I live in the US and had that happen to me once, was it shipped right to start with or the right fees, id go to the post office and find out What ups and why, if it was all paid for all ready ...in my case the mail man was trying to ripe me off and did, it was only 20 bucks but he got away with it . I was a fool so now for something like that i go to the post office directly and make sure...but then again i got nothing to hide.

and make sure next time to delete all the folders including some folders in the hidden folders that could cause some of the corruption or been the real cause, the uninstall for windows doesn't all ways remove it all ... https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/show-hidden-files-and-folders-in-windows-vista/it remembered all the settings. because of those files and folders in the hidden folders which btw you can save an use with a clean install of windows which i do it saves all your settings including the activation of Awesome miner. The path is C:\Users\your username for windows\AppData\Roaming\AwesomeMiner/ConfigData.xml the xml file stores all your setting for Awesome miner. those folders are all ways hidden unless you customize you win 10 install.wim file or make them show. i have them showing all the time ....even after a clean install .. Good to know this if it happens any other time. Anyone else having issues with upgrading to 4.2?
First, Awesome gave me a red notification in the "Menu" saying it's got an update, tried updating it and after update process I saw that it didn't run automatically. Tried running the shortcut and it said the file is missing. Tried fresh install and it says "The cabinet file 'media1.cab' is corrupt and cannot be used". Tried downloading several times, different download locations, etc and I can't install it. Is the package really corrupt or am I the only one with this issue? Win10, x64 setup.

Edit: It seems there was something weird with the registry. I manually searched for Awesome miner registry entries and deleted them. After that, it installed normally, even remembered all the settings.

Are there any plans to incorporate DTSM's miner into awesome miner? I have been trying to add it myself via the managed template and generic miner option, but i am a bit confused on what to add for command line options. I have been unable to find any help on this or what awesome miner expects for this section. Any help would be appreciated. all ready asked an the Answer was hell look at it an maybe .... same problems I have loading it , i got it run as a upload replacing EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner an run with no stats couldn't get it to run any other way with Awesome .. even using Generic miner.. I do get many requests for features and mining software, and I try to implement the most requested features. Are you using the exact same command line arguments for the Generic Miner in Awesome Miner, as you use when manually launching the DTSM miner? Any output in if you use the Diagnostics button in the toolbar? That's just it, i'm not even getting ZM to launch via Awesome Miner. Set up a Managed miner,if you don't know how to follow the help me here http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/managedwizard.aspx then Highlight the managed miner you want to use with DTSM miners then right click it, click Properties, sense the miner can only use the Eqihash Algorithm set it to Eqihash for Algorithm then under software set that to either EWBF CUda Zcash miner or Generic miner for now we will use EWBF CUda Zcash miner to get it started .... for path check mark Specify existing installation path .. for path you can find the software miners two ways either use the Browse button or use the upload custom software at the top under tools in the main awesome miner window, find the DTSM miner folder and open it then click on the zm.exe then under mining pools you should have pools set up with your managed miner pick one it will only use pools that can mine coins from the Eqihash algorithm or Zcash type coins ....hit ok .. then right click the miner you just set up to use DTSM miners in the main AM window and hit start .. it should start mining with no states with Awesome miner that's because DTSM miners has Java for api access while awesome miner only uses API for api Access, if that's makes sense .... and for DTSM miner to work you also might need this https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 I did try with Generic miner but got a pop up error about it might be the wrong miner and you can add command lines for Generic miner by right clicking the managed miner you just set up to use DTSM miner then under mining engine for soft ware pick the Generic miner from the list ...but this time you might need to start it with bat file commands some thing like this zm --server your pool --port that pools port --user your user for that pool in the bat file area listed under add command lines on the left hand side bar there is a list with links after you click Properties click add command lines . can't say for sure sense i do have it working as i type as a replacement miner for EWBF CUda Zcash miner, i did it the way i posted above but sense i can't see any stats at all unless i look at the black screen UI it mines in, I will stay with EWBF CUda Zcash miner for now ... Btw that's the same way it will work with Generic miner if you get it working with Generic miner with no states an basic features/function...you may be able to add it as a custom software miner if it has the right APi access which right now AM doesn't support Java API and i bet that can be a bitch to put in, so i don't blame Patrike if he doesn't do it right now ... and Patrike here is the Diagnostics report you asked for using Generic miner, I'll be honest i have no plans to use DTSM miners unless it's added as one of the main software miners, so i won't brother trying to get it to work with Generic miner,i know why it won't an I can get it to work with Generic miner or know how to but sense i got it working as a replacement for EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner, no need to, so all good but will help TS auto switching with pools on a timer not using profit switching, if you need it ... Are you using the exact same command line arguments for the Generic Miner in Awesome Miner, as you use when manually launching the DTSM miner? Any output in if you use the Diagnostics button in the toolbar? I get a popup error I'd have to load it again to see using it with Generic Miner so no basically as far as getting some kind of Diagnostics report .... then i tired it with EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner with the upload tool replacing EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner sense it's command line are all most the exact same with different names an it loaded fine with no stats in AM, if i saw stats I don't think i would ask an I went to the miners thread an asked to add api support for the miner ,they told me in a nice way if uses Java for api support so no ..... EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner miner --server --user --port DTSM miner zm --server --user --port with no api support DTSM uses Java for api . DTSM miner seems a lot more stable then EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner and is faster ... even after the mishap that happen the other day with version 5.4 with the Dev an his greed for fees he seemed more worried about the fees then anything ...but its fixed, i don't use it because I'm hocked on awesome miner and use AM for everything i do mining, it can handle ..IF you add it you add it . I'll live if not, I don't have a issue with EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner other then it's slower after i figured out why it would stop on me some times . so all good .. Id thought Id ask for DTSM miner support, can't hurt to ask ... but the pool switching I'm all for if you get it working flawlessly, i use a proxy that switches on a set timer, i won't need to ....sense I'm not mining for short term profit, i mine to keep the coins .it's prefect no proxy needed and it works with GPU's or any miner or looks like it will ... plus things got better for me, so i hold on to coins now ..... I haven't set up any temp plates had no need to but if it switches better using them with 4.2 and auto switch on a timer which I'm trying now, I'll learn how to . |

