I think you didn't understand what I asked for, I can post a made up data as well, I can tell from a screen shot whether you really do and believe what you post here (short term) around, or you are just a troll and try to move sentiment to your desired position.... because you act as a consultant and a trading adviser...

As you should understand by now, by checking how long it takes for me to enter and exit a trade (from the valuable info I posted which - properly analyzed - would greatly boost your skills also), I cannot offer such a service which wakes up all small traders at the instant I make a move  Undecided

Besides I don't understand this consultant thing, I haven't sold such services for years really, nor intend to. All the contribution here is free and buyer beware, as with everybody else's. I honestly believe that people should pay more attention to the opinions of successful people, and have taken some provocations as opportunities to show proof of the success. This is a second time (only) that I have posted a complete record of trades in the ballpark of BTC1k, and will remain so. Keep your apology if you want, and believe it will earn you better karma. I will not put you on ignore, because I like your posts, but I will kindly ask you to ignore me as you seemingly cannot take my facts as they are and develop a conversation based on them.

If anyone wonders why my post quality is so low in this thread, it is not because of my lack of willingness to contribute, it is because mainly the fools reply to my posts and the smart people do not pick the ball.

As much as it seems to you that I "trash" your posts, I am not putting you on ignore, in fact my ignore list is really small, if I didn't ignore Mirsad (being racist and an ass) why should I ignore you ?

I do not hate you, but I do not agree with some of your posts, I neither  disrespect your point of views, but my character (ego) has a really small tolerance to some kind of behavior.

I apologize if you understood my posts the wrong way, but I would like to advise you to learn to respect other peoples inputs as much as you want yours to be respected, and leave the "how rich I am" and " I have more you should listen to me" and "market movers like me" and you know exactly what I mean here, because by that no matter how good your analyse or accurate they are, you are just giving members a bad picture about your self (such an ego, though I have a problem with my ego till I met you).

the moment you think that you know everything is the moment when you know nothing and you wont be able to learn anything, and BTW you own things so don't let it own you...

watching the price of bitcoin is like watching "how I met your mother", you get pissed because of not knowing the mother but at the same time you do not want to know who is the mother because simply the show will end Smiley

people want the price to go down to "buy cheap coins" yet they want bitcoin to go up.....   I want to shutdown the PC and try to not visit this forum for at least 3 months, but I cant.

so Bitcoin is not only an economical phenomena, it is a social phenomena where everyone built this communication bridge (this forum) where they can all discuss and work around together....

That show got boring after season 6 :p

the end is soon (last season now) now that we know who is the mother...

Edit: same Bitcoin Price is getting boring now that the market is slow Wink

Never seen it mentioned here, so just throwing this out, but what happens when the *kids* discover crypto? That's my take on doge - it might not be the one that does it, but if there aren't thousands of proto geeks mining doge at the moment I'd be amazed. All the things we love about bitcoin apply in the playground - it's going to be the next wave of adoption.

how much is the network hashrate of doge now anyways ?

26.6 GH/s https://vircurex.com/

wow look at this

Litecoin : ~92 GH

Fathercoin ~ 6 GH

Dogecoin ~ 27 GH

the world is going crazy over this...

I will still ow you an apology if you prove me wrong, I have no problem admitting my weakness/mistakes if they are pointed out with a prove.

and BTW what is that proxy image thing !!?

Edit: my uploads has been deleted, I cant find them on imgur !!!

So what I say is a Screen shot or GTFO...

ok..

still don't see the trade history that reflects your post, having money sitting is something and showing that you are a "Pro trader" is another thing Wink , If you will convince me that you believe (and do) as you post, I will post an apology about the past few days (still doesnt mean I will agree with every post of yours)

and BTW, I dont daily trade because I am horrible trader, I managed to do few of good trades (being lucky) and so many bad trades....

Nice work @mmitech! Did something similar but with trading around 40btc... and when the crash was over I traded btc for ltc at ratio 0.02689, now is 0.03148 but I'm waiting for around 0.04 so I will get some extra btc without going to fiat  Smiley Pozdrav s Celja   Wink

Lep Pozdrav iz Kranja Wink

and still have some cash on stamp, I will make a deposit just in case bears go wild, although I dont see a major crash/dip that will open my appetite for investing more money...

So what I say is a Screen shot or GTFO...

Everyone knows my long term and mid term predictions, so it's time to reveal a short-term one: the market looks like it could crash imminently any time now.

