A kad smo svi vec veterani ovdje pa se ni ne uzbudjujemo kad BTC dodje do novog ATH. Ista situacija je i Tg grupama u kojima obitavam sa frendovima, svi se ponasaju kao smo i dalje usred beara, nema uzjebanosti. Ocekujem da se to promjeni kad se prijedje psiholoska granica od $100k. Pa zar nije novi ath oko 75-76k zbog inflacije?
A mislim da nitko ne racuna ATH na takav nacin (bar ja nisam cuo) iako u biti i nije pogresan jer sa 1 BTC danas kad je ~67k mozes kupiti manje nego sa 1 BTC krajem 2021 kad je zadnji put bio na ovim razinama. |

Usually most of my friend store their seed phrase on google drive beside have save it before on computer or their mobile phone I sure hope that you explained your friends how dangerous that method of saving is and that they are really testing their luck. But storing seed phrase on flash drive give us more secure assets That is also not a good way to store your seed phrase as every time you insert USB into a PC with (most likely) internet conenction, you are exposing it as I seriously doubt that many people have air gapped PC just for those ocassions. |

I don't remember if I closed my old account, but I think I never used it and I didn't receive any email about this. I guess you closed it, or maybe you withdrew all you had since you didn't get any emails about it. I haven't used Bittrex since late 2017 /early 2018 and I was very surprised when last summer I received reminder email from them. And since then I've been receing them every few months, reminding me to withdraw that ~$1 i have there. |

Merit is adjusted when there is a major drop in the amount of meeit shared, not just because "new people" keep coming in as even more people are leaving/being less active. For example, in 2023 total number of posts dropped by almost 30% compared to the year before, while number of merit shared remained pretty much the same, which means its even easier than before to get merit.
The only time when theymos adjust this is when he notices major drop in the amount of merit shared and that number has been pretty consistent for the last few years.

The way you oversimmplified things, I don't think that you know what you are talking about and mostb likely you end up "selling low buying high" instead the opposite. If things were so easy as you explained, then majorify of traders woiuld be in profit while in fact only a small percnetage of them are actually successfull in the long run. Sure, you may get lucky and sell few times at the top and buy at the bottom, but its much harder to do that in the long run and end up net positive. |

What is your one primary reason to keep investing in BTC even at these levels. Because there will be almost certainly many more new all time highs, as simple as that. In times like this when Bitcoin is pumping and everyone is expecting correction, DCA makes a lot of sense, especially for new investors who are reluctant to go "all in" and are foolishly thinking that they can time the market and buy at the bottom of the dip. |

I wasn't commenting on the odds, I merely shared what I think is the main reason Lily Gladstone won the SAG award, while non-US awards are ignoring her. After all, Oscars are US oriented award so no wonder that themes/agendas that are important to them have higher chance for winning. But her wife has been very very sad when she lost her hair from what I heard and maybe she tried to commit suicide or something like that, so this situation could have been very disturbing for him.

I just received another email from them to withdraw funds from their platform. Looks like this bull increased my funds there, I certainly won't go through their harassment for $5, but you should know that the withdrawal from Bittrex is still active.
I got the same email from them yesterday, but the amount I have stuck there is not so big as yours ($1.40 lol). I remember getting their withdrawal reminder emails last summer, and them saying that you have to do it until the end of August or something like that, so I guess it was just a bullshit as apparently they still allow withdrawals. |

Sending the admin a PM and telling them your willingness to apply to become a merit source was once a solution I thought about, but is that okay to do?
Imho, there's no reason yo contact admin stuff over that as theymos has been pretty clear about what someone has to do to became a merit source. The only problem I see at the moment is that he usually readjusts merit sources after the amount of merit shared drops down significantly, and that hasn't happened in the last few years. Then again, just because he did it in the past doesn't mean that he will do in the future. |

SAG is US organisation, so no surprise that Lily won the award.  Kudos to Mr. Smith for saving the Oscars with pure attitude and he wasn't wrong in that the joke wasn't funny.

Ne znam za ostale, ali ja sam pod utiskom da je na kompletnom forumu osetno manja aktivnost ove godine. Ne znam sta je tacan razlog, ali bi trebalo biti suprotno s obirom na trenutna desavanja na marketu. Pretpostavljam da delom moze biti napustanje 7 ili 8 mixer kampanja, ali vrlo malo toga zanimljivog se desava na forumu. Kad se pogledaju brojke na ninjastic.space, situacija je slicna onoj sa kraja prosle godine. Npr, u 12/2023 je na forumu napisano ~172k postova, a u 1/24 170k tako da odlazak mixera nije znacajnije utjecao na broj postova. Doduse, i ja sam dojma da se malo toga desava na forumu, ali nekako sam mislio da je to vise do mene i toga da trenutno nemam previse vremena za forum pa ne stignem pratiti, ali eto izgleda da nisam jedini. Bas sam sad iz znatizelje isao vidjeti kako se broj postova na forumu kretao kroz godine i ispada da je vrhunac aktivnosti bio 2018 godine, sto se poklapa sa ICO groznicom. 2020-2022 se forum dosta dobro drzao ali je onda iz nekog razloga 2023 bila dosta slabija. You're right a Full member rank single week payment is better than our current minimum wage so yeah some members actually live a decent life off signature campaigns.
Oh ffs, I knew situation is bad there but I had no idea that its that bad and I am glad that people from 3rd world countries can make their life easier via signature campaign. That also explains alt account farms, as its a no brainer for many coming from countries with that kind of life standard. This isn't an excuse, though. It is a shame for KuCoin to proudly claim they have 24/7 support and yet they can't resolve seemingly simple issues for many days. Not only are they most likely understaffed, what they probably have are also overworked, clueless, and underpaid outsourced workers from god knows which part of the globe.
That's bascially the case for all exchanges, even the top tier ones like Binance. And I don't think its only about being understuff/clueless, imho its more about not giving a fuck as they know that their users can't do much. Once I had my Binance withdrawals blocked for weeks for no obvious reason and only after I contacted them via reddit, it got unlocked in a matter of 20-30 minutes. |

