It is true that placing bets every single day will increase your chances of winning but how about your loss? Successive loss may ruin your mood of gambling for fun. It depends on the occasion. If the gambler has a family with kids (not necessarily though), then those who suffer the immediate consequences of their addiction are their family members or close ones in general. They may become distant or cause a shortage of funds because all of their money was spent on gambling. Certainly, it affects both parties, but the gambler is usually out of control and has lost his sense of emotion, which means that quite often, they don't immediately understand that they are hurting their loved ones and only focus on what's troubling them, which is their gambling losses.
It's unfortunately quite saddening that any type of addiction, such as alcoholism, can pretty much ruin your life and the lives of your loved ones.
Gambling addiction is one of the worst addictions that anyone can go through in life because the consequences that comes with it won't just affect the addicted person but will also affect people around him. The level of who it affects more between the person that's engaged in it and hisclosed ones depends on how influencial and important the affected person can be to the immediate family. I was reading some comments on line today and a story caught my attention, and I want to know how possible this is.
A guy claimed he won $5000 on a poker machine and that's where his addiction began, and when it get to the point that he lost his rent money to gambling he decide to take matters in his one way.
He proceeded by going to gaming commission and had his name banned by himself, ( Someone please tell me how this is possible?) never seen such in my country before. he claimed he still go back to casinos at times and he knew he can't ever win big again, because his name was flagged in the system, and if he win big they won't pay him.
He said he was limited to winning $200, that anymore than this he would have to sign his name and be subject to prosecution for trespassing. He claimed his move took his joy out from gambling real fast, and now he haven't been near a casino in over 10 years.
What do you think? This is an insanely move on oneself to stop addiction, something done right? Would you do the same if such is possible in your country?
To The gambler who went to the commission so that they will blacklist his name from gambling and has already reduced his opportunity of winning to only $200, I can say that he is a fool at first and the later he is a hero. Why do I call him a fool is because in this life he has limited himself not to regain the money he has lost in gambling by enemies. It could also be a good team to him because why he will not be able to win up to the amount he lost in gambling it is another way of saving his money not to lavish more in gambling. If actually he needed to stop gambling it is something he could do by himself and not to report himself to the authority and in the end the authority took away the freedom he has. Even if in the future when he regains his sanity and they want to remove the limitation it will be a problem to him because he would receive so much questions that he will not be able to answer. The best thing to do is to remain discipline by yourself and give yourself such limitation so that in the future at any given time you could simply reverse situation or decision and everything will change good for you. I also acknowledge that it is not everyone that will be discipline to this extent so the essence of the measures that he took. |

Bayern Munich has got a really experienced coach and so Leverkusen should be weary of not loosing a point because if they do at this point Bayern Munich will stop at nothing to getting back at the top of the table and reclaiming back their dominance in the Bundesliga this season which I'm sure is one of their greatest wishes this season. If Bayern Munich wins their next match, they will be a point behind Leverkusen as they are currently four points behind and if Leverkusen is able to win their next match, they will be able to maintaining the margin between the.and Bayern Munich only that Munich is still goals ahead. The German Bundesliga this season have been more competitive than it's been in the past eleven years thanks to Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen impressive performance and just like many other football lovers across the globe who very happy with the development in the German league, I'm also very happy that Bayern Munich is finally facing a strong contention from a strong and determined team on who will finish the season with the German Bundesliga title. I don't know if you can say that Juventus were lucky that Salernitana got a red card and only after that Juventus could score two goals... But Salernitana played well in the first half... Salernitana isn't one of the best performing teams in the Italian Serie A this season but their Italian Serie A game yesterday against Juventus, they really played well in that game and would've won either win the game or at least get a point from the had their midfield player Maggiore did receive a red card in that very match. And despite playing most of the second half of that game with 10-man, Salernitana still held on till the end of normal time. It took Vlahovic's stoppage time goal to seal victory for Juventus in that very important game. That being said, we must not feign ignorance to the fact that Juventus have been immensely impressive this season in the Italian league and are doing everything possible to make sure to overtake Inter Milan in the league table. Xavi seems like he cant find the last turn in the team, is like they still have the same failures as always and they are not a consistent team, not matter which team is in front, for example yesterday, you cant allow a weak team like Barbastro score two goals against you.
It was a surprised game yesterday seen weak team to secured such goals from Barcelona and, it makes Many people to know that the coach don't have the strength to make Barcelona to lift this season trophy. Well, something can still happen at this period if the coach can realize his mistakes to work on it before it's over because the current position of Barcelona in the la Liga league table speak about Barcelona performance this season. Barcelona have been inconsistent since the start of the season which I think is caused as a result of the limited number of quality players in the squad. The club was unable to sign big players during last summer and will still be limited to do same this Winter transfer window because of the current financial crises at the club. But I didn't expect all these to make Barcelona perform like an average team against Barbastro yesterday in their Spanish Copa Dey Rey game. Xavi Hernandez is one manager that's proven that he is capable of managing an average and and still significantly improve their performance in a short period of time so I don't expect his Barcelona side to be performing poorly in some of the matches they've played this season. The truth is that Xavi Hernandez I don't think is capable of helping the club win either of the Spanish La Liga title or the UEFA champions league trophy but winning the Copa Dey Rey wouldn't be a bad idea and Barcelona must perform better in future fixtures in the Copa Dey Rey to at least end the season with the Copa Dey Rey trophy |