I am still waiting for that crash.... how do you define now by a time frame, my English dictionary show this result :

1.
at the present time or moment: You are now using a dictionary.
2.
without further delay; immediately; at once: Either do it now or not at all.
3.
at this time or juncture in some period under consideration or in some course of proceedings described: The case was now ready for the jury.
4.
at the time or moment immediately past: I saw him just now on the street.
5.
in these present times; nowadays: Now you rarely see horse-drawn carriages.

even though that in physics "now" doesn't exist, so I guess you were referring to future ? any time stamp ? I will make sure I will buy some of your coins....
2450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 29, 2013, 11:37:36 AM
i think the (selling) volume will go up after 700 is down, 380 coins left

edit, okay now 429

you know that stamp doesn't move the market right ?

Edit: at least I cant remember when it did !!
2451  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 29, 2013, 11:29:25 AM
ofc one big reason in background is that this is probably bounce from the last big down move 1163 - 382, it's not likely that we could recover this fast, despite we're talking about bitcoin

the last day of the weekend, lets see what will happen till tomorrow, although I wont sell a single Bitcoin, I am sending more cash to Bitstamp so if this really happen I will be more than happy Smiley

by posting things like this it doesn't mean that people will sell their coins, a bear market to me means "buy" a bull market to means "sell", and BTW most people have learned to hold especially after the events of this year, so I think you will see more new cash coming in instead of people freaking out and selling, the week hands already sold....
2452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 29, 2013, 11:23:35 AM
all I see that bears talking about a drop/crash but no one states why, and please don't pull the "data from the last two crashes", because unless you compare the reasons of why they crashed the last two times with this time you are not going to convince me.

I can count dozen of reason of good news that might drive the price up, but I would like to know why it would drop to $450-500 ?

idk how low, but i have presented some numbers to back up further down move

- bid/ask ratio is down
- bid/ask ratio peaked at $764 stamp and trend is down
- a lot was sold yesterday, yet little was bought when we got back up
- important support ($700 stamp) was sold through
- price trend is down, lower high was $725 stamp
- there's no volume

calm before storm?

- bid/ask ratio is down  true
- bid/ask ratio peaked at $764 stamp and trend is down IDK
- a lot was sold yesterday, yet little was bought when we got back up , think about it, allot sold means allot bought....
- important support ($700 stamp) was sold through , I think there is still a fair support, but mybe a flash drop that will recover right away is also possible
- price trend is down, lower high was $725 stamp, still doesn't justify a drop to 500!
- there's no volume, I agree, but we are at a part of the year when this is normal

good morning, I was reading the last few pages, I've got the impression that something was happening last night, I went to check the price chart and cant see any major drop !!!

so are bears still talking about a dream or there is an actual fact will be leading the drop ?  the price seems to me somehow stable....

for the long term holders, I honestly don't think that the price will go 100x like it went this year, but 2-5x seems reasonable and achievable to me...

2455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 28, 2013, 10:24:53 PM
well I will threw my thoughts here.

someone pulling data from the 2011 crash and April 2013 crash and the price movements in between and trying to compare that data to today's market is just insane, the situation is all different, and for the sake of the argument just look at the time it took for a recover in 2011 and the time to recover from April 2013. one conclusion : people got educated about these crashes, so many people waiting for the same thing.... unless there will so bad news or some big fish decide to cash out we are watching a slow growth with some corrections in between ...  (not you rpietila, you are still a tiny fish for me a sardine as a single sardina in other word )

BTW a big fish will sell that amount of Bitcoin off the books Wink

Wake up to find no movement and 3 pages of butthurt people bashing on rpietila yet again.

That was me two years ago. People who makes waves, right or wrong get that sort of reaction. I like reading rpietila's posts as they are well thought out and are logical, even if I do not agree with them 100% of the time.

Would be a crazy "free market" if we all thought the same thing all the time.
but the last couple of days I have went down to a zero level because of few annoying posts, Mirsad being racist, and rpietila ...

Wow.. not putting mirsad on the ignore list, really?

yes I do not put people on ignore right away, they have to really piss me off...

I think you did not understand my input and I see that many other members didn't as well, his "predictions" reflect his points of view, I have to respect it even if I do not agree, I think we all agree on that, but being the "smart" trader who tells people "they should listen because he has more" and" rich people lime me" " market movers like me" " pro traders like me" " I am richer than you so you should #$%" this is unacceptable for me.

a person have to learn how to listen to opinions the same way he express opinions, we all had right and wrong calls, but we are not jerks and we don't trash people because we are rich, I don't see you doing this! as far as I know you are way richer than him in both Bitcoin and Litecoin.... so why don't you trash members ?

