261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 12, 2022, 05:42:08 PM

Local population of Gulf countries are not interested in Cricket and it's clear if we look at their domestic setup, majority of them are made up with expat's kids (mostly from Indian subcontinent). This move automatically gets a green light for the ICC's fund and by doing so they are eating share of deserving countries like Nepal, thailand etc

Nepal is located in area where top cricket countries ar3 are located like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Srilanka. Still we haven't seen Nepal in any main icc tournament so far, while teams of uae and Oman are seen in majority of icc main tournament. There should be law that only locals will be allowed to be part of team.
I think it is the interest of the whole nation and also the viewership which attracts the companies. Are Napali or Arabs even interested in Cricket?
As far arabs are concerned - they are in footballs. That looks very glamorous there. But in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh people are very concerned about cricket.

Yes, i believe that if one country is famous for some sports, it does not mean that the neighboring countries should play and take interest in the same sports. You have mentioned a good example of Saudi Arab here who often qualify for the Fifa Men's world cup but we haven't seen neighboring countries line india, pakistan or bangladesh ever qualified for the fifa WC.
262  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 12, 2022, 01:47:09 PM
One of the casinos where I gamble have gone totally overboard with their marketing campaigns. They are spending millions of dollars on marketing and to fund this, they introduced several projects to increase traffic to their site. Now, I am not going to say which site it is.... but I guess a lot of people play there.  Roll Eyes

The site is great ....but the gambling experience has deteriorated... because the RTP has been nerf'ed to hell and gone to pay for these projects.

Now my question is this... do you prefer that a casino offer loads of promotions and campaigns and sponsorships and sacrifice RTP in favor of that.... or will you rather have a decent gambling experience with a better RTP?

Let's discuss...  Wink

Of course there will always be a better RTP for the player than money on marketing. I get pissed off when a casino spends a lot of money on marketing, because I know some of my money is also going to that. I think it is logical that the more they spend on marketing, the more they have to increase the percentage for themselves. Fortunately, there are already so many casinos on the market that there is plenty to choose from.

Well, we need to understand that gambling is a business for the casino and hence every business will spend money on marketing in order to grow and gain more customers (gamblers in this case). Marketing is the expense of the business and every gambling site allocates a certain percentage of its budget for marketing. So if some gambling sites spend more funds on gambling, we should not be upset about it. It is their right to gain more gamblers on their site.

Everyone has their own share of experience, the most essential aspect is to get up, dust yourself, move on and keep trying again using your experience as a lesson and guide. Mistakes are necessities of life.

Everyone has a different experience with crypto. Some people have become millionaires with bitcoins and they have totally changed their life.
However, there are people who have lost everything in crypto. However, we should not blame crypto for their loss. It is their lack of knowledge and greediness which make them lose their cryptocurrencies.
I hope whoever loses money in crypto should learn the lesson and acquire the necessary knowledge for investment and trading.

264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 11, 2022, 07:23:37 PM
In 2024, the United States and West Indies will host the T20 World Cup. The US will be hosting its first ever World Cup. It has been confirmed by the ICC that USA will qualify for the 2024 T20 World Cup automatically as co-hosts with the West Indies. Hosting was the only way for them to qualify. The USA needs to develop a good cricket team that can compete. I'm sure it will be filled with expats. Cricket in North America will benefit from it.

Is this joke or something that USA will host the ICC cricket world cup. How can they host a world cup when they have no proper cricket team?
The only reason for this is that ICC want cricket to flourish in the US and they choose the most wired way.
Do you know any cricket stadiums in the US? I have never witnessed any international cricket match being played in that country  Huh
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A month of WAR on: April 11, 2022, 02:33:50 PM
The impact of the war that occurred between Russia and Ukraine, which is still continuing to this day, of course has resulted in losses and impacts on the world's economic growth and even some countries have been affected by the war, for example, as happened in the crypto world, which of course indirectly also follows the impact of the war. the war, and we also really hope that the price of bitcoin does not immediately fall freely in the midst of the economic conditions of countries in the world that are experiencing a slight downturn.

