2421  Other / Off-topic / Re: What motivates you to work hard every day? on: June 26, 2021, 07:20:57 PM
The only thing that motivates me to work hard every day is to provide for my family. Other than that I don’t have a high motivation to work to be honest, it’s tough working a mediocre job for mediocre pay.
2422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Prediction for 2024 on: June 26, 2021, 07:16:41 PM
Just a calculated Prediction: Crypto Market will be worth $8 Trillion in Sept, 2024.

Bitcoin Price: $240,000
Ethereum Price: $14,136
Cardano Price: $10.16
BNB Price: $2,176

What do you think about my prediction?

Not sure about the alts prices as I don’t care for them or deal with them too much but obviously they do tend to follow the trajectory of bitcoin. Your bitcoin price looks reasonable, it could be even higher. It all depends on what the high is in the current bull run.
2423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: June 25, 2021, 02:35:27 PM
I think it’s topped, people had their fun. Some people did really well out of it but most will get stuck holding useless, under water bags. It’s a joke coin, real investors don’t take it too seriously.
2424  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why depression comes on: June 25, 2021, 02:04:44 PM
Everybody feels down or unsatisfied at times. I’m not sure what constitutes depression but the best thing you can do is surround yourself with good people, family & keep yourself occupied. There are anti depression tablets but i would advise to keep away from them.
2425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero vs Zcash- who wins? on: June 24, 2021, 07:16:48 PM
XMR wins for me, it really is a great coin. The only thing is, I worry about its future due to government control & regulation etc. I worry they might really crack down on it & make it hard for people to use. If exchanges start delisting it we have a problem.
2426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Whale hoards bitcoin, will the market run out of BTC to buy? on: June 24, 2021, 07:12:51 PM
The fewer coins available to buy on exchanges, the higher the price. I don’t think there's going to be a total lack of available coins until the dollar totally collapses any way.
2427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New crypto that rose 168,000% while BTC and other coins where bleeding. on: June 24, 2021, 01:48:40 PM
I think I’ll pass, seems a definite scam as others have highlighted. It’s always good to do full diligence when thinking of buying non-mainstream coins/tokens. The only people these coins ever work out for are the developers.
2428  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle stress? on: June 24, 2021, 01:45:17 PM
Listen to music, play video games, exercise. Basically the best way to deal with stress is to spend time doing things you enjoy. Hang out with friends, have a drink, anything that helps you relax.
2429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I feel uncomfortable if I don’t buy on: June 24, 2021, 09:13:35 AM
I started putting 1k into Bitcoin every time it drops by 5k since 60k. And I ran out of funds a little while ago.

The fact that I can’t buy this dip just makes me extremely uncomfortable.

It makes me feel shifty and nervous of the fluctuations. Whereas before I looked forward to it falling so I can just buy.

I guess this is the part where I wait.

You’ve done well buying dips, just sit & wait. You’re doing it right by buying when the price goes down. Too many people sell when it goes down. The price should increase dramatically from here to the end of 2021.
2430  Other / Off-topic / Re: World falling apart? on: June 24, 2021, 09:11:03 AM
The world is falling apart due to governments treating people like prisoners due to the corona virus. It’s not even that bad, it isn’t like the bubonic plague is it, the death rate is tiny when compared to infection numbers.  Governments are destroying so many lives with the restrictions, economies are ruined, it’s ridiculous.
2431  Other / Off-topic / Re: Breaking News: John McAfee found DEAD in Spanish Prison on: June 24, 2021, 09:08:26 AM
I’m torn between thinking maybe it was suicide as he was a bit of a lunatic, the years & years of drug abuse can send you insane. I also think he could have been murdered. I dunno, maybe he faked his own death & bribed the authorities to escape imprisonment.
2432  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel happy on getting merits ? on: June 22, 2021, 08:44:57 PM
It’s tough to get merits these days. It seems most merit is handed out in meta for really high quality posts or the wall observer which is like a gang of friends, full of camaraderie. I don’t post very often in either of those areas so I don’t get much merit. It’s especially tough for noobs to get merit as they already start at a disadvantage. I think many senior members look down at noobs.
2433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Not Sell! Don't Let The Whales Get Your Precious BTC! on: June 22, 2021, 08:36:00 PM
I’m selling nothing yet, I’ve been hodling for over 6 years. No way am I panic selling this dump, I’ve been through this scenario so many times. China FUD is getting boring, we will see $100,000 per coin this year, it is coming.
2434  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you Smoke? on: June 22, 2021, 08:15:15 PM
What do you think are the long term consequences of smoking Cigg or Weed.

Other than cancer.

I don’t smoke no, I mean I have on nights out when I’m drunk & stuff but I don’t smoke properly. It ruins your teeth, oral health, it stinks & you mentioned yourself the cancer risks. It’s expensive too, just give up.
2435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Volatility More of an Advantage than Disadvantage? on: June 21, 2021, 07:03:23 PM
Simple answer is don’t day trade. Nobody ever lost any money if they can hold their bitcoin medium to long term (4 years or more). Stop obsessing with the current bitcoin price & getting stressed about short term price movements. Look at bitcoin as a way to make life changing money, you need patience if you are a noob now.
2436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: June 21, 2021, 06:44:52 PM
BNB could hit $1,000 by the end of the year but it needs bitcoin to resume its bull market & probably hit $150,000 at least, which is quite possible when following S2F etc.
2437  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tesla is not Going succeed oil is king on: June 21, 2021, 06:23:41 PM
I have absolutely zero interest in buying an electric car. I’ll avoid it for as long as possible until it perhaps becomes compulsory. TESLA doesn’t even make a profit so in some ways it already failed.
2438  Other / Off-topic / Re: 79 today and still going strong on: June 20, 2021, 06:17:40 PM
Happy Birthday Jet Cash, that’s a mightily impressive age to be fit & healthy at. You seem like a youngster on the forum too, you’ve certainly kept young by keeping up with tech, good for you. Here’s to you, enjoy a stuff drink tonight.

Oh my, Rick Astley is back. Coins are moving back to the HODLer who never deserts his BTC.

@woonomic
The previous chart was a 30 day sum of coin movements.

Here's the 7 day view showing greater granularity.

We can see how the mass of coins dumped out to speculative hands are being re-accumulated by strong hands in a pattern similar to the COVID recovery (8 weeks to recover).

@woonomic

So who is selling?

Whales aren't selling.
Sharks aren't selling.
Dolphins aren't selling.

Big holders are holding.

Octopussies and fishies are stacking this dip.

@woonomic
Crabs are stacking as hard as their little shells will let them.

@woonomic
Shrimps are taking their lead and stacking like there's no tomorrow, especially in the latest dip.

@woonomic
User growth as strong as ever on the network.

@woonomic
So yeah, it's definitely a bear market folks.

🙄←sarcasm

We should all panic sell because traders tell us there's two moving averages that just crossed and they carry the name "death" in it. Sounds so scary. 😱
