Beta release of POLYSHIELD is very close, at which point we will be pushing that towards the masses, we shoot for top notch services with long-lived lifespans.


The pool has been taking up some time recently with attacks and nonsense, but we're moving along nicely on the POLYSHIELD beta. There is a group of closed beta testers testing it now, and we have a lot working.


We believe this service alone will bring a lot of interest in POLY and support the markets at the same time. All the rewards from users who choose to do so, running through POLY on the buy side will support buy support and price eventually.


The plans we have are all long-term. We are long into crypto ourselves, and have no need for pump and dump nonsense that is going on. The same reason we have decided to wait on the MasterNode implementation of POLY itself.



We have communications with a few different people who are ready and willing to promote POLYSHIELD once it is ready, and will be getting POLY listed on EasyDEX as well. Things are moving along... albeit a bit slower than we had hoped, but no big deal, everything still moving and will be completed in due time.


By no means is POLY dead, in fact, I'd say it hasn't even really come to life yet, but should be VERY SOON. Be prepared, and grab what you can at these low prices, because I'm certain they aren't to last long.

Also, we DO have marketing plans for the coin, but we're working on getting out a few solid services before we hit marketing hard. Yes, we are definitely a team full of tech-minded people and devs, but we do also have connections with networkers and marketers and that portion WILL come, but we think that having things a bit more setup BEFORE doing that makes more sense than doing what these other projects have been lately, which is a ton of promotion for things that never end up becoming real.

We prefer to do things differently. We prefer to build before we talk about it, and we prefer to market once things are done, as opposed to marketing ideas that have yet to be built.

Public perception is one thing yes. The other is the fact that we are working on a lot BEFORE we go hard on public perception.

I find this project's mining concept interesting. I just want to know how long you'll actually keep up on changing the algo. Stick around and I think it'll be very interesting. I've mined myself a nice stack so far and am continuing to do so just in case.

Make sure you put the releases on github as well, please. Also, if you could update the main post and state 'there's an update!' so people glancing to check can see status quickly, that would be great!

edit -- Strange things seem to happen even when not resync'ing from scratch... Two of my systems upon restarting and being a few days behind, seem to both slowly catch up at the same time. I think potentially a few more core nodes on the network could fix your problem.

Indeed, well, in my personal opinion, this is what happens when you attempt to build a platform in the 'correct' way. First building the team, then having a goal, accomplishing it, presenting it, getting the community to see it... THEN moving on with more ideas.

I think that is probably at least one of the reasons that this community has continued to 'stick around'. (Though personally, I vastly prefer the idea that people believe that we not only have the team, but the will to make this project become what it can be. That sounds like a cool way to think.)

I have reached out to many exchanges, and have struck a potential partnership (we are about 95% sure at this point) with EasyDEX (New DEX built on top of Bitshares, similar to Crypto-Bridge and OpenLedger, but with easier to use UI and more features.)

I am hesitant to be listed on centralized exchanges, but will consider it if the opportunity presents itself on one that I believe will not be a scam in the future. Polo I don't like how they acted previously, however now that they're under new management I may consider asking them to re-list. Though I'm not 100% on that.

The main goal will be to have a DEX built ON QORA, that way QORA is totally independent of any exchange. There are a few ways to accomplish this that I have presented in idea form to the development internal chat on Discord.



I have setup a new permissions set in the QORA Discord, that will allow 'contributors' to see the internal development chat so that they know exactly what is being done on the project they decided to contribute to. If you would like to be a contributor, simply reach out to me on Discord and we can make that happen.

Cat is making amazing progress on the overall development, and I believe we have decided on what is necessary for the rebirth launch of Gen 1 and what will be moved on to Gen 2 development. At this point we're awaiting the UI to have some final completion on certain aspects prior to relaunching Gen 1. (I say 'relaunching' because it'll be the 'official' rebirth of the platform, since obviously the wallet is stable now and fully usable, Gen 1 rebirth will have the new Web UI with many beautiful enhancements, and a few other additions on top of the obvious stability of the db now and stability overall.)

There will be instruction on how to setup DNS to route to QORA hosted websites, more information on how exactly to setup a QORA website, and hopefully an overall increase in the simplicity of doing so. The new UI is very beautiful, will eventually have full replacement for the QORA AE, making it fully functional 'traditional' looking exchange, with charts, asks and bids, etc. It will be a sight that's for sure, I'm excited about it.



The improvements in Gen 2 will be incredible, and numerous. There is talk of SSL support, CNAME support, and even server side language and functionality support for QORA hosted websites. There will be incentivized content for Bloggers, and a totally new rewards system for a totally new MasterNode system, with proof of burn style mining, levelling system, and a system for multiple 'levels' of MasterNodes as well. The MasterNodes will have data storage functionality, and the QORA chain will be split into two chains, one storing transactional information, and another storing data. The transactional chain will also store hashes of the data. Data will be fully encrypted and compressed to ensure full use of the space, which could open itself up for an addition of a 'proof of storage' type algo to be involved in the mining.

