1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum (ETH) on Its Way to $2,100, Top Trader Says ! on: September 12, 2022, 01:09:52 PM
I am very interested to see what happens with ETH short term. The merge is this week, I honestly can’t predict what’s going to happen, which way it’s going to go.

Many people are suggesting we will see a relief rally if everything with the merge goes to plan. This could push the price to the OP suggested $2,100.

Will be interesting.
1582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am initiating a bill to review the ban on Bitcoin in my country's parliament. on: September 12, 2022, 12:57:56 PM
I don’t have much to add, other than to compliment you, OP. I am full of respect for your battling qualities. Such a thorough package you’ve put together, in attempt to review the imposed ban. You will go far in life with this kind of attitude.

You are fighting, not just for yourself & innovation but also your people. What a guy Smiley
1583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Censorship in Bitcoin online forums on: September 11, 2022, 08:43:05 PM
Any centralized website has a chance of deciding to censor you. It’s everywhere now, all over social media too. It really cranked up during covid, all that fact checker nonsense. This is the world we live in now, it’s far from just bitcoin, it’s everything. So many cry babies get offended about little things, strong minded people are now the minority.
1584  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rug pull scams on: September 11, 2022, 07:15:18 PM
Rug pull scams "pumping up" a new project, nonfungible token (NFT) or coin to get funding. After the scammers get the money, they disappear with it. The coding for these investments prevents people from selling the bitcoin after purchase, so investors are left with a valueless investment.

It’s been happening for years. This is why you need to do extensive research before you FOMO into random alts. To be honest, it’s better to just stick with bitcoin or mainstream alts. Lots of the lesser known coins are a minefield of scams.
1585  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's a Crypto Signal? on: September 11, 2022, 07:07:40 PM
My simple suggestion is to do your own research. These supposed chart analysts & influencers don’t really know s**t. How many of them predicted the top of the last bitcoin bull run price to be so low? Answer is none of them. Seriously these crypto signals are just noise. Buy & HODL, that’s the way.
1586  Other / Off-topic / Re: comedy movie on: September 09, 2022, 07:46:28 PM
You can’t beat Step Brothers, starring Will Ferrell & John C Reilly.
I’m not huge on comedy movies but this is a genuinely laugh out loud movie.

Anything with Will Ferrell in is genuinely hilarious, for example Get Hard with Ferrell & Kevin Hart is great.
1587  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you use for generating strong passwords? on: September 09, 2022, 03:16:52 PM
I wouldn’t advise using a third party, it’s asking for trouble. My advice would be choose a complex mix of words & numbers, special characters that mean something to you. A mixture of upper & lower case. Write it down in a couple of places that nobody will find it.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Scam Tokens in the name of late Queen Elizabeth on: September 09, 2022, 01:57:35 PM
There’s always a scammer of some sort, trying to profit off tragedy. Some of these people have a special place in hell waiting for them. I hate reading about people who fall victim to scams like this.

RIP Her Majesty.
1589  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gratitude for cryptocurrency on: September 09, 2022, 01:48:38 PM
Bitcoin has been a shining light in my life, a real saviour. I have so many opportunities that would not have been possible in my life if I didn’t discover bitcoin so early. I thank Satoshi for everything he did, his genius & innovation. I also thank the guy who told me about bitcoin.

I try my best to educate others so they can also gain a better life.
1590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jay-Z and Jack Dorsey to gift Marcy House in New York 17.62 BTC on: September 09, 2022, 12:31:57 PM
Such a great cause which will really help the needy. A really great cause & kudos to Dorsey & Jay-Z for having the conviction & heart to do something like this.

There are seemingly still some good people left on this earth.
1591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Solana(SOL) price could reach an average of $60 in 2023 ???? on: September 08, 2022, 07:57:07 PM
SOL has had network issues & adoption seems to have stalled. I don’t think it’ll reach $60 or more in 2023.

It could ride the next bull wave after the bitcoin 2024 halving & hit over $100. It will not touch $60 in 2023 though.
1592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lost 10 BTC in between Feb and May on: September 08, 2022, 07:55:02 PM
My advice would be to stop ‘trading.

When I say that, I mean you should be buying a HODLING for many years. It’s the only sure fire way to guarantee profit, very handsome profit too. Actively buying & selling, buying back & selling, back & forth is the best way to become broke. Nobody can control the markets movements so buy regularly & HODL.

Forget about ‘trading’.
1593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose on: September 08, 2022, 07:23:06 PM
Never heard of any of them myself. Probably very risky investments, all of them. The only advice I’d give is to do extensive research before investing in these type of projects. I have seen many pump & dump schemes in my ears in crypto. Be careful in the jungle.
1594  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like food cooked on coals? on: September 08, 2022, 06:22:44 PM
I do, not much better than a BBQ in the summer. Meat tastes great on a BBQ, the smoky taste stays on it even when you add sauce.

Always great to have a coal fire BBQ with friends in the summer months.
1595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat Banks Conspiracy Against Customers. Bitcoin is the Best Option on: September 07, 2022, 12:51:26 PM
Fiat banks are government controlled spyware.

‘You will own nothing & be happy’
Klaus Schwab

You are controlled & stolen from every year via inflation. Sure we need fiat for every day purchases in most countries but that will lessen & lessen. Bitcoin is here to stay, deflationary & decentralised. Take control of your own finance & self custody.
1596  Other / Off-topic / Re: Owner of scam exchange Thodex arrested in Albania on: September 04, 2022, 12:36:16 PM
Boggles my mind how these CEOs think exit scamming would be a great idea. It's not like he's an anonymous founder of a DeFi platform, he's literally a doxxed owner of a centralized exchange. Yea you've hauled a huge amount of money, but how would you even live a normal life lol knowing that you're being pursued by the authorities.

I suppose they think they can alter their identity & maybe get fake documents with another ID. For a start it’s sub-human to exit scam but it’s just a terrible life to always be on the run, looking over your shoulder.

No amount of money justifies exit scamming & hurting so many people.

I’m glad he has been arrested & hope he gets a long jail sentence.
1597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Designed Wrist Watch - Selling For $400,000😱😱 on: September 04, 2022, 12:32:13 PM
I’ll pass on this, it looks quite cool but if i am to spend $400,000 on anything it won’t be something worn on my wrist. To buy something like this you must be worth $20,000,000 or more to justify it. I mean you can buy a home for $400,000 or even just a bunch of bitcoin which will be worth at least 3 or 4 x current price in a few years.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Solana still among the top 10 coins in market cap? on: September 04, 2022, 11:59:57 AM
Lots of people probably still have belief that it can be the ETH killer. I really used to believe in it but the network interruptions are just not acceptable. I really would not like to have a significant % of my portfolio as SOL.
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Moreno on: September 01, 2022, 07:28:15 PM
Monero is great but I just don’t think it has any real future. Exchanges hate it & most delisted it due to government pressure. It really works, it’s bulletproof but it’s not going to be allowed to prosper due to it’s anonymity.
1600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5,000 BTC from Satoshi-Era Wallet Moved on: September 01, 2022, 03:15:53 PM
As others have said, it’s really not that unusual. It’s also not Satoshi era, I’m seeing 2013 as the first transactions. Lots of early adopters still around with fat stacks of bitcoin. Admittedly that is a really big stack but these people do walk amongst us Smiley