Unless and until the war between Ukraine and Russia is completely over, we will not see stability and positive momentum in bitcoin prices. There is a risk that any bad news between these two countries can suddenly dump the whole crypto market. So those who are trading should trade with care and do not let open your trades without any stop loss. Unfortunately, the possibility of a world war is still not over.
266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Charity Work on: April 11, 2022, 01:28:36 PM
I’ve been doing free training and education about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies since 2018. Been roaming around the country using my own money for accommodation, travel expense and venue (thanks to the glory days of airdrops and bounties) to educate the uninformed and misinformed community. I even do private workshops for free as I don’t want to charge a single dime like the gurus out there. But of course, there are random blessings from the organizers and community as well such as voluntary donations, treating me for food, etc., without even expecting it.

You’re doing great work in your Bitcoin charity activities. Keep it up, spread the word, love what you do, etc.

When you work for the community without any monetary benefit, usually people are kind enough to help you. It is not very easy to devote your time to the knowledge and betterment of your society.
By the way, did you later get feedback from those people whom you teach, on how this knowledge has helped them succeed in life?
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to leave btc on: April 10, 2022, 05:26:40 PM
No movement of btc so its time to leave and come back after 2 years.
Its just not moving where is the daily 20-30% price swings? Of alt coins also? ,barerly 5% price moves in few days for that long you cant earn nothing with futures.
I leave btc im disapointed it just dont move i need btc to move no short no long just standing all market thats not why we here for.
Lets see in few years if btc is fixed and it moves again now nothing to do here for this year maybe one month there is movement but thats not enough we need to earn money everyday but if btc dont move then nothing to do.

So i come back after few years then lets see if they have fixed btc.

I think you totally misunderstood how the bitcoin prices move. The more the bitcoin is adopted and the more people hold bitcoin, the volatility of the bitcoin will further decrease.

I am sure that when you will come back after 2 years, there will be even less volatility. The price of bitcoin may be more in two years' time but the volatility will be less.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 07, 2022, 06:43:00 PM
The performance of the Delhi Capitals seems very strange to me. Delhi lost their first wicket by 67 runs. Prithvi Shaw was dismissed for 61 off 34 balls. They lost Warner's wicket by just 2 runs. They lost the third wicket for 74 runs. They scored 86 runs in 12.5 overs, and they have scored only 19 runs in the last 5 overs. If Lalit and Rishabh Pant can play well then Delhi can give a big target. Otherwise, their innings will end before 150.
Delhi has given a target of only 150 runs. Lucknow needs just 7.5 runs per over to win. Experienced enough of Lucknow's batsmen. You should not face any problem to win by batting for such a low run. They have experienced batsmen like de Kock, Rahul and Lewis in their squad. Lucknow can easily win if any one of these three players can play well today.
The match is completely under the control of Lucknow. Lucknow's collection of 70 runs in 9 overs, and the funny thing is that they have not lost a wicket yet. KL Rahul is unbeaten on 22 off 22 balls and de Kock is unbeaten on 46 off 32 balls. LSG needs only 80 runs from 66 balls to win. If there is no miracle happen, LSG will easily win today. But I expected better bowling from the Delhi bowlers. Their bowling is disappointing me today.

Lucknow Super Giants need only 39 runs from 30 balls to win. De Kock's responsible batting has helped them reach the victory easily. De Kock is still unbeaten on 71 off 46 balls. The main reason for Delhi's defeat is their poor batting. Every batsman has wasted a lot of balls. For this too, they were able to provide only 149 run target. It is very difficult to win with such a low-run target.

Lucknow Super Giants have finally won the match by 6 wickets. Quinton De Kock single handedly won this match for this team. He scored 80 runs in only 52 balls. Prithvi Shaw from Delhi Capitals also scored 61 but that didn't helped his team won the match.
With this win, Lucknow Super Giants are at number 2 at the points table along with KKR and both of them have six points.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 07, 2022, 04:53:26 PM
For me I would say you should be attentive to news if you are a trader or have trading  knowledge. With this you can make profit at intervals of major dump and moon news. This is not a hodl method but a quick profit means and if you trade futures with very low leverage and cool capital you can make some profit. Because in bear market, dip will come in levels and not a straight line and between them there will be some little bull trends. Those are what you trade.