Can you try to toubleshoot this by adding an action of the type Notification instead, so you see if the rule triggers correctly. The fact that many kinds of mining software doesn't have a good way to support pool switching, that could also be the issue. Awesome Miner tries to workaround that by reconfiguring the miner and restart it, but it could be something here I need to investigate more.
it did give me a Notification if I Understood what you wanted I left the pool switch in an also added type Notification and it gave me a Notification or popped one under Notifications with no description the pool didn't switch .. this one is using EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner for NV cards it was a 1070 and 1080 .. At 8 pm i have one of my Scrpt miners setup to switch and that does appears to be working it went to the pool i have set in awesome right a way, hoping it will switch at 8 pm .. it's using CGminer it did Switch at 8 pm on the ASIC Scrpt miner or A4 Dominator .... |

Hi Patrike, is possible to create a rule to periodically change of mining pool (by specified time, not by profit) something like each 6 or 8 hours? Could you please provide an example? Thanks
You can define a rule with a Time trigger that fires at 6 AM, with the action Miner Command -> Change Pool to YourPool#1 Then you define a second rule, with a Time trigger that fires at 2 PM, with the action Miner Command -> Change Pool to YourPool#2 Then a third... Please make sure that all three rules are enabled once you added them. Hey Patrike I setup four rules 6 hours a part to switch pools and no pools switched after 6 hours, so i set it to switch every hour with two rules, it still didn't switch pools with GPU mining. Haven't tired with ASIC miners yet i saw it's possible ... Is there more i need on I might have turned off ? ... |

Ive had an issue or 2 with minera and bfgminer on my raspberry pi 3b .. most i have been able to work out on my own (manually editing the json file for instance) but i now have a rather weird issue and i cannot tell if it's related to minera , or bfgminer ...
i have 2 greedseed g-blades running (the unit comes with a pair of 2 blades , each with it's own usb plug and power) .. both the blades show up , both are freq adjustable and both hash .. BUT only one hashes at a time ... and on restarting the miner it's a 50/50 chance on which one will hash ...
the stats show all the shares on one blade .. i would think thats ok if thats the way the panel displays the stats .. BUT each blade does 2.5mh and the panal shows the total as 5hm BUT my pool shows me hashing the past 24 hours at 2.5 so my only conclusion is that only 1 blade is hashing ...
anyone else ever seen this? is their some setting im missing? FYI both blades are pluged directly into the raspberry (expecting powered usb hub soon) so that may have something to do wit it also.
my current settings are

first try it with just BFG running at the command line.. if both hash ok then it may not be bfg... it might be you need that Powered Hub ,I had all most the same issue with my Alchemist miner on any type PI , once i put it on a USB powered Hub the problem stopped . I use my own custom installed version of BFG and Minera for a Alchemist 256 with 4 working boards and a Avalon 6 the Avalon uses Cg miner only because Bfg has no support for Avalon miners: Avalon4 and above. |

hi folks - wondering about awesome miner. How legit is it? Any possibility there is a trojan snarfing data, or that it is "taking" cycles away for mining to its account?
very Legit ,worth the money, it's gets updates all most daily, the Developer is active,if you request something it more then likely will be added if it's with in reason and can be done.. For the money we pay why would the Developer do that ? .,.... you don't donate to use it, you pay for any thing over what the free version offers ... SO, like puwaha said this is not a software miner it's a Monitoring system that keeps track of all your miners with features that help the miners an has nothing to do with the soft ware miner it self, other then monitor .. |

Right now no idea how profitable it is but I'm willing to give it a shot for now ... mining is a hobby for me ... BTw the QT bitcoin gold wallet version works, i just finished downloading the full node from the BTC block chain sense it uses the BTC BC and you can run the bitcoin core and bitcoin gold wallet on the same PC at the same time just have a big Hard drive for two copy's of the BTC block chain i couldn't share the chains ...I'm getting payments from one of the pools i think the others are not working right or being dishonest ... sorry to say the pool I'm mining on seems to be very honest the payment are on the money so to speak while the others take for ever to post some thing i don't trust them yet .. The pool i use https://gpool.guru/ btw we never know this might work they said zec was a bad idea don't mine it, if you worry about Roi yea don't mine it ..... now look at Zcash .. well any way well see...in time. |

Well....what a surprise.....another large corporation that is trying to crush any opportunity for regular civilians to make a business or money on their own. A large corporation that has more money than they could ever spend. This time hopefully they stepped in it. The Bitmain ASIC's business model, does not appear to carry over well to the GPU market. It is inherently grass roots and homegrown. I hope like Hell it can stay that way.
