addnode=....

Try removing rpcallowip, or comment it out by starting the line with a hashtag (#) like this:
Code:
#rpcallowip=0.0.0.0/0

And for rpcbind try pointing that to localhost or 127.0.0.1, like this:
Code:
rpcbind=127.0.0.1

or
Code:
rpcbind=localhost

Hopefully i got an arguments against you soon.

Hopefully?  You either do or you don't.  So far that's two different members that have PMs from you acknowledging that you're in communication with them on Telegram.  Or did you not send that PM either?  Plus, I'm still waiting for you to prove that you didn't scam the first guy:

Okay, I accept this challenge, just give me one day to prove to you that anyone can be deceived in this way, it's really absurd, I didn't want to get into it until the last.

That was 5 days ago, and I'm still waiting.  Or, when you said "prove to you that anyone can be deceived in this way" is this what you meant:

1546  Economy / Reputation / Re: For the reputation of this forum: you HAVE to rule on this flag! Share 10mBTC on: May 23, 2022, 06:23:04 PM
What do you mean by "The rest of the division"?
The rest or remainder, see https://www.wolframalpha.com/input?i=724%2F16

I see, here in 'Murica we call that fractional reduction.  Got it, thanks.
1547  Economy / Reputation / Re: For the reputation of this forum: you HAVE to rule on this flag! Share 10mBTC on: May 23, 2022, 06:03:47 PM
The rest of the division constitutes the number of the first winner, then the next 9 on the list in alphabetical order are picked. Example: hash 000000037efa8aef04ef675 and 16 participants --> We add 37 + 8 + 04 + 675 = 724 and divide by 16. The rest of the division is 4, so the winners are the 4th to 13th on the list. If the rest of division is 0, then winners are 16 and 1 to 9. If it’s 15, then winners are 15, 16 and 1 to 8.

What do you mean by "The rest of the division"?  I don't understand where these numbers are coming from.

I would love to have you as an escrow, with your conditions (we can reverse the foul language rule). Nonetheless there is one obstacle to this: you'll have to make up your mind. Of course, you don't have to communicate to me what your decision is, just mention in a post when you make up your mind, and I'll appoint you the escrow and send you the money, and only afterwards you rule on the flag.

If anything, you should pick an impartial person who's NOT going to be ruling on the flag.  I understand that the results will be open and transparent, but there could appear to be a conflict of interest.  Especially if the rules are a bit vague (see above.)

As for impartiality, Switzerland is by far the most impartial person I know on this forum, you'd do well to have his help.

I won't be supporting or opposing this flag for similar reasons to LoyceV.  Casinos in general need to be exceptionally clear in their TOS because these types of "accusations" are annoying, and very rarely are they actually scams.

It seems that my early estimates weren't all that bad... Looking forward for your review n0nce!
Thanks Rick for keeping us up to date! I think I've said it before, but I'm not happy with how they set their ETAs. It's already been like this with v1 and it hasn't improved on v2. They always set completely unrealistic ETAs and then have to push them back repeatedly. Why not just set a worst-case one and then maybe surprise customers with earlier delivery? Instead they've basically been saying 'delivery next month' since January. I'll get more into this with sources and whatnot in the review, though. This communication from them is really something I don't like.

I can't imagine it's helping their business in general.  I for one would have bought a mk3 if they had only announced the mk4 as "coming soon," but since they were taking reservations months ago I decided to wait. I imagine I'm not the only one.  The silly thing is I probably would have bought a mk4 eventually also.

ETA: 10% off for Pizza day?  To hell with the wait, I placed the order.
You're probably on the wrong board; this is about Foundation Passport, not about ColdCard! Grin

please ban this monkey he scammed me too

pplease ban this guy and his ip he is very evil scammer... not just a scammer

Scams and scammers aren't moderated on this forum, it's up to the community to handle these things.  There's no number of mods that could handle the workload if they attempted.  That's the point of having a Default Trust system that selects forum members to support the forum feedback system.

As for being scammed by ThatsMod, I'm sorry for your loss but I'm afraid there's nothing anyone can do to recover your funds.

Can please post some evidence?  If it's compelling I'm sure more DT members would tag his account.  Speaking of which, I wonder why more DT members haven't tagged this scammer already...
1552  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Consolidation of mixed outputs on: May 22, 2022, 07:01:03 PM
[1] Firstly, if you're looking to consolidate many small inputs, you could send everything to the mixer 1 input at a time. This way you won't link them when sending.
Next, send all the mixed, anonymous outputs to one address in one transaction.