I have a real good time reading posts here, and I've learned allot from members here, Bitcoin became a real important part of my life, but the last couple of days I have went down to a zero level because of few annoying posts, Mirsad being racist, and rpietila ...

again if I was disrespectful to anyone of you for no reason, I apologize, my personality has a really limited tolerance when it comes to such things.

and can we please forget about all the above and just move on....

Read up on Schrödinger's Cat, it is a thought experiment in a similar vein, it will blow your mind Wink .

I am trying to understand the experiment but Quantum physic in general is one of the things that I want to spend more time to study ( try to understand ).... thank you for the link already bookmarked it to read the full article later.

this is a little off-topic, but physics is my thing, and i'd love to try to give a layman's interpretation of such a technical thought experiment Grin

the idea is that the classic notion of determinism, that one can use trajectory and velocity and momentum to determine the future state of a given system (similarly to how one judges and executes shots on a pool table), breaks down completely on small enough scales.

in pool each of the balls has a definite location. you can strike one, giving it a definite velocity in a definite direction and with practice pretty handily work backwards through the physics that governs the behavior of the balls and, remarkably consistently, make difficult shots.

if the pool table were the size of an atom, however, and the balls were subatomic particles, the game would be significantly harder. the early pioneers of quantum mechanics (quantum meaning "unit", like the indivisible subatomic particles) realized quickly that the smaller something is, the more strangely it behaved when they tried to "find" it -- that is, determine its location.

it turns out that nothing has a definite location, which is hard to wrap one's head around, but for small things at small scales it's very obvious and a whole new physics needed to be developed. when measuring an electron, for instance, its location seemed to correspond with the amplitude of a wave, with different probabilities of finding the particle in a certain location corresponding to the amplitude of the wave at different points. this, incidentally, is the basis of Schrodinger's Equation, which formalized de Broglie's work.

in the image i linked, the sharp and pointy distribution corresponds to a very massive thing, like a billiard-ball, whose location is much more definite than a very light thing, like an electron (lighter by about 30 orders of magnitude!), about which it isn't an exaggeration to say that it could be anywhere in the universe.

this brings us to the star of Schrodinger's thought experiment, a heavy atom undergoing radioactive decay. one of the insights that quantum mechanics gave us is an explanation of this strange phenomenon. some atoms, for reasons previously unknown, randomly and violently ejected bits of the nucleus from time to time. the strangest thing about this is that is is impossible to know exactly when this event would occur for a single atom, but groups of the same isotope always obey a half-life rule, such that after one half-life (a constant) for a given isotope has passed, exactly half of a given sample of isotope will have decayed.

sounds like quantum weirdness, doesn't it? that's because it is!

what's actually happening is that the particles in the nucleus suddenly find themselves outside of it and are ejected away by the electrostatic force that causes protons to repel each other. weird.

but this leaves us in a quagmire of conceptualization. is it really true that the deterministic world we perceive is really made up of unfathomable masses of fuzzy, random, indistinct processes?

Schrodinger tried to bridge the gap to demonstrate just how weird the implications of this are. if we arrange things so that the radioactive decay of an atom, for which it is literally impossible to know whether or not it has decayed after a certain time t, is tied to a mechanism that will kill a cat (why a cat? ask Schrodinger), then we end up in a situation in which the entire state of the box becomes quantumly uncertain. generally, we model this uncertainty on the subatomic scale as a superposition of every possibility, i.e. a probability curve, but it seems extremely counterintuitive to try to conceptualize the contents of the box as a superposition of live cat and dead cat (and if time t is the isotope's half-life, the chances are exactly 50-50!).

anyway, i hope you appreciated the explanation Wink i tried to give a complete picture of the conceptual underpinnings without going into too much detail. lots of good vocabulary to wiki for future inquiries, too!

--arepo

thank you very much for the effort, I realy like how you tried to keep it as simple as it can be, you must be a teacher ?  it is not my domain of work but I remember studying Structure of materials at university, and it was a hell of fun, but since then I didn't read any relatedcscience articles or magazines, I would love to make sometime to educate my self..

maybe spending less time on these forum and stop reading some worthless posts and trolls will spare me the time to do so Smiley
