The spurs really got is some surprise package yesterday because it was actually looking like this city boys has got totally control already and are going to win by the end of the match, althrough the first half, the city boys had more chances for goal which they did missed.
But it turned out that by the end of the match the the spurs were able to secure a point from the city boys. I must commend the spurs because they did had an incident that could have possibly caused their morales to be low but the fought back hard regardless and it did turned out the got a fair results, they have successfully maintained this fift position while denying city the opportunity to have gotten to the top even at their home.
Well in general Manchester City should have won this match, but Haaland screwed up a couple of 100% chances, although usually he realizes them 100%, besides at the end the referee stopped the exit almost one-on-one, so in general Tottenham still a little bit lucky. Nevertheless, we must give credit to Tottenham players they fought to the end and considering three(!) defeats in a row before, they managed to take one point from the strongest team in the EPL, which should give Tottenham players confidence and slightly improve the tournament situation, especially considering that Aston Villa failed to take 3 points. I admit that Man City chances of winning yesterday were very big, but what disappointed me was that for some reason, in the second half, Man City was under continuous pressure from Spurs attacking players and there was only a slight margin in possession of the ball. even though previously they were 3 points ahead and Spurs were only 2 and that when I hoped that at least Mam City defense would be strengthened but it seemed like they would lose concentration and conceded 1 more score by Kulusevski. I also admit that Spurs performance was good enough yesterday to be able to hold a draw against the big teams in the EPL and I am worried that Spurs will return to their strong performance as before and endanger Man City position which is currently just below Liverpool and Arsenal. One mistake I think a lot of us are making is we are still rating Manchester City this season based on their performance of last season and that's why a lot of people lost their stakes yesterday as they had predicted a Manchester City win even when it's visible that they're not as effective as they were last season. If all the traditional big teams in England that Manchester City have face this season before their game against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday which includes Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea they were able to defeat on Manchester United while drawing with Liverpool and Chelsea aw well as losing to Arsenal. The same fixtures last season had different results as they picked more points from the same fixtures last season. Pep Guardiola's without doubt are still strong contenders for the league title this season but having drawn their last three English Premier League games, they'll have to improve in their performance to still stand a chance to win the league title. |

I was sure that Inter Milan would win. They have no choice but to win to keep the top spot in the points table. Defeat would see them lose the top spot. But since Napoli had a home match. Andre Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold's efforts in the dying minutes showed how determined Liverpool was. This team has the toughness and skill to get through tough situations, which makes every game excitement for us fans. Liverpool's chances in the Europa League look good after the way they've been playing lately, especially at Anfield. Keep up this pace; maybe even use it to surprise people in the league and Europe. Hopefully they keep it up Liverpool last season had a forgettable campaign both in the domestic league and in Europe as well but has taken it upon themselves to make up for their poor outing last season and yesterday's late win against Fulham showed how determined they are to really make up for their poor campaign of last season. It was a game that was filled with beautiful goals as three of Liverpool's goals were all scored from outside the box. Trent Alexander-Arnold was undoubtedly the best player of the game and was the man that scored the 88th minute goal that helped Liverpool grab all three points from that game. With their recent performances, Liverpool are undoubtedly one of the strongest contenders for the English Premier League title this season.
I think you're wrong, when you say they played well in this game its true because after all with the dominance in the first half before Gallagher left in the first half cause Red Card they played really well.
In the second half though Brighton were better and dominated but Chelsea defended very well even their counterattacks managed to make Brighton lose concentration which made them have to be punished with a penalty.
It shows Chelsea performance is quite good even though until the whole match they are still quite bad but in this match Chelsea deserve to be given praise especially for the 3 points they get.
