2361  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-16]Blockchain Payments’ Mass Adoption Is 3-5 Years Away, Says BitPay. . on: December 16, 2018, 03:16:52 PM
I love to take up and somehow accept predictions like this as it shows a promise that cryptocurrencies are moving up in our world but sadly predictions that starts with "I think" and goes without any supporting facts until the end of the statement doesn't really make their statements as convincing to us people. At least he could just even stated that he has somehow laid out a plan on how his company could help with that mass adaption he is talking about that will happen in the next 3-5 years.
2362  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Indian Government panel finally submits crypto report on 12/11 on: December 16, 2018, 01:50:19 PM
I don't see any negative news about crypto currencies in India but RBI still have the restrictions for withdrawals and deposits on exchanges, for their statement they suggested to create new law for crypro currency regulation then why we need to consider this as ban they might implement taxation system for it right?
It's too late now the Indian Government Panel they were talking about already submitted their recommendation deeming cryptocurrency transactions in their country are illegal, what surprises me is at first I really thought this was an independent panel with no help from other departments or committees but when I read the article they were basing their decision based on what RBI have already decided to do which is really bad way of showing that they didn't even tried enough to alter anything from the original decision.
2363  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jump out of the ship when it is sinking. on: December 15, 2018, 06:54:32 PM
You are talking right now as if all investors/traders are at a loss or don't have a plan in action during this time which I think is a foolish thing to do. Your mere suggestion will only benefit the ones who really don't know what they are doing at the market at all BUT then again why will you even be called an investor in the first place if you want them quit entirely with Bitcoin? Instead of suggesting them to "jump ship" why not instead try to suggest a better idea? You know the ones that will let them stay in the market during these times? Just like shorting Bitcoin even if you are at a loss you can still short it and make money from the process.
2364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where we can look at the cryptocharts? on: December 13, 2018, 07:48:52 PM
Tradingview is a nice chart tool I have been using since day one and their data seems to be on point given that they offer various price points from exchanges. Also they have some kind of community there where users have their own followers as they are posting their own analysis, the negative thing about it is it is kind of toxic most of the time. You see if users gains followers they also gain haters in their posts and most of them comment bad things under their post especially when their analysis/prediction fails nevertheless these users who are being hated are still sharing their knowledge with regards to their analysis. Check Tradingview's BTC page to see for yourselves.
2365  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Options for going from bitcoin to ATM withdrawals on: December 13, 2018, 07:02:32 PM
Try looking for a local wallet provider if you have one in your country. Some wallet providers out there offer an all in one service from the payment of bills using your Bitcoin to even using it to purchase prepaid load. These wallet providers also have various ways of cashing out your crypto to fiat aside from bank deposits they have withdrawal methods where you can claim it to remittance centers as well as cardless atm withdrawals which they provide you a pin and a code. The catch is you will need a KYC requirement for these wallet providers, hope that is not the reason why you are avoiding bank deposits.
2366  Other / Meta / Re: The forum now has more than 2 500 000 users! Congratulations! on: December 13, 2018, 06:27:26 PM
My congratulations to the forum, which despite the General decline of the cryptocurrency market is growing and developing!
You should never think that the number of accounts here in the forum as some kind of bullish indicator in the market. You don't even know if half of the accounts here are active nor are here because they are interested in the market. Most of the accounts created here are mostly being used for internal use here in the forum that is why we are seeing a lot of spammers, bumping services, accounts farmers/sellers, and of course scammers.
2367  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: December 13, 2018, 05:23:40 PM
plinko and mines are not working on mobile phones. is that still being optimized for mobile phones?
I don't think that FortuneJack games is meant to be played in mobile phones yet because when you are trying to visit FJ with your phone you will be directed to a desktop version of the website. But surely their management won't have a problem on giving as a mobile version of their website I just don't think that all their games can be compatible nor appropriate being played in a mobile phone.
