241  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 17, 2024, 07:01:55 AM
I really doubt if Bitcoin will be able to reach 52,000$ as it will be a big correction. Since the investors are buying BitcoinBTC for the long term through the ETF so they are not really interested to sell their bitcoins at cheap prices. So in this scenario when the demand is high and there are fewer bitcoins on exchanges, the chances of a big dump in the bitcoin market are very low. We should consider this when making any prediction for the March Bitcoin price at freebitco.
I know it is a big correction but if the market repeats itself, history shows its rhythm, we will see that correction. Basically the market before a big bull run, needs to have a massive clean up and what will be better than a big correction?

Bitcoin Spot ETFs create their products, sell their products and they bring massive capital to Bitcoin market but it does not mean they will buy forever, without cooling down time.

Quote
Most people are anticipating the price between 70,000$ to 80,000$ by the end of the match. This is 41% of the bets in this range and this can be seen on freebitco. The current price of Bitcoin is under 70K. There are still 15 more days for March to end but seeing the price under 70K for those who have placed the bet on over 70K, is not a nice figure for them.
Think!

If Bitcoin market moves like most of gamblers, investors, traders think, it will not give market makers biggest profit.

I don't say Bitcoin must hit $52,000 to continue its bull run but it's one of scenarios I thought of. Let's wait and check out the market.
242  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: March 17, 2024, 06:57:59 AM
They are here to compete,  MetaWin.com is not a small casino, they want to compete with the big players here as they know with great promotions and marketing, it will put their company on the top, maybe top 10 casinos here in the forum. It will take time to build a reputation but having an aggressive promotion always gives an impression that they are here to stay and compete.

And they have been since 2023, and as stated by OP, that time they weren't accepting bitcoin yet, and when they started accepting bitcoin that's when they decided to build a community here for their presence to be felt, thing is we didn't expect they'll be this aggressive in giving rewards.
It makes sense that they started to consider joining Bitcointalk after deploying Bitcoin blockchain as one of methods to use their casino.

Bitcointalk community is one of oldest ones in Bitcoin history and cryptocurrency casinos and it has many professional gamblers and technical experts. Metawin can build up their reputation here with their good services, products, smooth services and satisfying customer support for their customers.

Their recent promotion in Bitcointalk was out of this world and a rare one though and I hope there are more of them in the future.
As I read above, they are big one so that they will expand promotion here if they see potential benefit from spending budget for marketing. As one of their signature campaign participants, I am contributing for their marketing and brand existence here. So good luck guys if in future they will launch more contests for our community.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 16, 2024, 03:25:23 AM
If the 1 point gap can last until the end of the season, Man City will fail to win the title.  Grin
I know it is a small point gap, but it means a lot. Whatever the reason, Liverpool and Arsenal still have the bigger chance to win EPL title now. I'm very curious why you think Liverpool and Arsenal will experience a deadlock in the future? Do you have a strong reason?
When the title competition has three competitors, a gap like 1 point or 2 points can mean a lot because a team will have to beat two other teams to win the title. It is doubled challenge and it's always harder to cover your gaps with two other teams than only with one competitor.

Liverpool and Arsenal are leading with one point more than Manchester City and if we see goal difference, Arsenal have best goal difference. Three clubs will have different fixtures and it might give them different opportunities and challenge till the end day but with current advantage, Liverpool and Arsenal have better chance than Manchester City.

We will soon see something clearer after a match between Manchester City and Arsenal. If Manchester City can not beat Arsenal, they will waste a good opportunity to surpass Arsenal and also will have to see Liverpool running farther. The match between them will be key for their chances in this race.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you invest in BTC or MicroStrategy MSTR? on: March 16, 2024, 03:18:00 AM
If you want to control your money, your bitcoins, let's invest in Bitcoin. Then store your bitcoins in your own non custodial, open source wallets. Remember to make backups, test backups and store them safely for your wallet recoveries.

If you want to get like double benefits, you can invest in MSTR because their stocks can give you double benefits from their profitable investment in Bitcoin and profit from other products of MicroStrategy.

The warning is, with the second investment option, you will have to trust MicroStrategy and their business. You don't own your money and rely on them.
245  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: March 16, 2024, 03:10:05 AM
I notice too the tip on SHFL tokens. Actually I was very tempted to trade my token here for those who want to acquire SHFL tokens in exchange for USDT last night since I still have a lot of token to be claimed but I decided just to hold when I notice the vault feature.

I can’t remember what’s the trade bot I use on Stake before but I think they might work here if ever Shuffle made a partnership with them. I’m certain it’s not dinabot.

