1441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many chickens own BTC. Don't be a chicken, HODL! BE A LION. on: November 18, 2022, 10:56:16 AM
It’s the same every bear market when max fear is spreading. I guess it’s human psychology, fight or flight response. Many choose to fly away & dump their coins.

You can’t do anything about these kind of weak people. In bearish times coins transfer from weak to strong hands.
1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF BEGGED INVESTORS on: November 17, 2022, 08:43:42 PM
The stench of absolute desperation. He is going to get what he deserves, hopefully a long jail sentence for ruining so many peoples lives. What him & his accomplices did is unforgivable, so many people trusted him & he betrayed them.

I know it’s dumb to store your wealth on exchanges for too long but that’s no excuse. He committee one of the biggest acts of fraud documented in modern financial history.

Throw him in jail & throw away the keys, his ugly gf & the others too.
1443  Other / Off-topic / Re: MAN UNITED against CR7? on: November 17, 2022, 08:23:52 PM
I think it’s Ten Hag trying to stamp his authority & be the big man at Man Utd. Let’s be honest, Ronaldo is bigger than him in the game & has achieved so much more. Ten Hag is trying to assert power & show he is top dog.

I hope Ronaldo leaves in January & goes on to have a great season. He deserves much more respect, he still has a lot to offer.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Bear take control long-term? on: November 15, 2022, 10:00:47 PM
How will the crypto market perform post-market turmoil? Will the bear take control long-term?

Nobody takes control long term. Bitcoin & crypto moves in cycles, we currently, since the inception of bitcoin, move in four year cycles which are around the halving. Sentiment can change a lot & very quickly during the four year cycle but overall it swings from bull to bear market & even has a sustained period of sideways action, low volatility.

The best way to win in this game is just to buy & hold for many years. Nobody ever loses money this way in bitcoin. It takes a lot of patience & isn’t much fun but dollar cost averaging over years is fool proof. You will make much more profit this way than in any traditional bank savings or investment vehicle.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 15, 2022, 08:30:58 PM
Whilst centralized platforms exist, there will always be fraud & theft. We all know the saying, not your keys, not your coins. It’s still so true! You need to take the risk away by withdrawing your coins from these scam factories.

As for a solution, there isn’t a guaranteed one other than don’t trust third parties & middlemen. You must take self custody. Proof of reserves only goes so far to mitigate scams.

Self custody, I will preach it every day until people listen.

The biggest sport in the world is about the start the biggest competition in the world.

1447  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you feel that time is passing faster? on: November 15, 2022, 07:05:41 PM
Time seems to go quite slow or at least at a moderate pace from childhood to early adulthood. I feel like since I hit 30, it just seems to go by way too fast.

The weeks pass by like the speed of light. It’s Monday & then before you know it, it’s Thursday & you’re looking forward to the weekend which goes even faster.

Try to cherish every day because tomorrow is never promised.
1448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shell, enters Bitcoin mining and sponsors Bitcoin conferences on: November 15, 2022, 05:26:59 PM
We should be more interested in talking about good new like this, rather than centralized ponzi schemes going bust, run by scammers. Bitcoin (not crypto) is going mainstream & there’s nothing anybody can do to stop it.
Get on the right side of the new world order & buy as much bitcoin as you can. We are the new wealthy elite.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF said: WHAT HAPPENED? on: November 15, 2022, 04:46:08 PM
Him & his degenerative team created a monster that got too big. They couldn’t stay solvent, so they started gambling with user funds to try & do so. They could not afford to do what they were doing, sponsoring huge events, donations to politicians. It’s ridiculous tbh & I hope they all go to jail.

He ruined peoples lives, he should get 20 years for financial fraud.
1450  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can you reduce addiction? on: November 15, 2022, 04:28:16 PM
Many, many people conquer addiction every day. It’s tough but everything good is tough to achieve.

You can do it, put everything you have into conquering your demons. Do it for yourself but also your family & friends. Everybody wants to see the best version of you. You can seek professional help to start your journey but a lot of success in recovery is a positive mindset & motivation to succeed.
1451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Borrowing against your coins a bad or good practice? on: November 11, 2022, 10:54:41 PM
A very bad idea. Are you not aware of what has only just happened in crypto space with FTX? Seriously, not your keys, not your cheese. Do not leave your assets in the control of any 3rd party for even a moderate amount of time. It is not worth the risk, we are in a deep bear market now. Many of these companies are not solvent, do not let them hold your coins.

