2601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GHash.IO and double-spending against BetCoin Dice on: December 20, 2013, 08:26:38 AM
And we can't do anything about this?

If you are a multi-millionaire you can do something about it, just buy and setup the same power of GHasg.IO so you will balance the network......
2602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newsweek in 1995: Why the Internet will Fail. on: December 20, 2013, 08:02:27 AM
I have likened the current stage of Bitcoin as similar to the birth of the modern web. Back in '95 the Internet was just as misunderstood.

Here is another from 1994

yes I watched this one, I like when they say our "internet address instead of e-mail" than he asks what is that @ how do you say it hahahahahaha

2604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Newsweek in 1995: Why the Internet will Fail. on: December 20, 2013, 07:54:34 AM
this was an article from 1995

This is good.

A blog called Three Word Chant has dug up an infamous Newsweek article dating back to 1995 titled “The Internet? Bah!” .

There are a number of quotes that will leave you grinning proudly about how wrong author Clifford Stoll was, but before we criticise, let’s accept this is 1995. The Internet was a mess. No Google. No method to the madness. It’s understandable how many may have believed there wasn’t something in this Internet thing. Then again, this author really should have known better, Clifford Stoll is a US astronomer and author, you would expect someone of his technological background to have you a more inspired vision of the future. You can read more about him here and watch a mad (and I mean mad) TED presentation of his here.

You can read the article below. My favorite parts are highlighted in red.

read the whole article here  http://thenextweb.com/shareables/2010/02/27/newsweek-1995-buy-books-newspapers-straight-intenet-uh/#!qjW6g

How could Mirsad be right? You still haven't figured out he is the most smartest person on the planet and never made a bad trade? And that he is 16th generation Swiss with Bosnian name that lives better life than 99% of the planet?

Come one, how could you not know that? Cheesy

One thing you didn't get.
We make fun of bosnians every day. Not all.. but most of them are really bad integrated. They can't speak proper german/swiss german after 20 years here!

And the most important thing: They think, that this is their country... damn suckers. They could easily go back. But no free iphones, clothes, appartments and cars from the government. Bad thing: They have way more children than educated people -> amount of suckers steadily increases.

I've to apologize for every hard working bosnian, which is good integrated.

you know too much about Bosnian to not be one of them hahahahaah, BTW I work in a company here in Slovenia that 40% of its employees are Bosnian but what you just said doesn't apply to all of them...... it is shame to not admit your origins...

to add one of my best friends are Bosnian and I do understand allot of Serbian-Croatian another thing to add I am a Slovenian citizen but originally I am from Algeria and proud to be Wink

It's pretty funny to watch an entire thread of that shit, actually. There must be like 5 people controlling 20 accounts.

BTW I have only one account and yes I do sometime come here to make fun out of some users here, but this doesn't make me a 100% troll, most of the time I post really informative posts or call it my point of view, if you do not like my point of view than move on there is nothing to see here....

Why did you see a need to buy an account?

Ok you make your case. Sock puppets tend to quote themselves. Once you use the ignore button liberally on questionable accounts this becomes patently obvious. So when you quote them more than a few times you go on the naughty list.

I just get annoyed at traders who post low value material solely to drive market sentiment in their favor. Grow a pair and stand behind your trade, or change it. This is a house of learned men, not your personal echo chamber to manipulate the market.

ok it is becoming pointless to argue here, if you can get manipulated with posts here or/and if your trades are based on advises of this board than you really need to quit reading this sub-forum, all we do here is speculate

what a shame.... Max keiser brings a clone to Maxkeiser report to talk about Quark ... he said "for me it is the best coins out there because it is more secure...." WTF !!!?Huh   http://youtu.be/0oYkMLph6NA?t=19m14s

these are criminals, they pump and dump, these are the people who makes me question the concept of crypto each time I hear them

Anyone listening to this clowns is a moron, full stop. They speak nonsense and are mostly clueless. Quark is an instamined scam, very insecure because of its fast maturity. That's so obvious that is painful.

I'm amazed by the amount of supporters Max Keiser has on this forum. It's pathetic.

pre-mined ...cough ... enough say

oh and market cap means nothing because its bases on total qrkcoins in few hands..... yeah

I cant stand it so I had to tweet something   https://twitter.com/mmitech/status/413746920050290688     and     https://twitter.com/mmitech/status/413743643451596800