The overall goal, will be to have the mining be possible on any device, truly. Not limited to high powered farms, etc. Also, the idea is that the higher level you get your account, the more influence and easier time mining your account has. This will open itself up for a truly fair voting system by way of the accounts that have put time and effort into levelling (burning their mined coins and putting out good content) and have exponentially lowered mining difficulty, are more than likely to be people. Especially once they get to the higher levels. As it simply will make no sense to mine on multiple accounts as a single person, less you're ONLY attempting to skew the metrics of the 'users' count... Which to me doesn't seem all that likely. It could actually end up with a truly fair and truly anonymous REAL voting system, that eventually could even be used to elect officials, etc. There could also end up being an 'ID' system tied to it for the people who decide that they'd like to use it that way. The posibilities are truly endless.

Generation 2 of QORA is going to be unlike anything anyone has ever seen before, truly incredible and one of a kind. I for one am very excited about it. There are multiple brand new ideas being implemented and created by the team, and built by our amazing developers. I think it will be a fun and exciting platform for people to not only make some extra money with, but build up and have fun making their accounts have more influence, make money putting good content on the network, and potentially even make money spotting bad content... I've been trying to figure out a way to make a system like that, where people who reported content that is agreed not something that the network would like to see on it, could be rewarded. But this requires some more thinking for sure.

Anyway, just wanted to come in and put up some more information for people, and explain the current situation. Things will be exciting to see as developments progress. It's an exciting time for QORA and crypto overall, and hopefully one where a lot of the scams will disappear, and solid projects like QORA will take their place and improve upon them.

This is correct exactly. POLY's focus is on long-term stability, growth naturally, stable and solid.

The price IS low, but that's GOOD! That means that all the people now have a chance to get into the coin at these low prices, and ride it up as it grows when POLYSHIELD beta is released and beyond.


I did a comparison to OPCoin recently in Discord, showing the 1.7+ billion circulation of OPCoin VS the 26+ million POLY, and that both coins have similar prices. The low price of poly is merely it being very under-valued. It is a chance for everyone to scoop up low priced coins that they know will have a solid future.

I for one, am in the process of buying as many as I can.

What I do know is...

Obviously there was some anxious mining power awaiting use, otherwise why sit there?

People like community coins, and if this turns out to be otherwise and some ruse, then it will be figured out.

But for now, I think it has seemed pretty good, and we'll see how things progress.


Everything at the beginning has a few things that aren't 'ideal' 100%, such was the case with quite a few projects. What matters more is how they continue, what they do from this point, and what they make of the project.

I think it is definitely better done than most of the recent Masternode from start coins I've seen, but honestly there is no real way to tell 100% until we continue to see how things move forward.




On a side note... cryptopool.party has hit its first block, BRING ON THE HOARD OF MINERS! 0.1% fee is I'm sure less than almost everyone. I'm also sure that not many people have load-balanced redundant stratum servers.

Also, to the 'scam' comment above... you do realize that no matter WHEN a coin is launched, it is always during the time when SOMEONE is asleep... yes? haha... people who say stuff of this manner are quite interesting in their thought process.


This coin did its best to launch totally fair, it is something that is very difficult to fully accomplish, and you will never make EVERYONE happy. But they did their best and I applaud that.

It is potentially possible for that to happen, as I work closely with quite a few of the people in RVN, and know a whole lot more outside of it. But the whole point of both of the projects is to be community developed.


The thing that people may not realize, is that there are a lot of things being built that just aren't being yelled about for POLY, it's a sleeping giant. Once it starts catching on, it is going to be quite fun.

unfortunately the SGminer original source was lost during a computer crash of the dev. We will look into having that rebuilt in the near future, and providing the source and compilation methods. I am also willing to put up a bounty for another AMD open-source miner to be created.


I will check my files to make sure I don't have a copy of the source somewhere from early days, but I am fairly sure that I do not.


It shouldn't be too difficult for an experienced miner dev to create a better AMD miner for polytimos algo.


I will reach out to a few people I know and see what I can come up with.

If you're talking about the shared MasterNode service, you can input any amount you choose on the given suggested node coins the service is planning on running.

If you're talking about POLY directly, it's not yet active on MasterNodes itself, right now it is pure POW, it will have MasterNodes implemented upon the POS implementation at block 800k. So you still have some time.


POLY is a long term project, meant to last a long time and be a 'retirement account' backed by services that use the coin and help the market. It really is a cool idea. Also, as it will mention in the Whitepaper that is being written by the team, in the future, POLY is planning to have some sort of collaboration with QORA, my main project that can do decentralized web hosting, blogs, real time communications, and much more. So, gonna be pretty interesting. In my opinion POLY really is a hidden gem.

QrowdFund (or Qrowd as I'm going to have it renamed to - 'come join the Qrowd!' is catchy ) - is a fully decentralized automated CrowdFunding platform built on QORA, which you can see here in its alpha stages built a long time ago... http://node4.qora.org:9090/qrowdfund



It is built using CIYAM SmartContract system built in QORA. It allows users to...

1. Post a project or idea they would like to have funded.

2. Post the amount they would need.

3. This creates a SmartContract running on top of QORA which owns the private keys to the wallet that the donations go to.

4. This SmartContract then either executes a payment to the starter if it gets fulfilled on the amount, or it REFUNDS ALL DONATORS AUTOMATICALLY, if the asked for amount is not reached.


I think this is a great starting 'main application' and will get a lot of use, no one else in the space has anything fully like it yet.
