I never doubted the capability of Unai Emery's Aston Villa but I least expected them to beat the Citizens.. and to think that they literally called all the shots to the point that Man City lost control of what they were doing and were forced to defend.
I said it one of my posts that if Man City could find it difficult to beat a club that's struggling like Tottenham Hotspur and instead settled for a draw, what will be the case for Aston Villa who are very fit and this is the result.

Newcastle was definitely better than Manchester United and deserved to get three points out of this game. Ten Hag has to be fired by the new owner of Man United.
Man United showed that their players were lazy not ready to work hard when Rashford got the chance. Just look he was only able to shoot on target once until the second half was over. This is clearly a disappointment that embarrasses Man United. Erik Ten Hag is completely unsuitable to lead Man United and he must realize that. Man United is still doing terrible, if they didn't lose they would be tied to fifth position and now they are at seventh position behind Newcastle, winning this game would have been quite important for them but it didn't happned. They really need to figure out how they could get better, Aston Villa is fourth, do we really think that Man United and Aston Villa are both playing fairly and equally? Aston Villa has so much lesser amount of money to build a squad with, they barely spend the whole season buying players for a single player that United buys, unequal amounts, and yet United is doing worse, that's basically saying United is underachieving their season so far and needs to do a lot better, they may even be out of European competitions all together soon. Manchester United's narrow defeat at Newcastle on Saturday has further explained how clueless the club's current manager is at the moment and why he lacks the tactical ability to help the club have a good campaign. Manchester City are not in form as regarded, they was shocked by the performance pulled by The visitors, they did try their best but couldn't net a goal, instead they settle for a draw tie which is totally what they expected. I agree with you, if Manchester united eventually win Bayern probably because bayern use theirs rotational payers knowing how risk free this match is to them and it turns in favour of Manchester united, they will still hope Copenhagen draw against Galatasaray.
Qualification is no longer in the hands of Manchester United, the best they can do is to get their own job done by beating Bayern Munich and hope for a miracle in the other game. Beating Bayern isn't going to be an easy task, i know Bayern have already qualified and they might not play their first team, but any team bayern plays is going to be a strong one, United themselves are in a bad position, they are lacking in confidence, so they might fail to win even if Bayern plays a weaker team. Qualification to the champions league finals is no longer in the hands of Manchester United. What they really can influence is to be able to qualify for Europa League and for them to do that they really need to beat Bayern Munich which is not so impossible for them to do because Bayern Munich will still remain at the top of the group table whether they win or lose. This means they might not necessarily fixture all their stars, however Harry Kane must be available.

If this news is true then i will fully support it. De gea was not older enough as a goal keeper. He was better compared with onana. Newcastle will able to recruit him since de gea will be also staying in europe. It will be very interesting thing to see him back again in the EPL as a newcastle goal keeper. As long as newcastle will offer him good salary and i think that de gea will be going there. I hope it will be true. Newcastle needs a good and experienced goal keeper right now.
