On that note....I would llke pay 30 DASH for someone to post a detailed chart/showing a complete development history of DASH and what Evan has done vs Monero and Smooths work....side by side.
Lets put this in black in white and see who's going what...I'm assuming that monero has github history of their full development? Lets break this down for everyone.

Facts...
Several Bitcoin investors in BC(British Columbia) including myself bought a 10's of thousands of DASH in those first few weeks. As part of a larger group of other investors, we voted to not relaunch. I, was a member group of majority holders, as I've sold some over the last year. Many others have since bought in. So what is your point? It's a dead horse smooth! Dead... Done, so you guys can now move on to something people can actually benefit from like breaking our anon code. |

I finally got everything out, but it took three withdrawals. Got a PM from another member saying he's been having the same problems and not to put more on Cryptsy than I could stand to lose. Definitely doesn't fill me with confidence. Has anyone reached out to Big Vern for comment? |

How is mining on windows 10,any speed improvements?  I am still doing 1 system with a 8 core doing cpu mining + 1 GPU card on windows 10, just for the hell of it. Didn't notice any difference between Win 7, Win 8.1 or Win 10 other then i had instability issues with Win 8.1. |

Evan wanted to relaunch, the community said NO ... For more than a year now, and official statement has bee issued. From March 29 2014 https://dashtalk.org/threads/the-birth-of-darkcoin.162/ Launch It was January 18, 2014 and I had everything ready or so I thought. I announced the launch of Darkcoin (XCoin at the time) on BitcoinTalk. We launched later and immediately got stuck on block 42, I was new to the Bitcoin codebase and wasn’t sure what I missed so I announced we’d relaunch later. When we relaunched we had a rush of miners join causing a huge spike of coin production without it being able to adjust the difficulty quick enough, we just ended up spilling out coins. Retargeting happened every 576 blocks and could only increase the difficulty by four times, so it took about six retargets to get to a difficulty that was near 2.5 minutes per block. Later on, after the difficulty evened out we realized that there was a serious problem with the block reward calculation. At that point we didn’t even have a block explorer yet. Growth Right after block 4500 is when I started working on DarkSend. Later on we switched to 11111.0 / ((Difficulty+51.0)/6.0)^2), these formulas proved to be much more powerful incentives to drive up the difficulty than I thought they would. Soon after we switched to (2222222.0 / ((Difficulty+2600.0)/9.0)^2.0), targeting a difficulty of about 3400. In the end? Darkcoin started from a few months of me thinking about ways to create a better coin and a couple weekends of coding. It wasn’t till later that we got established and I really started taking this seriously. Anyone can compare our recent efforts to the sorted past and see things are going much smoother. No one really knew how much this would blow up (in a good way) and how popular it would be, otherwise I would have took my time in the beginning. But hey, sure, keep at it. No one is nauseated yet. Great post G. I was there and remembered phoning a buddy of mine about x coin /darkcoin immediately upon the xcoin/darkcoin announcement. What a stroke of very good luck for some of us in the beginning. I was new to all this, other then investing in Bitcoin and was snooping around this forum when I stumbled upon Evans post first starting this thread... What struck me immediately was the difference between devs of the other alt coins and darkcoin was that Evan posted his real name and bio right off the the bat. This was what triggered the thought that I was dealing with something special... Someone willing to not hide behind some handle or faceless "dev" but willing to stick his neck out and be accountable. Something that still to this day is not done with the majority of alt coins. We(my friends and i) missed the first few hours of mining as we were struggling to get our Miners together to take part. I had only managed 4 desktop computers mining. I remember those first couple weeks of the excitement of knowing we had stumbled on something special... And what a ride this has been... And what amazing development from those humble beginnings. Great times and no matter what ANY ONE troll says... This has the most promise of any of the majority of alt coins. I view crypto As a hobby, I come here as an enthusiast to learn and in the process make a few bucks and diversify some of my investments and someday say that I was part of a disruptor technology. Certainly, for me I take this banter with a grain of salt and with mild amusement. Others apparently not and that's a shame.
But there are others that this is their job and lively hood and I respect that this is not "all fun in games". I would say that one needs not look further then the actions, demeanour and professionalism on any projects management and developers to get a sense of worth.
I speak for myself only... But thanks DASH Dev team for being just such a team. V12 is proof of your unwavering commitment to raising the bar and the mark other devs will be held too.