S obzirom da sam prosli pregled objavio par sati prije kraja mjeseca, red je da se nastavi u istom stilu. Mjesecni pregled je standardno napravljen uz pomoc @DdmrDdmr Bitcointalk Merit Dashboarda te @TryNinja Ninjastic.space koji preporucam ako zelite vise detalja. Ovaj put necu objaviti usporedne chartove u ovom pregledu jer sam ih vec objavio prije par dana (a uz to sam lijen ) te ako ste ih fulali, mozete ih naci na Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity threadu.
Analiza broja postova tijekom Sijecnja 2024Tijekom proslog mjeseca napisali smo 240 postova sto je primjetan pad u odnosu na Prosinac 2023 tijekom kojeg smo napisali 280 postova. Moram priznati da nisam ocekivao pad u odnosu na mjesec ranije jer je 12. mjesec nije bas najaktivniji, ali eto iz nekog razloga smo bili manje aktivni.  Ispod je chart na kojem se vidi razvoj situacije od pocetka 2018 do danas te je primjetno da smo se vec neko vrijeme stabilizirali na brovji izmedju 200 i 300 postova sto nije lose. 
Analiza merita za Sijecanj 2024Tijekom Sijecnja podijelili smo 139 merita sto je mali pad u odnosu na mjesec ranije, koji ne cudi kad se uzme u obzir pad broja postova. Mislim da merita ima sasvim dovoljno na nasem boardu, a bilo bi ga i vise imamo clanova koji su spremni "levelati" account.  Puna lista svih koji su podijelili i primili merit tijekom Sijecnja 2024. Broj onih koji su poslali je cak narastao u odnosu na prethodno razdoblje (1 vise) dok je onih koji su primili merit 5 manje, sto ne cudi s obzirom na pad broja podijeljenih merita. 
Lista aktivnih clanova tijekom Sijecnja 2024Sto bi se reklo, last but not the least, lista svih koji su napisali makar 1 post na nasem boardu. Ne treba ni spominjati tko je naravno na vrhu, na (za njega) visokom 2. mjestu je dkbit98 a iznenadjenje mjeseca je SirJohnVonSlotty koji je iz nekog razloga postavljen na 3 mjesti ispred cryptofrke iako imaju isti broj postova. but the main point is that as long as such accounts aren't banned they'll continue shilling threads like this because they are being paid for shilling.
Even if they get banned they will just get the new ones and will continue with their business as usual but, but reporting is not in vain as more than once those who hired such services cancelled them when they realize that their posts are constantly being deleted. It may feel like a whack a mole game but sometimes it works. Hiring a shilling service that uses newbie accounts or controlling them yourself makes people want to avoid the service IMO.
Those who hire them probably no nothing about how this forum works and "marketing agencies" like Vitor Services are exploiting their ignorance. In the end it feels like scammers scamming other shady businesses so there's some sort of justice in all this.  |

@OP best course of action when you see something like this is to report their posts and eventually tag them for shilling (even though in that case they usually just ditch those accounts and start using new ones).
Good suggestion but I don't think that moderators will care much about deleting such posts especially when those are in gambling board. Tagging such users will also not be much fruitful because they aren't here to enroll in signature campaigns, their main role is just shilling the threads and they can do that even if they get 20 negative feedbacks. If I'm not wrong then such scammers who get paid for shilling may already have 100's of newbie rank accounts which they can use to shill the threads. Of course they will, if you prove that they are all part of the same bumping group (which is pretty obvious in this case). I (and many others) reported thousands of such posts and in 99.99% of the cases they got deleted so I have no idea on what you base your opinion. |

We seriously need to start thinking about making some yearly competitions and rewards for best local members, with counting of activity, merit distribution and overall forum contribution.
I think this could help improve quality of local boards and make everyone happy, if we find some sponsors (or if they find us).

That's not a bad idea at all, people like things like that and could yield results, especially if we manage to find some sponsors for it. We're about to take advantage of our population here as well Yeah. it was just a matter of time. Due combination of crypto popularity in your country, size of the population and the fact that you can (I guess) make an average monthly salary via signature campaign, I do expect you to eventually surpass Russian board as well. and the only advantage the Russian and Turkish boards have over us is the number of merit sources on those boards; whether we admit it or not, the number of merit sources and the amount of merit distributed attracts members to the local board, and that's exactly what the Nigerian board lacks; if we could get one or two merit sources, the activities would explode.
While I agree that amout of merit sources is important, I don't think that its crucial for the growth of local board (at least not for the organic growth, without alt account farms). After all, both Russian and Turkish local boards don't have higher merit per post ratio than you so I wouldn't say they have advntage over you in that aspect. With that being said, I do think that you need more merit sources and hopefully you get them the next time theymos decided to readjust the merit. |
