1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: February 20, 2022, 06:50:20 PM
Bukele is a pioneer & will go down in the history books as a hero to his people. He’s made a massive decision & it’ll benefit his people massively. Their GDP is already up over 10% since they adopted bitcoin as legal tender. When he did so it was a massive step & El Salvador is the first of many. We will see dozens of nations follow his lead over the next decade or so. Strap up & buckle in, it’s going to be a hell of a ride.
1822  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which social platform do you prefer? on: February 20, 2022, 03:05:58 PM
I used to use Facebook a lot & I’ve also been fond of Instagram. Now though as I have got a little older my favourite social media platform is Twitter but I mostly use it with an anon bitcoin related account for news & to follow bitcoin accounts. Twitter is the best place for breaking news in my opinion.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: February 20, 2022, 02:42:02 PM
It’s like anything, you can get lucky if you invest in the right one & make huge gains. All likelihood though is you’ll pick the wrong one to invest in & lose money. If you feel like taking a risk & must invest in meme coins don’t invest more than you can afford to lose.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what gives Bitcoin it value? on: February 20, 2022, 01:59:02 PM
All about supply & demand, the world financial system is on its knees. Bitcoin is a deflationary asset, the supply of new coins mined halves every 4 years. Fiat is inflationary as we all know & it’s only getting worse. Bitcoin is going to eat up peoples investment money. Pensions, savings, everything, people will migrate to bitcoin. Bitcoin is going to play a massive part in the future of finance.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD seems to be majorly targeted towards well perfoming assets like Bitcoin. on: February 20, 2022, 01:12:34 PM
FUD will always be here for bitcoin but it’s easy for anybody with half a brain to ignore it. I mean who cares about ‘the energy’. I use FUD induced dumps as an opportunity to buy cheap coin & you should too. Mainstream media & the status quo will always try to shit on bitcoin but it’s easy to use their nonsense as a good buying opportunity. Bitcoin is unstoppable, they will all accept that soon.
1826  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: February 18, 2022, 12:38:15 PM
I’m going to watch the latest Texas Chainsaw movie on Netflix today. I know there are loads of versions of this movie but there is yet another remake which has only dropped on UK Netflix today. I’m going to give it a go, anybody seen it yet?
1827  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will there be a world war three? on: February 18, 2022, 10:37:35 AM
If there was to be a WW3 it’d be catastrophic for lives lost but also the world economy. As it stands I don’t think it will escalate to get that far. To be honest everything coming out of Russia & Ukraine suggests there won’t be a war. Western media & politicians seem desperate for a war though.
1828  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price once goes into consolidation in a critical area where speculator on: February 18, 2022, 10:35:35 AM
Peter Schiff is a well known troll. I wouldn't be surprised if he was in fact a bitcoin whale, I think he just enjoys trolling. His son Spencer publicly states his love of bitcoin, it might be a good cop, bad cop play they have going on.
As for the bitcoin price we are currently touching support. If we break under $40,000 convincingly then we could be confirmed as entering a bear market. $69,000 looks like the top so we could go as low as $25,000 before we hit the next halvening & then begin the next bull market & reach new ath in late 2024.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just luck on: February 15, 2022, 08:13:42 PM
Is it just luck that I made most of my money from shitcoins and meme coins? While people are hating I always make sure I got in early and I ended up smiling, if you bought shiba at few weeks of release you know what I'm talking about, I do get some big altcoins too but this so called shitcoins gives me the best profits.

It doesn’t really matter if it was luck or not, you did well& that’s all that matters. What I would say is coins like SHIB might not be guaranteed to do well long term so if you’ve made huge profits on less well known coins it might be a good idea to convert large % of those profits into bitcoin.
1830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Ministry wants to legalize Bitcoin mining in specific areas on: February 15, 2022, 07:08:43 PM
Russia being bullish about bitcoin is very good for. They have vast energy resources so mining on huge scales is no problem. I guess the only negative is if the US does the opposite because of bad relations with Russia & comes down hard. That would really not be good.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum whales bullish on Shiba Inu price on: February 15, 2022, 03:17:38 PM
SHIB has had its day now, I don’t think it’s due a pump, not a significant one any way. It will rise again but not imminently in my opinion. You may have to wait until after the next bitcoin halving & bull run before SHIB makes large gains again.
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Almost Lost Bitcoins Recovered - Forgotten Wallet Details on: February 15, 2022, 02:37:50 PM
Very risky handing over wallet details to a 3rd party. The only one I’ve ever seen mentioned as 100% trustworthy is Dave’s Wallet Recovery https://www.walletrecoveryservices.com/
He’s been featured in many articles, both mainstream & crypto related.
1833  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the last movie you watched? on: February 15, 2022, 02:11:28 PM
Currently watching ‘Wrong Turn’, the latest one. I’ve seen it before, it’s quite good. I saw the new Jackass Movie last week which brought back a lot of memories for me from growing up. It was worth the visit to the cinema Smiley
1834  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To the Moon: Shitcoins are Ponzi Schemes on: February 10, 2022, 12:18:40 PM
Lots of alts & tokens carry a very high risk which is why the majority of them are extremely cheap. You must do your own research when buying a non mainstream coin. Obviously don’t invest too much in the less well known alts. That’s not to say you can’t make great profits from them but just be aware you can make big losses. I personally prefer to buy bitcoin, eth etc but tgere are many opportunities in others.
1835  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use Telegram? on: February 10, 2022, 12:15:24 PM
I do use it & I far prefer it to Whatsapp. I feel like my messages are more encrypted & private than any other messaging platform. Definite thumbs up from me.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 10, 2022, 11:44:06 AM
My hand is up in the air too OP. I’m not interested in any of that nonsense, I have a few alts but the vast majority of my net worth is in bitcoin. I have no interest in NFT’s or any of that Metaverse nonsense. I know people have done really well out of NFT’s but simply HODLING bitcoin has never failed me, it’s my tried & trusted method of increasing my net worth & I am not about to change that now.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: February 10, 2022, 11:30:36 AM
Staking USDT & USDC is possible on BlockFi, you can get up to 9% per year. I guess the only problem is the risk of them being hacked & your collateral being drained & they don’t pay you back. It’s a real risk, I’ve thought about leaving significant funds on there before & taking an easy little monthly salary out of the interest but it’s always in the back of my mind about not your keys, not your coins.

1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe we found a way to avoid taxation!!?? on: February 08, 2022, 10:22:31 PM
Best thing you can do to eliminate all risk is just leave India. Emigrate to a country with 0% tax on crypto. There are plenty around if you do your research, it’s not hard to find.
1840  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your phone type on: February 08, 2022, 09:32:10 PM
Probably not a good idea to divulge too much info here about exactly what devices you use. Most people on these forums are fine but there’s always the odd scoundrel who would do anything to get money that isn’t his. Watch your OPSEC please, there are some very skilled hackers here.