Edit

This one https://poorbot.io/
As I know, Stake did not partner with Poorbot.io team. The Stake team simply knew about existence and operation of Poortbot.io on Stake and just allow that to operate.

If the Shuffle team want to build a partnership with Poorbot.io team, check their announcement thread.

246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price history, ATHs and bottoms. on: March 15, 2024, 03:34:29 PM

Today, let's have a closer look at Bitcoin price drawdowns since FTX crash

Corrections after FTX crash are usually up to -15% and with catalyst from Bitcoin Spot ETF, if you see -15% correction in this bull run, don't hesitate to buy. Hesitate again and again, you will miss this bull run and worse, will join around the end of the parabolic curve.

You can compare it with previous cycles too as I posted days ago.
The All time Average Drawdown in bull markets is -15%.

Another view visually from ecoinometrics.

Only last four years, price corrections are about -11% or larger than that. It is not a first time ever Bitcoin has had such larger than -10% corrections.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price history, ATHs and bottoms. on: March 15, 2024, 02:40:07 AM
So actually, the ATH that Bitcoin has reached recently, in the next few years will actually be the bottom if we but hold Bitcoin.
For example, now the ATH is $75,000, it could be in the next 1 or 2 years, or even the next halving. This price is very cheap to buy today. so it's never too late to buy bitcoin.
Price can be cheap for you but can be expensive for others. Different people have different views on how cheap or expensive Bitcoin is and different knowledge, belief in future of Bitcoin. There is no same opinion on it.

Furthermore, with different financial statuses, different people will have different capital that can be spent for investment as well as different time frames to stay in this market before cashing out for their spendings.

Anyone who don't know about Bitcoin total supply and how it was coded, controlled supply, what will ever appear more in future, let's read.
248  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 15, 2024, 02:25:39 AM
I went slow method and it cleared in an hour or so because the timer or countdown for it was low which is when it should go ahead.  Its 3 hours now try verify you have everything correct.

BTC price is still blipping about the 68k level so Im thinking we are into new prices isnt this a rocket launch move from lack of volume to resist in this area.   Seems looking back to December 2020 we did take a few weeks before launching higher, I guess its not yet been long enough to call it.  Todays lows are weekly average, if thats the last touch of this support I'll take it as likely to continue otherwise it might stall if BTC price action waits much longer.  I do see us taking a bit more time to gain further, its not yet broken the pattern of prior gains but most of March so far has orbited around this one price.
Corrections are necessary and are vitamins for its bull run.

I am not surprised if Bitcoin has a big correction and fall down to about $52,000 to trigger a Long Squeeze before it rises up sharply to trigger a Short Squeeze and the bull run will continue to its discovery phase.

After that, we will see a parabolic phase for Bitcoin. Newbies will join more aggressively in Euphoria phase psychologically.
249  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: March 15, 2024, 02:18:29 AM
Liverpool destroyed Sparta Prague at Anfield with 6 goals from 5 players as follow.
Quote
Nunez 7', Clark 8', Salah 10', Gakpo 14' 55', Szoboszlai 48'

It's very good for them to see Nunez and Salah scored goals especially Salah who return in a match with Manchester City but was still not have his good performance. That Super Sunday is only a warm up for Salah and this match is a second warm-up match for him.

This is his good preparation for a match with Manchester United this weekend in FA Cup.

We will soon have draws for Champions League and Europa League quarter finals.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Minimalism in Bitcoin would slow your accumulation process on: March 14, 2024, 02:16:03 PM
The problem you're describing is all about greed. People who didn't buy as much bitcoin as they could back when price was in $20k-$30k range were greedy thinking price would fall down more. I remember the topics telling them (or rather fooling them) into believing price is going down as low as $15k so they waited and refused to buy.
They always react to the market like this. Hope it goes down, more and more to have cheaper price for their entry but when things goes exactly like they hoped, they turn to be fearful and worry that price will go down more than their expected entry.

They ignore good prices and feel regret when market recovers from bottom area. Then they hope to see a correction to buy in but such wanted correction might never come. Even it comes, it's likely they will be fearful again.

They usually join the market after Disbelief phase and even in late of Euphoria phase.

Psychology of market cycles

251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biden resurrects 30% crypto mining tax in new budget proposal on: March 14, 2024, 11:44:53 AM
Does anyone really think this is Biden's idea? Well, a man does not know who is alive and who is dead, in which country he is and with whom he is talking, and someone thinks that he personally has a problem with Bitcoin? Taxes have always existed and will continue to exist, and increasing taxes as in this case is just a cultural way of telling miners to pick up their equipment and find another home.
It is like lawsuits from SEC. against cryptocurrency companies like exchanges and it is considered as their over wrongly used power to force companies move out of the USA. In a Congressional hearing months ago, SEC. Chair Gensler was asked about it and he failed to response convincingly.

