Is anyone betting on the Tennis is Newport USA? Andy Murray is in the quarter finals and faces Bublik tomorrow.
I generally follow tennis fairly closely, but I often seem to lose interest a bit straight after slams. I've been half following Newark, but not betting on it, no. Was surprised to see FAA going out, which does leave Murray's half a little open... but I'm not sure how far he'll get, it's the consecutive matches in a short space of time that's tough for him. Yea I know, its like an anti-climax when the GS finishes. I've done a few half hearted bets on Newport to no avail. I wanted to make a bet on either Murray to win or a handicap on Bublik but both are dodgy bets I think. I never bet for or against Bublik, he is very unpredictable and yes the more matches Murray plays the more beatable he becomes. I have Cerundolo to beat Karatsev in Sweden, again the matches there are potential close affairs so hard for me to bet.

America have got its own policy in covid prevention measures. The thing is being with fame, Djokovic could've dealt this in a very smooth manner than struggling this hard. Because, in my country people have got covid vaccination certificate but they aren't vaccinated. Djokovic could've done it, if so such a trouble of missing few important matches might've not taken place.
Djokovic could have gotten a paper easily in Serbia that he was vaccinated but he has his standards and dosent want to be fake. He is against covid since day one and will be probobly until the last day. So he wont ever get vaccinated so we hope that the US will allow him to play. He is t going to get vaccinated, if he hasnt got vaccinated after all the issues and hassle by now he never will. Is anyone betting on the Tennis is Newport USA? Andy Murray is in the quarter finals and faces Bublik tomorrow. Or the Sweden open? Rublev, Thiem, Carreno Busta and Schwartzman through to the quarters there. Schwartzman plays Carreno Busta, Thiem plays Baez and Rublev plays Djere, all close matches I think. Cerundolo plays Karatsev and Cerundolo beat Ruud yesterday.

From that article it does sound like a classic. I read a few opinions online before the game which all fancied a Blues win so I followed what they tipped and went against Queensland..
You're definitely camping in the yard when you come for the Olympics and or the World Cup! Ha ha! I might not go at all, there might be a target on me for backing the Blues!

Yes some history about Bitcoin and its leading figures would surely be interesting to the students particularly the mystery of Satoshi and the Bitcoin wallets left abandonned.
Mostly if OP can show them how to make pocket income from signature campaign and can hook them in the forum. Maybe they will then talk to their parents and they will find it interesting. An educated parent can teach their children better than anyone else. I would prefer to see these kids are growing up with the dream that they will someday work and get paid in crypto or they will have a business to accept payment/service charge in crypto. Yea I agree, essentially what the OP is doing is planting Bitcoin seeds which will germinate later on, some wont and some will take longer than others. Thats all any of us can do when introducing others to Bitcoin. Maybe thats something for Pokapoka124 to expand on, introduce the parents to Bitcoin also?

It's a weird situation as Covid is obviously going to continue for a while, so likely no Djokovic at next year's AO either. And I can't see Russia pulling out of Ukraine or Wimbledon backing down any time soon, so a decent chance of no Medvedev at Wimbledon 23... which leaves the French Open as the only slam where all the top players can play and the field isn't weakened in some way. It's quite bizarre.
Yea its strange, COVID still at this stage is causing problems in Tennis and Russia is creating problems too in Tennis. Thats a good point actually that the French open was the only slam where there were no restrictions and yea COVID is still around but not as potent and Russia are not going to pull out of Ukraine too soon, 2023 will be as it is now in terms of Tennis tournaments.

Yea absolutely, picking a future block and the last two numbers of the hash is a tried, tested and transparent way of picking a winner, thats how its done. No need for pieces of paper in a bag or anything like that! . . . so everyone bar none will look for a block number.
There is the other issue which I have highlighted before of the #62 with my misspelled name as my "second choice" which if drawn as the winner I cannot accept.

It would be ideal for the students to see some Satoshi's appear in their wallet and then to be able to send further on to one of their fellow's addresses. I wonder would many people donate a small amount of Satoshi's to your address, if a lot of people gave a little it would accumulate to something you could work with? My only regret is the students didn't have the opportunity to o perform a real transaction with their new Bitcoin wallets. Unfortunately I don't have enough bitcoins to splash for them to practice how to send/receive Bitcoin.
Nothing to regret. You gave them a start now they will drive their car. It needs interest too. Keep feeding them with interesting events of Bitcoins like Bitcoin Pizza. History of bitcoin. Introduce them legends like Hal finny, satoshi. Give them idea how to earn bitcoin by working for it, how it's easy to send money to others to any corner of the world, how can they cash out to fiat etc. Give them the idea that Bitcoin is the future money or at-least an asset that store better value than gold and property. "bitcoins" Is Financial Freedom. I wish all these bitcoiners best of luck and looking forward to see their existence on the forum. Yes some history about Bitcoin and its leading figures would surely be interesting to the students particularly the mystery of Satoshi and the Bitcoin wallets left abandonned.