It's difficult to detect exactly when the bear market starts. No one can time the bear market perfectly. By the time you realize its a bear market, the market has already dumped more than 40-50% and it's impossible for you to recover your losses.
If you follow money management and are not greedy in the bull market, only then you can survive better in a bear market.
270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: April 07, 2022, 02:33:03 PM
I am not certain why bitcoin is dumping
You sometimes say things that make no sense, specially since you aren't new.
3-4% fluctuations are not called "dumping" something bigger than $10% is. That means if price had fallen down to $39k-$40k then you could have called it "dumping" not when it goes from $44k to $46k then to $43k then back to $45k, rinse and repeat.

Yeah, bitcoin does not move in a straight line. In fact, no finical markets move in a straight line. When any coin moves in an upward direction, there are a lot of people who have bought that coin low and they tend to book profits and hence we see some correction. As long as the bullish structure of Higher High and Higher low is not broken, there is nothing to worry about regarding bitcoin price movements.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects? on: April 07, 2022, 01:17:27 PM
New projects give new opportunities. That is why many investors are interested in new and prospective projects to know about such opportunities and earn money on investment.

This is not always the case that you earn by investing in good companies. Sometimes, new projects investment go in vain if the project turns out to be a scam. No matter how much you research on a new project, there is always a greater risk involved.

If you ask my personal opinion, i would prefer to invest in a project which is already established and trusted by many people. I fear investing in a brand new project.
272  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach its all-time high? on: April 07, 2022, 09:59:18 AM
(...)

Time will tell. What are your predictions of when will bitcoin recover from this decline?
Time will tell...
Well, this 2nd quarter it looks like not at its best. The market seems to move up and down, I'd never see strong resistance in the market making its way up consistently. The price of Bitcoin may just be raging $40k-$48k.

However, I'd expect a change in this trend likely in the 3rd quarter, but never I expect the price of Bitcoin will move as high as $55k. This year we're not really be going to have ATH again but at least, we're not on the bearish side. Looking at the market price this time, I guess people are still calm and confident about holding investments. If this is still kept going, prices will surely don't drop more instead of growing high.

April is traditionally a month where we see some good momentum in bitcoin. I am hopeful that this month will be bullish for bitcoins. For the last 2 weeks, bitcoin was moving positively upwards but yesterday and today, it is again showing some selling pressure. I don't know if the bitcoin conference 2022 has a negative impact on price  Huh
Usually, we see bitcoin and crypto pumping before the events and dumping on and during the events.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is a centralized SCAM and will drop to $30 again on: April 07, 2022, 09:33:37 AM
Why do people go in ETH now or trust ETH now when the secret to success was to buy ETH at $0.25 or $10?

When now you are better off going in projects that are like early eth for example koinos which the devs work relentlessy on daily as you can see on github but its still so cheap as eth was day1 so this is a chance to make $100k from $100 while eth is not only making the rich richer

Your analysis is similar to a person who recently come to know about crypto and tries to draw the price conclusion based on price only without knowledge of blockchain and fundamentals.
Just keep in mind, that after bitcoin, only Ethereum is truly decentralized. ETH to 30$ can be in dreams only and never in reality.
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: April 06, 2022, 11:46:17 PM
Hello!I guess we all know its more reasonable to invest money into stable projects like BTC/ETH/SOL/ATOM/MATIC/DOT ect, but this isnt what this thread is about.
So if you were to gamble with a certain smaller percentage of your capital, which yet small and unknown projects would you invest into and why?

Beside these top Projects I would like to invest GMT (binance listed ) and GST (Mexc listed). Both coins are coins of project Step N.
Reason for choosing these coin is success and interst of people toward the project. Every day 2k new people are registering in this project and Usecase is increasing day by day. When more people use this project then they need These coins to mint nft and for buying other components which will increase the demand of token and we can expect a real pump in some months.

I have also heard a lot about this project Step N project. Do you have any material or link which tells in detail about this project? I have seen the success of GMT but did not invest in it.  Cry  I do not wish to miss out on other new projects which may be developed on this platform.

Apart from such high potential moonshots, i usually do not risk my money in low liquidity coins and most of my investment is in the large cap coins. This makes my investment more secure, however, the profit ratio is also low if we invest in the top 10 coins.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 06, 2022, 11:24:51 PM
Long term holding is worth when profit increase above 300% but if still under 20% profit after holding two or three years later I will take decision with short term holding only. I think with short term or daily trading I can earn profit about 5% in daily day and calculated almost 150% each month, but not sure with keep consistent profit in daily day because have bad thing later when price can't predicting. Better with long term holding if coin as potential at the future like WAVES maybe from 15$ now have reach almost $50.

