2401  Economy / Digital goods / Re: One of the first 500 BitcoinTalk account's created for sale on: January 01, 2016, 04:06:41 AM
I'm sorry but what's the point of selling an account with 0 posts? I get that it's one of the first 500 BitcoinTalk accounts but how's that a plus? Am I missing something?
2402  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Looking to sell a few domains. on: January 01, 2016, 04:04:59 AM
Well I was actually thinking about just normal domain price really but I understand if that's not what you are looking for, sorry if I'm being rude.
2403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2016, 04:01:37 AM
I've never dreamed about Bitcoin yet, and I've dreamed about a lot of mundane stuff, like I'm a graphic designer and at stressful times I usually dream I'm actually designing and moving layers and colors and type hehe. Your question takes me by surprise because lately I've been very focused on Bitcoin but I've never had a dream about it that I can remember. Well maybe soon now, hehe.

Opensilver sounds interesting since it can be easily branded and used for many types of sites, what's your asking price?
2406  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 0.001 BTC new year Giveaway on: January 01, 2016, 03:45:07 AM
Haha, I'm pretty sure that this is not how it works man, but nice try anyway. Maybe you should offered more money, I'm not saying that something like that would work but at least would get people debating and thinking about it.
2407  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet.eu -- Bitcoin never reached my wallet on: January 01, 2016, 03:42:08 AM
I can vouch for them since I've used the site many times without any problems. Just ask them if there's anything they can do, if there was an human mistake from your part well, that's how Bitcoin works (sadly, to me in many terms with Bitcoin it's too easy to make mistakes).

Happy new year to all DGB supporters and team, I'm still holding and hoping Digibyte will be on top again soon.
2409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: January 01, 2016, 03:35:45 AM
I was expecting Curry to play so I was a little nervous but luckily the Warriors came through, Green & Thompson were beasts. I think Houston could've used Terry in some parts of the game, mostly on the 4th quarter but oh well, lucky me hehe. The odds were great even without Curry, the Warriors don't have the current record for nothing.
2410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 31, 2015, 10:23:03 PM
My picks for new year's eve:
Golden State @ Houston - Golden State @ 2.08 GREAT ODDS!
LA Clippers @ New Orleans - LA Clippers @ 2.16
Portland @ Utah - Utah @ 1.57

I've decided to go with the Warriors today on DirectBet, nice odds, now it's 2.12 I think, you can't beat those odds even if the Warriors are on the "down" side. The game should be close, Houston can be streaky and their defense is shaky so the Warriors can definitely win this one tonight.
2411  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-12-31] Bitcoin Finishes the Year with a Plus on: December 31, 2015, 08:05:06 PM
This is encouraging and it was one of the deciding factors for me to invest in BTC, even a modest amount. I've bought at $230 just some months ago, so price volatility it's still a big problem, in this case for me it turned out perfect since I've bought at the perfect time of the year but I can understand others.

Hopefully we can see an even larger price increase for next year and we can close around $600.
2412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: December 31, 2015, 07:56:39 PM
What's stopping people from using bitcoin are all the scam artists who are attracted to the technology.  People are afraid to associate themselves with a product that has a bad reputation and they are afraid of having their money stolen by thieves that they can't catch...That's what's stopping people from using bitcoin....scams!
Yeah. The reputation of Bitcoin does take a hit from how it's known to be used in dark web purchases and ponzis. The Mt. Gox incident also ruptured the reputation ob bitcoins. I guess people think that it's unsound to have the same currency as criminals, or they don't understand how it works and don't have enough faith to check it out.

It just too complicated and full of dangers for common people to get into it. And what will they actually accomplish? They can't use it anywhere, it's a hassle to even get a hold of, mostly if you are not in the States. What's the point? Bitcoin is an amazing innovative technology, no doubt about it, but it may take decades to evolve, just like the Internet was in the 90s.

Kinda troublesome or a turn off for some to buy bitcoin, as you need to get your id verified.
Not many place or even online accept bitcoin payment.
There are better payment methods or we are comfortable to use it.
(credit cards. Paypal/Debit cards etc)

The price of bitcoin can be a heart attack for some, it goes from 1k + to 200+ back then, and
recently bounced to 400+ usd average a btc.

Lastly, in my country if they report anything about bitcoin in news... it's something bad -_-''
(Like Mt gox, or people use bitcoin for drugs, weapons etc due to anonymity)

The power of media can be very powerful, with bad news about BTC, they will think twice
to use it or even use REAL money to buy it.

Well said, plus don't forget that for common people handling decimals, authorization keys, wallets, addresses as long as line of code and many other "easy to use" features are completely out of their league. We may be comfortable with them because we are a bunch of nerds but Bitcoin has a long way before it's being considered as a hassle free method compared to Paypal, CCs, etc.
2414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 31, 2015, 07:19:29 PM
Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets I am going for very simple but high chances bet of money line for this match. Golden State Warriors @2.080 even Houston Rockets is favorite this time.I am following my team not odds anyways.

100% agreed with you GSW will beat Houston Rockets.

It really depends if Curry is allowed to play. They can win without him but yesterday was such a poor performance that without Curry I'm inclined to think that Houston can beat the Warriors. However taking in consideration that this would be consecutive loss for them, it seems rather implausible. Even more if they have Curry back.
2415  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBTCCasino.com - Provably Fair - HTML5 Mobile games on: December 31, 2015, 07:00:57 PM
It's working fine for me today. Yes I've used shapeshift a lot and it's a great service, however as some sites accept different altcoins I thought it was a nice addition. I think a better feature would be accepting no accounts deposits/withdraws on the fly for quick casual betting, that would benefit both sides like I said in a previous post.
2416  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBTCCasino.com - Provably Fair - HTML5 Mobile games on: December 30, 2015, 08:01:01 PM
Site is down for me, hopefully it's back up soon. I forgot to mention in my review that the option to bet with different altcoins would be great, I didn't seem to find it. I understand if they want to focus on BTC though.

It's not easy to make altcoin as bet option since many altcoin have unknown trade volume which make fluctuation and the casino dev need to learn more about that altcoin and will be problem when users want to withdraw. Imagine you deposited 10k goldcoin worth $40 and withdraw worth $120??
And it will be another task to do behind how busy the dev.

I understand but it's not something completely unique, many other casinos have those options. I won't be using it a lot but it is a nice feature.
2417  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which site you don't want to gamble in 2016? on: December 30, 2015, 07:04:20 PM
What's the point of this poll, maybe change the title or use a different approach, most of these sites are legit in my opinion so I don't really understand the purpose. I'm not being a troll or anything, I'm asking honestly.

any thoughts about the game Orlando Magic v Brooklyn Nets?
The bookies gave -8 points spread to Orlando?
Do you think they can beat the line?

Orlando is pretty unpredictable really so I would stay away from them. Also the Nets are "rolling" lately, if that word applies for them hehe. So not so sure about that bet, but if you are feeling it go for it!