2368  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto debit card for FIAT payments - would you use one? on: December 13, 2018, 04:42:36 PM
1. You own some crypto funds on your account on an exchange (crypto/FIAT markets) that has partnered with a debit card provider. You'd have to identify yourself (pass KYC).
I think the KYC requirement is a given if you want your card to even be connected to mastercard, this payment service company won't even allow you hooking up unknown parties to use their services.

Of course my main concern is why would a not so popular exchange do this? Questions and suspicions will always arise on these kinds of unique features especially on a not so trusted crypto exchanges. Questions like are they really doing this for our convenience or they really just want our personal information badly and using this KYC requirement to obtain it?  This is really not a question of  anyone wanting it because I know a lot of people do but it should be a question about do we trust this exchange offering this feature in the first place?
2369  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-12]Indian Government Panel Proposes Deeming Virtual Currency Dealings I on: December 13, 2018, 03:53:59 PM
The Indian government panel appointed to recommend cryptocurrency measures has reportedly submitted its report to the country’s finance minister, suggesting a new legal framework for cryptocurrencies.
^Just when I thought this was good news. Last four days ago I have expected that the "legal framework" the Indian Government Panel is doing was favorable for cryptocurrencies not that they revealed what the framework contains but now it suggest the other way around. Now it doesn't surprised me at all as the framework was under the guidelines of their RBI. I just thought that they will be fully independent in the matter. This looks like a done deal folks, lawmakers and the RBI are partnering up to create a framework that won't be appealing to their crypto industry.
2370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 13, 2018, 01:21:02 PM
The Minnesota Timberwolves are back in some kind of slump again and it is not good seeing them giving up more than 110+ points every game, this just show that the defense of them somehow worsened after their match against the Hornets. The only good news I see is KAT playing consistently and finishing the game with another double-double other than that is Wiggins is back scoring 20+ ppg on  his last 4 games which is definitely a big improvement compared to the game he had with the Bulls where he made 0 points.
2371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to recognize correct trading signals? on: December 13, 2018, 11:51:39 AM
Well the basics for this is to either identify the bullish and bearish confirmations on their charts. Any by confirmations I mean the supporting candlesticks for that said reversal or pivot point. You need to keep an eye out for the next candle it could either be a gap up/down, or a long candlestick supported with a rising volume both of which can be considered for either bullish/bearish reversals. This is more accurate when you are looking at a long-term chart not ranging from 5-10 minute charts which is usually being used by day traders in the market, you should look at least its daily charts if you are really looking for a reversal.
2372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Books to learn Trading and Strategies on: December 13, 2018, 11:00:13 AM
Try not to focus on books focused on "Crypto Investing" at first as you must learn the general form of both technical analysis and fundamental analysis. Also try to read books first about technical analysis as this is what will help you most in your trading. Books like "Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets" by John Murphy has been known to be one of the best books for newbie traders or even a book called "Technical Analysis for Dummies" is easy to read based on my own experience.

Also I am afraid that Fundamental Analysis in stocks is way different compared to FA in cryptocurrencies as it doesn't apply to all cryptocurrencies as well. Chances as your FA on one cryptocurrency is different on how you will do your FA on another cryptocurrency.
2373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Conversation with the hacker who stole funds from us on: December 13, 2018, 10:16:04 AM

I got curious about their extension but to no avail it seems like the scammers have removed their Google Add-on/Extension on Google's Webstore. Their app might be intended to gather as much as information as they can while installed in your Chrome browser and Google had allowed to make it possible even if the extension ask your permission first. Sadly literally anyone can create an extension in upload it to Chrome's webstore and they don't have that much screening process in the extensions being uploaded to their webstore permitting them as much as knowing what you are inputting to your browser.
2374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That made my day, really on: December 12, 2018, 08:04:15 PM
They are really desperate that they rely on this kind of promotion in order to attract the attention of people. This are just desperate moves done by the fork in order to cover the bills they have incurred in the on the war with BCHSV. I just wish both of these forks fail on what they are doing and I hope they don't get the investors they are looking for. The market really hit a big toll when Bitcoin Cash forked and all cryptocurrencies are suffering because of their worthless war on hash power.