Borrowing against your coins is a terrible idea.
1452  Other / Off-topic / Re: The best thing to do in the morning before using your mobile phone on: November 11, 2022, 09:53:49 PM
I’m not religious so praying at any time of day isn’t something I do. If you want me to be honest, the first thing I do in the morning is go for a pee. I get some breakfast & have a shower. I’m always kinda cranky in the morning, I get tired & don’t function too good. Some people love the morning but I’ve always been a moody ass. I am much better at staying up very late.
1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: November 11, 2022, 09:33:46 PM
Literally articles are flooding saying the bottom isn't here etc etc.

The FTX thing sucked, but Bitcoin can only go so low with the amount of support it has and how integrated it has become with the banking system.

Stop the FUD.

You must be new in this game. Bitcoin absolutely can go lower. Historically we are not at the same level that bitcoin can sink to during a bear market. Undoubtedly there will be be buyers lower but there are many weak hands who could still capitulate. Another insolvent exchange or regulations by the US could send us lower. The worldwide recession becoming an economic depression could flood into bitcoin too. In short we can go lower but it’s only temporary because new highs will come in a few years. Buy the dip if you can.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capital during sudden crashes on: November 11, 2022, 09:19:14 PM
Have observed in past that sudden crashes tend to be caused by FUD/over-reaction rather than anything substantial and the market eventually recovers.

In such times, capital can be handy as such opportunities are like finding gold on street.

Of course, to be honest I find it really quite simple to play the bitcoin market. I’ve been involved a long time, tgis is my third bear market. The first bull market I sold nothing & suffice to say, really regretted it during the long bear of 2014-15. I didn’t make the same mistake again.

It’s really quite simple, buy at times like we are currently witnessing & hold until the bull market. You have to be patient sure but it’s fool proof. This doesn’t extend to alts as lots of them are very unreliable & centralised which leads to untrustworthy devs, ceo’s or whatever rugging people.
1455  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you like to watch on YouTube? on: November 11, 2022, 09:03:46 PM
Nothing specific to be honest but I often use it to find out how to do certain DIY home tasks. I’ve figured out how to do a lot of stuff around the house like fixing leaks. I mean, I watch music videos & nature type, animal videos too. What I’ve been using it for mostly the last couple years is home DIY.
1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many chickens own BTC. Don't be a chicken, HODL! BE A LION. on: November 10, 2022, 07:45:38 PM
It happens every bear market, something catastrophic happens in ‘crypto’ space & all the weak hands capitulate. It’s quite embarrassing really but that is human psychology for you. Lots of people have weak mentality.

I always do the opposite of what these people do. Buy when we are experiencing perceived bad times. Sell during bull markets.

Simple.
1457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAM THE FOUNDER OF FTX on: November 10, 2022, 05:36:50 PM
Losing is a villain. If you win, your reputation may be better, but who can keep winning? How many people are ruined behind the downfall of FTX. This is not a situation caused by a single person.

It’s impossible for him to come out of this looking like anything other than a fraudster. To be honest, he is going to have to employ a very good legal team to stay out of jail.

The guy has ruined lives.
1458  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anyone watch horror movies? on: November 10, 2022, 04:14:36 PM
I went to the cinema a couple of weeks ago to see Halloween Ends. It was pretty good but nothing too special. I had to see the conclusion of such a great series of movies that’s been going back decades.

I have always been a big horror movie can though.
1459  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why it's not a good idea to leave your coins on any exchange on: November 08, 2022, 07:43:55 PM
There’s a reason the OG saying is still very relevant - Not your keys, not your coins.

Cold storage is the only way to sleep well at night. You can not trust any platform to hold your coins & be 100% safe.

Self custody is the way.
1460  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to find a girl like this...;) on: November 08, 2022, 07:08:50 PM
I am a single man around 40, not having problems with dating girls. Neither in real world nor Tinder. However it is almost impossible to find a girl/woman who shares same interests. Who is a fan of free market, bitcoin revolution, libertarian. Who consider living as digital nomad, family as the biggest value, having homeschooling for kids, being out of mass-media brainwashing. Here in Poland huge majority of girls are leftists, focus on career with no real values.
Do you know some website, apps, place who connects people with similar view or maybe where I should go to find my future wife Smiley

I feel your pain brother, so many girls are lefties. I can’t tolerate that type of personality. Polish girls are hot though man, there must be some out there with similar interests.

You just need to forget about it & enjoy life. The perfect girl won’t come when you’re desperately looking so much.
She will come when you least expect it.