I dont agree with this because this Chelsea side has shown a massive improvement than the way they performed last season under low class coach Potter. You can tell from their matches against EPL big 6, this team have really held some big 6 teams to a classy draw and some crazy wins over them, just that there are still some errors to be corrected before they're start doing very well as required. Yes, we should know the team is rebuilding and theyll falter in some matches but thats part of the process, In the game against Brighton they were pretty playing better till the Red Card incidence which involved a key man in the teams midfield, that disrupt their play and they struggled of course, but then they still won the 3points which is the most important thing, despite playing with a man down, one of their key players for that matter. Anyone who closely followed up the Chelsea team last season I think will attest to the fact that they've significantly improved since the start of the season thanks to the new tactical approach of the current manager Mauricio Pochettino. But I think the club fans are still expecting more from Chelsea and that's because of the kind of quality players at the club's disposal this season. Chelsea without doubt dominated most part of their game against Brighton and Hove Albion yesterday but after Conor Gallagher was shown the red card, the away team then utilized the opportunity of playing against 10 men to press the Chelsea defense and were rewarded with a stoppage time goal which wasn't enough to stop Chelsea from winning the game. Nothing can stop Leverkusen to win Bundesliga this year and I will keep this bold prediction for the rest of the season. Sure , Bayern looks strong , healthy and always ready to win but Leverkusen looks more like a team than Bayern in my opinion and this will be a huge advantage when they will face each other later.

The way Leverkusen are playing is really impressive. Today against Dortmund their performance was again really good. There was a dominant game by Leverkusen but they weren't on their good day on one hand. Because despite trying really hard they still couldn't score more than one goal. Even that equalizer came quite late in the game. I mean Dortmund could have even won here without showing a decent performance. Because I can't say that they were good at all today. But it is normal to see that because of Leverkusen's great system. Especially in away games your job is much more difficult against them. The dominance is quite good from Leverkusen, it's just that yesterday's match Dortmund also defended quite well. A situation that forces Dortmund to play tactically and not want to take risks so that when Leverkusen are 1 goal behind, they will play fast and Dortmund cannot do anything but survive in this match. Just like the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said after the match, I have never seen a game with many beautiful goals like the ones I saw in Liverpool's 4:3 win over Fulham on Sunday afternoon. It was a thrilling game as 7 beautiful goals were scored in the game but the most beautiful of them all in my own opinion was the Alexis Mac Allister thunderous effort from range in to the top corner. The win saw Liverpool overtake Manchester City in the English Premier League table as they're now in the second position, one two points behind league leaders Arsenal who narrowly defeated Wolves on Saturday.. They were lucky to win because I don't know what's wrong with Chelsea, they always seem to start games well. However, by the end of the match, they seem to be playing with the ball anyway and start creating goals that aren't necessary. Take a look at the unnecessary foul that Gallagher committed in the final seconds of the first half, which resulted in a red card. they were just lucky to win, their midfield and defence are always at their best, but they still need to focus on that striker.
Having closely followed Chelsea since the start of the season under current boss Mauricio Pochettino, I've found out that one of their problems is lack of composure to protect their leads even after going two goals up in some cases. They started the game against Brighton and Hove Albion in clinical fashion as they scored two goals in the first 21 minutes of the game but couldn't finish the first half of the game with the two goals lead as Facundo Buonanotte scored a goal two minutes before the end of the first half. Chelsea regained their two goals lead in the second half before Conor Gallagher picked a second yellow card that saw him sent off and allowed the visitors to press them in the closing minutes if the game. For the second time in their last two games, the two players that wore Chelsea's captain armband were shown the red card and that I think should be worked on by the club manager. |

In as much as you score, also don't concede much but I do know that high scoring teams don't always have the defensive power. I think it's time for Manchester City to make changes in their defence. In their last four games, they have conceded 10 goals despite investing so much in it. It is possible that their chances will get slimmer with the goals conceded, especially if it continues, even if they continue to score goals like they have been
Despite conceding a lot of goals in their last four games, Manchester City remains one of the best teams in the Premier League this season. I believe it won't matter much if they are already winning most of their matches by two or more goals, which will compensate for the goals conceded by their goalkeeper. They can still make adjustments to the defence positions, but I don't think that will prevent them from winning their games and maintaining their lead in the Premier League title race. Not only this season. Manchester City has been phenomenal in the English premier League for the past 5 seasons. I even see the decline of performance this season compared to last season. They are still in the corridors of power and to be honest with us, they are the most feared in the English premier League top 4 currently even when they are not at the top most position. The fight for the title is still quite long and we'll just have to wait and see because Liverpool starts to disturb the peace at the top of the standing.