Quote
On one occasion, I wrote that China and the US are not so different when it comes to human rights and freedoms, with the difference that China passed a law and banned Bitcoin trading and mining, while the US will do it in a much more "democratic way" by increasing taxes.
I agree with you but at least in the USA. there will be fighting between two parties and it's better for their citizens. It's better than in China when one party controls all aspects in that nation. No democracy in China and it is not only about Bitcoin mining industry.

Quote
As for whether Trump would be better than Biden, perhaps some have forgotten what Trump had planned for cryptocurrencies at the very end of his term, and the Biden administration rejected all of that. Whether it will be Biden or Trump is completely irrelevant for Bitcoin, the policy basically remains the same, which is the protection of the national currency and national interests.
The end game will be defending their national currency but their politicians have to bargain with their citizens when they need votes. I see it is still good for human rights and benefit their citizens can fight for.

If the Republic party takes over the White House with Trump and more improvements in the Congress, they might do something more positive for cryptocurrency industry, for Bitcoin community. If their actions in future are not enough, they will lose their positions next 2 or 4 years and the cycle will repeat.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 14, 2024, 11:33:39 AM
Atletico Madrid should never be underestimated when it comes to big tournaments like the Champions League and Europa League.
The equalizing goal by Griezmann was a little bit lucky, the Inter Milan defender should have cleared the ball far away, but he missed and Griezmann was at the right place in the right time. It seems to me that the Inter players weren't prepared for the penalties, while the Atletico players had trained penalties before the match.
They should not be underestimated but Inter Milan actually played good in both two matches. They lost after the penalties because their players wasted many opportunities in both matches. Even in the match in Madrid, after Atletico Madrid equalized the result to 1 - 1, Inter Milan got two good opportunities but Marcus Thuram and Nicolo Barella could not score a second goal for them. If Inter Milan could score one goal from these two opportunities, when the match has only 10 minutes left, Atletico Madrid would give up as they will need to score two goals to equalize the aggregated result.

After all wasted chances, Inter Milan lost through penalties and they have to regret about it as they actually can do it better.

Atletico Madrid again shown their strong mentality and good discipline in tactics that are very helpful for them at Champions League level.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe someone knows who the address belongs to? on: March 14, 2024, 11:19:55 AM
Thank guys.
And is there a representative of the kucoin support team on this forum?
You can try to contact TalkStar who is still active on Bitcointalk recent days.

The user worked with Kucoin exchange in the past and surely had contact points to Kucoin but still has it in 2024 or not, you have to ask TalkStar. 4 years is a long time in cryptocurrency market and exchange staffs come and go.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETF Tracker on: March 13, 2024, 04:08:17 PM
Wow billion dollar day.

Mostly from blackrock. Somehow a half billion dollars a day wasn't enough for the ETF market haha. Had to go and hit a billion dollar day.

Grayscale selling plumetted back down to 1k also, which obviously helped out.
It is a first day ever!

There is a nice chart for Bitcoin Spot ETF tracker too, from Jim Bianco. In cumulative figure, net inflow of all Bitcoin Spot ETFs just passes $11+B.

Most of trading days, we see green candles for net inflows. The second chart is nearly similar to the first chart but it will make people more FOMOing with buying demands from Bitcoin Spot ETFs.

256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETF Tracker on: March 13, 2024, 02:19:32 AM
what the...that's weird. They want to move to an entirely different ETF?? Why don't they just lower the fee on their existing ETF?
My guess is they have current terms with their customers who already signed contracts with them.

They apply the new Grayscale Mini Bitcoin Trust ETF for new customers or current customers who are ready to close current positions and switch to Mini one. Who will want to do this if they have to be charged tax?