I'd like to share my experience with you all. Even though I'm not currently employed, I went through a phase of gambling while I was working in the past, and the outcome wasn't positive. This leaves us in a precarious situation when we lose because the money we initially budgeted for our families gets diverted to cover unexpected gambling-related expenses.

I did not agree with them however on that very premise because I decided to look at the whole matter from the other way around which majority of the posters did not consider. If a man who earns $10,000 daily loses $5,000 to gambling it will not affect him but we dispected us will see it that he has lost a huge amount of money. In the other hand another man who earns $30 daily and eventually loses $100 to gambling, we will not regard it that it is a huge amount of money that is lost but to the gambler they have lost very much amount of money. This is why before we make conclusions we must surely understand the level and the ability of the gambler to end much money than they can lose. Bringing some ideology to this trend should make us to understand that a rich person can easily afford 50 dollars for a spin of 42 million dollars while a poor man would not try it at all because if it's fails they might go hungry for the rest of the week. I thought that you would have accompanied this post with a poll, that is when you will get the exact opinion of the people on this thread. If you go randomly through the conversation you will get many contradictions and besides many people do not answer such questions according to their life experience, rather they make general assumptions and put together some posts that seems to be connected in order to complete their campaign quota. Although, I followed up the thread that you referend here and I think many people dished out their unbiased opinion about the topic. Even if the topic seems verse and not straightforward. A woman (elderly) was spotted in a gambling shop seriously making predictions on virtual gaming and with the way she plays it appears that she has been gambling for a long time now. But if the person that is supposed to caution you when you are going extreme in gambling is the one that is involved in gambling know that things are not right. Grandma used to gamble, but only occasionally, mom is the same way. They only bet on the lottery and its variations, as they don't engage in other types of gambling like card games. I don't worry about their gambling habits because they only spend a small amount, and they're not addicted to it. It's their right to gamble, as long as it doesn't cause problems or stress. But have you ever asked them why they gamble? They might have their reasons, maybe they're just bored or something. Of course, the hope of winning or hitting the jackpot is always there.

If for any reason I happen to my elderly mother gambling, I'll be extremely worried and would do everything within my strength to make sure she stops gambling and anything that's related to it. I have come across Local gamblers who are addicted to gambling and had ruined their selves by themselves til they ran bankrupt yet they borrows money to gamble at all means even While being indebted.
Theses sets of gamblers doesn't have remorse nor conscience about their gambling lifestyles instead their friends and relatives are the ones who bears the shameful consequences the addicted gambler brought to their circle of relationships.
At the virtue of getting the unbearable situations to an end, the relatives broadcasts the chronic addicted gambler at all costs of gambling boards never to give him privileges to gamble in any of the Gambling arenas anymore else they (the relatives) would sue the gambling boards owner.
This is just how recklessness could mess your life of you can't take control to gamble responsibly.