The rule for entry will certainly not be changed. So if he is not vaccinated he will not be able to enter and therefore not be able to play. Maybe if he will get vaccinated soon, he would be able to. But there are a few weeks between the day of vaccination and full protection and I do not know what the rules are about that in the USA.
I don't think he will get vaccinated at this point. He has been reluctant from the scratch and avoided at all cost any dialogue on that argument. I think it's more plausible an exemption from USA rules but also in this case it's something impossible... let's see another drama like AUS? mmm I hope no Unlikely though, I don't think US will give him the exemption he needed to enter just to compete. And I think it still remains, no vaccine no entry, unless they have a new policy. As for him getting vaccinated? no, he has stood his ground same with some sports athlete like Kyrie Irving of the Nets in the NBA. But he might have to suffer the consequences, or the rest of the athletes who doesn't want to get vaccinated. Ah no, he isnt going to get vaccinated, especially now after going so far without and missing the AO and also now when the virus is less potent than before. Also like so many have said its hard to see the US giving an exemption or lifting their ban on unvaccinated.

Yes its a great initiative by Agbe.
To use earnings to directly help a local community and teach the younger generation about Bitcoin is very generous with time and funds.
I remember the original thread and it got a lot of interest. The laptop will transform the learning for the class.

Rugby UnionI had Australia and Ireland. On Irelands win again I learned that the win last weekend was a record breaker! we never beat NZ before this in NZ, we have beaten them in Ireland and in the USA! As for the final test in this series I really dont know who to pick from the various games.
Rugby League Australia
I' m going with two bets this week, Storm ML 0.08mBTC @ 1.43 and Rabbitohs ML 0.09mBTC @ 1.56
In the NRL I had 1 win and 1 loss. For the State of Origin game 3 I think I'll be going with NSW, I'll try and do some catching up on some news and what some pundits are saying .

It seems that age has finaly caught up to wawrinka four consecutive losses for him and the last one was today against careno busta, but he was unlucky he faced tough opponents as soon as he was back in form i hope he can recover soon and continue to play tennis atleast for a few more years.
His 3rd loss in the row and he'd always had a tough opponent to play against. So, nothing to generate momentum or give him confidence to keep going. The injuries had kept him out from tennis for a while. He did beat Tiafoe, Opelka and Djere this year though. The first 2 are pretty high quality opponents. 3 wins and 9 losses from what I can see this year. Ah I always liked Wawrinka, to me he always conducted himself well on court and His one handed back hand was fantastic to watch. He has had a tough draw since coming back with a number of first round losses against tough opponents. We should also consider he is 37 years old, older than Rafa so he is in the twilight of his career.

Mine arrived today also, thank you very much AGNFAB. They were mailed in a cardboard mailer but somewhere along the journey it took a bit of a bend.
Anyway the prints are great, very vibrant colours and love the designs. Thanks for the bonus too!

I wrote a long time ago that I am surprised by people who complain about "losses" in gambling. Similarly, we "lose" money when we go to the cinema to watch a movie or to a restaurant to drink wine at a price of x5 of the usual price. This is the entertainment fee. And most people, in my opinion, understand this well, and those who try to make a profit out of entertainment get mostly only disappointment.
These are players who are thinking to win and try to challenge the house edge, losing in gambling is inevitable you're naive if you think losing is not normal the key is how to take your losses and feel the fun and excitement in playing, if you get depressed playing then you have the wrong idea and mindset. You're already a winner if you win or lose then have fun and you can log out and say wow what a game that's exciting Yes, Its about having the right mindset, treating gambling as a form of entertainment is healthier than using it in a serious way to earn money, professional gambling aside, I'm referring to casual gambling. People who gamble for entertainment are those who have lots of allocated funds for it and are not afraid to lose it. Some gamblers seek comfort from gambling and we can't question them for that. We all have our own reasons to gamble but honestly, most of us gamble because of the hope of hitting the jackpot and making money. We see gamble in different ways.
Dont forget anyone can fund their gambling wallet with as much or as little as they can afford or are willing to lose. Not all gambling has to be a problem.