In the quote, they have idea and plans (still in discussion) for current investors too but nothing is finalized yet.
You can read the Form S-1 filing here. Most notably, this new ETF would be designed to have a materially lower fee than GBTC and through the innovative mechanics of a GBTC “spin-off” — which means a certain amount of the Bitcoin backing GBTC shares (as of a to-be-determined record date in the future) would be utilized to ‘seed’ the new Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust, subject to appropriate regulatory approvals. If approved:
  • We believe this would be net-positive for existing GBTC investors, who would benefit from a lower blended fee with the same exposure to Bitcoin, spanning ownership of shares of both GBTC and BTC.
  • This would be an exciting innovation for the ETF wrapper, because while ‘spin-offs’ are commonplace, the market has never experienced a spin-off of a commodity-based ETF.
Importantly, both the launch of Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust and the GBTC spinoff are subject to regulatory review. The Grayscale team will share additional information as soon as possible. No action is required of current or future GBTC shareholders.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETF Tracker on: March 13, 2024, 02:07:10 AM
appears grayscale want to dismantle/deplete GBTC and open a new smaller etf offering as a new etf entity

https://www.grayscale.com/blog/general-updates/what-is-grayscale-bitcoin-mini-trust
They saw their unstoppable bleeding and they saw a spike on inflow of Vanguard Spot ETF after it decided to waive service fee.

Grayscale seems to see no other way to stop bleeding on their current Spot ETF and they have to give customers another choice, less expensive in fee.

Another view on impacts of Bitcoin Spot ETFs on Bitcoin Network Flows. The sharp increase of Bitcoin Network Flow is $2B by Bitcoin Spot ETF impacts.

It is taken from Bitcoin on-chain data so it includes not only Bitcoin Spot ETFs but surely we see the impacts here.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: March 12, 2024, 06:11:00 AM
Ronaldo can't win the Saudi League trophy alone, he needs the team work. He can be the top scorer but he won't win the trophy if they have weak team work. Al Nassr also has low quality on the defense players. It is very obvious because they already got too many conceded goals. Although Mitrovic isn't as skillful as Ronaldo but he can optimize his ability because the team work. The striker needs the supports from all lines to perform optimally.
They worked together but not good enough so they fail in Saudi Professional League and can not win it in this season. Mitrovic is a discovery in Al Hilal and Saudi Professional League this season. By his surprising good season, he contributes a lot to his club domination in the league.

Quote
The end of the league is not so long, there are still few remaining matches only. However, it is very unlikely for Al Nassr to overtake Al Hilal because the point gap is too large. Al Nassr only can expect to win the title of AFC but sadly they must face Al Hilal there as well. It won't be easy for Al Nassr, they even are behind 1 goal from Al Ain in AFC. It is rather shameful for Al Nassr.  Grin

https://www.goal.com/en-ae/lists/saudi-pro-league-top-scorers-2023-24/bltbf87fb6b46ca717c#cs585c6939ed0d36f2
AFC?

Al Nassr were kicked out by Al Ain hours ago. Again that match shows their defensive weakness as they scored four goals but got three conceded goals. Cristiano Ronaldo missed a very good chance when he was about 3 meters from the net. If their defense system is stronger, they would beat Al Ain already.

What happened in penalty shoot-outs are simply nightmare for Al Nassr. They have four shots and succeed only one by Ronaldo, three other players failed, Brozovic, Telles and Otávio. Brozovic is very experienced with his national team Croatia in penalty shoot-outs so this failed shot is so surprising.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spot ETF Tracker on: March 12, 2024, 06:02:02 AM
however with bitcoin adding demand(etf) and reward halving next month. the cost of mining and the demand for BTC is on a 2024-2025 rise
in short btc up gold down

and so people are selling gold etf and buying btc etf
Yes, it is the point in long term, not only around the halving.

People smell chance to gain profit in Bitcoin and if they invest in Gold ETF, they will switch to Bitcoin ETF. It's natural!

The institutionalization of Bitcoin

Some interesting points from it.
  • About 11% of future supply is the % owned by Institutions and Spot ETFs are quickly growing.
  • Both Bitcoin and gold make new all time highs but Bitcoin Spot ETFs got massive positive net flows while oppositely Gold ETFs are bleeding with negative net flows. It signals changes in thinking and practice of people, investors on how they store their asset and do investment.

Grayscale continues to be bleeding but yesterday is a green day for Bitcoin.

The fee war continues and because lack of interest from investors, ETFs like Vanguard started to waive their service fee until 31st, 2025.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Because we believe in bitcoin so much, starting tomorrow, you can invest in VanEck Bitcoin Trust (HODL) with no fees until March 31st, 2025.*

*During the period commencing on March 12, 2024, and ending on March 31, 2025, the Sponsor will waive the entire Sponsor Fee for the first $1.5 billion of the Trust’s assets. If the Trust’s assets exceed $1.5 billion prior to March 31, 2025, the Sponsor Fee charged on assets over $1.5 billion will be 0.20%. All investors will incur the same Sponsor Fee, which is the weighted average of those fee rates. After March 31, 2025, the Sponsor Fee will be 0.20%.
