1781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin core exploit alert on: March 31, 2022, 07:24:35 PM
The thread title panicked me man, damn it. Yeah, as others have said, it’s just your anti virus being overly sensitive. You scared me though, OP. I need a drink now Cheesy
1782  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best present for a crypto trader's Birthday on: March 31, 2022, 06:56:38 PM
Just a paper wallet with some bitcoin loaded on the address. That’s what I’d want from a fellow crypto literate friend.
1783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A new bitcoin documentary on: March 31, 2022, 06:18:09 PM
I watched a bit of it today but it bored me so I didn’t watch it to the end. From what I watched, I think he definitely faked his death. I mean, the Indian death certificate even spelt his name wrong. Such a shame that he felt the need to exit scam like that. I feel for all the people who lost significant funds, I would have had a heart attack if I wasn’t able to withdraw.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Smith inu got me good on: March 31, 2022, 06:15:04 PM
I can’t believe there are still people out there who fall for these scam coins. It doesn’t matter how much they go up because you are never safe. You can get rugged at any moment, the devs can literally wile your investment out in seconds. I strongly advise against ever buying shit like this.
1785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mexican cartels launder 25.000M $ per year – press highlights association to BTC on: March 29, 2022, 02:31:45 PM
Crime is mostly facilitated by fiat currencies & always has been. Media just can’t wait for the opportunity to stick a knife into bitcoin & twist it sometimes. I wouldn’t even give this type of article any interest at all. It’s mostly click bait for boomers & FUD.
1786  Other / Off-topic / Re: New year resolutions on: March 29, 2022, 02:30:55 PM
My New Year ambition is to get fitter. I did a lot of walking since the pandemic started & restrictions were imposed. My ambition is to take up running instead of walking, I’d like to get a lot fitter.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Russia brewing? on: March 28, 2022, 08:26:15 PM
Russia will do everything it can to prosper & not lose wealth. Putin doesn’t give a damn & he will do anything. If bitcoin helps them then he will have no hesitation to allow its use in trade deals or whatever. Russia is ruthless, I do not predict their economy to be in trouble for long.
1788  Other / Off-topic / Re: Abramovich love for Chelsea. on: March 28, 2022, 07:48:26 PM
Chelsea won’t get another owner like Abramovich because there simply aren’t many about. Football clubs are a sink hole, very few make lots of profit. The only reason Chelsea have been successful is because Abramovich has been pumping his own money into the club. Chelsea owe him 1.3 billion £, they are not a profitable club. Chelsea are going to have a tough time I think. They were not a successful club before he was the owner, they will probably return to how they used to be.
1789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: March 27, 2022, 09:06:57 PM
Everybody is in a different situation. Anybody who bought pre 2017 should probably have taken some pressure off their lives by buying a house or something. Never sell all your bitcoin, hell don’t sell over 50% but it’s a good idea to sell some to make significant positive changes to make your life better.
1790  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which sport interests you!!! on: March 27, 2022, 08:36:31 PM
I respect & salute your love & knowledge of the sport handball. It’s not for me though, I love soccer & basketball, they are my sports of choice to play & watch. I have a casual love for athletics too but I only really watch the big meets now like Olympics & World Championships.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: March 25, 2022, 08:33:01 PM
I think it’s quite clear that without the big, well known, centralised exchanges then crypto wouldn’t be as successful & mainstream as it currently is. Governments would probably have cracked down & shut down exchanges that didn’t comply with their annoying KYC & AML rules.
1792  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any Tennis lovers? on: March 25, 2022, 08:29:54 PM
I love tennis but sadly I’ve never been very good at playing physically myself. I love watching the major tournaments though, we have been very lucky to see some of the greats in recent times though. The titanic battles between the likes of Federer, Nadal & Djokovic have been a privilege to watch over the years.
1793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: March 22, 2022, 08:53:13 PM
My one & only reason for dabbling with alts is to get more bitcoin. I can’t be any clearer or honest than that. There is very low utility & very small future success for most alts but if I can manipulate them to help me gain more bitcoin then easy work.
1794  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who actually moves the Bitcoin/Crypto market? on: March 22, 2022, 08:44:07 PM
No individual moves the bitcoin market. When volume is low a big player or a group of high net holders can maybe affect the price but nobody can do it all the time. It’s too risky & when volume is high they could easily get liquidated. It’s much more likely that individual entities will try & manipulate low liquidity shitcoins rather than the King bitcoin.
1795  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ever been to Thailand? on: March 21, 2022, 08:25:08 PM
I haven’t managed to visit Thailand yet but it’s definitely on my list of places I plan to visit. The film ‘The Hangover 2’ based in Bangkok makes me really want to go, the weather is great & it looks a really fun place. Of course there are lots of other beautiful places in Thailand like Koh Samui so that’s a great holiday destination too.
1796  Other / Off-topic / Re: Could Trump be the right choice for the ownership of Chelsea. on: March 21, 2022, 07:53:00 PM
Football clubs are usually a black hole. They cost so much to run so I’d say Trump wouldn’t want to be anywhere near Chelsea FC, especially as the club is owned by Russian crook Abramovich. Chelsea are going to end up with a consortium who are nowhere near as rich as the Russian. Their fun is over, I predict a far less successful period for Chelsea incoming.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana have a future? on: March 21, 2022, 07:01:02 PM
Solana definitely has a future, I see it breaking $1,000 during the next big bitcoin bull market. You’re probably going to have to wait until 2025 or something but Solana will fly because it has such a high ceiling. It has such big potential for huge price increases.
1798  Other / Off-topic / Re: Don't fall for fake E-mails on: March 21, 2022, 06:48:45 PM
It’s quite easy to avoid getting scammed or phished to be honest. It doesn’t take much intelligence to avoid those kind of pretty basic attacks. I guess the only thing that can slip you up is complacency, if you’re tired or something because most people with half a brain won’t fall for it. If you’re unsure always check the author email.
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quit expecting a ETH killer on: March 17, 2022, 08:37:01 PM
SOLANA is the successor to ETH, you will see over the next couple of years. ETH failed badly to get anywhere even close to bitcoin. SOLANA will flippen ETH in 2025. There is still a place for ETH but not as number 2 to bitcoin for long.
1800  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it time to buy Bitcoin or not? (15th March) on: March 17, 2022, 08:31:32 PM
It’s always time to buy bitcoin. If you don’t care about the $ exchange rate then it’s always time to buy. The $ & all fiat currencies are crumbling in front of our eyes. Inflation & state money printing is tearing peoples lives apart. The cost of living is soaring, bitcoin is a lifebelt, take it, you won’t regret it.