Yea, it's fun losing money If you would like to say it that way. I would rather spend those bills with my friends and family actually enjoying something in real life. Imagine being a loner and losing thousands and didn't even tell anyone bout it, no flex I would say.
There are some people I guess who gamble with friends and family and get a lot of fun and entertainment from it. But yea its a very fine line between entertainment and being totally ruined. Entertainment is a very general topic, people spend vast amounts of money on hobbies all for the sake of entertainment so why not Gambling? Gambling does have a stigma attached to it but it anyone can manage the expectations, the mentality and possible addiction then why not.

What a game that was djokovic as always losing the first set and then coming back strong but that last set was really tough it couldve gone either way, kyrgios has a real talent and he is still young if he drop the clown act and become more focused he will be one of the top players.
That is his trademark one, losing the first set and then coming back in the second to win and didn't give a chance against any of his opponents. Nothing that Kyrgios can do on Djokovic's form, sure he had some good games in the tournament. But we all know that Djokovic is very different in a finals so it's hard to beat him specially in this kind of surface. So let's see if Kyrgios can continue with this momentum in his career, and compete at high level. Yes betting on a 1st set loss with Djokovic is a given, it seems his opponents come out with their game plan and after Djokovic is able to fiqure it out and counteract it that is where he takes over, it can take him 1 or 2 sets to do it. Kyrgios has said himself, he doesnt play a full Tennis schedule and doesnt have a coach but yes hopefully he can compete at the higher levels, he is very entertaining and I'm sure more people tuned in to the match yesterday because he was playing.

I think we were all surprised with our interested teams results, some good in the case of New Zealand 12 - Ireland 23, South Africa 12 - 13 Wales, Australia 17 - 25 England, Argentina 9 - 29 Scotland, Japan 15 - 20 France. Thats all visiting teams winning their second games.
I totaly thought as was the general cvonsensus here that NZ would win again to close out the series.
Wales to win away to SA is massive too, again probably an unexpected win.
And England to beat Australia was something I really thought would happen in te first game and the way some of the pundits were talking England had "a lot" of work to do to improve for this second game.

Man what a battle. Going to have to tear away to deal with real life but hope Nick pulls off the 4th set to take it all the way. Should end up with a small profit regardless of result, hedged all the way. Live odds weren't as interesting as I imagined. Bookies refused to budge on Djokovic despite the Aussie's serve masterclass in set 1.
I took Djokovic in third set @1.37, it was to obvious that he is going to win, and not that bad odd after first set it seemed that Kyrgios is having some chance to make it more interesting, but you could seen that he is going down in second set, and while playing solid in third, it was already over as I often say, even after winning two sets in best-of-5, you have to get another set from 0:0, and that is hard as hell against Djokovic and Nadal Kyrgios was really focussed in the first set and won, he let the pressure get to him and was ranting at his support box throughout those two sets. He got focussed in the 4th set and managed to bring it to a tie break but the damage was done in the 2nd and 3rd sets which was a pity. Djokovic was really business like, well done to him. I thought Tennis wise there wasnt actually a whole pile of difference between them but mentally there was a massive gap overall.

Surprised no one mentioned Pascal Boyart yet. His Hal Finney art made up of torn-up dollar bills is one of the most iconic Bitcoin-related art in my opinion.
I've known this guy years ago when his art went viral. IIRC, that was the mural with some prizes and code in it. CMIIW. He's also my favorite artist that creates arts related to bitcoin/crypto. I actually came across Pascal Boyart's work as one of his murals and how he has painted a QR code to his address for donations, that was a few years ago but I never followed on to seek him out for his other works.
Has anyone heard of Nelly Baksht? She has quite a big catalogue of Crypto Art with a lot of limited edition prints currently for sale. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-j6eCnoahdGk%2FYsrwg1LxY1I%2FAAAAAAAABEM%2F-miC3YiPiVEgeDPeNus1Wwh9hi43nI64QCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1657467009192957-2.png&t=663&c=08TsCsoxRLDhfQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-xo7FOOQPPfM%2FYsrwhoxoSBI%2FAAAAAAAABEQ%2F4mIIk3CL1wUs9SNhldJN98fBQJo1NyD6wCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1657467012168914-1.png&t=663&c=fTIP-hBC518bIw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-FfI0XglYDjk%2FYsrwiUrGU6I%2FAAAAAAAABEU%2FK092Eb51f_0Q87lm9V4Y7yVnYK96ayM5gCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1657467014983648-0.png&t=663&c=-gdrxlFfX-yGsg)
