No, i am 27, why?
Because you probably didn't see the big picture of bitcoin and the financial world. You were probably just in it for a quick buck and bought into the hype. Too bad you did get burnt, but i tell you this is a time to buy not to sell.

I am here for the buck as well Cheesy well 80% for the buck 10% for experimenting and 10% for the sake of this innovation.... you would be delusional if you would think that I would invest my money knowing that I will lose it.

some of you needs to stop being fanatics and grow up.

Edit: and don't fucking tell me "you are greedy, you don't believe in bitcoin you....." because I resigned my fucking job for this sake...

Bitstamp volume: 5100BTC I wont even mention other exchanges because they have even shameful volumes...

I think there is something fishy going on at Bitmine, I don't know what kind of a deal Cryptx have with Bitmine regarding the delayed Hardware and if there will be compensation and how much it will be.

but something is wrong at Bitmine and I don't know what the exact story is, they are not speaking and they are taking the easy way of things, I also find the way they've changed their attitude toward customers (now they are being all sweet and nice) really suspicious, although the timing is kind of funny, now that most people didn't receive their hardware, they  are entitled to a refund based on the TOS agreed on at the purchase. (60 days delay equal a refund + 10% penalty) for those who paid with BTC back at November/December it makes perfect sense to ask for a refund, you would get more BTC than you paid, these machines wouldn't ROI anyways. so there is that.

I just find it really strange that Chinese copies of the based A1 chip rigs are going on a really worrying rate (not to mention the price) while Bitmine fails to deliver the simplest orders and fail to even have a working Rig design.

I think this is why the share price is going down, people are are afraid about the worst scenario, it is humans being humans, usually the price would go back when there is a clear picture of the situation (or drop forward if the news is bad).

Also, some of you think that I have open orders to buy in, well I have no orders and I am not buying neither am selling, at the moment I am playing around with some LTC... so here you have it.  Wink

LTC/BTC looks attractive at the moment on BTCe?

Is this a question for a financial opinion ? well, if you think it is good buy but if my opinion matters to you, then I can tell you that if LTC will behave to BTC moves then if the price goes up, you will have the same LTC, if the price goes down and you will still have the same LTC, LTC/BTC is not a so good trading option, it is only good if you think that LTC will outcome BTC trend and behave differently at a time  when Bitcoin is going up/down... it does happen but not very often.

I love how this thread go quiet on weekends but the soon there is a price action all users jump in and start writing pages of new posts in a matter of few minutes... "CCMF" or "I see blood on streets" pictures of asses and trains and moons; to the point that you cant keep up with posts.

now back to topic, the market is very calm, Bitstamp is showing 6KBTC volume, hardly any trade is happening, it feels like the calm before the storm, what direction will it be ? although Adam's poll show about 38.8% of speculators that think the price will be around $450, what this means to me  (if I can change this numbers to words) is most of voters didn't yet sell or buy and the majority is holding...

Nice, if I have to predict anything ( prediction pulled out of my ass), not that I have any knowledge especially when the market is this calm, and just by looking to the Bid sum, any smart "whale" wouldn't buy of this thin ASK book order ... I mean 20K to $1000 !!!  I know that most people doesn't keep coins on exchanges and the soon there will be an action many traders will be sending the coins there and dumping. but I have a theory, if I was a big whale and thought about buying a large sums of BTC, one way I would take is to dump and trigger panic so people would 1) either dump in to my walls 2) start building the sell orders so I can later buy into them.

So my theory is, in order that Bitcoin rise it has to go down first, and we've seen that happen all the time, so based on all the above, I say the price will drop before we go up.

The price has already dropped from 1200 to 400... What do you expect? A drop to the 200? 100? 10? Do you know how many Bitcoins where for sale only on Gox the las april buble? I can tell you...  Almost 300000... How many are now for sale at stamp? 40000?  This only data is enought to see that the next bubble whould be of epic proportions, there's just not enought btc for all.

Now when you see that ultrabulls are turning bears you know its time to buy back.

when did you buy your first Bitcoin, I mean at what price ?
1609  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 05, 2014, 03:16:19 PM
pathetic volume is what i want to see right now....

bitcoin market is 24/7 its nice to have some periods with less action... theres nothing wrong with not dumping a shit ton of fiat or btc right now.

nothing is gonna happen in 2 hours, because of some imagine triangle.

go have a life poeple, nothing to see here.

Adam, ok lets start with you first  Cheesy

anyone of you here know where the heck these Chinese are getting this A1 chip based rminers ? they seem to be shipping from stock, a miner of 1Th/s cost less than $3K just when Bitmine are having huge problems !!!!

what the heck is going on at Bitmine? do anyone know what is really going on ? is it a problem with getting the chip?

at bitmine thread they seem to ignore answering these important questions... so Cryptx do you know anything about this ?
1613  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2014, 10:59:10 PM
I think Bitcoin spoiled most of us, you all want Bitcoin to go to $5000 in a couple of days and you want it to keep going up all the time non stop without correcting. some of you are familiar with stock markets and investment schemes in general, can you point an investment that paid off the same way Bitcoin did the last 5 years ? at least point me to any stock out there that is that volatile which allow traders to make huge profits the same way we do with Bitcoin?

well, I dont think so, and wait when wall street joins, we will see about this volatility and the trading opportunities, complaining much about market manipulation and insider trading ? wallstreet will show you waht is the real of that, they will fuck us all the way up and down, we will all learn just to hold if we are lucky  Cheesy
1614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2014, 10:25:47 PM
to be honest, I am at a point where I am not sure anymore if to be a bull or a bear.... the market is just confusing me, the thin order book and the tiny actions going on makes the possibility of going up or going down almost the same... so if you know more beat me to it.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2014, 06:35:11 PM
Adam you have a power that you are not using wisely, the poll over there if used correctly with some good questions could be really helpful with understanding many things about Bitcoin speculators, people pay real money to use that data, but there you go posting hodl and buy buy buy and sell sell.....

try to use it wisely, if not for your self than for others...
1616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 04, 2014, 06:31:19 PM
see why I am starting to hate the whole scene, please Bitcoin do it already.... drop or rise so we can have some peace...

Fundamental indicators? number of transactions has turned south for the first time since December.

That happened in June-July 2013 too. Not sure if still dropping or not though

Also number of unique bitcoin addresses used (that has to do with Metcalfe's law) is dropping:

But the worst of all is the estimated USD transaction volume:

yes, I think Litecoin is taking some of the lost Bitcoin transactions, I am watching over the last few months and it has been growing every day, even the trading volume beats Bitcoin's one

True, but I've also noticed that Litecoin is getting worth less compared to Bitcoin. It used to be around 0.027 all the time, now it's more like 0.025 (barely). As a holder of Litecoins, this does worry me to some extent. I feel tempted to just take my losses (I'm down about 20%), but at the same time I have a very 'fuck it' attitude and therefore I'm gonna wait until after the 15th of April. Let's see what the future brings. If it starts rising significantly again, or even better, if the much cheaper Litecoin decouples from the chains of Bitcoin, then I might hold on to my Litecoins. If that change isn't coming, then I'll try to cash out at the best moment possible.

Litecoin price always lags against Bitcoin's price (when going up), I also hold more value in Litecoin than in Bitcoin, but I am not going to cash out anything now, especially that ASICs are hitting the network and the adoption rate is accelerating in unbelievable way.

if I am going to cash any Litecoin it will be around mid-end year ...