I am holding bitcoin, ethereum, and some other altcoins for long term hold but i have not done any calculations as to when i will hold them and what could be the right moment to sell these coins. My rough idea is that i would like to hold my coins until the next bull and then think of cashing out 20-40% of my portfolio. Of course, i would never ever sell my whole portfolio unless and until i am in need of money.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Community means everything on: April 06, 2022, 06:26:50 PM
an active community and interacting with other teams will determine the future of a project. Usually it's the community that drives the project's success, for example what happened with Shiba Inu some time ago, I think it's because of the community that works optimally.
Some people do not realize that community is an important part in the success of a project,
when having a strong community I think that is a good thing and will be useful,
we can't just ignore it and should be grateful if a project has such a community

Community is very important, especially for new projects. Usually, when a new project launches, people are hesitant to take part in that project. They check their team, their social media presence, and how many people follow them. The big the community the project has, the more are the chances that people are attracted to them. People stay with the good project and if the community supports the project, it means that the project is worth the investment.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: April 06, 2022, 04:31:21 PM
I have 2 BNB, what is a good project to invest in? Something with utility, no shit coins

BNB has the best utility, I don't understand why do you want to sell BNB in order to get another better coin ?
You have only 2 bnb, so if you convert it in ethereum, you will not get even full one eth. Converting your BNB into low satoshi coins is not a wise idea. BNB is a strong coin and you can keep your investment in this coin.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does staking even make any sense on: April 06, 2022, 04:16:26 PM
How do people even enjoy staking their coins and tokens? I'm confused, yesterday I tried to stake some amount of stable coin aka USDT on Binance Exchange and it is worth 1000$ but the return on this in a year is 95$ lol, I laughed so hard that I almost flipped my laptop, why the heck people doing this?.

Staking will always give you less ROI because it is passive income. You just have to put your coins at staking and do nothing in order to get this money. So the ROI will always be low as compared to trading crypto in which the reward is also high but there is also risk.

However, staking crypto is still very popular because staking gives you much better returns as compared to the interest which banks give us on depositing money with them.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc price moving too much on: April 06, 2022, 01:12:57 PM
There is no need for jobs traders will accept goverment funding binance and btc thats enough so we can earn fee 2000-5000$ at least monthly.

Goverment need to step in and support our losees also i hope they do btc stable

I don't know what are you trying to say here. Why would the government come and save you if bitcoin isn't stable? If you are concerned about the stability of the bitcoin, better stay in fiat. Bitcoin is volatile and will continue to be volatile unless and until its market cap reached close to that of gold.

You can look at the charts with the price movements since close to BTC's inception, and you've decided that BTC's price is moving "too much" just now?

Bitcoin is not moving at all, in fact, it is mostly trading in a tight range for quite some time.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Happens to One's Bitcoin if Death Occurs? on: April 05, 2022, 11:20:59 PM
I had been saving Cryptocurrencies for my children and wife  so yeah I did all the precautionary measures as I also assume this may come to everyone .

My wife and Eldest Son already has the share for my private keys so in case of unexpected death then they can share the keys and will take all my funds for their uses when I'm gone.
That’s right, there are lots of scam in the crypto-currency market and everyone who is into this has to be very careful. If you’re not sure of something, it is always the best decision that you avoid them instead of going further, because you can end up losing your money.

Most times people tend to fall for all these scams because they are greedy and scammers know that people are greedy that’s why they always make promises that are so good to be true, and most people wouldn’t see that, because their mind is on what they are about to gain and not what the project actually is.
Don't worry mate, I never invested even a single coin in what i think scam project , instead all my holdings are the most trusted and promising coin and even some of them are coins that has been on the top for long years now.
this is how i saved funds for my family and loveones , because all my effort are for them and i would not be here if not for them.

I appreciate your efforts for yourself and your family but you need to make a plan that in case you are no more in this world, your family will be able to access your wallets and funds. Most of the time, we neglect the fact that if we die without giving access to our wallets to our family, that money will be lost forever. Since death is sudden and no one knows when it will come, better to make a plan to give access to your wallets to your near and dear ones.