I use Chipmixer's vouchers to join chips from different sessions, but like BlackHatCoiner said, if the change can be linked back to the wallet I use for my forum account I usually just consolidate it in one transaction.  Unfortunately I haven't had to worry about his other concern of appearing wealthy.  Undecided  Any change that I may have from my IRL identity wallet I'll send in a different transaction, and consolidate the chips using vouchers.  To o_e_l_e_o's point about rounding up and the value of a chip, I usually just save the dust to consolidate with a later session.

As for exchanges and privacy (and possibly anonymity) I've been on the fence about ShapShift from the start.  They looked pretty suspicious to me at first, but I may give them a try sooner or later.  The only thing you need for an account is a seed-phrase and a password.  The app will generate a Bip39 seed which can be restored in Electrum with the appropriate derivation path, and Ethereum wallets for ETH and tokens.  You can also use MetaMask or a hardware wallet to establish and login to an account.  They don't even ask for an email address.  I haven't looked to deep into the fees or trade limits, but it seems like a viable solution for small trades.

Well, that's was an amazing end to an amazing season!  Congrats to City and their fans.  It was good to see Arsenal finish the season with a big win and a lot of goals.  And congrats to Leeds for making the cut to stay in the PL.

All in all, I'm happy with Arsenal's performance this year.  A bit improvement over last year's second half debacle, and this season's pedestrian start.  The Europa League is going to be fun next year.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 22, 2022, 04:46:46 PM
Manchester City 0-1 Aston Villa

The win against Aston Villa is not going to be easy for Manchester as I had previously guessed. At the end of the second half, Manchester is trailing 1-0. Manchester City conceded the goal in the 367th minute. Aston Villa has been playing defensively since the start of the match. Aston Villa made just three shots. Ball possession Manchester City is 71%. I still expect City to win. But the city is very unlucky. Let's see if they can win the Premier League title.
The Wolves vs. Liverpool match is now a 1-1 draw. If Liverpool share the points, can't win, then Manchester City will win the title even if they lose this match. But if Liverpool can win today, Liverpool will win the title. Manchester City is attacking, but against Aston Villal's defensive tactics, City's players feel helpless. Yet I will wait until the last minute to see Manchester City win.
Aston Villa just scored another goal in the 69th.  Looks like the Premiere League Championship is LFC's to lose.
Arsenal is looking great today, they're going to get the points, but unfortunately it won't make any difference.

ETA: Poor Norwich, they're getting salt poured onto their wound.

Manchester City are really very unlucky. Their players may not play well in important matches. I have not forgotten the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League. City conceded 3 goals after 90 minutes and was defeated. They also conceded two goals against Aston Villa in today's match.
However, Gundogan and Rodri's goals in the 76th and 78th minutes equalized the match. It is still expected that City will score 3 points in this match.

Lol, well that changed quickly!  Gundogan just got another in the 81st.  LFC just scored off of a corner, so they're taking care of their business.  Can Aston Villa save themselves, and help Liverpool?

I somewhere actually read that Klopp didn't want to risk playing Salah ahead of their CL game but still so far his absence haven't affected them much. Wolves found the starting goal but Mane found the equalising one. But I won't be surprised if Liverpool find some more goals. Liverpool are having good hold on the match and shouldn't be long before they find the leading goal, its about how well Wolves hold them from here on.

I thought about that, but man, that's a week away.  That early goal by the Wolves was a bit of a shocker, but I agree that LFC still has the tools to get it done.  Seeing City down a goal to Aston Villa should be getting them motivated right now.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 22, 2022, 03:35:28 PM
All eyes were on Manchester City to know if they would slip up, but Liverpool are having a much more difficult evening against wolves after conceding the first goal.
There are still lots of minutes in both games for much more drama.

Chelsea and Tottenham have also gone one goal ahead in their individual matches.

I don't expect City to drop any points, but I am rooting for it.  Of course LFC needs to step up to the league, but they seem to be having a tough time with the Wanderers.  I was surprised to see the Salah out of the line up.  With so much on the line, why is the best player in the league not playing?  What's up with that?

Arsenal just went up 2-nil on Everton in the 31st, but I saw that happen to Everton last week.  I hope the Gunners can hold on, but we need Norwich's help!

Lol, a lot of folks seem to get frustrated with jerry, but he doesn't bother me at all.  I imagine he's not very experienced with computers, and trying to learn general computing and crypto at the same time would be daunting for any of us.  Even if he over-thinks things from time to time, at least he's making the effort and being thorough, which is to be commended.

Most of us who are more technically capable have probably been using computers for years (or decades, in my case) before getting into crypto.  Obviously that's bound to provide an advantage.

Hopefully the OP figured things out, he hasn't been back online since 4 hours after posting this thread.  It also sounds like he was using the portable version of electrum, he may have been having trouble with derivation path and accounts.

As for the rule against posting in your native tongue, or using google translate in the general boards; I think an exception should be made in the technical boards when asking for help.