Pep is very dedicated to the Manchester city team and he has instilled in the players the same mentality of winning and dedication to work. I was amazed when Guardiola said that even if Manchester city would later be fined and relegated to championship by the authorities, that he is going with Manchester city. So sad to see that Manchester city couldn't win their match against Tottenham which has pulled them down to third position on the table. Both teams did brilliantly well and I wouldn't blame anyone for the draw on this match. Man City needs to add more commitment and try to win their upcoming matches so that they don't drop points anymore to keep them on track in the trophy race. Tottenham surprised me because I never expected such wonderful performance from them in this game.
Why feel sad? Man City still got 1 point at least, they also still have the chance to win the EPL title. Don't feel so worried, it is just the matchday 14 and we have many remaining matches. Although Man City must be in 3rd place, the point gaps with Arsenal and Liverpool are very small (1 & 3 points only). This draw even makes the race of the EPL title this season be more interesting. Yes, it is better to focus on the next match. Man City will play against Aston Villa, it won't be an easy match because Aston Villa is quite strong team and the match will be held in Aston Villa home. Man City shouldn't miss 3 points anymore if they want to keep the chance for trophy race. I don't know why anyone should be sad that Manchester city lost. Arsenal must focus on their targets and they must play every match like a final in order to get 3 points.
This season has only one difference from the previous one which is Liverpool are doing better more than Manchester City tends to miss points or gunners doing good. In fact Manchester City do miss points even in the previous years even vs weaker teams. Arsenal do pick the first spot for long time and finish by conceding defeats and lose the title. Even Liverpool aren't that perfect but they are way better than the previous season which should be an alert to Pep Guardiola and Arteta. After all, a draw vs annoying Tottenham Hotspur shouldn't disappoint Manchester City for long. Having Liverpool in the clear race for the English premier title is very commendable and I really like it. Considering United just got a loss against Newcastle as well, it's quite possible that they will end up being fourth in the group, that seems like the likely result. Of course this depends on Bayern a bit as well, Bayern could just play the weak bench and not really care for the game, some young future potential players and all, which could definitely be a trouble for them if they are not careful, but most of the time it looks like we are going to end up with a good result one way or another.
I mean think about it, we are talking about a team that already guaranteed their first place, so who knows. Even with that case, I still feel like United may not end up getting a win, at best a draw, and I am sure that they are going to be have trouble, best case would be Europa I guess, second place is long gone if you calculate it, so it is not going to happen.
It is obvious to the blind how horrible Manchester United has been in the champions league this season. It was almost like they were beating PSV home in their last game though. However that red card brought Sevilla's end very quickly by a big comeback from PSV. Lens aren't a competitor to be underestimated. They even beat Arsenal home and I wouldn't take them on against Sevilla for certain. But both teams to score could be a nice option to bet on.
What I have learnt about Sevilla is to write them out in any competition in this world but not to write them out in the Europa League competition. I have made the mistake of underrating them twice in the Europa League even when they were also not in form but they proved me wrong. It is Joa' felix intervention that made the difference in the first 45 minutes at the camp Nou tonight. It has been a fierce battle tonight as Barcelona took the lead in the 28 minute after a lovely pass from Raphinha to jao felix to put Barcelona ahead in the game though Barcelona have lost a couple of good chances tonight
but I think they are looking great tonight as they keep creating more chances in front of the athletico Madrid goal.Athletico Madrid have also done well tonight by not allowing Barcelona increase the deficit tonight because that would have been a disaster for them and would thrown them in chaos, as it is right now they still have a chance of coming back into this game and that's what's gonna make the second half more interesting.