2375  Economy / Economics / Re: Remember: Bottoms are ALWAYS higher than your idealized entry point on: December 12, 2018, 07:09:31 PM
I do agree with what you have said I have read a lot of people here missing an opportunity when Bitcoin starts climbing up. They were never satisfied with the price drops and even if they reach the price they are looking for they are still hoping for something better (more lower price) and that is the point their cryptocurrency start rallying upwards. I just don't get why a lot of people are missing a thousands of dollars opportunity for waiting a few hundreds of dollars price drop, they just don't get the point that buying at this level can be considered as having a really good margin of safety when the prices starts to go up.
2376  Other / Meta / Re: Analysis – net posts created/destroyed in a month per rank on: December 12, 2018, 05:42:04 PM
I've seen some of the profile links of the top 25 post creators here in BCT and most of the Jr. Members and Newbie ranks that are in it have post histories which have most of their post on bounty threads regarding their bounty rule compliance which I'm pretty sure why they are leading the way in terms of post creation as they are here to earn money from bounties. Also there is a possibility that a lot of the people here have multiple newbie accounts part of a bounty campaign that is why their is a big gap compared to other members.
2377  Economy / Reputation / Re: VegasCasino.io Shill + Merit Abuser on: December 12, 2018, 04:24:19 PM
What it looks like to me is that vegascasino.io are paying newbie rank members here to do the shilling in BCT, they are all using the same referral link to the website ending "vg-1" this newbie members obviously are not aware they are breaking the rules and vegascasino is all behind it. I think the proof that they are all using the same referral link is a rather convincing one that someone is already behind paying this newbie members if not they themselves have bought/created this accounts to do the shilling.
2378  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 CyberDice.net - The Future is unwritten | Daily Wagering Contest | Faucet 🎲 on: December 12, 2018, 02:59:26 PM
@Theb thanks for feedback! We don't have sounds yet, but the good news is that we plan to add some futuristic sounds to the game in the near future Smiley
I will definitely let you know when it's live.
That is definitely good news, the sound will literally be a game changer for the website. The gambling site right now is ok but without the sound it just feels plain to me like there is really something missing from the good looking UI you have. Also this is just my opinion but please do not overdo it, if you mean by "futuristic sounds" like space beams/lazers and unnecessary background space-like noise it won't be a good idea as it will definitely annoy a lot of people including me.
2379  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-11] Bitcoin Nothing More Than a ‘Lottery Ticket’: Harvard Economist on: December 12, 2018, 01:02:32 PM
His opinion about Bitcoin are just like what other economists are saying to the cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is purely an speculative asset but I don't think you can clearly compare it to holding a lottery ticket. Clearly you have a lesser chance of multiplying your money when it comes to purchasing lottery tickets compared to buying cryptocurrencies, at least in the market you can control what you will lose or gain. He also have mentioned Bitcoin being an economic bubble:
Economists (including me) who have worked on this kind of problem for five decades have found that price bubbles surrounding intrinsically worthless assets must eventually burst.
This is still acceptable in terms of the state of what a bubble should look like. But once we breakout of this bear market his views of Bitcoin being a bubble would be invalid this will prove him that Bitcoin is not a bubble and never will be.
2380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Recovers 12% in 72 Hours While Traders Remain Cautious in on: December 10, 2018, 07:04:14 PM
I cannot say that it is a recovery at this point it might be due to BTC being oversold that is why it went up but Bitcoin since hitting 3,588$ went down to 3,500$ which just shows that it is a minor bounce from the 3,200$ level. I might be wrong and maybe BTC is just gaining momentum at this level but we are not out of the woods yet and this clearly not show any kind of breakout. RSI is still oversold and MACD is showing a weak bullish divergence that is why we are seeing a minor price rally right now.