The battle is fierce and I must confess the match has been intensive from the blowing of the starting whistle till this time. It is as if this is El Classico and if real examination is done, we can attest that this meeting is more interesting than some El classico recently. There is one thing I like about football and that is the fact that history is always honoured. It was a beauty to behold in this fixture seeing how these goals keep coming back to back from both team especially Tottenham, I must commend them for not throwing in the towel so fast, they really played as a unit despite their poor performance in the first half that nearly cost them this all three points. As for Manchester city I think they really have to work on their defence, you can't be scoring much goals in one game and also concede almost the same number of goal you scored this kind of situation can be very frustrating for the for the players upfront because you have to preserve the lead but all the same I must say it was classy performance tonight from both sides. If there is anything that gave me the most just this Sunday, it is the Manchester city Vs Tottenham match. I must commend Totenham for having a fighting spirit. Not every club will be able to have a point in a match that Manchester city is leading you in the second half. If there is any team I have to give the award of resilience this Sunday, it is Tottenham. They refused to be intimidated or broken by Manchester United and they performed their best in the second half with high pressing and commitment. They deserve even more than the 1 point, but considering that got the point from the Citizens, it is satisfying.
But the result does not very well reflect how the game went for Newcastle. They have been one step ahead almost full time of the game and it was more a question of time when they are going to score. Manchester United is good enough to also score and it is not like this game should have ended like 4-0 or something like that, but considering the whole distance of the game this was a highly justified win for Newcastle.
Newcastle dominated the entire game and initially it was clear that this would be a difficult game for Manchester United and, frankly, Newcastle could have scored more. With this victory they have significantly improved their position in the standings and if City can defeat Tottenham today, then Newcastle will be able to get closer to the Champions League zone. I am looking forward to see how Real Madrid succeeds in making the transition especially in their midfield. Bellingham was a present from heaven for them because he is filling so many gaps that Real Madrid feared could become a problem for them. But now he partially solves the striker problem, also adds strength to the midfield and also takes on responsibility for some tasks in the defense. I guess there is nothing else you can ask a player to do for the team. But Kroos will also be gone in the near future and his passing was one of the best I have ever seen in football. The accuracy is from a different planet and it still impresses me how calm he is with the ball.
Real Madrid has succeeded in building their future midfielders. We can see there are many young midfielders in Real Madrid squad. Bellingham is one of the most shining young midfielder of Real Madrid, he already contributed very well since his arrival in Real Madrid. But I think Bellingham doesn't fix the problem of striker problem totally, he is just a temporary solution. Bellingham position is still an attacking midfielder, he doesn't change to be a real striker. I sometimes feel worried about how long Bellingham can be productive in scoring goals. I realize he often gets difficulty to score goals in big matches, specifically when they play against the teams with strong defense. So, Real Madrid is still in urgent to sign a pure striker, Mbappe should be the real solution. Yes, Kroos is one of the best midfielders in football history. When Kroos decides to leave Real Madrid, it will be a very sad moment for Real Madrid fans. Kroos isn't only a midfielder who has great ability in attacking but he is also good in defense. Al-Hilal definitely showed the world that they are the far superior team and they won the title with this game. I know that people will say the season is not over yet and Al-Nassr still has a mathematical chance to win it and all that, but I honestly believe that with this game I believe that the game is over and the season is over as well.
They will not end up losing to anyone that commonly, they will mostly get wins, and I doubt they would even lose 7 points until the season as well, they may not get like 2 losses and a draw up until the end of the season from here on out. That is important of course, and they may just guaranteed their title for the season, and even if they do lose some, Al-Nassr will not end with 100% win rate.
It is clear that Al Hilal is the only strongest club in the Saudi Pro League, no club can compete with Al Hilal's strength. Even though Al Nassr also looks strong with European star players, this is not enough to match the strength of the squad Al Hilal is very worthy if Al Hilal can win the title this season considering its consistency outstanding. The current champions of Saudi Arabia without doubt has been the most consistent team in the Saudi Pro League this season but I was expecting more from Al Nassr than the performance they delivered on Friday night. Losing by a three goals to nil to Al Hilal was a very embarrassing result to Al Nassr and that's because of the fact that they're regarded as the only team that's gonna challenge the league champions for the title this season after impressive start to the league season. Cristiano Ronaldo who's the leading scorer in the league couldn't help his club to avoid defeat in the game even when he played the who 90 minutes of the game. Al Hilal's win now takes them to seven points above second placed Al Nassr and that I think will make it very difficult for Al Nassr to catch up with them |
